This is the third time we have stayed here - we love it. Its quiet and out of the way - the apartments are scrupulously clean, lots of parking, a short drive to shops and the beach - it ticks all our boxes for a relaxing break.

Sitio bem conservado com restaurante e piscina. Possui lavanderia e salão de videojogos (ambos pagos). Parque e conexão WIFI gratuitos. O apartamento que estive possuía dois quartos, um banheiro, sala e cozinha juntas, a segunda bem equipada por sinal.

Very happy with our 3 night stay here. Reception very friendly and helpful. 1 bed ground floor apartment was well equipped and clean but slightly dated, cannot complain for the price. It was very quiet when we stayed so there was lots space around the pool area. Beach is around 35 minute walk, well worth it. Lots of free parking at the beaches if driving. Local shops have the essentials and there is an Aldi around 25 minute walk away for anything else. Couldn’t ask for more, very relaxing break, would definitely go again.

Le calme et la propreté. Ils ont mis à notre disposition une autre poubelle pur qu on fasse le tri et on a apprécié.On avait les équipements nécessaires pour passer un séjour agréable.Faire attention cependant aux odeurs dans la salle de bain et l évier de la cuisine (remontées ds canalisations).

Sincèrement terriblement bien! La maison est spacieuse, tout près de la piscine. Attention il faut avoir une voiture pour y aller en vacances.
Sans voiture, je ne trouve pas cela faisable pour faire les courses etc.

This is our second stay at Villas Barrocal - the property is in a good location for accessing the beaches of the Algarve and Albufeira is close by. The pool area and pool bar are lovely.. the staff are very helpful and the drinks are reasonably priced. Two main negatives; you only get fresh towels twice a week and the television in the lounge was tiny on this occasion. Will most likely stay again in the future.

Al 2 keer geweest. Rustig park met niet zo veel appartementen maar appartementen zijn goed ingericht. Schoonmaak is goed geregeld. Klein winkeltje om je ontbijt spulletjes te halen op 100 meter afstand. In het plaatsje zelf is weinig te doen maar je bent zo in de badplaatsen.

Schönes Apartment in sehr schöner Lage zum Naturschutzgebiet und zum tollen Strand. In der Nachsaison eigentlich sehr ruhig und erholsam. Bis auf die Klimaanlagen, die auf jedem Balkon angebracht sind. Wenn der Nachbar diese über Nacht einschaltet, muss man die Fenster oder Balkontüre schliessen, da der Lärm zu laut. Leider.

sehr schöne ruhige Anlage mit der Möglichkeit mit dem Auto direkt bis zum Apartment zu fahren; Empfang war sehr herzlich und informativ; kostenloses upgrade auf 2 Schlafzimmer, viel Platz und gut ausgestattet mit Wasserkocher, Toaster, Wäscheständer, Bügeleisen, eine weitere größere Pfanne wäre nützlich gewesen. Sehr bequeme große Couch und auch deutsche Fernsehsender sowie Musiksender; die Matratzen waren unterschiedlich, meine für mein Empfinden leider zu hart; genügend Liegen um den Pool. Im Vergleich bisher das beste Apartment!

I stayed in two units at this resort, and this is my experience for the first unit. The second was old, had bugs in it, and the cloth furniture didnt seem clean because it was so old. However, WE LOVED THIS PLACE. This unit was on the second floor and was airy and light, and everything seemed newly renovated and amazingly clean. There was a big balcony, full kitchen that we loved using, and a big nice bathroom. The bed was incredibly comfortable and new. Very modern all around. The staff was excellent, pool and common areas looked fabulous, and the security and parking spot were great. Would definitely recommend this to anyone, as long as you request a new unit, preferably off the ground level.

We stayed in two apartments at this resort, and this is a review for our experience at the second one we stayed at (the first was AMAZING new and renovated, so clean and comfortable). The apartment was on the ground level, which led to many bugs being in the unit. We killed about 10 mosquitos, and there were always more. Also a spider. This bed was uncomfortable (the other units was so comfy) - felt like sleeping on tin cans. The furniture was old and everything had cloth on it so it all seemed kind of gross. However, there is a beautiful pool on the property, staff is great, theres a bar/cafe, and the security was top notch.

Bom local para descansar. É seguro e tranquilo. Aldeamento turístico com boas instalações, mas com móveis e camas antigas. Existem 2 grelhadores junto ao bar. A limpeza é efetuada duas vezes por semana.

Apartamentos com tudo o que é necessário para as férias, cozinha equipada, limpeza duas vezes por semana (óptimo). Local sossegado, calmo, e a meio caminho para passear no Algarve. Estadia de 4 pax 2ad e 2 crianças preço médio acessível e razoável. Adorámos.

As we were arriving late after reception was closed we had to arrange to collect keys. Communication by email and phone was prompt, clear and very helpful. The accommodation is in a small quite village only a few km from the main town with beach and wide range of shops and restaurants. You will need a car. The property itself was very clean - some might say basic and dated but for the price we paid I certainly have no complaints. The pool area was also clean, with plenty of space, even at the height of summer. Pool was very refreshing. There is a small restaurant next to the pool which serves food and drink all day, from breakfast to dinner. Finally, very conveniently, there is a small supermarket right next door to the property which stocks all the basics - with a larger Aldi supermarket a short 5 minute drive away. Overall, very happy with the stay - would recommend and even go back again.

Super surprise.
L'effet ouha avec en plus des prix canon.
La bonne nouvelle , on a été surclassé car peu de monde en fin de saison.
Deux chambres, salon, cuisine équipé, SDB deux terrasse et piscine bref des locations de vacances qu'on aimerai avoir en France.
L’emplacement est idéal car on est à 5 minutes de Armação de Pêra.

Tivemos a pouca sorte de passar uma semana com uma família super barulhenta por cima (principalmente de noite e de manhã muito cedo), mesmo reclamando nada foi feito. Falta uma política de silêncio, pois para quem pretende descansar, nem sempre é possível. No entanto, tem uma excelente localização para quem tem carro. Os apartamentos são fantásticos, com tudo o que precisamos, apenas com o senão de cheirar a bafio. Destaco positivamente a zona do bar e da piscina, muito agradável!

1 bedroom apartment was amazing. Spacious, spotless, well equipped, bed was very comfortable, new mattress. Very quiet, non main touristic area. Free parking in resort. The staff were friendly and professional. Nearby is good local cafe and in Armacao de Pera (2 km away) is the best all you can eat fish restaurant Zé Leiteiro. The only bad is, that we could not stay for more than 2 nights for time reasons.

Such a beautiful and tranquil place. A little off the beaten track but we hired a car so had no issues getting around.
Rooms were huge and spotless and staff were so friendly.
The pool area was also spotlessly clean.
Would not hesitate to return here.

Lovely villa, the apartment was well kept and its confortable. Very relaxing and quite in september. Quite some space to park your car.
I would recommend to ensure that the doors are closed during the night as mosquitos may come in and bite you.

Uma boa experiência no Algarve, apartamento muito bom, com tudo o que é necessário para umas férias em família, quartos e camas boas, cozinha com equipamento que nos surpreendeu, limpeza muito boa, piscina e zona envolvente muito bom, segurança do empreendimento é boa, só entra e sai quem tem acesso para o fazer. Bar de apoio à piscina com serviço curto mas suficiente, salão de jogos a precisar de uma mudança mas dá para entreter um pouco, o parque infantil já não existe, deviam exclui-lo da propaganda. De salientar o sossego que se vive dentro do empreendimento e tb da praia mais perto, praia grande de pêra.

Es war sehr schön für uns 4. Sehr ruhig und wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt. Würde ich nächstes Jahr noch einmal hin. Aber der Garten von Zimmer 111 war nicht so schön, weil jeder in den garten gucken konnte und ein bisschen mehr Privatsphäre hätte auch sein können aber trotzdem für 3 sterne ist es super

Foram uns dias bem passados em família, com muita animação pelas festas à noite, karaoke e música ao vivo no café da piscina.
Funcionários simpáticos!
O apartamento era super confortável e aconchegante, bem decorado e limpo.
Muito próximo da praia e de armação de pêra.
O empreendimento é um espaço agradável mas "cheio", não se tem aquela sensação de tranquilidade, dado que são muitos apartamentos todos juntos.
O facto de ter churrasqueira e proporcionar a possibilidade de fazer grelhados é um ponto positivo!
O parque infantil que publicitam, não existe...
O lixo, cabe aos hóspedes despejá-lo no contentor, e para termos sacos do lixo tivémos de andar a pedir às senhoras da limpeza.
A máquina de lavar a louça estava avariada mas foi prontamente substituída. Ainda bem que levámos pastilhas para a máquina, senão tinha de ser à mão.
As gaivotas são algo a que ninguém se habitua... Imensas, sempre a sobrevoar o empreendimento e a fazer barulho, de manhã à noite.
Não superou as expectativas... Mas foi agradável.

Great apartments some more dated than others. Had everything you needed including all kitchen appliances, iron, clothes line, garden furniture etc. Exceptionally clean and staff in pool bar very friendly. Pool very nice, a bit cold at first. Good value but need a car as in a very quiet location if you want more restaurants and bars.

Lovely apartment setting surrounding a pool . In a quiet village 10 minutes from glorious sandy beach. You need a car to explore the area. Many fine restraunts within 15 min drive. Great for relaxing holiday.15 minutes to Albufeira and 45 to Faro airport.

Aufenthalt 8 Tage,, großse Zimmer. Einziges Manko, Internet im Zimmer nicht vorhanden. Sicheregute Verbindung nur in der Rezeption und am Pool. Allerdings schließt Rezeption um 22 Uhr.Ansonsten immer gerne wieder

Schöne Anlage, etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber das ist nicht weiter schlimm.Dusche war perfekt. Sauber = Zimmer und Anlage. Die Anlage ist sicher und gross.Der Ort Pera ist ursprünglich, friedlich, angenehm, aber es gibt keine schönen Restaurants da muss man, wenn man nicht selbst kocht etwas weiter fahren,

Estou pela primeira vez alojada neste aldeamento e pelo preço que nos pediram não compensa ... A limpeza mete nojo ser feita d dois em dois dias lixo,toalhas e o pior é que mesmo que queiramos fazer a limpeza não temos esfregona,sacos do Lixo nada mesmo nada... acho que podiam melhor muito nesse aspecto.

First problem was my flight landed at 2320 and the hotel check-in closed at 2200 with no provision to access accommodation later! In my case that meant a costly hotel near the airport for the first night. I was allocated a two bedroom ground floor apartment which had only one bathroom which was OK for me but for 4?Generally the place was well equipped but no potato peeler (self catering!).The bathroom lacked shelving on which to place toiletry items - I made do with a small unit located initially in the lounge area.Ladies might find the fixed hair dryer in bathroom awkward, but then thats where the only mirror was.The local town of Pera had little to see and do. Small bars/restaurants were nearby but for more choice and finer dining a short trip to the new larger town on the coast was needed.The beach a few kilometers away was massive and there are two wooden walkways over the dunes if you dont want to walk 400 metres in sand and shrubbery.If you are of a shy disposition then definitely use the walkways else you risk coming across naked sunbathers on the edge of the dunes.

Beautiful, well stocked apartments. Parking spaces provided and a rental car for the stay is a good choice as it is in a secluded spot. Pool area is lovely with a great snack/drinks bar.

This stay was great but next time I will be staying more nearby the main town centre as we had to travel everyday into the main part to do things as this hotel offers nothing to entertain you.

Da für uns ein WiFi absolut notwendig ist, muss ich einen Abstrich in der Bewertung machen, denn es gibt kein WiFi im Appartement. Das Appartement selbst war sehr sauber, nur ein Wenig Schimmelgeruch, der aber schon nach kurzem Lüften nicht mehr wahrnehmbar war. Das Personal - allover - top und sehr freundlich.Man ist autark, man muss nicht jedes mal zu einer Rezeption sondern es ist wie ein zu Hause ! Gute Empfehlung, mit WiFi wäre es noch besser.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit unserem Appartement. 3 Schlafzimmer, zwei Badezimmer, Küche, Wohnzimmer und 3 Balkone/Terrasse. Es liegt allerdings etwas ausserhalb, was wir aber von Vorteil sehen, man sollte aber einen Mietwagen haben da auch Restaurants kaum fußläufig zu erreichen sind, ebenso Supermärkte. Pool und Tennis anlage sehr gepflegt.

Vorausgesetzt man verfügt über ein Fahrzeug ist dies ein sehr guter Platz. Armacao und Strand sind ca. 4 km entfernt. Ansonsten ist alles sehr ordentlich und sauber, das Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit und die Apartements geräumig. Sicher komme ich wieder.

El hotel está bien, no es nada del otro mundo pero se puede ir sin problemas. Andando puedes ir al centrop del pueblo en 15 minutos. Tiene piscina, desayuno continental un poco escaso. El precio para agosto de 150 euros noche en habitación de 2+2 es normal para esas fechas, en otras fechas sería caro.

En general ha sido muy positiva mi experiencia, apartamento super- confortable, muy limpio y muy equipado. Lo recomiendo. Era como vivir en tu casa Adosada con tu coche en la puerta y la piscina a 5 metros. Muy cercano al mar y a Zoo Marine. Los únicos peros: la televisión por satélite no tiene ningún canal en Español ( estamos a menos de 100 km, creo que nos merecemos al menos uno), el wifi era gratis lo cuál está muy bien pero fallaba mucho la conexión y la televisión pequeña pero vamos que en general el sitio es excelente en cuanto a relación calidad- precio

Wir haben das Hotel aufgrund seiner zentralen Lage an der Algarve und somit seiner optimalen Ausgangslage für Tagestouren gebucht. So liegt es zwar etwas weiter weg von den Hochburgen wie bspw. Lagos und Portimao. Aber sowohl Richtung Osten bis Faro und Tavira, als auch Richtung Westen bis Lagos und Sagres ist alles bequem mit dem Auto (Muss!) über die N125 zu erreichen. Die Appartments sind sehr geräumig und gut ausgestattet (Geschirr, großer Kühlschrank, Spülmaschine, Fön usw.). WLAN funktioniert eingeschränkt. Parkplätze sind auf dem Hotelgelände vorhanden. Ich kann mir allerdings vorstellen, dass es in der Hauptsaison eng werden könnte. Kleiner, aber feiner Poolbereich. Kleinere Snacks sind zu erschwinglichen Preisen erhältlich. Ebenso können Massagen zu akzeptablen Preisen im Hotel gebucht werden. Im Nachbarort gibt es eine größere Auswahl an Restaurants und den nächstgelegenen Strand. Ein kleiner Minimarkt (leider sehr teuer) befindet sich direkt neben dem Eingang zum Hotelbereich, ein großes Einkaufszentrum nur wenige Kilometer weiter in Guia. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis war top und ich würde jedem das Hotel empfehlen, der nicht nur einen Ort an der Algarve besuchen will, mobil ist und eine sehr ruhige Lage jeglichem Partyrummel bevorzugt.

Service außergewöhnlich gut, sehr freundliches Personal, sehr saubere Zimmer, Zimmerservice während des Aufenthalts, ruhige Lage 2 km vom Strand entfernt.
