Perfectamente ubicado en el centro del pueblo junto a la playa. Habitación amplia y reformada. Una agradable piscina y un buen desayuno. El personal muy amable y atento en todo momento. Una grata experiencia, lo recomiendo.

Excellently located. All units on the front have a small balcony with a sea view. Great for that mid afternoon bottle of wine and cheese. Located in the heart of everything. Carvoeiro is a nice small Algarve town on the beach. We loved it. The hotel staff was nice enough to give us bus directions from Lagos. Breakfast was just ok, and internet access was from libby only, but everything else was perfect. We got a lot for the price at this hotel.

Superbly located hotel literally a stone's throw from the beach! It was previously rated a 3 star and now a 4 star, I can confirm the decoration of the hotel and rooms are excellent, very clean and modern. The room was spacious with a sea view, beds were very comfortable and quiet at night even though it's located on the street next to bars and restaurants, most places close by 11pm...with the exception of a couple of bars. The bathroom has a large walkin rain shower. The hotel has free wifi in reception, not so good in the rooms. Breakfast is a mix of English and continental, both of which are very delicious. There is also a nespresso machine for a good quality coffee to kick start your morning! The staff are friendly and very helpful. The hotel is located near all the shops, restaurants and bars in the town so no need for a car to get around. There is a beautiful coastal walk very close by which is highly recommended. All in all this hotel is a perfect place to stay for a short or long break, I will certainly be back and highly recommend it.

The room I had was tired and the bed was very small, the hotel is being renovated and the new rooms look nice. Staff were friendly but breakfast was very poor. Very central to everything.

Nettes Personal, sehr bemüht. Frühstück extrem einfach. Zimmer unterirdisch. Betten sind einfache Fedekern Matratzen. Hart. Ich habe nicht geschlafen. Gegenüber vom Hotel gibt es ein Pub der bis morgens um vier volle Musikbeschallung und laute Engländer bewirtet. Außerdem Hauptverkehrsstrasse. Wirklich toll der Strand vor der Tür. Sind nach einer Nacht umgezogen ins Tivoli. Super toll hier.

Eigentlich sehr schade eine schlechte Bewertung abzugeben, da dieses Hotel direkt am Dorfplatz , und damit in sehr guter Lage liegt. Aber die Sauberkeit , das fehlende WLAN und ein ,für die heutige Zeit, nicht akzeptables TV Signal, sagen eigentlich schon alles. Zudem ist das Frühstücksbuffett auch nicht von größter Vielfalt. Für Engländer sicher völlig ausreichend, aber nicht jeder mag zum Frühstück warme Bohnen mit Grillwürstchen. Und ausser gekochten-,Spiegel- und Rühreiern , ist leider nicht viel da. Wer aber keine hohen Ansprüche stellt und mit dem lärmenden Hauspersonal zurecht kommt, der hat hier einen zentralen Ort für seinen Urlaub in Cavoeiro gefunden.

Vorweg: Ich habe das Hotel im September für 84 euro gebucht. Zur Lage: Das Hotel liegt fast direkt am strand. Zum hotel: das Caevoeiro Sol gehört zu den Hotels, welche stark in die jahre gekommen sind. Leider typisch für portugal. In deutschland währen das keine 2 sterne. Die zimmer: schimmel im bad, brökelnder putz an der wand, kaputte federkern mattratzen. Das besonders katastrophale ist jedoch , dass einige zimmer nur durch klappgrige holztüren getrennt sind.man hört jedes wort der nachbarn. Fazit: ich kann nur davor warnen hier zu übernachten!!!

Deixa muito a desejar para um 4 estrelas que na realidade é um 3 mas tem indicações de 4 e 3.. Confuso? Também eu... Pequeno almoço muito básico sem muita variedade. Camas horríveis..As molas aleijavam, colchões sujos em que, para em cobrirem as manchas, eram colocadas toalhas por baixo dos lençóis.. Talvez para não termos a sensação de estarmos deitados em cima de uma zebra num safari.. A casa de banho tinha uns azulejos que fediam a mofo, provavelmente devido ao pano que já os limpava a 25 anos ainda não ter sido trocado ou pelo simples facto de não ser arejada de todo.. O isolamento entre quartos não era o melhor pois era possível ouvir, alto e em bom som, as cambalhotas dos vizinhos do lado, e ainda ver pelas gretas existentes nas portas, toda a animação. Quanto a localização, encontra-se bem situado na primeira linha da praia e tem umas boas condições na piscina. Existe tudo à mão não sendo necessário utilizar carro para quase nada.

TV not working properly. Rooms windows were too close to the street, no intimacy. Service was kind Asked for a double bed but two singles instead Breakfast was ok. Location was perfect. Easy to park. The hotel parking was small.

I love this hotel and I love Carvoeiro: great location (the best, best location), includes great breakfasts, which I enjoyed very much, very friendly staff, pool area was excellent and all in all very clean including my room. The only thing that I would recommend is better pillows but I will stay at this hotel every time I visit Carvoeiro. Love this place.

The area is absolutely beautiful. This beach is really busy though but it’s not far to some more quiet beaches. The only frustration we had is with the minimal parking spaces the hotel provides. It was really hard to find an area nearby to put the car and check in and the car park is limited.

Hotel viejo sin Wi-Fi en las habitaciones ni aparcamiento, con muy buena situación. La habitación que nos toco es espantosa, con muebles cutres, muy degradados, rotos y oxidados. La TV solo tiene 3 canales que se puedan ver. Camas muy comodas El cuarto de baño pequeñisimo, con una distribucion diabólica, poquísima iluminación. Tiene el techo totalmente descascarillado, con una bañera sucia, totalmente desadaptada y cortina sacada de una película de terror. La insonorizacion exterior es prácticamente inexistente en plena zona de la movida del pueblo, que dura sta las 5am lo cual casi imposibilita el descanso más elemental. La relación calidad precio es infame y confío en no tener que retornar JAMAS.

I can't recommend staying there. The only thing this hotel has going for it is the location, which is as close to the beach as you can get with little shops and restaurants around. Which also means you might get the full blast of music outside if there is a lot going on. We had a DJ by the beach, so it was quite load. There was no way I would be able to get any sleep before 1am, which was fine as I was quite happy staying up anyway. I also felt it was quite overpriced and quality of anything doesn't seem of much concern to the owner. The rooms are quite horrible and need renovation asap. Felt a bit like staying at a youth hostel. Bathroom looks a bit like it has travelled through time. The hair dryer definitely has and was pretty much useless. Breakfast was ok. Nothing exciting but quite standard / edible. I wish I would have met the staff other reviewers speak very highly of. Unfortunately I had a very bad experience. As I had a car I needed a hotel where I could park. So before I booked the room I called them to ask if they had parking. They said they did, so I made the booking. When I got there, there was no parking available as they only have six small spots. People park as they come and go, so there is no guaranteed parking, which the member of staff failed to mention on the phone. This wouldn't have been so bad, hadn't they been so terribly patronising in person. Telling me, oh well, on the phone was earlier on the day, now it's different. I had also asked them during my online booking if I could have a double bed rather than two separate ones. No one got back to me. I asked again in person. There were none available, which is fine and can happen. But again the tone of voice of the response was very condescending telling me, oh well, that's what you booked, isn't it? We asked if they could fix the beds together so they wouldn't keep moving on the tiled floor (this is standard at other hotels and they can easily do it), which was met with yet another smirk and smart response. I understand not all staff can always be in a super happy mood. But as a guest, I should be able to expect to be treated as such and not talked to like I'm a nuisance. As I am paying for a room, people can at least be friendly and try to be helpful, which wasn't the case here at all. There was no feeling of being welcome. I truly believe that because of the location, they don't care at all, if the rooms are stuck in the 70s and staff is down right rude, because they will always find people to book their rooms anyway. Shame really. Could be such a lovely place to stay. Oh, and the chair on the balcony was broken. Could be a slight health and safety issue there. I will definitely never ever stay there again and really hope they read their reviews and take the feedback into consideration.

Zwar sehr einfach eingerichtet jedoch sehr saubere Zimmer mit täglicher Reinigung. Frühstück einfach jedoch gut und appetitlich. Zu empfehlen sind Zimmer mit Meerblick. Die weiteren Zimmer haben nur einen französischen Balkon, also nichts zum draussen sitzen. Personal in allen Bereichen sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Abend am öffentlichen Platz vor dem Hotel Musik durch DJ oder Musiker bis 24h. Für uns nicht störend. Für Familien mit kleinen Kindern oder Senioren vielleicht ärgerlich. Unsere Bewertung Tip Top, super Preis Leistungsverhältnis, bestimmt wieder!

Great location and great price. That's about it . Facility feels like its stuck somewhere in the 70's no wifi in the rooms but staff was very nice and the location is just the best.

First time I have stayed at Carvoeiro Sol and it wont be the last. Great location, warm and friendly staff. Perhaps a little dated and in need of some refurbishment but apart from this good hotel. Breakfast was also good. The only negative, the English sunbed snappers.The Hotel has signs stating sunbeds cannot be reserved with towels but this did not stop several people, they were out early every morning to claim their beds and also to claim mattresses that were required for other beds. It used to be a supposed German trait but no longer. Management should enforce their ruling.

Para além de todo o conforto e simpatia das equipas, o hotel proporciona estacionamento no local e está inserido no ponto mais central da Vila, a partir de onde podemos alcançar tudo a pé. Carvoeiro está plantado à beira mar, tendo a Praia a pouquíssimos metros.

Hôtel sympathique en basse saison, personnel accueillant et chaleureux. Piscine pratique mais non chauffée. Petit Petit-déjeuner copieux et varié. Cadre magnifique. Promenades le long du littoral en haut des falaises a faire absolument. Points négatifs pour ma part, peu de restaurants avec de la nourriture locale en bord de mer, tout est fait pour la clientèle britannique ou nordique. Il est plus facile de trouver un burger que du plat local. Les prix pratiqués également ne correspondent à ceux pratiqués à Porto ou Lisbonne.

We asked for a quiet room but were allocated a room with doors that opened out onto the swimming pool area. Loungers were a few feet from our door and it was noisy well into the evening. We had absolutely no privacy - we could not even open the doors during the day to allow fresh air into the room and we had no outside space of our own. We were not able to change our room because the hotel was full, so checked out after just one night. The only good point about our experience at this hotel was the breakfast, which was excellent!

Wirklich ein sehr sehr liebevoll eingerichtetes und schönes Hotel! Der neue Eigentümer investiert gerade sehr viel in eine modernere Ausstattung. Das Hotel ist sauber und die Lage ist einfach unvergleichlich, man ist mitten im Kern von Carvoeiro, Balkon mit Meerblick und man kann jeden Abend der Musik und dem Treiben lauschen. Mag für den einen oder anderen vielleicht etwas laut sein, aber wir haben es alle genossen. Und 5 Sterne plus für Oscar, ein ganz lieber Mensch und toller Gastgeber wir kommen gerne wieder

Great hotel in the best location! We had a week here and wished we could have stayed longer. Just outside the front doors is a selection of restaurants, bars and shops, and walk 1 min to your left tou are standing on the beach. We will most definitely be back here again when we next visit Portugal

Lovely place to stay, right next to the beach and town square. Breakfast was very extensive and tasty but the 'hot' food was always cold. Girls at the desk were very helpful but the skinny, older guy was always miserable. Bathroom was very cramped and had no counter space. However, I would still come back.

We enjoyed a one night stay at the hotel before moving to an apartment for a week. For us the hotel was fine but we wouldn’t have wanted to stay longer than one night. Room clean and staff friendly but the noise outside went on until at least midnight and was unbearable. Breakfast was adequate however I don’t think we would return due to the noise levels.

Die Nähe zum Strand ist der einzige Vorteil bei diesem Hotel.Sehr laut in den Zimmern nach vorn und zur Straße zeigend, da die Bar bis nachts 2:00 Uhr geöffnet hat und auf der angrenzenden Bühne bis Mitternacht Musik und Disko gemacht wird.Frühstück jeden Tag das selbe.Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit und auch sehr freundlich und versucht auch Probleme sofort zu beheben.

The location is fabulous, the staff friendly and helpful and Carvoeiro itself is a delight. The hotel has recently been taken over and refurbished but has not lost any of its traditional feel. The pool bar was not open in July which we found strange as it was under the old regime even in October.

No wi-fi in the rooms. Seriously. Breakfast is poor in both quality and quantity. In those two nights I stayed there, I would arrive to find an empty buffet (still 1h before the end of the breakfast time), sit and watch until they eventually refill the table. Even cutlery wasn't readily available. Rooms were too warm and had a strange smell. Since we had no windows, only a door to the pool area, we could only ventilate the room once we arrived at the end of the day. The staff was friendly indeed, and I value that, but this is not what makes an hotel "three stars". Disappointing.

La ubicación es excelente y el personal tambien. El hotel necesita reforma urgente ya que sigue anclado en los 70. Las habitaciones grandes pero las camas son extremadamente duras, no hay forma de descansar. Las cortinas deberían cambiarlas ya que en cuanto amanece entra demasiada luz.

Fantastic beach location. Decent breakfast food selection. The hotel is undergoing a refurbishment at close of season (October 2017) I have seen the interior of the new style rooms and when completed it will be a very stylish boutique hotel.

Rooms are dated and could do with modernizing. Double bed with a very firm mattress. Kettle and small fridge in room which are handy. Breakfast has a good selection if a little cold. Buen hotel a pie de playa, situación inmejorable. Habitaciones algo anticuadas, muy ruidoso, nos tocó una habitación en planta baja con terraza q no podíamos ni abrir puesto que la gente pasaba continuamente por la acera y los cristales ni siquiera eran tintados para que no te vean. 1-No site está classificado como hotel de 4 estrelas e é de 3. 2-Tem poucos empregados para o movimento que tem, apesar de serem bastante simpáticos. 3-Não concebo a ideia de não terem nenhum pessoal de limpeza a partir das 17 horas, quando às 19 horas tive uma inundação na casa de banho e foi o empregado da recepção que me entregou um balde e esfregona para eu limpar.Nos dias que permaneci realmente não vi ninguém a fazer limpeza em nenhum sítio a não ser as limpezas do quarto e tive que pedir a uma empregada um dia para limpar o chão porque senão não o fazia,pois eu estive a ver como foi feita a dita limpeza ao quarto-muito fraca-. 3- Quanto ao pequeno almoço devia ter mais variedade de fruta e algum doce típico do Algarve. Por tudo isto a minha classificação vai para um médio baixo e 5 estrelas quanto à localização

Ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Sehr hübsche Lage in kleiner Bucht umgeben von farbigen Felsen. Ein paar Restaurants mit gutem Essen. Gute Spazierwege. Das Hotel ist ein bisschen hellhörig und mit einem kleinen Badezimmer, bietet jedoch einen Parkplatz, da sonst kaum verfügbar. Die Zimmer sind ok. Der Ort ist sehr schön.

Vi tycker att platsen var fin, nära till hav, promenadstråk, taxi, buss och mysigt med levande musik på torget där samtliga kunde lyssna, dansa eller bara titta på, dessutom kostnadsfritt. Trevligt med gatuuppträdanden också. Mindre positivt var priser på mat, dricka och glass. Trist att det görs mycket reklam för att hyra bil men inte för kommunala färdmedel.

Koselig hotell med en beliggenhet midt i sentrum. Er midt i smørøyet, eneste som var litt klundrete er parkeringplasser men det løste seg greit. Lett å få parket ved 14 -15 tiden.

Auch Anfang Oktober möchte ich bei offenem Fenster schlafen, sonst wird's warm und stickig. Wer dann "Meerblick" gewählt hat, erhält bis drei oder vier oder fünf Uhr nachts kostenlos lautstarke Unterhaltung von der Irischen Bar gegenüber und seinen britischen Gästen.Frühstück ist ziemlich einfach gestrickt, gelinde gesagt.Uns hat es trotzdem gefallen, vor allem wegen der guten Lage inmitten guter Speiselokale und nahe an kleinen Stränden und beeindruckenden Kletterfelsküsten.

Carvoeiro ist ein hübsches kleines Örtchen, das seinen Charme bewart hat.Wir waren nicht das erstemal dort und gewiss nicht das letztemal.

Eines der traditionsreichsten Hotels im Ort. Aufgrund der sehr zentralen Lage und des Angebots eher ein Business-Hotel. In der Nebensaison auch für Urlauberl empfehlenswert. Schöner Blick auf den nahegelegenen Dorfstrand. Lärmbelästigung aufgrund allgemeiner Hellhörigkeit der Zimmer und teilweise abends langanhaltender Geräuschkulisse aus der angrenzenden Gastronomie. Insgesamt positiv.

Nach vorne hin ist es sehr laut, da 4 Strassen direkt dorthin kreuzen. Die Lage ist günstig, alles kann man zu Fuß bewältigen.Die Bäder müßten dringend renoviert werden, der Duschkopf spritzt in mehrere Richtungen, die Wanne beschädigt. Die tägl. Reinigung bestand aus fegen, Betten machen und einmal über die sanitären Objekte mit einem Lappen. Der Fußboden im Bad wurde nicht gewischt und der Staub/die Haare von einer breiten Fuge in die andere gefegt!Das frühstück: der Kaffee schmekte künstlich, das heiße Wasser für Tee nicht heiß genug. Die Auswahl an Brot klein, die Warmhaltebehälter für Eier, Speck mit losen Stahdeckeln, die nicht markiert waren, d.h. jeder Gast mußte mehrmals die Deckel heben, um zu wissen, was drin war. Es war ein Geklappere, und hörte sich wie die Müllabfuhr jeden Tag an!!Der Fußboden im Frühstücksraum war nicht täglich gereinigt (und wenn überhaupt, nur gefegt. Man konnte die Brotkrümmel, usw noch morgens sehen. Es war kein Staubsauger im ganzen Hotel zu sehen, glaube ich.Rezeption sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Internetgebühren zu teuer.

Cet Hôtel bénéficie dun environnement tel quil pense ne rien devoir de plus à sesclients, ni sourire, ni cordialité, ni service basique (wi-fi inconnu), problèmes de plomberie (odeurs nauséabondes partout), qualité des lits médiocres (propreté ?), serviettes de bains déchirées...Ensemble vieillot sans charme, cest dommage car cest au départ une architecture intéressante, avec des installations basiques des années 60 à partir de laquelle on pourrait faire un hôtel très sympathique.Rapport qualité prix médiocre.

Das Hotel ist nicht als 4 Sterne Hotel zu bezeichnen. Lage ist mitten im Ortszentrum von Carvoeiro, wenig Platz an der Outside. Viel Rummel, und nachts viel Lärm durch alkoholisierte Briten. Der Ort ist gelinde gesagt im August überfüllt.

Hotel les pieds dans leau. Quelques soucis de maitenance : lit brinquebalant réparé en 24h, serviettes propres pas toujours disponibles....personnel un peu dépassé... piscine très agréable. Sorties de boîte de nuit un peu bruillante (station de taxi en face de lhotel) Seul hotel dans la crique et non pas sur les hauteurs (dur dur la remontée)
