Uma Pousada de Portugal! Excelente climatização, muito bem decorado. Quartos cómodos, bem equipados, ainda que um pouco expostos ao ruído do corredor (afinal de contas, é um antigo convento...). Refeições bem confeccionadas e bem apresentadas; pena os preços da carta de vinhos, completamente despropositados (a 5 estrela perde-se por aqui). Pessoal muito simpático e prestável, sempre disponíveis. Foi uma boa estadia!

Recomendo. Visitem. Para um merecido descanso. Fugir do stress.

Pousada da rede das Pousadas de Portugal muito bem situada em antigo convento adaptada com muito gosto, funcional, respeitando a marca arquitectónica e em local muito bonito e tranquilo. Bom para uns dias de descanso. Perto quer de Évora quer de Estremoz.

We were invited to stay in the Pousada for my best friends wedding. During the check-in the staff all very polite and offered to show us the way to the room explaining the history of the monastery and the services available. In what concerns to the surroundings the Pousada is just perfect, in the middle of the Alentejo countryside with awesome views to Arraiolos Castle. During the wedding cocktail all went smooth and the waiters were always available. The only small details I have to point out so they can improve for the future are regarding the dinner service. There were some 'bit extensive' pauses between each dish and the meat side dish was a bit poor (4 potato 'sticks'), at the end of the serving there were some friends complaining about this and the waiters brought more to serve out. In my opinion, even if the Chef wants to present a gourmet dish, must consider having a balance between meat and the other food elements. There is free wireless available for all guests even if some times it is a bit difficult to get signal but is understandable because of the tick monastery walls. Regarding the breakfast, this Pousada presents a fully continental breakfast with diet and 'celiac friendly' options. In general the experience was exquisite! I recommend the Pousada for a true Alentejo experience!.. and if you are thinking about it, a beautiful place to get married!
