Única coisa boa é a cerveja. Risolis de camarão tinha somente um mini camarão dentro, e não estava limpo. O arroz de polvo estava horrível, mais parecia uma sopa aguada e sem gosto... estava mais para um carreteiro de linguiça. Não recomendo.

Really good view, and service. However, it was probably the lamest food we had in Portugal.
It is not bad food, it just tasteless, big chunks of veggies and pasta.
They can do better.
The gazpacho was good tho.
I’d go only for ice cream, or drinks.

We ordered a codfish which camed burned out. Also the fish smelled like not fresh. The prawns were not cleaned out. Also, the service was extremely unpleasant. Hard to comunicate to - but it wasn't the language barrier. The service didn't care. It was the bald old drunk guy. He made me feel bad there. Don't recommend. On the day after we ate in the restaurant next to that one. It is so much better!

Though highly touted as a culinary destination Antonio misses the mark by a long shot. The bread came with cheese in a pre packaged plastic container and sardine paste in a can. The monkfish rice, while hearty, was totally bland and shrimp not deveined. The garlic clams were passable. The service, while attentive, was somewhat confounding since we sat in the back next to the plastic covered pasteries while the gorgeous ocean front terrace remained sparsely populated. Finally, for Portugal, at this low quality the prices were frankly outrageous. Spend your hard-earned money somewhere else.

Hezké místo, jidlo nám bohužel moc nechutnalo. V menu mají chybičky. Pletou si překlad prawn=krab. I přes cílený dotaz zda se jedna o kraba nebo krevety a ujištění že samozřejmě krab, přinesli krevety. Výhrady jsme měli i k náladě části obsluhy.

Pelo que conheço em mais de 20 anos de férias em Lagos é para mim o melhor restaurante em Lagos.
Excelente marisco, excelente cozinha acompanhado por um serviço cuidado, atencioso e sempre simpático.
Recomendo a marcação de mesa.

Sehr schöne Aussicht direkt von der Terasse auf den Ozean. Das Essen hat leider nicht unserem Geschmack entsprochen. Es gibt viel bessere Restaurants in der Umgebung.

Wir können über das Essen nichts sagen. Es war mittags noch ziemlich leer und wir wurden total ignoriert. Ein Kellner kümmerte sich um eine Familie, die nach uns gekommen ist, zwei Andere guckten lieber auf ihr Smartphone. Wir sind nach 15 Minuten gegangen.

very good food and wine at a reasonable price, the staff here are very kind and helpful. Definitely a resraurant u need to go. DO make a reservation in advance if u want to sit by the window and enjoy the fantastic sunset and ocean views.

Schöne Aussicht, aber essen sollte man hier lieber nicht.
Wir waren zum frühen Abendessen dort und hatten Fisch bestellt. Mein Schwertfisch war unterirdisch. Er war total trocken, lauwarm und schmeckte leicht tranig. Mein Freund hatte Seeteufel Kebab (eine Spezialität des Hauses lt. Karte). Einige Stücke von seinem Fisch waren okay, andere ebenfalls sehr trocken.
Beim Abräumen habe ich dem Kellner gesagt, dass mein Fisch leider nicht frisch schmeckte und auch nicht gut zubereitet war. Seine erste Frage daraufhin lautete, ob ich den Kellner bei der Bestellung nicht gefragt habe, ob der Fisch frisch sei. Schwertfisch gebe es in Portugal nicht frisch, sondern nur tiefgefroren. Interessant, ich habe in einem anderen Lokal in diesem Urlaub bereits sehr leckeren Schwertfisch gegessen, das habe ich ihm dann auch gesagt. Als er mit der Rechnung kam (ich musste trotz der minderwertigen Qualität den vollen Preis zahlen), hat er erneut gesagt, es täte ihm leid, aber ich hätte mir einen anderen Fisch empfehlen lassen sollen. Ich habe ihm daraufhin gesagt, dass es aus meiner Sicht sehr schlechter Stil ist, ein solches Essen zu berechnen und mir auch noch zu verstehen zu geben, dass es meine Schuld sei, weil ich nicht explizit frischen Fisch bestellt habe.
Hier werden Qualität und Kundenservice leider ganz ganz klein geschrieben. Wir gehen beim nächsten Mal lieber wieder zur Konkurrenz gegenüber (Campimar), da schmeckt es und das Personal ist freundlich.

Fab setting with great views over the sea .the place is always full which is a good sign and food of a high quality especially the fish .which is fresh with a god variety each day .we eat here for lunch four times in a week .its that good .

The place next to the beach is nice, but the stuff is unwelcoming and some of them are grumpy. We had to wait more than 15 min to get the menus and at least order the drinks. The food was just ok.

De locatie en het gebouw zelf waren zeer goed. Ook het eten was niet teleurstellend, al had het misschien net wat beter gekund. Voor de rest hebben wij wel genoten van het avondeten hier.

Board outside advertising pizzas so thought I would try one, told by the waiter that they are frozen and not good. Firstly why have them and secondly how hard is it to make a pizza? So I thought I'd try the burger. Terrible choice!!!! 2 cheap burgers on a plate with a fried egg in top, no bun, no cheese, no salad, no sauce (apart from the mayo and ketchup bottles they threw at me like I was an insignificant child), they might as well given me some crayons and a colouring book. I couldn't eat it and they did take off the bill and everyone else food was ok, not great but ok.

L'endroit semble paradisiaque mais on a été tellement mal accueilli, les menus jetés sur la table , pas un mot, pas un sourire , qu'on est reparti aussitôt, sans manger. Très mauvaise image du Portugal. Il n'avait même pas l'excuse du monde, le restaurant était à moitié vide.

Unwelcoming. Even though there were plenty of unreversed seats they wanted to seat us out of the way. Food was poor and pre-made, possibly packet food. Waiter mentioned being unable to alter due to being ‘ready made’. Glass tasted of chemicals and came with some kind of slime on the outside.
I would you suggest avoid.

My wife and I have been traveling Portugal for three weeks. Out of all the restaurants we have been to, Jack from O Antónios in Lagos, has given us the best experience by far. The seafood is absolutely amazing and so fresh. The service is 5 stars and the view is priceless. On the outside terrace, you are literally right on the beach. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! We will come back again

Finalmente siamo riusciti a cenare in questo ristorante sulla spiaggia dopo essere stati rimbalzati più volte per non aver prenotato!! L'accoglienza non è stata delle migliori; il cameriere che ci ha accolto la prima volta, è stato molto scortese e indisponente. Se non prenoti ti cacciano via in malo modo. Siamo ritornati con la prenotazione e devo dire che il nostro giudizio sui camerieri rimane tale alla prima volta: poco professionali, persino maleducati (mentre ordini parlano con altri), non ti ascoltano, non ti consigliano, sempre di fretta: meno male che tutti i loro piatti sono buonissimi.
Comunque non ci ritornerei.
Lascio spazio alle persone simili a loro.
Noi con il nostro sorriso e la nostra buona educazione non ce lo meritiamo.
Cinque stelle per i piatti e zero per il servizio!!!!

Seit vielen Jahren mein Favorit in Lagos. Wenn man seaside sitzt, hat man einen tollen Meerblick (vor allem abends ist es schön, in die Dämmerung zu sehen).
Sehr gutes Essen, vor allem Fisch. Gute Weine. Alles für örtliche Verhältnisse nicht ganz billig, aber preiswert (und im Vergleich zu Deutschland sehr günstig).
Absolut zu empfehlen!

Went here with my girlfriend for lunch. Ocean views were good, but the food is terrible and we were made to feel unwelcome from the minute we stepped in. The waiter showed no interest in seating us, welcoming us or taking our order. I ordered fish (average), my girlfriend a pizza (which was a frozen supermarket job, and awful). The waiter seated two couples near us in the time we were there and tried to make jokes, but was clearly just making people feel embarrassed and uncomfortable. The other beach place about 100m away is better.

Zamówiliśmy z polecenia od kelnera dwa dania ceny około 10-15 euro porcje duże a ryby świeżę. Nie jest to restauracja wykwitna ale smak potraw bardzo dobry a ceny przystępne. Wiele razy rozczarowaliśmy się w Portugalii z jedzeniem w drogich restauracjach a tutaj jest naprawdę okej. Trafiliśmy tutaj z polecenia recepcji hotelu. Polecamy na szybki posiłek z pięknym widokiem ;-)

Pech gehabt? Leider lange auf das Essen gewartet, obwohl das Lokal nur 2/3 gefüllt war.
Der Nebentisch mit portugiesischem Don Patron kam nach uns, war aber fertig bevor wir unser Essen bekamen☹️.
Das Essen meiner Frau (Dorade) war recht trocken, schade. Gemüse und Kartoffeln mit wenig Geschmack .
Meines (Schwein Alentejano) sehr reichhaltig, aber eben auch zu lange gegart.
Bedienung selbst aber top .

Gostei muito do restaurante, especialmente sua localização. A comida estava saborosa e bem servida, mas nada que venha a ser lembrado como experiência inesquecível. O atendimento é cordial e o serviço bem organizado e limpo, diferente dos restaurantes de praia improvisados dos quais nos acostumamos no Brasil (nada contra também...).
Passe o dia na bela Porto de Mós e fique tranquilo pra escolher este restaurante.

O serviço/comida já foram bastante melhores do que agora. Fomos atendidos por um senhor sem o mínimo jeito para restauração. A comida nem por sombras se parece com a última que tinha comido o ano passado (cozinheira nova??). Preocupou-me virem à mesa perguntar se o bife de porco era "bem ou mal passado" (???) O serviço decaiu muito. É pena. Já foi um bom restaurante.

Samstags Abend essen gehen und nicht reserviert haben? Sehr mutig! Aber im Antonio haben wir zum Sonnenuntergang noch einen Platz an einem reservierten Tisch bekommen. Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen ist sehr gut und reichlich. Blick und Atmosphäre tragen zu einer romantischen Stimmung bei!

Very unfriendly reception. They ignore you for a long time even if they have nothing to do. Then they are short with you and generally unfriendly. Almost laugh when you ask for a table without reservation (early in the evening). The attitude is unacceptable. This happened twice. Not coming back.

Great food, good service, lovely view from the resturant windows. The place was clean and for tastes delicious! Massive Portion sizes for the food and cooked perfectly.
Sangria is lovely and also made with lots of lovely fruit.

Great views, we ordered fish fillets and the fried shrimp that were very good. Make sure to book a reservation specially if you want to enjoy the view from the tables near the window. They were fully booked when we arrived.

We tried to reserve a table but no one picked up the phone. So we went to the restaurant and reserved a table for the evening. We got a table with a wonderful vie on the sea. Unkucky the seats werent as comfortable as expected. The quality and price of the food were ok. The waiters are friendly and nearly everyone knows to speak english. Overall I expected a bit more.

Em cima da praia, com ambiente acolhedor e familiar, os pratos são ótimos, bem confecionados e abundantes. O arroz de tamboril é divinal, os filetes de pescada são deliciosos, o peixe é escolhido na hora, fresco e confiável, o atendimento é rápido e simpático, sempre supervisionado pelo Pedro, atento a todos e a tudo, mas despercebido ao olhar mais desatento. Uma ótima escolha para um almoço ou jantar com o mar a "falar connosco".

Gorgeous location right next to the beach with great views of the cliffs. Unfortunately the service was rather terrible. We've dealt with 5 waiters that weren't in any hurry to serve you. When we arrived we've been told to take a seat next to the terrace to wait for a table to become available and that he will be back to seat us. He never came back although tables became available. A second one asked us if we were waiting for a table and then he left. A third one finally let us take a seat after we asked him if we can have the free table. We've had to ask the forth one for a menu and another one for the bill. All in all we waited 50 minutes to get a menu and order. The food was alright although nothing special.

Já lá vai o tempo em que este restaurante era acessível, seja de simpatia ou da política do restaurante. As 12:00 de uma 3a feira de Agosto, foi recusada a permanência de um senhor de cadeira de rodas por “haver muitas reservas”, mesmo estando a sala do restaurante vazia. A atitude foi descriminatoria dado que se sentaram outras pessoas sem reserva, e o pessoal mostrou-se indisponível e altivo. Estando o restaurante situado na praia de Porto de Mós, praia acessível esperava-se uma atitude diferente. Valeu-nos que há mais restaurantes na praia, com uma atitude e aceitação bem diferentes. Este restaurante deixou de ser referência.

Great place to have fresh fish/seafood.
It's right on the beach, if you book your place 3/4 days in advance, you can get a seat right at the window with the view to the beach (if you just want the food and can sit inside, then 1 day in advance should be enough).
The staff is very nice and friendly.
All in all, highly recommend it.

I really think even one star is generous here. I cannot believe this place has 4 stars on google, anyone who rated it highly must either have absolutely no taste in food or have been paid to write something good. The food was so so awful, probably the worst meal I've ever had. So bland, so overcooked, such a waste of seafood, such a waste of such a location. It was shockingly bad, from the pizza to the monkfish. Everything we ordered had no flavour, was terribly cooked and prepared and had disgusting sides. I strongly urge you NOT to eat here.

A atitude discriminatória adotada por uma funcionária a três crianças, duas delas adolescentes que, ao terem terminado de consumir, foram convidados a sair da mesa, alegadamente porque estavam pessoas à espera. Elas esperaram pela sua vez e nem por isso os anteriores clientes sofreram o mesmo tipo de tratamento. Isso dava-lhes o direito de as expôr à humilhação por serem um 'elo mais fraco"? O exemplo que deram às crianças e o desrespeito por elas serem crianças, imprime uma má prática a um restaurante com reputação. Muito mau.

Por recomendación, mi mujer y yo llegamos a la 13.00h (hora local) a tratar de coger mesa porque por no cogían el teléfono para hacer reservas. Al llegar le pregunté a uno de los camareros (un hombre mayor) por una mesa para 2. Con varias mesas vacías y carteles de "reservado" en ellas, me contestó que debía ir por otra puerta para que me atendieran, cuando ni siquiera tenían cola de espera. Amablemente fui por la otra puerta y allí no había nadie, con lo que pasé adentro del restaurante y me atendió el mismo señor, que me llevó de nuevo hasta la puerta para, una vez allí, decirme que desde la 13.00h hasta las 16.00h no había ninguna mesa y que tenían mucho trabajo.
Decidimos marcharnos. Al salir vimos como la pareja portuguesa que llegó después se sentó nada más llegar.

Mis à part le poisson et les fruits de mer tous est surgelés (à l'intérieur, vous pouvez voir les "vitrines" avec fruits et dessert surgelés). Mon père a mis trouver un morceau de plastique dans son assiette. La vue est imprenable si vous avez la chance d'être placé dehors malheureusement ce ne fut pas notre cas. Le seul point positif est le serveur qui parle français.

Restaurant surcoté. Outre les fruits de mer et le poisson, tout le reste est surgelé y compris les fruits (a l'intérieur vous pouvez voir les vitrines avec les desserts et fruits congelés notamment). Service extrêmement lent, le plat de ma mère étant même oublié. Prix cher pour ce que c'est. Sinon la vue est imprenable, quand on est placés dehors, ce qui ne fut pas notre cas. Point positif, serveurs parlant français.

Localização privilegiada, ambiente aconchegante, embora com a demanda de verão, se chegar cedo e conseguir mesa é válido. Atendimento meio corriqueiro devido à lotação, em relação ao prato, no meu caso pedi um bife (ao molho de pimenta preta), não imaginava que viria mal passado (mesmo pedindo bem passado), compreensivo devido o tamanho do bife e sua espessura talvez não teria como ficar bem passado mesmo, a carne em si de boa qualidade, mas eu pessoalmente não gostei da combinação de pimentas pretas (grande quantidade literalmente os grãos da pimenta) sobre o molho do bife, deixando o sabor muito acentuado “roubando o tempero do molho”, mas em fim: questão de paladar é totalmente pessoal. Comida cada pessoa pode avaliar a seu modo. Gostaria de agradecer a atenção do brasileiro Paulista que prepara os drinks, muito simpático e cordial, nos explicou muitas coisas e deu dicas legais. No mais, voltaremos com certeza e se possível fora da temporada para aproveitarmos o que há de melhor!

Nachdem wir zum ersten mal da gegessen haben und das Essen als Ok empfanden, wollten wir dem Lokal noch eine 2. Chance geben da wir 19 Tage vor Ort sind und hofften öfters hier zu essen. Aber beim 2. Anlauf entpuppte sich unser Besuch als Riesenenttäuschung. Wir hatten die späzialität des Hauses... arroz do Polpo ... auweia... Und Sole, angeblich gegrillt ... ojee ... schade um unsere Bedienung, älterer Herr der noch stolz im Fach kennt und mit uns gefühlt hat. Hatt uns sogar ein Essen von der Rechnung abgezogen. Schande um den Küchenchef, der hat offensichtlich den Beruf verfehlt.

Food was really poor. I had a sword fish steak, which was tough and bland, no condiments, no marinade, nothing. My wife had chicken peri peri, which was also tough, and tasted old and rancid. It was probably all deep-frozen, and/or leftovers from the day before.
The sides were like eating at a Wetherspoon's - nothing wrong with Wetherspoon's, but it's not what you go to a restaurant in Portugal for.
Might be alright for a drink, to enjoy the view. But I certainly wouldn't come back for the food.

Alguma simpatia e a sapateira e as lulinhas estavam boas mas o arroz de polvo não tinha sal ou sabor o arroz de tomate que supostamente é feito na hora estava seco o tamboril estava insípido e o frango assado não prestava. As lulas a sevilhana estavam moles em vez de crocantes. Como era um restaurante de referência para mim porque já o frequento á muitos anos e tudo é sempre muito bom questionei se tinham mudado o pessoal da cozinha. A resposta foi que a cozinheira às sextas-feiras está de folga e é a patroa que desenrasca a cozinha. Por favor não deixem porque é um desastre total

A star for the friendly service and the view, the only things that made this experience bearable as the fish was a dissapointment for a restaurant in the Algarve. Tuna steak that came with a prawn were both beyond overcooked and really salty. I did not know the meaning of overcooked shellfish until I tasted that. Husband’s swordfish the same. Hope this is a singular case as they were a recommendation.

Dieses Lokal liegt genau an Strand, Blick zum Meer durch eine Glasscheibe,dadurch auch windgeschützt,Abends ein Traum wenn der Mond scheint.
Bedienung sehr freundlich, sprechen Englisch und Portugiesisch.
Die Gerichte sind sehr gut, teilweise puristisch aber dadurch eben auch Landestüpisch.Fisch immer frisch und gut gemacht, preislich haben die Portugiesen angezogen.

해변의 풍경을 바라보며 식사할 수 있는곳. 해물밥과 아귀꼬치구이를 주문하였다. 처음에는 좀 싱겁다고 생각했는데, 그동안 유럽의 짠음식 때문에 그렇게 느껴졌던 것이었고, 먹다보니 삼삼하니 괜찮았다. 음식 나오는 속도도 괜찮았고, 종업원 부를때 반응속도도 빨랐다.

Beautiful setting with huge portions of food and friendly staff. Antonio's was a great place to take young children and it is literally on the beach.
All of the seafood is very fresh with the option to pick your own live crustaceans and the menu had plenty of variety. There's even a good amount of free parking right outside.
The prices were very reasonable by British standards, though I'm not sure how this stacks up against other restaurants in Portugal but it worked out to €34 a head for 8 adults and 2 children fire two courses and drinks!
Give it a go.

Beautiful location, very clean. However, the staff seem grumpy... the shrimp cocktail seems canned, grey and was soggy and was also hiding under the sauce. Calamari is over battered and feels like biting into an elastic band. We didn’t eat it, and the servers didn’t ask why. The kids did enjoy the French fries.

Great sea views overlooking the beach make this place a bit special. We had lunch which was very good. Fish dishes were outstanding. Excellent service which was tough as it was busy. Worth the walk or drive out from Lagos for sure.

le coup d'oeil est fantastique, avec un peu de chance vous verrez les dauphins sauter hors de l'océan.
Le service est vraiment désastreux. Nous avions réservé pour une cataplana de poissons, une fois installés à table le serveur nous a dit que ce plat n'était pas disponible... pourquoi avoir accepté notre réservation dans ce cas ?
Pendant le repas il a fallu rappeler la commande de boissons à plusieurs reprises et au bout du compte on nous a servi ce que nous n'avions pas commandé.
Les plats étaient moyens sans plus à des prix bien surfaits.
Cette année la terrasse a été fermée, vous mangez maintenant dans une pergola en verre où il fait très chaud.
C'est une grosse déception, je connais ce resto depuis des années et là c'est vraiment la chute.
Je ne crois pas que j'y retournerai encore

O Restaurante António é a minha segunda casa de férias. Festas de aniversário da minha Família e de mim própria, fazem deste espaço junto ao mar , localização privilegiada, o local de festejos, de convites a Amigos, ou da tranquilidade a dois.
Somos muito bem recebidos, sentimos-nos acarinhados, sempre com boa comida a acompanhar. Recomendo vivamente.

Nos pusieron una mesa codo con codo con otros comensales que no conocíamos y a mi pareja le dijeron de mala manera que se pusiera la camiseta (ya lo iba a hacer, no le dio ni tiempo de poner un pie). Y es caro, aunque la comida es buena.

Boa comida, bom serviço e bom ambiente geralmente. Hoje estava uma mesa com 3 "galinhas" que se ouviam na sala toda. A variedade de pratos não é grande.
