Nous venons de passer 1 semaine a Carvoeiro hôtel ! Tout a ete parfait! Appartement avec kitchenette et salle de bain impeccable ! Lit tres confortable! Balcon spacieux ! Propreté ! Accueil tout parfait! CARVOEIRO est magique! Endroit tres calme comme nous l'esperions
Nous avons ensuite contacter gettransfert pour se rendre a l aéroport ! Transfert plus que parfait pour 35 euros ,2 personnes et bagages avec monsieur JORGE SANTOS ( important trips) ,le meilleur des chauffeurs de lAlgarve! Ponctuel ! Super agreable! Et meme guide touristique !

+ Personnel très agréable , chambre spacieuse très propre. Proche de la plage de carvoeiro (6 minutes à pied) À proximité de la plage de Benagil (10 min en voiture) de Portimão (16 minutes en voiture)
Grande piscine ( pas profonde)
Cadre relaxant. Ressemble à un petit chalet de plage.
- Il faut absolument prévoir un moyen de transport ( voiture - scooter etc..). Le centre n’est pas loin mais il y a une énorme montée à faire et ce n’est pas toujours plaisant de la faire à pied. Arriver sur place on s´est empressé de louer un véhicule et ça nous a permis de visiter les allentours... ( Portimão - Marinha Beach - Silves - Benagil etc.. )

Appart hôtel bien situé. Grande chambre confortable, personnel sympathique et disponible. Buffet pour le petit déjeuner, extérieur avec piscine agréable.
Seul bémol le bruit du réfrigérateur la nuit....

Sejour d’une semaine du 10.04 au 17.04 accueil parfait, chambre grande et bien équipée !
Le - bien : petit déjeuner les jus sont inbuvables (style BANG poudre )
Enormement de bruits dans l’hotel isolation médiocre (dormir avec boules Kies!) 3 équipes de foot..
Piscine très sympa (eau froide en cette periode donc pas baigné!)
Quelques améliorations a faire coté armoire elle grince beaucoup!
Bien situé par rapport a la plage principale de carvoeiro! On reviendra

Rooms absolutely fine. Pool good.
Small lounge and terrible bar service. Food poor and low standard. Often not very hot and not much choice.
Hotel is about a mile from the town down a very steep hill.
No local bars or shops. Taxis charge 5 euros each way.

Atop a large Hill, this hotel was by far the best wed stayed in. The facilities, room, bar and pool were all good. The hotel is c1km from the town centre, just be prepared for the walk.

FAB is all i can say. Chilling no noise and happy staff. Will stay again without fail. Walk to town good but taxi back is a must unless your fit. 4.5 euro in taxi so ok.

Prima verzorgd hotel. Kamer erg ruim, groot balkon & keukentje alles aanwezig. Zwembad schoon, tuin rondom kon nog wel wat aandacht gebruiken. Met name aan de kant van het kleine gebouwtje achterin de tuin. Ontbijt niet heel gevarieerd, maar wel een erg vriendelijke medewerker!

Claramente um hotel antigo mas a renovação foi uma grande melhoria. Os quartos espaçosos, limpos. A cozinha está funcional e tem o essencial para refeições ligeiras. O colaboradores muito prestáveis e rápidos. O único contra será a localização, apesar de muito perto do centro é necessário ir de carro pois esta no cimo de uma colina com uma inclinação de 10°. Sem dúvida um sitio a voltar.

Some photos online of the rooms did not live up to expectation. The deluxe apartments were standard at best. It could do with an update.Having said that it was very clean,good WiFi, nice pool although a bit small. The staff are lovely,with little English but will get you what you need. The hotel is up a steep hill, we walked down to dinner in the center but had to get a taxi up, it’s only €5. The restaurants are excellent and there’s a great atmosphere down by the beach area every night with DJ’s playing. Carvoeiro is a fabulous place for a holiday, for couples and families.

LO BUENO: Habitación muy amplia y bien iluminada. Baño totalmente reformado con muy buenas calidades. Cama nueva, grande y cómoda. Nivel de ruido aceptable, excepto por la piscina que nos tocó justo en frente. Aire acondicionado correcto. Como cortesía una botella de agua mineral a la entrada.
LO MENOS BUENO: La reforma no fue integral y dejaron atrás pequeños aspectos, que según quien pueden pasar lo estético. No cambiaron puertas ni cerramientos (el de la terraza es demasiado fácil de abrir desde fuera (OJO!!).
Al abrir lo que parecía un armario enorme, nos encontramos una cocina, que si bien no está completamente equipada, puede sacar a alguno del apuro, pero la mini nevera sonaba tanto que la tuvimos que apagar (con el consiguiente charquito de descongelación la mañana siguiente...).
Para quien sea sensible con éstas cosas, hay que reseñar que en lo alto del hotel hay cantidad de ANTENAS DE TELEFONÍA.

Friendly staff, accommodation met most of our needs. Only grumble that despite our booking being for 5 persons there were only 4 beds and we had to ask for a third one to be put in one of the rooms.

Fantastic hotel with great views! We stayed at Carvoeiro Hotel for two nights during our trip to the Algarve and it was the best accommodation during the holiday. We got a lovely huge room at the highest floor with stunning views over the sea, without having specifically booked a sea view (car park side - no disturbance though at all!). The apartment was very spacious and we used the kitchenette to make our own breakfast every day and enjoyed it on the sunny huge terrace. The pool area is also very lovely as there is a lot of green space around the pool with sun loungers to relax on and it generally is very quiet throughout the whole hotel. It's a 10-15 min walk down to Carvoeiro centre, which is very enjoyable as the neighbourhood is quiet with lovely houses and little traffic. Carvoeiro itself is a quaint small seaside town with great walks along the cliffs and a relaxing vibe. We also didn't mind walking back up the hill, we're both young and fit people and have had steeper climbs on holidays. Best to enjoy the view once back up! Staff at the hotel was friendly, the room was clean and tidy. Can absolutely recommend the hotel and will be back here when visiting the Algarve again!

Bett ist super bequem mit kleiner Küche, leider sind die Kochutensilien wie Pfanne etc nicht ganz so sauber- wir haben es lieber nicht benutzt. Von einem 4Sterne Hotel würfe ich außerdem erwarten, dass Handtücher am Pool verteilt werden, man musste sein eigenes mit runter nehmen. Hotel ist auf den Berg, man muss relativ steil den Berg runter um in die Stadt zu den Restaurants zu gelangen.
Bad ist sehr schön und neu, tolle Dusche

Very spacious rooms. Every each of them have small kitchenett which is nice. Without a car don't even try to sleep there, too far and too hilly to the city center. There quite small swimming pool but we haven't tried it.

Super appartement hôtel calme et propre avec une kitchenette .Nous étions au rez de chaussée . Piscine extérieure tout près. Tout était parfait . Bonne literie . Salle de bain moderne .En fin de soirée le bar était ouvert pour prendre un bon petit Porto frais en terrasse . Personnel aimable et professionnel. Je recommande.

Rooms beautiful and bright, lovely lounging area but food very poor and the bar closes very early due to staff shortages even though they live on site ! Also they have ran out of a lot of stock for the bar and snacks during the day is very limited . No buffet on 4 of our first 5 nights

Hotel comodo per esplorare la zona. Carvoeiro piccolo e bello. Personale reception molto freddo e distaccato..quasi infastidito nel salutare. Bagno con perdite d'acqua....manutenzione generale da migliorare, vedi carta da parati staccata in alcuni punti. Senza infamia e senza lode.

Sehr schönes modernes Apartment mit kleiner Küche und schönem Bad. Terrasse mit Tisch und zwei Stühlen. Das Hotel liegt auf einer Anhöhe oberhalb von dem wunderschönen Ort Carvoeiro. Manko des Hotels: Zimmer um 17 Uhr häufig noch nicht fertig, Sauberkeit mittelmäßig. Auf dem Dach des Hotels stehen Funkmasten.

Es ist alt, schmuddelig, ungepflegt. Kaputte Plastik Stühle auf dem Balkon, kein Sonnenschirm abgestoßene Wände, lose Armaturen seit Tagen liegt ne leere Tablettenverpackung auf dem Flur...am Pool viel zu wenig Liegen aber 110 € am Tag ohne Frühstück... übrigens, die Pantri stinkt..

Genoten van ons verblijf in dit fijne hotel! We hadden een hele ruime kamer die dagelijks érg goed werd schoongemaakt. Het personeel was erg attent. Het hotel ligt boven aan een helling, maar het is geen lange wandeling om in het centrum te komen. Mocht je met de taxi willen, dan ben je misschien €4 kwijt. Een auto huren wanneer je in Carvoeiro zit, is ook aan te raden!

Hotel kameralny z nienachalną obsługą. Jedzenie w formie bufetu - bardzo smaczne i obfite (HB+ opcja spełniła nasze oczekiwania).
Pokoje czyste i przestronne z małym aneksem kuchennym (wyposażonym we wszystkie niezbędne narzędzia i przybory kuchenne). Łazenka bez zarzutu.
Mały spokojny basen i piękny ogród to również zalety hotelu.
Do plaży 12 minut spacerem (do plaży z górki), ale piękne uliczki rekompensują odległość.
Polecamy wszystkim to miejsce.

Wij hadden een appartement gekozen. Kamer op het 4e verdiep 402. Daarom hadden we uitzicht op zee. Eigenlijk hebben we een appartement van 4 personen. Kamers en badkamer dik ok.,wifi goed op 4e verdiep. Daartegen keukengerei erg beperkt. Zelfs spaghetti kon je niet maken.pan en vergiet zelf moeten aankopen. Waarschijnlijk om de mensen te ontmoedigen zelf een ontbijt of klein middagmaal te maken . Opgelet hotel ligt op een helling en is niet voor iedereen gemakkelijk toegankelijk.

Hotel is lovely and peaceful staff were all pleasant As others have already said the hotel is at the top of quite a steep hill, approx 1 mile from the centrebut you can get a taxi from the square for 4 eurosPool was lovely, but I would imagine when busy there would be issues due to a lack of sun beds We had breakfast daily it was typical continental breakfast with enough to choose from In studio rooms, kitchen fairly basic, but we only wanted a fridge and kettle, so it was fine for I would definitely recommend hotel as long as you are ok with the hill

Schönes und ruhiges Hotel. Die Zimmer sind groß und modern eingerichtet, der Außenbereich einladend und ruhig und der Strand ist gut zu erreichen (Berg runter, der aber danach auch wieder hochgelaufen werden muss, sofern man kein Fahrzeug hat).
Das Essen ist nicht der Hammer aber durchaus OK.
Auf jeden Fall hervorzuheben ist das sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Personal.
Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Sehr tolles Hotel..! Könnte hier und da mal renoviert werden..! Aber ich denke das kommt noch..! Der Service der Hotel Mitarbeiter war Mega..! Super freundlich und immer aufmerksam..! Und die Lage ist echt gut..!
Zimmer sind sehr gross und das Essen echt in Ordnung. !! Schöner Garten, mit Pool!!

Myself and my husband returned from Portugal yesterday , we choose this hotel based on reviews as it was our first time, the catering service was so poor that a couple argued with the staff as they have stayed in the hotel for 2 weeks and it was the same food cheap pasta, even though we booked for half board but ended up eating out , breakfast we had to beg for omelet. This hotel is Lacking attention to detail; no tea, one bottled water for your entire stay, room service instruction cards and menus in the room etc. Hotel poorly refurbished was a little rough and unfinished around the edges and detail was lacking there too. Room a bit bare and very stripped back windows and doors making a lot of noises that we had to put a card to stop the noise. Breakfast pictures are for the entire guests in the hotel, I will not be staying at the hotel again or recommend it for anyone .

No está mal, y las habitaciones muy bien y grandes pero para ser de 4 estrellas deja mucho que desear. Las camas son bastante incómodas y tienen aspectos muy descuidados. Tienen una pista de tenis completamente destrozada y sucia. En un cartel de el hotel dice que tienen gimnasio, y no lo tienen ya que lo quitaron. Lo mismo pasa con el billar. La verdad que no creo que cueste tanto cambiar el cartel y no crear ilusiones. Personal amable

Excelente hotel si buscas un sitio tranquilo como Carvoeiro. Las habitaciones son enormes, bonitas y bien equipadas, incluso con cocina. Si la habitación da a la piscina como nuestro caso también hay unas bonitas vistas. El personal del hotel también es muy amable y servicial. Sin duda volveremos porque nos queda mucho por descubrir en Algarve.

El check in fue antes del tiempo previsto, la habitación preciosa tras la reforma, salvo la cocina que no ha sido reformada pero esta bien. A pesar del calor que hacía en el exterior en la habitación se estaba muy bien una temperatura ideal y con el aire acondicionado apagado. Un lugar tranquilo.

Just the decoration and finition of the hotel are not well done, you can see this hotel has been there for a while.

Very pleasant staff- especially Felipe in the restaurant and bar. Decent sized bedrooms which did the photos justice.My wife found breakfast disappointing but I found it perfectly fine.Town is a steep hill (down)-- recommend a taxi home after meal.Gym was closed which was a let down for me but aside from that I was very pleased with the overall stay.

Reservamos tres noches en este hotel justo la semana de antes, por lo que la habitación que nos tocó (supongo) fue lo último que quedaba por dar, o eso espero, porque el edificio en sí no está nada mal, tiene piscina, y está situado medianamente bien, pero la habitación que nos tocó se caía a trozos, nada que ver con lo que se ve en las fotos.
Suelo tener una mente positiva y no muy exigente en cuanto a alojamientos. No me gusta hacer críticas negativas, pero no puedo ser benevolente aquí. Las paredes eran de un estuco azul oscuro (techos incluidos pero de gotelé) por lo que era muy oscura, y además contaba con muy pocos puntos de luz, así que las noches eran bastante incómodas, apenas veíamos para cenar. La horrible moqueta, era eso, horrible, a secas... Odio las moquetas, dan una sensación de suciedad, y más si no había luz apenas. El apartamento en sí es amplio, con dos baños, y las camas un tanto incómodas. La cocina es muy pequeñita pero suficiente para pasar unos días y hacerte algo rápido, no cuenta con mucho menaje pero bueno. Cuenta con un balcón grande con una mesa y sillas y además aparcamiento gratuito.
Se nota que están intentando reformarlo por lo que veo en las fotos de otros usuarios, pero hay partes que son totalmente setenteras o al menos esa fue mi experiencia. Cuatro estrellas NO TIENE. Aunque en Portugal las tenga, en España no tendría ni dos.
Necesita una reforma urgente porque hay alojamientos muchísimo mejor al mismo precio.

i stayed in this hotel about 5 years ago and there was not one good thing i could say about my stay. The pool was empty in hot conditions, tennis courts was run down, all playground facilities were warn out and dangerous to the kids, the pool table didnt work meaning we had no entertainment within the hotel.
