Après avoir lu les commentaires de cet hôtel je pensais faire le bon choix.
C'est avec grand regret que j'ai passé des vacances horribles. Les employés ne sont pas aimables, les amenities des chambres sont à peine remplacées et le nettoyage je n'en parle pas. Quant à la nourriture, Mcdonald serait presque meilleur. Bref mise à par la location je n'y retournerais pas . Le prix n'en vaut pas la peine.

Superb location within easy reach of amenities. Friendly staff for whom nothing too much trouble to ensure a fantastic stay. Absolutely wonderful stay and highly recommended.

Well maintained facilities, really helpful staff. Kitchen well stocked for making most dishes yourself. Excellent quality breakfast. Could do with a shop on site. Don't forget your washing up liquid!

Had lovely sea view 2- bedroomed appartment although only 2 of us. Staff were excellent and the food was great. Good pool area with plenty of sun beds. Would certainly stay here again.

Friendly staff. Hotel popular with groups of golfers. If you dont want to be disturbed by noisy outdoor bar area, ask for a room at opposite end of hotel.

Great place, nice pool, big rooms and at walking distance from the beach. however the rooms are old, the space is not well used, not enough power sockets, storage etc... Not well fit with modern travelers.The hotel is being completely remodeled so I guess next year itll be much better

We’ve stayed here 3 times now, but regret to say not again. The location is ideal for golfers but accommodation in need of upgrade/refurb. Overall it’s clean & generally well kept. The staff are very courteous & helpful, the rooms are spacious & have adequately equipped kitchens. Since previous visits the accommodation seems to be catering more for families & for us there were too many noisy infants/kids. Plenty of room for parking, good WiFi & some very good restaurants in the area.

Lugar ideal para ir con la familia. Instalaciones amplias y cómodas. Personal muy amable. Limpieza bien. Desayuno variado. Hay que manejarse con vehículo ya que no hay nada cerca. Pero el apartamento vale la pena.

Personnel très sympa à lécoute pour faire de votre séjour le plus agréable possible.Chambres spacieuses avec lits confortables. Petit déjeuner varié Le menu du restaurant (hors demi penssion) est varié aussi avec des produits fraisBelle et magnifique Plage à 5mnsIl faut prévoir un véhicule pour ceux qui souhaite sortir un peu ou faire quelques courses.Je recommande cet etablissement

I know this hotel for a long time and it was very good. But now ir is closed and they transform it to apartments to sell to people who want it. It is a pity that the management didn't find the right way to run the business....

Ruhige es Haus in Strandnähe mit einem super schönen Pool , außer ordentlich nettem Personal und sehr schönen geräumigen Zimmern. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Für behinderte Menschen sehr zu empfehlen.

Nice but not close to anything except beautiful beach. Can have lots of golf groups. Stag group was very noisy but luckily they were leaving the next day. Flight path of jets taking off from Faro

Very good hotel. Clean rooms, nice little restaurant and spa. Shuttle to local golf clubs and ubers all around (and reception can call taxi) beautiful beach nearby. Not close to shops and city. Very good if you need calm in your life.

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit im Formosa Park Apartment Hotel. Waren jetzt zum zweiten Mal dort und sind wieder nicht enttäuscht worden. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön, der Service ist erstklassig und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist eine eher ruhige Location, Strandnähe circa 10 Minuten zu Fuß

Tres bon hotel, personnel correct, ambiance calme, clientèle en majorité anglophone mais les francophones arriveront quand même à communiquer. La plage n'est pas loin et il ya une vaste réserve naturelle. L'endroit est tres beau et tres agréable. Idéal pour les balades à pied, en vélo ou en voiture que vous pouvez louer dès l'aéroport en ayant réservé sur internet. Nous avons passé une agréable semaine tres reposante avec le soleil en prime.

Very good all-round experience. Breakfasts very nice, especially the pastries. Pool was bracing but the seas a 5 minute walk which was warmer.

Hotel was over booked so didnt have a room on arrival so sent us to their sister hotel which is claimed to be 5star. However, our reason for choosing Formosa park was to enjoy an Apartment, whereas the Dona Filipa was room and breakfast, so we had no self catering availability, and all drinks/food was greatly more expensive, so cost much more to stay than our original plan.

We arrived very late but had a wonderful welcome and had been upgraded to a two bedroom apartment which was enormous, two double bedrooms, two large bathrooms , a huge lounge diner and fitted kitchen. The apartment was spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished. The kitchen was well equipped (no kettle or oven) but we managed well without them. The beds were so comfortable (firm) and the bed linen was top quality. Breakfast was very good and had a wonderful selection to suit all tastes. The nearby beach is only a five minute walk and was practically deserted while we were there , however we were charged 22 euros for the sunbeds just for an afternoon so did not use them again (they are not connected to the hotel). I had read in previous reviews that the hotel is quite remote so booked a hire car and you really do need one as there are no shops close by. I had also read that the hotel is widely used by groups of golfers which it is but that was not a problem. The only disappointment was the apartment we were given only overlooked the back car park and the sun did not shine onto the balcony at any time of the day.

We have just returned from a lovely stay at the hotel. The location is really great being very close to the beach and not too far from the shops. We did hire a car so we could go to some of our favourite locations and there were always plenty of spaces. We were given a room very near to the swimming pool which was very convenient for the children. The rooms are very clean although slightly dated but the kitchen was well equipped. There were always plenty of free sunbeds and parasols throughout the day which takes away a lot of stress and means you can totally relax. The buffet breakfast was very good offering lots of choice. We ate in the restaurant a couple of times which is very good value for money and the service and food was excellent. We were very lucky that we arrived early and our room was ready which meant we got to maximise the time we were there and our holiday got off to a great staff. I thoroughly recommend this hotel and Im sure we will be returning. All in all a wonderful stay.

We perhaps are a little biased, but weve been going to Formosa Park for quite a few years and it ticks all of our boxes! The location is excellent for the beach, but you do need a car to get to the local restaurants, bars etc I think it is worth highlighting the nearby beaches, which are quite honestly amazing, especially first thing in the morning when you will be accompanied by a few other walkers and runners and the sounds of the sea! The pool area is excellent, especially for young families, although our boys are a lot older and they really enjoy it also. We always use a family room and these are always clean and comfortable and have enough room for five people. My final comments are reserved for the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff at Formosa Park. I cannot emphasise enough this last point; it makes your holiday so much more pleasant to deal with staff who consistently are looking after you and are quick to sort out any small problems/concerns that always crop up on holiday. Well done guys: brilliant, as usual!

Very nice staff, room units are generous with space, nice deep pool, super nice food, but this hotel does not have access to the ocean, you need to pay for staying on the beach (extra 22 euros).

Fantastic hotel with spacious apartment rooms , large balconies and a lovely pool. Good choice of breakfast foods. Beds too firm for my liking and very flat pillows but good quality bed linen. Well equipped kitchen except for the lack of a kettle so needed to boil water in a pan. Well situated for golf , shopping and airport.

From the onset, all staff were very welcoming and friendly. We visited in mid October and the hotel was pleasantly not busy. The breakfast was fab, both the environment and staff in the restaurant were excellent. Reception were very accommodating with requests (maybe as hotel was not full).Would definitely recommend to others.

Les chambres sont grandes (beaux volumes) et la cuisine est bien équipée.Par contre un rafraîchissement ne ferait pas de mal et attention à la literie : les matelas sont très durs.Personnel agréable et attentionnéPiscine sympa eau à 23*C, un peu juste quand il y a du vent (séjour début juin)

Nette kleine Hotelanlage in schöner Lage, nicht weit vom schönen weitläufigen Sandstrand entfernt.Gutes und üppiges Frühstücksbuffet.Nettes und bemühtes Personal, sehr aufmerksam.Tolle Umgebung, tolle Strände mit vielen Muscheln und schönem Naturschutzgebiet.Allerdings kräftiger Flugzeuglärm durch Starts vom nahem Flughafen FARO.Mietwagen notwendig, da keine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten direkt in nächster Nähe und auch für Ausflüge Mietwagen sinnvoll.Insgesamt schönes Urlaubsziel, wir kommen sicher einmal wieder nach Portugal

Schöne Appartementanlage, waren dort für 2 Nächte am Ende einer Portugal Rundreise. Anlage, Zimmer, Pool etc. alles ansprechend. Hatten ein sehr großzügiges Appartement. Lage ist etwas abseits, was wir aber als angenehm empfanden. Mietwagen aber dringend erforderlich. Auch der Weg zum Strand ist ohne Auto recht weit.

For the price, the Formosa Park Hotel was excellent value, was clean, quiet, but above all the staff were all lovely and eager to help. It was a little disappointing that, so close to the sea, it didnt actually have sea views (at least not from the ground floor room we had), and it was a tad hard to find arriving after dark through the Algarve coastal sprawl. We would also have had to drive to find any amenities, but we were after a quiet location so that was fine (I dont think it would suit most families). They are just small gripes for a great hotel for anyone seeking to get away from it all rather than wanting bright lights, big city.

Great hotel if you want some peace and quiet. Our apartment was very spacious and had a balcony that overlook the lovely pool area/trees. Staff were very helpful. Only slight disappointment was the food which was ok but not as high a standard as other aspects of the hotel.

Wonderful find. Beautiful pool a distance from the beach. Breakfast buffet very complete. Sadly though not bacon every day, one day bacon next day sausages. Apartment was fantastic and really spacious. Lovely balcony. Very well equipped kitchen. Remember to buy some washing up liquid if you plan on using the kitchen. Toiletries in the bathrooms a bit sparse for quality of the hotel

We were in Portugal for a wedding but decided to travel early and have a break first. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was very good especially the breakfast! The pool area was well kept and because it wasnt too busy it was area sure to spend time there.

Sehr schönes und grosses Apartment. Sehr gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Nach einem kurzen Marsch zu Fuss gelangt man an einen sehr schönen Sandstrand.

Das Hotel ist preiswert und bietet eine gute Ausgangsbasis für Golfer um viele nahe gelegene Golfplätze schnell zu erreichen. Leider liegt es viel zu weit vom Strand weg ( ca. 20 Minuten Gehweg ) um auch für Familien mit Kindern gut zu sein. Immerhin ist ein schöner Pool vorhanden. Ein Mietwagen ist also zwingend erforderlich!Die Appartements sind recht groß und schön. Leider fehlt ein Safe und der TV ist alt und klein. Das Frühstück ist OK, Buffetform mit guter Auswahl. Abendessen gibts erst ab 19.30 Uhr. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit.Weiterempfehlung mit Einschränkungen.

Für den niedrigen Preis war es sehr gut.Die Küche kann man schlecht nutzen, da es in nächster Umgebung keine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt.Zum Strand muss man doch ein ganzes Stück laufen.Hotel ist ruhig gelegen und für Kinder gibt es einen grossen Spielplatz.Gut für Urlauber, die mit Auto anreisen.

It was a great experience. My children were happy and wish to revisit Formosa Park Hotel. I went with my spouse and three children. Spacious rooms, long balcony, clean bed and environment, very close to the beach and fantastic facilities such as fast lift and clean swimming pool. Staff were friendly, speak English and ready to help. The restaurant attendant was very pleasant. Buffet with varieties for breakfast, nice fruits and palatable hot or cold breakfast options. Value for money; will visit again. However, due to the location, it is advisable to hire a car for easy mobility. Otherwise, taxis could be expensive to get out and back to the hotel.

Deuxième annèe et je rétournerait. Belle structure propre clean, appartement très grandes. Personel très gentile toujour a suivre les exigenges des clients. Petit déjeuner complet fraiche et de bonne qualitè avec toujour de la quantite belle piscine.Nettoyage de la chambre toutes les jours, tres bon compromis prix qualitè.

This hotel room was full of crawling ants when we approached the front desk we were given a tin of raid ,not good enough ,Fantastic breakfast ,Broadband expensive 17 euro per day , no hourly charge or any other rate . The hotel is a taxi ride to anywhere. But if you need a taxi call your self because the company the hotel use is almost twice the price of a radio taxi . room facilities quite good room linen changed daily . some ratings 4 star some ratings 1 some ratings a big zero

Sehr schönes, ruhig gelegenes, Hotel, welches ich nur wärmstens empfehlen kann. Hervorzuheben ist das sehr gute Frühstücksbuffet und das wirklich außergewöhnlich freundliche Personal. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Der Strand (toller Sandstrand) ist in 10 Minuten zu erreichen und nicht überlaufen. Alle Außenanlagen (Pool, Kinderspielplatz etc.) sind in einem sehr gepflegten Zustand.Empfehlenswert, wenn man nicht alle Tage nur an Strand oder Pool verbringen möchte, ist auf jeden Fall ein Mietwagen.

Très beau site, personnel très souriant et aimable. Petit déjeuner agréable et de bonne qualité. Télévision cathodique très petit écran très mauvaise qualité dimage et de son. Internet non inclu et scandaleusement cher. Il ne sagit pas là de prestation 4 étoiles. Hotel bruyant.

Les chambres très propres et confortables, idéal pour les familles.Bien équipes.La plage a quelques mètres a travers la foret de pins maritimes, un vrai plaisir.Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable. A recommander.
