Nice location and decent service. But Hotel and equipment all a bit tired.
Broken sunbed on our balcony and coffee stains on table,just a feeling of a lack of attention to detail. Sticky glass circles on side tables,cleaning has been rushed.

Cortesia, profissionalismo dos colaboradores, ótimos pequeno almoço e jantar, limpeza top e excelente localização, são fatores muito positivos. Negativo o facto de a piscina não estar funcional e a alternativa oferecida não ser suficiente para colmatar a falha. Os hóspedes não deveriam ser penalizados por erros de gestão.

als erstes, das Hotel ist super sauber und die Hotelanlage ist sehr schön, ebenso die Umgebung.
Das Personal ist sehr freundlich.
Das Spa, insbesondere die Massagen sind genial!
Am Essen gab es nie etwas auszusetzen. Immer super lecker und abwechslungreich.
Kritikpunkte:
Es war sehr laut in den Zimmern. Rund um die Uhr hat man das Quietschen von Möbeln gehört, wirklich Tag und Nacht. Klebt doch einfach ein paar Filzgleiter unter die Möbelfüße und alle sind glücklich.
Für erbrechende Gäste könnt ihr ja nichts...
Es kehrte erst Ruhe ein als wir das Zimmer wechselten.
Die Betten waren extrem hart. Auch mit Auflage, die super schnell auf die Betten gemacht wurde.
Wenn ein Candlelight-Dinner bestellt wird erwarte ich etwas mehr Tischdeko als nur zwei Teelichter.
... und dann die Kofferwaage. Ist es wirklich notwendig einen Euro für einmal Koffer wiegen zu verlangen? Hier geht es mir nicht um den einen Euro, sondern sowas gehört bei mir einfach zum Service dazu.
Trotz der Kritikpunkte war es aber insgesamt ein schöner Urlaub, leider nicht erholsam.
Preis-Leistung stimmt allemal.

Tenho muito boa experiência em relação ao grupo Pestana Hotéis e em expecífico com este hotel. Fui muito bem atendida, adorei os pratos, achei as instalações boas, e as piscinas (interior e exterior) eram muito limpinhas. Quanto à parte do spa também gostei. É um excelente hotel! Estão de Parabens! Adorei a estadia!

A simpatia dos funcionarios é de louvar. Sempre com um sorriso na cara (se vivesse no Algarve e sempre com sol tambem estaria sempre a sorrir :)) As facilidades do pequeno almoco sao bastante boas. a piscina de agua salgada com relva à volta é muito boa. tem uma localização invejavel mesmo numa falesia e com uma vista maravilhosa e relaxante.

Um típico 4 estrelas europeu, com uma vista fantástica sobre o oceano Atlântico. Pontos fortes: a localização, o staff, a limpeza, o spa. Pontos fracos: o preço (um exagero em época baixa), a fraca insonorização, a cama extra que solicitámos para as nossas filhas, muito desconfortável. Uma boa opção no Algarve... para a excelência, ainda lhe falta um bocadinho...

Das Hotel hat eine wundervolle Lage mit herrlichem Meerblick. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Wellnessbereich und der Innenpool sind zu klein und könnten modernisiert werden. Garten und Aussenpool sind sehr gepflegt. Das Frühstück war bis auf den Kaffee gut.

Einfach nur herrlich. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit traumhaften Blick auf die Küste und einen Strand. Das Zimmer war super mit kleiner Küchenzeile, Balkon und großem Bad. Alles war sehr gepflegt und sauber. Das Personal war immer freundlich, nett und zuvorkommend. Frühstück und Abendessen ließen keine Wünsche offen. Rund herum war Alles mehr als zufrieden stellend. Eine traumhafte Lage des Hotels tat ihr übriges.

We had 9 terrific days at this hotel. Beautiful location, well appointed rooms, friendly service. Grounds were very well maintained. We enjoyed every morning the amazing breakfast buffet. In previews reviews the sea gulls were mentioned and the hotel has taken unique measurements to keep the gulls away from the pool by hiring a falconer. We plan to return for a longer stay

Best place for all type of visitors: single, couples, families with kids... There is a gym to make sport, jacuzzi and a playroom for children. Two beaches are two minutes away from the hotel on foot. Really great buffet for breakfast, greatest food, every type of food, gluten and lactose free is also possible. Renting bikes for a good price is also possible. The personal is very kind and always ready to help with every necessity.

4 estrelas muito forçado, quartos limpos e confortáveis, mas poderia melhorar o isolamento acústico quanto ao ruído dos corredores. Pequeno almoço com grandes oportunidades para melhorar, muito desorganizado, sem rigor na gestão dos clientes, reposição das mesas muito longe de um 4 estrelas. Retire-se uma ou duas estrelas e está tudo bem.

Gostei do local, dos espaços amplos. A recepcionista do check-in não gostei do facto de arranjar desculpas para o facto do quarto ainda não estar pronto as 16h... a limpeza de um dos quartos deixou muito a desejar. Os funcionários do bar e pequeno almoço são simpáticos. O pequeno almoço é normal para um 4 estrelas. Dou pontuação de 3 porque não é possível dar 3,5 mas 4 já é muito.

Licht und Schatten - die Lage des Hotels ist top. In unmittelbarer Umgebung befinden sich die Strände " Cova Redonda" und "Praia de Senhora de Rocha". Weiterhin sind fußläufig mehrere Ital. Restaurants und Minimärkte bzw. Intermarche erreichbar.
Die meisten Zimmer / Suiten haben Meerblick und einen Balkon. Ein kostenloser Zimmersafe, Kühlschrank und Fön waren vorhanden. Leider war eines der Zimmer unserer Suite etwas hellhörig, was der Bauweise des Hotels (zentraler Aufgang / keine separaten Treppenhäuser) geschuldet ist. Die Rollgeräusche der Koffer nachts anreisender Gäste waren nicht zu überhören.
Die von unseren Kindern genutzte Schlafcouch bedürfte einer dringenden Erneuerung, zumindest dürfte diese für Erwachsene zum Schlafen ungeeignet sein.
Zur Ausstattung des Hotels gehört u. a. ein beheizter Innenpool, Whirlpool, Dampfbad und Sauna - Spielzimmer (keine Kinderbetreuung) / Kl. Fitnessstudio - alles jeweils ganz ordentlich und intakt.
Insgesamt machte das Hotel einschl. Aussenbereich weitestgehend einen sauberen und gepflegten Eindruck. Trotz der vielen Seemöven, welche leider von einigen Gästen gefüttert werden und daher entsprechende Spuren hinterlassen.
Das Frühstücksbuffet (7.30 bis 10.30 Uhr) war OK - könnte aber sicherlich etwas reichhaltiger bzw. abwechslungsreicher sein. Dies gilt insbesondere für das Abendbuffet.
Leider war das Personal im gastronomischen Bereich teilweise unfreundlich.
Wir hatten u. a. den Eindruck, dass die Einbuchung von Bestellbelegen für einige, sich wichtig nehmende Angestellte wichtiger war, als die Aufnahme von Bestellungen der Gäste; zumal die Getränkepreise - bspw. Bier 0,4 l für 4,5 € - keine Schnäppchen sind und das Abendbrot durchaus ohne Getränke eingenommen werden kann. Wie bereits erwähnt, sind andere Lokale und Bars in unmittelbarer Nähe des Hotels vorhanden. Eines direkt am Strand Praia de Senhora de Roche
Ungewohnt war für uns auch der Umstand, dass eine Buchung von Getränken etc. auf die Zimmerrechnung nur bei der Einrichtung eines entsprechenden Account möglich war. Hierfür ist dann eine Sicherheitsleistung von 25 € pro Tag zu entrichten gewesen, welche beim Auschecken verrechnet wurde.
Die gängigen Kreditkarten werden akzeptiert. In der Lobby stand ein Geldautomat.
Fazit: Unsere Urlaubswoche in der Vorsaison war erholsam. Unsere Kinder haben ausgiebig den Innenpool genutzt.

Great breakfast and great staff. We had a nice suite with an amazing view. Parking is a little bit limited but we were able to park on the street. Very clean restaurant with an amazing buffet for breakfast. We played with the cats that roam the property, we had an amazing time. We will repeat. Very good time!! Thank you to the wonderful staff :). We will be back.

Hotel ist für die Wintermonate und den Preis zu dieser Saison ok. Das Personal ist grösstenteils unhöflich. Die Zimmer sind klein und eher 3Stern. Den Meerblick hat man uneingeschränkt nur von den Suiten, bei den anderen sieht man mehr Palmen als Meer. Am letzten Abend funktionierte die Heizung nicht mehr. Man bot uns aber ein anderes Zimmer an.

Very nice hotel with friendly staff. Clean rooms and good service overall. Breakfast is good but almost everyday the same (so if you have different brrakfast everyday at home, you should choose something else ;). You can have dinner at the hotel. Good price & quality. Maybe better than slme restaurants around the hotel. Parking is free but there are bo dedicated parking place for the hotel. Especially during the night / end of day it is hard to find an empty spot for parking.
We had a room in 7th floor. Everything was ok. The view over water was great. Some parts of the room might use some maintanace, but we recommend this hotel.

Pestana Viking is in an ideal location, beachfront, close to all the restaurants and bars. Good clean hotel, staff are brilliant, very helpful and pleasant at all times. We travelled as a family of four (two adults and two babies) and booked during low season, it was quieter than normal but still up to top standards, the food was good and the rooms where clean and tidy. There's an indoor swimming pool and wellness centre, a kids club area, massive outdoor swimming pools overlooking the amazing beach.

Ofrecen early check-in na publicidade mais não tem disponibilidade mesmo para os clientes platinum. Para mais precisão em segunda feira da altura baixa, no final de janeiro, sem muitos clientes. Für einen Aufenthalt mit gemäßigten Ansprüchen erfüllt das Pestana Viking alle Wünsche. Die Lage ist Top, unweit großartiger Buchten und schönem Gelände. Die Zimmer incl. Bad waren sauber, der Room Service war in Ordnung...wenn auch hier und da kleine Details übersehen wurden. Das Frühstück war abwechslungsreich. Leider, leider hatten wir jedoch Mühe sauberes Besteck, Gläser oder Teller zu finden. Der Außenbereich mit Pool verspricht viel, war aber eine mächtige Enttäuschung. So schön all die Möwen auf dem Gelände sind - der Kot auf Stühlen, Tischen und Sonnenliegen war es nicht ... Das gilt auch für den Pool... trotz sommerlicher Temperaturen im Januar war die Nutzung des Außenbecken nicht möglich. Ein Bad in konzentrierter Harnsäure wollten wir nicht wagen. Last but not least durften wir uns mehrfach mit einem defekten Türschloss rumärgern und mussten etliche Male zur Rezeption um Zugang zum Zimmer zu erhalten. Unser Aufenthalt an der Algarve wurde dadurch nicht getrübt, aber für das nächste Mal werden wir ganz sicher ein anderes Hotel wählen.

Unas vistas espectaculares. La cena pésima poca variedad nada que me gustara y para mi hijo nada que le gustara excepto un poco de pescado que comió,me cobraron 3, 90 por una botella de agua, que me parece una pasada, pero bueno es un hotel.. La camarera nose como se llamaba pero tanto porla noche como porla mañana llevaba una trenza, la señora muy desagradable, todo el tiempo mirandonos muy mal, no entiendo como puede haber esa clase de persona trabajando en un hotel de cara al público, ya que te hace sentirte mal, en un sitio donde supuestamente debes sentirte comodo pasando tus vacaciones. En el desayuno estuvo mas o menos bien pero practicamente nada de bolleria que se echa mucho en falta.

Мы с женой уже не раз останавливались отелях сети Pestana и всегда оставались довольны сервисом, особенно понравился «Pestana Grand» на Мадейре. На этот раз нас ждал неприятный сюрприз если не сказать шок. Номера были грязные у нас и наших друзей, другой семейной пары. У нас в номере кафель в коридоре был залит чем то липким, видимо поэтому в ванной комнате были видны следы от обуви с прилипшими к ним волосами, волосы эти мы потом находили повсюду. На рецепции нам ответили что всё уберут, не убрали, через несколько часов пришлось требовать ещё раз. Ночью когда собрались спать нас ожидал ещё один сюрприз - грязные простыни. Такое впечатление что кто то на этих простынях уже спал причём не снимая обуви. Пришлось просить заменить простыни, молодой человек с рецепции очень извинялся когда всё это увидел. Халаты для посещения сауны и бассейна не выдаются, идти в сауну нужно через бар полуголым, другого пути пройти туда нет, шкафчиков чтобы переодеться непосредственно на месте тоже нет. За порядком в крытом бассейне никто не следит, дети прыгают с разбегу обрызгивая посетителей и рискуя разбиться, никто не использует шапочки плавая в бассейне, сильный запах канализации особенно в душевых.

Man merkt, dass das Hotel schon einige Jahre auf dem Buckel hat. Aber für den Preis, den wir bezahlt haben wir in der Nebensaison (Januar) einen super Service geboten bekommen. Sehr nettes Personal, gutes Frühstück, großes, sauberes Zimmer, schöner Innenpool ...Ich könnte mir vorstellen, dass es in der Hauptsaison eng mit Parkplätzen oder Plätzen beim Essen geben könnte.

Excellent hotel, location is very good on the cliff tops looking out to sea. Various restaurants and bars within walking distance. It is not a bustling place, but for relaxation and rest, perfect. Room is very well equipped with a kitchenette included, I have stopped in hotels all over the world and never seen anything like it.

Não é nada demais. Tem tudo para ser um hotel de luxo com spa, mas a realidade é outra. Os tratamentos no SPA são caríssimos, não tem estacionamento, a comida foi razoável no primeiro dia, depois melhorou. No café da manhã, é melhor chegar mais cedo para ter bacon de verdade, os sucos são todos artificiais... Tem boa variedade de pães e bolos. A piscina externa é gelada e puro sal. A piscina aquecida não é tão aquecida assim, só não é gelada, mas a jacuzzi cabe umas 5 pessoas.
Os empregados são todos educados, o que faz a gente se sentir bem lá.
No carnaval não teve atrações.
Fica ao lado da praia e de alguns restaurantes. Lo

Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen. An den Fensteranlagen Schimmel. Klimaanlage klapperte. In den ersten Tagen sehr kalt in allen Räumen, sodass viele Gäste mit Jacken oder Mänteln selbst im Speisesaal saßen. Auch das Essen war nur unter mittelmäßig, verkocht und vertrocknet. Dies änderte sich plötzlich zum Wochenende als viele Einheimische Familien einscheckten. Die Heizung funktionierte und das Essen war erstklassig.

The hotel is at a prime location and the rooms are facing the ocean. So the view is breathtaking.
On the contrary the hotel management and supervision is not up to date
1. The towels are very old and the witish color has gone and turned them to cream.
2. The cleanliness of the room is two ** stars. My room was not cleaned properly.
3. There are cups and electric kettle but no tea bags, and the funny thing is they do not have them. I called reception and requested for tea bag, but the reply was we do not have. You cannot buy as there are no shops close. Only thing you can do is take them from the breakfast.
4. Blankets are without covers and even no extra bed cloth to cover them. Totally unhygienic.
I really hope that they will improve as location is prime.
I would have given two stars for service but I enjoyed morning view and sun rise from the window. So there stars.

Waren nicht auf der Gästeliste, deshalb ein fettes minus, mußten 2 Zimmer wechseln bis zum endgültigen Zimmer. Abendbuffet unzureichend, Frühstück ok. An jeder Ecke Blessuren an Möbel&Wänden. Zustellbett nur ein klappriges Klappbett, das sehr in die Jahre gekommen ist. Doppelbett zwei aneinander geschobene Einzelbetten.
Nein, werden Pestana Viking nicht weiterempfehlen, geschweige denn wieder kommen.

We were there a year ago for our yoga retreat (February 2019)
Trying to get in contact with the hotel via phone or e-mail was not the smoothest. We came to know all calls & e-mails go to the main office then they are sent to the particular hotel/location.
Finally we handed over our reservations to a travel agent. We had few questions regarding usage of hall in case of rain/cold weather. But communicating via mail was confusing because the staffs changes a lot.
They kept asking about our reservations, despite informing them about the travel agent doing our reservations. In the end I just stop replying.
We had sent e-mail prior to our arrival requesting usage of space (children's play room) for our morning (7am-8am) yoga class, which was confirmed.
On inquiring that arrival evening if we could use it the following morning, they said they were never informed and the room is not cleaned etc so we could not use it & that they had no such mails. Then few minutes later they confirmed saying, we could use the space (they some how received the mail). Well! like I mentioned-communication not very good.
But once you are there, things are arranged and organised well. The staff and managers are very helpful and very accommodating.
They even let us use the meeting hall without any charge in the evening because we were a small group and nothing had to be rearranged (tables and chairs)
Rooms are stranded. We had booked sea facing rooms for extra charge but we did not exactly have a full view of the sea, but we did have a balcony to sit out & relax.
Loved the food, they also served Portuguese food (buffet) so it was a wonderful opportunity to taste it and they were yum.
Our group totally enjoyed sparkling wine for breakfast...lol
For dinner they have a wonderful choice, if you don't want to go out for dinner for a bit to eat. You can pay per plate and that was just perfect.
For women's day, they had a live band and we danced the night away. The band played all the oldies, so we could sing along too...it was a memorable night. Very thankful to the hotel that they organised a wonderful evening for their guests.
Location wise, it is bit far from the boulevard or town. But we found a short cut along the hill to walk down.
We took taxi back to the hotel and they are easily available and not so expensive.
Over all, we had a pleasant stay. No complains at all. We would definitely come again.
We are thankful to the staffs and the managers for helping us in every way during our stay there.

Food is terrible. Uncooked scrambled eggs. Sour yogurt 3 times out of4. Toaster was out of order last year. Not repaired year later. Cold meat not kept cold and being staled. Don’t go for breakfast! Buy at grocery. Cable TV had very good choices last year. Budget cut, only old films stations from the 60´s in English. News channels from other countries cut off. Qualities of channels poor choices. Violent programs only available in English. Very deceived. Will find other place next year.

Por el precio que pago no puedo exigir ni la mitad de lo que ofrece. El alojamiento es fabuloso y el trato del personal exquisito.Como sugerencia, me gustaría que los zumos del desayuno tuvieran un poco más de calidad. Deberían mejorar la descripción de la habitación, creo que todas disponen de cocina y no lo sabía.

This is lovely hotel with walks and beaches at hand. We went in Winter and it was very peaceful. Lots to see on bus trips in the area. Very historic area with roman to medieval remains all around. The only thing to remember is that seagulls will steal your lunch if you set it out on your balcony and go away for a minute!

Stayed in Dec . Location was perfect..Very quiet out of season in the area and closer towns.
Room was ok...daily cleaning was under par. Bedsheets not changed. Floors not cleaned.. Very basic cleaning done ...only thing done was made bed with the same sheets and emptied the bins..very disappointed for this rated hotel. Towels very thin. No shampoo etc replaced after 1st night. Breakfast ok but cold...becoming boring after a while of same selections. However staff tried their best. Evening live music was ok. Didn't have lunch or dinner so can't comment. Transport to town was ok..Hotel shuttle available to centre. We used Uber couldn't be bothered with car hire, B

Impossible d'utiliser la piscine extérieure car elle est devenue celle des cormorans qui y laissent leurs excréments. Le hammam n'a jamais fonctionné durant mon séjour. L'emplacement en bord de mer est magnifique mais il faut absolument une voiture car le village est assez loin.

Das Haus ist im Wesentlichen geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die modernen Gemälde sind stimmungsvoll und die Materialien edel anmutend, wenn auch etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die Sauberkeit ist befriedigend

Leider hat die Bar mit dem Aufenthaltsraum den Charme eines Wartesaals, was aber vor allem der schlechten Akustik geschuldet ist.
Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und schmackhaft.
Das Fernsehprogramm beschränkt sich auf die Deutsche Welle, die von ständiger Wiederholung lebt. Wohl dem, der genug Lesestoff im Gepäck hat!
Das Zimmer brauchte einige Tage, bis sich eine angenehme Temperatur einstellte und das Bad ist leider gar nicht beheizt, was im November nicht sehr angenehm ist. Die Beleuchtung im Zimmer ist schlecht: im vorderen Teil grell und im Fensterbereich funzelig.
Die absolute Kritik gehört jedoch dem Bett. Ein Boxspringbett hat normalerweise auf unterster Ebene eine Box mit Federkern, darauf liegt die Matratze und auf der Matratze der Topper. Hier ist es so, dass auf der untersten Ebene, die nicht definierbar ist, eine Möbelplatte (!) liegt. Die Matratze ist alles - außer punktelastisch. Der Topper ist sehr dünn und nicht geeignet, das ganze auch nur annähernd gemütlich zu machen. Kurz: eine einzige Katastrophe!
Vor allem aus letztgenannten Gründen kann ich dieses Hotel leider nicht weiter empfehlen!

Grand et spacieux hôtel, grande piscine calme, et un jardin magnifique avec des vues à couper le souffle sur la mer. Au restaurant, files d'attente pour accéder à la salle à manger et nourriture acceptable mais mal fournie, sur la terrasse de la chambre vue magnifique sur la piscine et la mer. Tout est bon, personnel efficace et agréable.
Le seul inconvénient c'est que l'hôtel ne dispose pas de parking, donc des fois un peu galère pour trouver des places.

Die Lage war hervorragend. Außenanlage und Sicht war sehr gut. Innenpool Ok, SaunaTür nicht dicht und kalt. Im Dampfbad gab es keinen Wasserschlauch. Wirlpool schmutzig. Frühstück ok. Kocktail am Bar nicht überzeugend. Wir hatten aber einen schönen Aufenthalt, da die Lage und Strand sehr schön war.

Das Hotel liegt direkt am Meer auf einer Klippe und ist daher von der Lage her einmalig. Das Hotel selbst ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist aber trotzdem sehr gepflegt und es wurde an der einen oder anderen Stelle auch renoviert. Das Hotel selbst ist eher klein und deshalb nicht ganz so überrand wie andere Hotels. Für einen Strandurlaub ist das Hotel daher sehr gut geeignet
Zimmer:
Das Zimmer ist sehr groß jedoch von der Einrichtung etwas altbacken und teiweise nicht ganz sauber wenn man sich die Bettlaken und die Vorhänge genauer anschaut. Hier ist noch deutliches Verbesserungspotential möglich!
Der Blick auf das Meer ist jedoch ein traum und die Betten sind sehr bequem.
Essen:
Die Essensqualität war sehr Unterschiedlich. Beim Frühstück kann man sich nicht beschweren und es gab eine relativ gute Auswahl an verschiedenen Gerichten, war jedoch jeden Tag fast das selbe und es wurde auch nur selten live etwas gekocht. Das Abendessen war meiner Meinung nach sehr schlecht. Das Fleisch war oft zäh, trocken und knorpelig und die Auswahl war viel zu klein. Für Fisch Liebhaber ist wahrscheinlich eher was dabei aber für jemanden der kein Fisch ist, gab es teilweise fast keine Auswahl. Nehmen sie am besten nur das Frühstück bei Ihrer Buchung!

Pretty standard resort. Great location, right on the waterfront. Had some weird little issues...nothing that ruined our trip and may just be a factor of visiting during the off-season. Breakfast is included, but the food was really middling: Watery eggs, bacon that was pretty unrecognizable. All in all we had a good time at our stay here, so the handful of little things didn't really have a huge impact. View from this place is absolutely amazing.

Отдыхали в этом отеле в сентябре 2019. Отель очень понравился! Номер убирали ежедневно и очень чисто. Постельное белье и полотенца в номере были безупречны! As we want to sleep, the music of a wedding started. So it was hard to sleep.
The worst thing is their buffet. I mean you habe to pay 20€ for a buffet that worse then every second cantine in Germany. Also the breakfast was not really good. I was expecting more for this price.

The back of the peoperry is very nice but a room back there was not available. We got what they deacribe is a garden view which is actually the road. They also need parking for their guests.

Great hotel with an amazing see view!
Friendly and reliable hotel staff. Big pool and wonderful beaches only few minutes from the hotel. Delicious dinner with Portuguese courses often accompanied with live music.
Definitely a great decision!

Sehr schönes Hotel,Lage auf einem Felsen am Meer.Im Sommer könnte ich mir vorstellen,das die Möwen sehr störend sind,ist ihr Lebensraum,beim Essen draußen und am Pool.

Nice chilled place with friendly staff and great scenery. Only downfall for me was not enough for the night life around there, you'll have to head in to town which is about €35 in taxi 20 min drive. Great hotel though nice clean rooms and great spa inside. Highly recommended I'd come back tomorrow!!

Beautiful views, nice salt water pool, very friendly staff. The breakfast is great. Dinner also has a large selection of good food. Having to turn in your towel was slightly annoying and our room was smaller than the description but it was a great stay.

Leider ist das Personal bis auf ein paar wenig nicht sehr freundlich.
Das Zimmer wurde, Nur oberflächlich geputzt.
Esse haben wir 7 Tage das gleiche bekommen. Nun zu den guten Sachen. Lage ist top. Hotel wenn man ein Auge zu drück echt schön.
Wünschens wert wäre es wenn sich das Personal mehr den Kunden anpasst. Nicht nur den überteuerten getränke Preisen.

A minha estadia não podia começar da pior maneira, já que quando efectuei a reserva, através do site do hotel (mais cara), pois incluía "Estacionamento gratuito", afinal este estacionamento é na Rua, onde se conseguir arranjar, ou seja claramente publicidade enganosa. Para um Hotel de 4 Estrelas do Grupo Pestana isto é inadmissível.

El hotel bien, habitaciones amplias, limpias y cómodas. Los empleados hablan poco español, pero son majos.
La comida escasa, con poca variedad, en el desayuno los camareros son un poco pesados, te quitan los platos mientras comes de ellos sin preguntar, aunque lo vayas a usar de nuevo, te lo cogen y están todo el rato mirando y cogiendo cosas, es bastante agobiante.
Las piscinas están mal reguladas, sin socorrista, la zona del spa está llena de niños, saltando con colchonetas, gritando, etc
En cuanto a la ubicación está bien, pero no tiene nada al rededor, solo 1 restaurante y todo lo demás lejos, el restaurante de la piscina, es carísimo y tardan un montón en traer la comida así que no es una opción. La playa está cerca pero han cerrado el acceso desde el hotel y hay que dar toda la vuelta.
En resumen el hotel esta bien pero sin más

Hotel bien situé, près de Zoomarine et de magnifiques plages. Pataugeoire, piscine extérieure et intérieure très sympas !!! Nourriture excellente, à éviter le café Nescafé qui est pas terrible, sinon le reste super bon. La garderie ouvre qu'à 10h00, c'est dommage, cela aurait été sympa de mettre notre enfant à la garderie pour déjeuner en paix et 10h00 c'est trop tard ! sinon devoir retourner les linges de piscine à la réception et non à la piscine tous les jours est une perte de temps surtout qu'à la réception il y a tjs de l'attente ! et le parking, ben y a des places de parc tout autour de l'hôtel mais c'est la galère en trouver. Chambre spacieuse avec un balcon inutile car il y a trop de soleil, pas de toile et rien pour suspendre les costumes de bain. Bref, c'était très sympa mais des choses à améliorer

Under expectations, I expected more from a 4 stars Pestana at 250 euros per night, but let's start with positive things :
- Exceptional view on the ocean from the swimming pool
- Localisation close to many nice beaches accessible by walk and not far from Faro and Lagos (circa 30 minutes by car)
- Rooms are nice with balcony, but a bit small
- Client population is diversified and nice
Negative things :
- Food quality was disappointing, breakfast buffet is average with industrial juices, low quality ingredients and poor choices, dinner buffet was not tasty at all
- 2 ladies at the reception were very cold and rude with total lack of empathy which spoil the efforts of the other employees whose some were kind ( swimming pool barman), wondering why they are working in a 4 stars hotel ...
- no towel and water at the fitness gym
- no parking for car in a very busy localisation so if you have a car expect at least 15 minutes to find a place and not sure of safety !
- no second key available for room so if you are a couple you have to manage with one key !
- if you need iron you are only allowed to get one for 60 minutes and bring it back to reception

Wir sind zum zweiten Mal hier und bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal. Servis ist freundlich und hilfsbereit Das Zimmer ist Sauber und Zweckmäßig, am Frühstück Buffet gibt es nicht's zu beklagen. Alles in allem sind wir hoch zufrieden!

Bom hotel para passar férias. Mas acheio um bocado caro para o tipo de instalações e serviços que prestam. A piscina exterior precisa de ter melhor tratamento, caixote do lixo ser trocado todos os dias....
Coisas boas do hotel, comida boa, simpatia, praia perto do hotel.
Penso que falta mais organização por parte do hotel....

Hervorragende Lage des Hotels. Sehr strandnah und doch nicht mitten im Trouble.
Insgesamt meist sauber, hier und da nagt der Zahn der Zeit (bzw. Einfach die starke Nutzung).
Das Essen (wechselndes Buffet) ist vernünftig und durchschnittlich für ein solches Hotel.
Das Personal, gerade im Restaurant spricht leider häufig nur sehr schlechtes Englisch, sodass einfachste Fragen / Bestellungen nicht verstanden werden - etwas nervig.
Insgesamt zu empfehlen!

Hotel idealnie położony na klifie (praktycznie jako jedyny z taką lokalizacją). Personel bardzo zaangażowany. Jedzenie bardzo dobre urozmaicone duży wybór (jedynie do czego można sie przyczepić to po paru dniach skończyła sie nutella. Pomimo zapytań co śniadanie nutella sie już więcej nie pojawiła). Pokoje czyste. Widok z 7 piętra robi wrażenie. Napoje do kolacji płatne. Dużo atrakcji (live music z muzyką Fado, pokój gier, silownia , SPA , sklepik z pamiatkami). Polecam pobyt w tym hotelu .

The hotel is very downscale from what we are used to or expected. It truly is a mass tourist hotel! We were originally planning to stay for five days, having selected the hotel for its location and our first choice nearby was fully booked. My wife has a service dog, which was permitted in the hotel room, but when we checked-in we were told it wouldnt be allowed anywhere but in the room. Obviously, this defeats the point of a service dog - i.e. being with the person with the health challenge as an alert. When we learned that on check-in, we immediately began to find another hotel. Since there was no cancellation available on our reservation, we simply felt we had no choice but to pay twice for the same nights. However, after being contacted by Bookings.com, the hotel management agreed to charge us only for the night we stayed there. That was very much appreciated!!

Excelente localização, com praia mesmo ao lado e para quem não gostar com piscina exterior e interior e mais uma para a pequenada. Quartos grandes e super limpos. Staff sempre prestável e simpático. Pequeno almoço muito bom, com produtos de qualidade e bastante variedade. 5 estrelas também para o almoço e jantares, servidos em buffet.

Quartos bons, porem a comida é horrivel igualmente ao atendimento do bar da piscina. O resort não possui quadras de esportes. Alem disso o elevador deve ter uns 40 anos, parece que estamos em uma area de turbulência e que vamos despencar, o barulho tambem assusta. Em conclusão, não recomendo

Séjour correct dans l'ensemble belle chambre avec très belle vue en terrasse le panorama est superbe.
La nourriture buffet très correct on y mange bien.
Petit bémol on paye des prestations comme le spa et la piscine intérieure chauffée dont on ne pouvait pas accéder en raison de travaux non mentionnée sur le site qui n'aurait pas été de refus vu le temps qui l'a fait pendant la période de début juillet vent frais température à 24 degrés max l'après midi

We had an amazing time here a few monhs ago. Great buffet, amazing views and just a killer location. Staff was amazing even though we arrived at 3 AM in the morning. Rooms were very spacious, balcony. Parking is a little problematic to find an available spot but everything was great for us. We also loved the cats roaming the property, they even came into our room and we fed them.

Die halbe miete dieses hotels ist schonmal die einzigartige lage direkt am meer,mit atemberaubendem ausblick.
Zimmer von der ausstattung her ok und sauber,die gesamte anlage ist gleichermassen gut gepflegt.
Abzüge gibts leider für die sehr hellhörigen zimmer,und die fehlenden filzgleiter unter den sitzmöbeln...
Das frühstück ist leider doch recht eintönig und könnte mit geringem aufwand verbessert werden.
Ein grosses manko gibts allerdings:
Die parkplatzsituation ist katastrophal!!
Wer mit dem mietwagen (sinniger weise) anreist,wird hier schnell genervt sein...
Alles in allem verbrachten wir hier einen schönen familienurlaub.
Das personal (insbesondere reception und reinigungspersonal) sind überaus freundlich.
Zur lage:
Mietwagen klar von vorteil,die direkt angrenzenden strände sind auch schön,allerdings schnell gut gefüllt...
Einkaufen kann man fussläufig im intermarche,zahlreiche restaurants im näheren umfeld.
Empfelung: o grelhador.

Schönes sauberes Hotel mit einer außergewöhnlich guten Lage. In direkter Nähe sind zwei super Strände.
Das Essen war sehr gut, das Personal freundlich mit leichten Defiziten beim Englisch.
Obwohl es etwas älter ist sieht alles gepflegt und ordentlich aus.
Der Salzwasserpool ist nichts Besonderes, ich fand ihn aber ausreichend.

Lage des Hotels ist super, sehr nah an einer wunderschönen Bucht am Atlantik. Das Personal in jeder Abteilung sehr freundlich und der Service sehr gut. Man findet täglich ein sehr sauberes Zimmer vor. Bei allen Fragen und Anliegen ist schnell jemand zur Stelle. Abends gibt es tolles Programm, wie beispielsweise Livemusik. Das Abendessen ist sehr abwechslungsreich und lecker, für jeden ist etwas dabei. Beim Frühstück jedoch, würde ich mir mehr Abwechslung und Auswahl wünschen. Ansonsten war es eine super Wahl und kann es empfehlen.

Hemos estado dos veces, una vez con nuestros niños y otra sin ellos (celebrando nuestro aniversario de bodas) y lo hemos pasado muy bien. Buen hotel, muy buen restaurante, buenas vistas, piscina de sal, piscina para niños, piscina interior con jacuzzi, espectáculos en verano para niños y mayores.........Enhorabuena !!!!

Tout était convenable pour un club de vacances. Habituellement dans un 4 étoiles, le restaurant nest pas en libre service, mais servi à table.Je mattendais à ce genre de confort. Mais tout sest bien passé.

Hotel fajny ale przed sezonem. Jak przyjechało kilka wycieczek trzeba było czekać na stolik podczas śniadania. Basen na zewnątrz nie jest podgrzewany. Napoje przy kolacji płatne. COLA 0,3 kosztuje 3 euro. Widoki super. My spaliśmy na 7 piętrze. Ogólnie polecam.

Schönes, Modernes Hotel, freundliche Rezeption.
Tolle Sicht auf das Meer, saubere Pools.
Leider ist das Abendessen(Buffet) einem 4 Sterne Hotel nicht würdig, zum Teil kalt, nicht durch und nicht schmackhaft. Der Service ist an der Grenze, man muss förmlich betteln das man etwas zum Trinken bekommt. Die Kellner laufen an leeren Tellern vorbei, ohne sie abzuräumen.

Amazing staff, place could be cleaner, easy walk to the beach, and convenient to the caves. We went during medium/high season Jun 21-24, and it was not too frustrating for waiting or services.If you can get a good deal, I would say give it a try.

The reception area is nice. Our room never really cooled down, we had to have the window open and then got bitten by mosquitoes as no net on windows. When our room was cleaned the floor still had visible dirt and the coffee table and other tables were not cleaned. I didnt like that you have to walk through the dining / bar area to get to and from the pool area. The gym equipment was outdated and broken. The indoor swimming pool was strange with hidden blocks underwater and little space to swim. Staff were hard working and attentive at breakfast.
