Beau camping, très calme, propriétaire sympa, mais quelques points négatifs tout de même. Le sol rouge était très poussiéreux, toujours en train de nettoyer. L'eau froide était imbuvable tellement elle était chaude. La cause se sont les tuyauteries, elles sont en plein soleil. Pour le reste tout a été parfait.

Un camping ubicado en un entorno natural fantástico cerca de Silves. Buenas vistas, baños limpios y duchas con agua caliente... no necesitamos nada mas. Bueno si, su dueño permite que cojas los frutos de los árboles que hay en el camping.

Au flanc d'une colline vers Silves Falacho. J'y suis seulement passée. Emplacement camping car en face de la rade de la rivière Arcade traversant Silves, très joli. Doux rêves au calme, accès au bout d'un chemin assez étroit mais franchissable par C.C. bien-sûr. Je verrai pour l'hiver prochain.

Rustige kleinschalige camping met een mooi uitzicht over de vallei en rivier. Vriendelijke eigenaar, zeer net onderhouden sanitaire voorzieningen. Voor camper en 1 persoon ( zonder elektriciteit ) 7€ per nacht. Silves op ong. 3km van camping en met de fiets perfect te doen. Zeer waardig alternatief voor de op elkaar gepropt camperstaanplekken van Silves. Een aanrader.

Nice and quiet. It's worth the view and tranquillity to go up to one of the higher campsites if your car can handle it. The owner is a very friendly and helpful Portuguese/Canadian. It is small but has all the basic needs including a washing machine. What I understood is that some people choose to stay here for several months and I can understand why.

Zeer basic camping. Mooi uitzicht op rivier en wetlands met honderden ooievaars en een aantal flamingos. Heel aardige eigenaar Nelson die uitstekend Engels spreekt. Goede gratis WiFi. Toegangsweg onverhard maar goed te doen wel een paar smalle punten. Laatste stuk naar de camping redelijk steil omhoog maar goed betonpad. Sanitair schoon en de staanplekken hebben grind.

A wonderful place tranquil, not far from town . Wonderful views over the river Lagos 20 minutes away beaches 30 minutes

Very calm and clean camp. Great showers with hot water and big space, clean toilets. Amazingly welcoming "receptionist". Fruit trees(figs and oranges), and FREE WiFi which range reaches to tents. Great view from campsite to river and surrounding country. Snack bar not far.

Camping super tranquilo, muy limpio y con excelentes vistas. A 20min de todas las playas chulas de algarve o de Monchique. Falta un poco de sombra y en verano hay que llevar repelente de mosquitos...pero es realmente paradisiaco y muy barato.

Supercamping, rustique mais bien entretenu et propre ! Patron super sympa, et resto-bar au bord de la rivière qui fait des cocktails paradisiaques

Beautiful campsite off the beaten track, yet conveniently close to Silves - very clean and calm. Nelson, the owner, is incredibly welcoming and friendly. Loved our 3 days here and would love to enjoy the "penthouse" with the amazing view again soon!

Simple,friendly peaceful campsite that's off the beaten track. If you want views, peace,simplicity and friendly faces then this place is difficult to beat! If you want caravan club standards then this won't be for you. As far as I am concerned that makes it even more attractive! The owners and helpers are always always very helpful and the site and facilities are always clean.Depending on occasional selfish users the showers are normally warm snd strong. All in all this place is close to paradise for us. Silves is nearby and is lovely historic unspoilt historic town.I find the site a very difficult place to leave

Rustige camping met het beste uitzicht van Portugal! Het sanitair wordt super goed bijgehouden en beschikt over hele ruime douches en wc’s. De camping ligt ideaal voor uitstapjes in de Algarve. Tot slot is ook de camping eigenaar super vriendelijk en dat maakt het sfeervol en compleet. Via deze weg nogmaals voor een prachtige week!

Very friendly owners. The bathroom/shower facilities are very clean - the women's side is even almost finished being renovated. We were in a tent by the river in the comfortable grass with a bit of shade from the trees - though the owner claimed mosquitoes, we didn't have any. Up above, the ground is flat, but gravelly, though at night a beautiful view of stars in the sky and Silves lit-up. There's also a pretty view from the river, either of Silves itself upriver, or with a little hike in the opposite direction, you can see the sunsets and/or the edge of Portimao. It seems a bit out of the way from the main road, but from there you're already in SIlves within 5 min. Though we didn't try any of them there's a bar, pool and canoe rentals available too.

Molto bello , vale la pena solo per la vista al mattino. Il posto è lontano dalla folla turistica tipica dell'Algarve, quindi è parecchio tranquillo. Consigliato.

Absolutely fabulous small-scale, more authentic style campsite with a very friendly and helpful owner. Plots are dispersed over various levels on the hillside, so that even if the place was full you'd maintain privacy and peace. That said, this was my second visit in August, when many campsites are rammed and it was very quiet. Clean service block with hot water, two toilets and showers in the ladies, plus sinks for washing up and even washing machines should you need them. Zero road noise. Excellent river chiringuito at the bottom of the campsite which also has a pool to cool off on the hotter days. 100% recommendable, hope to be back soon!

Lieu mal indiqué. Perdu dans les champs mais camping qui sort des sentiers battus.beau point de vue sur rivière et sur la ville. Gérant très aimable et très serviable. Sanitaire correct il y a tout se qui faut sans chichi pon pon.

A great little site in the hills outside Silves. Clean showers, toilets & washing machine facilities are available. There's also a bar/restaurant that I believe is fantastic. My only concern was the mosquitos as they're there all day & night due to the proximity to the river & wetland. We stayed 2 nights & I got 12 bites!!

Pequeño camping situado junto al río. Servicio limpios, aunque justos. Unas vistas impresionantes de la rivera y de las aves. Eso si, en cuanto cae el sol los mosquitos te cuecen a picotazos. El dueño todo un personaje (en el buen sentido). Si no hay sitio te lo hace aunque sea en el camino

Questo campeggio immerso nella natura e affacciato sul fiume offre l'opportunità di sfuggire al caos del turismo di massa dell'Algarve dell'est. La struttura è semplice e spartana, ma offre tutti i servizi indispensabili, c'è anche un bar molto accogliente e dai prezzi contenuti. Le piazzole sono ampie e dislocate su più terrazzamenti, che offrono molta privacy. Il gestore è stato molto gentile e disponibile. Tornerei sicuramente!

Un pequeño camping rural sin lujos situado en un bonito lugar a lado de río Arade muy cerca de Silves. Un lugar perfecto para los que buscan pasar unos días en la naturaleza o dormir en un lugar tranquilo mientras visita Algarve. Camping pequeño pero tiene lo necesario como unos baños limpios, lavadora, un entorno precioso con río y muchas aves en plena naturaleza, un dueño muy amable, WiFi que llega a cualquier lugar del camping, pueblo de Silves a 5min, playas de Lagoa o Portimao a 20 min. Árboles frutales con fruta de temporada, un club náutico con snack bar donde se puede tomar café, cerveza o comer muy muy bien o usar su piscina por 2.5eur. En definirán un lugar genial con ganas de volver. Eso sí no olvidarse de antimosquitos

Not by accident called ‚paradise‘ ... away from the traffic on the beaches, really fabulous view on the river. Super friendly owner. Definitely a strong recommendation.

Schöner ursprünglicher Campingplatz. Sehr saubere Sanitäranlagen, netter Besitzer. Ca 25 min zu Stränden, ca 5 Minuten zum Intermarche oder Lidl in Silves. Unterhalb liegt eine Beach Bar mit sehr sehr gutem Essen!! :) eines der besten Campingplätze in Portugal

Precioso camping cerca del río, el dueño muy simpático. La única pega son los mosquitos. además hay un club nautico que tiene una pequeña piscina (2.5€) y unas vistas espectaculares donde se ven aves y naturaleza. Recomendado. Volveremos.

Un camping sense luxes, net i arreglat. Amb unes vistes fantàstiques i amb un gerent, Nelson, que és un home supercompetent. Tornaré, que és una acció que no farè en d'altres campings del Algarve portugués.

Camping très calme, à l'abri du tumulte et pourtant près de la ville, sanitaires très propres, merci à Nelson pour son accueil et sa gentillesse.

Nelson (the host) Hooked us up! Literally. When we arrived, we were ahead of the others who arrived and Nelson had us set up in the pitch furthest from the electrical hookup and used his own cord to run to ours so we could have an unobstructed view of the valley and river below. The bathrooms are quaint and clean. The showers worked great. The clean up area is also clean and works well. The area where we were had level pitches. The best part, in our opinion, is the snack bar/beach club down below. We wandered down from our campsite wondering where all the laughter was coming from and found a super cool bar. We prefer off the beaten track/locals type places and this was right up our alley. The google directions work great to find the place. The dirt road didn't seem all that narrow after all the narrow village roads we had just traversed in Portugal, but could potentially be a problem for a larger motorhome - we had an Indie Camper Van it was no problem getting there at all. From one fellow Canadian to another, Thanks Nelson!

Super spot! With amazing view on Silves. Short drive over dirt road, but easily done, even with a small rental Toyota Yaris!

Een heerlijk rustige camping met net die voorzieningen die nodig zijn, maar schoon. Echt een fantastisch uitzicht.

Site is off the beaten track but only four kilometres from Silves. It has level pitches, hot showers and clean toilets. The Clube Nautico, just below the site, is a lovely simple bar and restaurant providing Portuguese style food together with some spicier options. (Check the opening times). If you are looking for a quiet site away from the bustle of the coast this could be the place for you.

Unusually great spot. Beautiful views, peaceful, surrounded by delicious fruit trees. Friendly and helpful owners. The showers are great, and they have a washing machine. My only complaint is their prices are too low and I'm worried there will be too many people here next time I come.

Zeer leuke en rustige camping weg van de drukte van Algarve. Verder is de camping zeer leuk gelegen tegen de rivier maar geen last van muggen en niet duur (wij betaalden ca. 12 euro voor 2 personen, kleine tent en een wagen)

Toller kleiner Campingplatz auf einer ehemaligen Orangenplantage mit Blick auf den Fluss Arade und die Stadt Silves. Orangen und Zitronen zum selber pflücken. Nette hilfsbereite Besitzer.

Such a nice site, 2nd time here in a month. Lovely vibe and owners are nice people. Toilets clean and tidy but sometimes the water is not hot in the shower? Pick your time and shower's are lovely. No complaints. We will be back

Beautiful location, friendly atmosphere. No frills but if that's what you are looking for then it's perfect.

Schöner Campingplatz in den Bergen mit schönem Blick auf Silves. Sanitär gut. Terassenförmig angelegte Stellplätze. Etwas anspruchsvolle Anfahrt über Schotterstraße. Im letzten Teil ansteigend. Für größere Mobile nicht so gut geeignet bzw. grenzwertig.
