First : there wasn't soup.
Menu food was very poor. It seems good for 7.5 Euro but shells were empty /meat tough and tasteless dry.
Mini appetizer without request brought the waitress (funny men) and at the end was invoiced. Only for foreigners...
My wife's steak was OK!

Cataplana Seeteufel war Klasse.
Hähnchen nach PiriPiri und Steak portugiesische Art sowie das Dessert mittelmäßig.
Fazit: Fisch ist ihre Stärke , Rest ok. Preis-leistungsverhältnis in Ordnung.

Bom atendimento. Comida mediana; falta fazer uma apresentação melhor no empratamento e no corte da salada. O ambiente é excepcional e muito agradável. Nota 06.

We visited OBarco at lunchtime on our first day of our holiday. We were not disappointed. O Barco is a typical Portuguese restaurant, busy with the Portuguese workers eating their lunch, which is always a good sign. I ordered the Swordfish wow, it filled the plate and came with potatoes and green beans, the fish was cooked perfectly in butter which melted in your mouth, ( it could have easily been for 2) My husband ordered Portuguese Steak again a large portion ( shin steak, I think, in a brown sauce) very tasty and tender in places, but he wished he had ordered the Swordfish. On the table fresh bread, sardine pate, garlic mayo and butter, don’t eat too much! This restaurant is mainly fish and the Portuguese were all eating fish and seafood, In a fish restaurant I would recommend eating fish, that is why I have given 4 and not 5 stars. The meal including non alcoholic drinks cost 42euros, 5stars for value for money, the Swordfish with potatoes and veg was under 15euros. Service 5 stars and the waiter was friendly. Definitely Recommend, especially if you are hungry, we will be returning.

Buen lugar, aunque no maravilloso.
Nos pedimos una cataplana del Algarve (cerdo y almejas) y una ensalada mixta. Más que suficiente para dos ya que la cataplana es muy generosa en las raciones y viene con una ración de patatas fritas. Estaba buena, pero podía mejorar, sobretodo en que las almejas no llevarán nada de tierra...
Te sirven entrantes que ni los tocamos, suelen cobrartelos a parte.

Restaurante muy original y acogedor. Buen servicio. Pedimos lenguado y sardinas a la brasa, exquisitos se notaba que el pescado era fresco. Relación calidad precio buena 15€/persona aprox

We always make a point of going here when in Algarve, as stay quite nearby. Always made most welcome, staff really nice and Portuguese food delicious. Seems very popular with locals + other nationalities too. Definitely recommend.

Personnel très accueillant et d'une grande gentillesse. Un repas extrêmement bon. 10 personnes autour de la table et tout le monde du même avis . Nous recommandons à 100%. Et en plus vraiment pas chère !

Comida deliciosa e preços acessíveis. Atum de cebolada, sardinhas e linguado muito saborosos. O atendimento é simpático e familiar. Tem muitas opções de peixes com poucas espinhas :D

Hier fühlt man sich in Portugal. Gute, währschafte portugiesische Küche. Uns hat besonders gefallen, dass an einem Samstagmittag das Restaurant voll war. mit einheimischen Handwerkern. Grosse Portionen, frisch zubereitetes Essen und schöne Fischauswahl. Vorzüglicher freundlicher Service.

Heb hier met een groep van zes op het terras gezeten. Ze hadden een grote kaart. Eten was goed en kwam snel. Prijs was bijna niks. Het gebouw zelf is wel een beetje ouderwets maar dat is ook wel een beetje de charme van de tent.

Very nice Portuguese restaurant. They cook after you ordered, so it comes very fresh, usually it is like that in a good Portuguese restaurant. The grilled kebabs are delious. It is nice for children as wel as it is spacious. And the children can actually sit in the boat.
