Not impressed with this restaurant. Half piri piri chicken was tiny. The octopus and ribs were ok. Chips not great and the cataplana was nothing special. Disappointing. Service not amazing either.

Ha sido la peor comida de los cuatro días que llevamos en Portugal. El arroz con marisco estaba insípido y nos lo han traído co cebolla a pesar de haberlo pedido explícitamente sin ella. Lo único bueno las vistas. No recomendable.

Great location overlooking the town square where they had an outdoor performer. We had the peri-peri chicken and the picanha steak. Both were excellent!!! Service was a bit slow at first but then improved. Would definitely come back.

Prima plek om het plein te overzien. Heerlijk flesje wijn gedronken op de eerste rang voor de live muziek op het plein ☺️

Nice spot overlooking the square. Fish dish was super good. Kids chicken and chips was ok. Attitude of the services staff needs to be better. A smile goes a long way.

We waren met zijn 3en. De spareribs waren lekker, vooral het sausje wat er bij zat. Mijn dochter had friet met worst en ei. Zag er goed uit. En mijn partner had biefstuk met pepersaus. Biefstuk was helaas te taai. Maar je krijgt wel een flink stuk vlees. En voldoende friet (Franse friet). Personeel vriendelijk en erg behulpzaam.

Trotz rufen und winken kam niemand um eine Bestellung aufzunehmen. Ober hatte mich aber zweimal angeschaut. Haben 15 Minuten gewartet und sind dann gegangen.

pésima relación calidad precio, como muestra un botón: la cerveza casi triplica el precio promedio en la zona. Típico lugar de saqueo al turista.

Excelente local, serviço e lista. Preço médio alto mas que merece face a qualidade do geral. Recomendo.

Eten was zeer matig. De bediening is alleen gericht om je zo snel mogelijk weer uit de tent te krijgen. Omzet telt, niet de klant-(waardering). De ligging is uitstekend en heeft voor Carvoeira op die plek dan ook een kwaliteitsrestaurant nodig!

Eten was niet geweldig, ze proberen je zo snel mogelijk weer weg te krijgen zodat ze weer nieuwe klanten aan het tafeltje kunnen zetten. Viel al met al tegen.

Nice place and nice food. Waiters were super kind, we were served fast and also got appetizers for the short wait, on the house. :)

La cocina deja mucho que desear, pedimos un arroz y nos lo sirvieron crudo y sin elaborar. Tuvimos la sensación que quisieron engañar a turistas y en ningún caso convencer a clientes. No volveremos.

We had dinner here with the family, the food was great and we didn't have to wait much for it. Also the waiters were welcoming and helpful.

The food was fairly good and service OK but drinks and couvert were a rip off - they made up 40% of the bill for a party of 5 where 2 of us were just drinking water! Definitely better value places to eat in Carvoeiro

Bad food and poor service overall. The menu featured little detail of the dishes/ingredients. Chicken had barely any meat on the bone and the Cod was dry and tough as a shoe. The other dishes we ordered were average at best - the highlight being the grilled sardines - hard to get wrong. Service was very slow. The head waiter was patronising, specifically asking "have you ever eaten cod" and arguing that "most people love this dish" and "there's nothing wrong with the cooking". This is a 2 star establishment at best!

+ Świetna lokalizacja i przepiękne widoki z balkonu. Pyszne Porto oraz pasta z owocami morza. Kawa na plus - Ziemniaki w jednej z potraw były niedogotowane, kurczak jakby bez smaku, gumowaty 5 gwiazdek tylko że względu na obsługę a dokładnie Pan Ilidio Celeste, mimo problemów z płatnością kartą był bardzo miły i pomocny!

Vis (Golden Bream) en ham met meloen waren erg goed. Cheesecake met aardbeien ook. Bediening door de baas en de jongens was goed en vriendelijk. De dame was wat norser maar ok. Aangenaam in de schaduw op de eerste verdieping met mooi uitzicht. Prima!

Had lunch there today. Sea bass & grilled chicken were excellent, best fish I’ve had this week, they even removed the head & bones so very easy to eat. Fresh salad. Loved the apple pie. Both our waiters were friendly, chatty. Would highly recommend.

Der Service war äußerst freundlich. Das Essen war leider nur mittelmäßig. Das Steak war die reinste Schuhsohle und dem Preis leider nicht angemessen.

Gave this place a try..... OMG what a bad decision.... Service was atrocious , attitude was appalling, manner's abrupt.... No apology for serving hair (pubic), patronizing, aguementative.... The food looking really appetizing , but didn't have the opportunity to try meal in front of us, as we left in disgust without paying..... Not recommended, maybe they tried to intimidate and take advantage of a non European family ....how wrong they were.... We no walk over.... I actually understand Portuguese..... The bill must have came too over €130.00 ,what a waste ! I wouldn't recommend any eatery next to it either....looks like a umbrella organisation.

My family and I were staying at a villa in Carvoeiro and while we mostly ate at our villa , we decided to try this restaurant one evening. It isn't an upmarket restaurant but one that caters towards tourists and the menu reflects that. You will find classics such as sardines and octopus as well as cataplana. I ordered the octopus which came with small baked potatoes and baked baby onions . I have to say that my meal was very nice and enjoyed it very much ... the octopus was really tender and tasty. What let our experience down though was one of the waiters. He was slightly older maybe in his 50s and was quite abrupt and fairly rude in his manner. He wasn't friendly and spoke like he was in a bad mood. My brother addressed that to him and he did slightly lessen his tone. Anyway , nothing to write home about in terms of overall food quality but fine if near the beach and don't want to spend too much .

Friendly atmosphere with helpful staff with a sense of humor. We had sea food rice which was a special menu item that evening. Enjoyed the evening. We would go again.

Slecht eten. Saté met waterige saus. Grote garnalen zo uit de diepvries. Alleen knoflook gaf wat smaak.

Don't waste your money terrible food at a very high price. I ordered piri piri chicken on menu it says half roast chicken I had 5 small pieces chips and 1 lettuce leaf 10 euros

Niente di particolare come posto, piatti un po' poveri e pasta davvero insipida. L'unica cosa buona è che il personale sa l'inglese, cosa non scontata in Portogallo. Un po' costoso per gli standard e per i piatti serviti.

Jedzenie niesmaczne, ryby jak z gumy, sardynki niedoczyszczone, w smaku okropne. Przystawka w postaci 4 kawałków chleba, masła i pasty z tuńczyka (puszka z supermarketu) plus oliwki w cenie 9 euro to już mocna przesada. Kelner biega jakby go ktoś gonił, co jakiś czas wylewjąc klientom kawę na stół Trochę śmieszne, trochę straszne !

Tres tres bon restaurant . Service agreable

Had the misfortune of stumbling upon this place on our first night in Portugal. Whatever you do don't eat the meat! My husband and son couldn't touch it! Overcooked, tasteless and Rock hard! We left thinking we had made a grave mistake holidaying here! Fortunately there are other fantastic restaurants along the coast where people take pride in what they offer customers. This restaurant doesn't seem to care about repeat business as we would have returned during our stay if the food was acceptable. Fire the chef is what I'd Recomended if they want to cater for repeat business! It's not good enough to offer holiday makers the cheapest cut meats with the attitude " they're on holidays" we won't see them again!! Very very disappointed and again not the standard of other lovely eateries in the vicinity.

Long wait on food, personnel are very friendly. We ordered a medium steak, got a well done one, so dont get your hopes up on quality.

The Location is excellent (beach front) and the food and service is superb, we visited several times during our holiday
