Arrived late, but still offered some feshly warmed bread and some Manchego like cheese. Served with a fabulous red wine. And a smile!!

Amazing place for a country side getaway. Highly recommended. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is very pleasant and scenic as well.

Un hotel agradable, con piscina y animales en el jardín. Rodeado de montañas y muy tranquilo. El desayuno bufé completo y bueno. La camas, aunque pequeñas, muy confortables. El único pero, es que el aire acondicionado hace mucho ruido.

É um Hotel rural e o seu requinte mistura-se com o ambiente familiar.
Dispõe de piscina interior, quinta pedagógica, jardins e uma pequena vinha.
Um refúgio no campo as porta da cidade.

Sitio muy tranquilo, silencioso por la noche, puedes descansar sin problrmas. Habitación grande, baño grande, todos los detalles. El desayuno es completo, tipo buffet. El personal me ha atendido correctamente. Excelente.

Hoy mi primer día y la atención ha sido exquisita.
La habitación muy limpia muy confortable.
El exterior es preciso, con jardines piscina y todos los servicios que puedes esperar en un hotel.

The staff were very helpful and made very welcome when we arrived after getting lost at night coming from Lisbon airportRooms comfortable and a nice breakfast enjoying the view across their grounds. If you are in a cartravelling into Portugal then this hotel is only 25 minutes from the airport and worth the stay.

Excellent place if you have small children staying with you, It has large open area outside and nice clean place for chidren to run around, unlike hotels where they are couped up in a room or lobby.

Precisa de uma remodelação a nível de insonorização, ouve-se quase tudo o que se passa no hotel. As instalações são antigas, mas estão bem cuidadas e limpas.

Charmant et calme. Nous n'y avons passé qu'une nuit. Le petit déjeuné est très correct. Seul détail qui compte : c'est assez mal insonorisé et on entend l'accueil et les voisins etc. Sinon c'est bien !

Fint hotell og flott plass . Reint og enkle rom.
Mye bråk fra vei og flyplass.
Elendig frokost , har vært mye på hotell.
Personen som møtte oss på kvelden i resepsjonen var hyggelig. Men øvrig personalet var lite hyggelig og imøtekommende . Stønnet å uffet seg ved spørsmål, sa i fra at kaffen på kannen var kaldt så ble ho sur og argumenterte .

About 30 minutes outside of Lisbon this hotel sits on the outskirts of the town. Winding roads lead you the picturesque front door of this Spanish looking beautiful hotel. Inside the hotel is beautifully decorated in an old style that reminds you of a 1970s series of Bonanza. The grounds are vineyards upon entry, you can see sheep in the meadow and the entire property is a breath of fresh air and mos to of all relaxing. The breakfast was made fresh daily, the food was regional and very good.

Lugar calmo com requinte, boa gente e acolhedora fácil acesso perto da autoestrada , a vinte minutos do aeroporto de Lisboa. No meio do campo a um passo da cidade.... aconselho...

Passei a passagem de ano na Quinta de Santa Maria em Arruda dos Vinhos e foi realmente um momento único. Serviço impecável, pessoas muito simpáticas. Dormimos lá e o quarto era maravilhoso - 5 estrelas.

We spent a wonderful week in this hotel in Arruda. The beds were great, the apartments clean and very cool (temperatures in the summer in Portugal can reach 40 C!) The staff are very friendly and clean the rooms every day. The views from the hotel are breathtaking, looking onto fields and hills. Don't forget to visit the village of Arruda dos Vinhos, where this hotel is situated. There are good restaurants, beautiful monuments to see and nice walking routes. The best part of it all is that we could take our dog with us. Quinta da Santa Maria is dog friendly. I really recommend this place to every one and its only 30 minutes by car from Lisbon. Quinta da Santa Maria is a hidden Portuguese treasure!

Falta de profissionalismo!
Tinha o almoço de baptizado do meu filho agendado (falei pessoalmente na quinta e preenchi o papel de reserva), faltando apenas escolher ementa que ficaram de me enviar as opções. A 15 dias do baptizado, como não me tinham enviado as ementas entrei em contacto com a quinta à qual me responderam: "(...) a Quinta de Santa Maria sofreu reestruturações e o nosso restaurante deixou de estar aberto ao público (...) Referiu que tinha efectivado uma reserva connosco, mas não temos indicação da mesma."
Fiquei incrédula com a situação! Ainda por cima a poucos dias do baptizado! Acho inadmissível de muita falta de profissionalismo!

The first room (family room) we were given had a broken AC which was leaking water. This room smelt also not too fresh.After asking, we were given 2 separate rooms with AC unfortunately one had a bath room without an air vent and the shower had a lots of fungus stains so we bought an anti fungal spray.The staff was very helpful so the stay was relaxing after we had to go through the above.So overhaul it was a relaxing stay and hopefully the management will take care of the above points.

Die Quinta bietet eine ruhige Umgebung, in einem schönen Garten läßt es sich gut entspannen. Angenehmes Restaurant, gute Küche. Hilfsbereites Personal.Leider war die von uns gebuchte und bezahlte Kategorie nicht verfügbar, angeblich schon vergeben. Erst nach Nachfrage wurde uns ein Apartment als Ersatz angeboten. Das Standardzimmer ist für den Preis nicht angemessen.

Nice small country house hotel in rural setting. Car needed. Room a little small but very clean and nicely furnished. Staff friendly and helpful. Had nice dinner in restaurant. Breakfast was a bit disappointing, limited choice.

Ein idealer Ort, um Lissabon und seine Umgebung zu erkunden:25 Minuten Fahrzeit in die Innenstadt von Lissabonund maximal 50 Minuten Fahrtzeit zu allen Stränden des europäischen West-Endes.Der Service ist liebevoll und fürsorglich. Man spricht englisch und französisch.Es gibt nur 5 (fünf) Hotelzimmer und drei Appartements, es ist also kein Massenbetrieb.Man kennt sich, man kümmert sich, kann sich aber auch nicht in der Anonymität verstecken.Es gibt keine Minibar auf dem Zimmer, aber man bekommt zu jeder Tages- und Nachtzeitalle Wünsche an der Rezeption oder Bar erfüllt - zu einem Bruchteil des Minibar-Preises.Der große Pool unter einem Zeltdach strahlt Luxus aus, ist top gepflegtund jederzeit nutzbar.

This is a bit of a gem, but it is out of town so a car is essential. Perfect if you want total relaxation. We stayed in the suite on the hotels first floor, very comfortable. The restaurant serves very nice meals for dinner, though the included breakfast is a bit ordinary. The staff were very helpful, even recommending where to eat at local restaurants. In the small nearby town of Arruda, there are a number of nice cafés and restaurants, Nazareth is a family run restaurant and well worth a visit.

We had arrived with the plane to Lissabon and needed to stay a night on our way to the Douro area. It took a while until we arrived at the hotel, so we checked in at 10pm. We received a very nice and big room on the 2nd floor. I also asked about getting something to eat, since we were very hungry, and I was told that the kitchen is closed but they will prepare a dinner for us. The dinner turned out to be very good, as well as the wines, and the service. The next morning we tool a look at the surroundings and wished that we had stayed for at least another day - the swimming pool, the various small houses and the park - all looked very inviting.
