Its not really an irish bar, nothing irish in it. The terrace bar is really nice and worth going up for a drink, nothing to do with the actual service, but the twice we went in their any time we went to use the loo we had people banging and knocking on the door when we had only gone in i am not sure if this is something that people just do in the pub or if they were just rude people.

Walked in and got told it was closed by unfriendly bar staff at 7.20pm. Funny that posted hours said open at 4.00pm. Shame woulda got some good business.

I always go there at night soth my friends. It's a great place to hang out before going clubbing or justto sit around listening to some nice live music. It's a bit crowdy though, depending on the days you're going.
And yes, they do have Guinness and Irish Whiskey

Great place and a very lively place especially with live music... and if a bartender called Rubin is there, let him make you an Old Fashion with a twist, or just something special as he's quite good at it Seriously a very good place

If I could give nó star i would. Yes it's a bar . Impersonal . But not irish . You know that when they know what a half is and you don't . Forget about it . If you are irish and want a local go to the ancora bar seriously.do you just have to stick up a Guinness sign to be an Irish pub

One of the best Irish Pubs in the Algarve! Amazing and friendly team, great live bands. The space inside is cozy, with 2 floors, and they also have a nice terrace where they do sunset partys and other fun activies. If you visit Faro you have to go there!

Lugar imprescindible en Faro con ambiente joven, animado y multicultural. Ofrece casi todos los días actividades diferentes: karaoke, musica en directo, etc.
Tiene dos plantas, de forma que puedes optar por dos ambiente. Abajo música y arriba conversación.
Para los fumadores decir que se puede fumar dentro y las pintas a 3€ y las cañas a 1,5€.
Repetiré seguro.

Lieu imprescindible à Faro avec un environnement très joli, animé et multiculturel. Ce lieu offre presque tous les jours des différents activités: karaoke, musique live...
Il y a deux étages de façon qu’on peut profiter de deux différents milieux. Au rez-de-chaussée musique et au premier étage discussion avec tes amis.
Pour les fumeurs, on peut signaler qu’il n’y a pas interdiction de fumer dedans la salle et les pintes coûtent 3€ et les demi 1,5€.

Muy buen sitio. Súper book por 3€ si es pinta (caneca) y 1,5€ si es caña (imperial). Fuimos un miércoles y había ambiente por la noche de karaoke. Muy bueno. Volveré.

El mejor sitio de Faro. Buena música,música en directo.
Buena cerveza. Con una terraza enla azotea de ambiente chillout muy agradable.
Merece la pena ir una noche a tomar una cerveza y empaparse de las bandas que llevan. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A little gem of a place. We were a group of ten and we were so well looked after. Staff were excellent. We were there for 2 nights and the music on both nights was brilliant. Would definitely give back if we are in Faro again. Thanks Ruben (the Barma)

p.s I forgot to say that it has a terrace with a wonderful sunset and a view of the city of Faro with a pleasant sound, great to chat with friends or take your lover for a drink.

Ambiente bom, agradável e com três espaços: térreo, 1ª andar e área aberta (2.ª andar). Dizem que tem ótimos cocktails, porém não pedi devido a um preço alto dos mesmos. Longe de serem bebidas espirituosas, mas de todo o restante, indico e recomendo!

Nice Irish Pub to grab some drinks and enjoy the good weather on the rooftop! Even in winter you can sit inside on the second floor or listen to live music on the ground floor. Sometimes they are organizing karaoke nights.
Good prices and super friendly staff. Highly recommended :)

Great venue. No food but cgeap beer and good range of spirits. Live Music doesnt start till 12.10 and goes on til 3.30 am. Good vibe and music before the Live session.

SCAM ALLERT
Went to the rooftop at almost 23, told us that we could get in for 5 euros but the party was gonna end soon and we could go to another party later. After 10 mins it was over and the bouncer that let us in telling us about the other place could not speak English anymore.
Very unpleasant experience, definitely would not recommend....

Good laugh, live music and small rooftop bar. It feels like a proper pub I suppose and is a messy night when it's busy (which is all summer). Guinness on draft if that's what you're looking for.

Pub is about as Irish as the queen. Expected to be able to watch hurling match on Sunday and it was soccer on all TV's. They wouldn't know what a Hurley looked like.

Pub très sympa à Faro où nous avons passé la St Patrick et fêté mon anniversaire avec cocktail maison créés pour moi qui ne bois pas de bière par les barmen sur le moment en fonction de mes goûts. Lieu très populaire où vous pouvez assister à de petits concerts

Prices for drinks expensive but very good quality cocktails freshly made in front of you with pride. Beautiful Live music. Small 2 floors. Irish? Not in the slightest though you will get a pint of guiness.

Bar espectacular, com som ao vivo e diversos andares com mesas e espaços acolhedores e agradáveis de se estar. No último andar tem uma vista engraçada com mesas para se sentar onde se está muito bem.
