Beautiful, spacious, and ideally located. We felt as if we were staying in a five-star resort. An extraordinary value, at least in April when we were there. We simply could not have been more pleased.

Very nice and well-maintained apartment hotel. Clean, cosy, spacy. I would even say: prestigious. This is my 2nd vacations in Lagos and I am happy to say I found my accomodation for future trip. Great view on the sea - we watched sunrise today.

So freundlich wurden lang nicht mehr in einem Hotel empfangen. Vorbildlich! Wir haben direkt eine Karte bekommen auf der uns Restaurantempfehlungen und Supermärkte eingezeichnet wurden. Alles war zu Fuß innerhalb weniger Minuten zu erreichen. Sehr schönes, sauberes Apartment mit Balkon und Meerblick. Einfach super. Was man vielleicht wissen sollte das Hotel befindet sich an einem Hügel, für Restaurants und Souvenirshops muss man ca 5 Minuten runter laufen und dementsprechend später wieder hoch. Also man sollte gut zu Fuß sein.

Ubicación perfecta. A 10m de las playas de Dona Ana y 15 de Camilo y por la tarde a 5m del centro. Todo limpio. La piscina es fantástica

Pefect! We had a holiday and lived here last year. It is very nice to near the sea and the reception is very very kind and nice!

My mom and I stayed two nights at Baluarte and it was perfect. I got really sick one day and Jessica helped my mom to find everything I needed. Jessica also helped us getting around which we really appreciated. The apartment was clean and I highly suggest the ones with a rooftop private terrace. The view is totally worth it!

Endroit magnifique!!! Accueil charmant contrairement au reste de l'Algarve!! Petit appartement trés chic et propre avec 1 petite attention(grande bouteille d'eau et 1 bouteille de vin blanc sont offerts), avec 2 belles terrasses(solarium)avec vue sur la mer.. Extérieur bien entretenu avec fleurs, belle piscine , belle vue.. Je recommande fortement ce lieu, il est bien situé, très proche du centre historique et proche de la mer.

Great place, huge rooms, the owner of the house has literally pulled his car off the parking and gave me to park instead of him as I couldn't find any parking spot in the area! The location is perfect, just 2 minutes from all the bars and restaurants!

Great people and a great place to stay while in Lagos. The apartment is great. It is a three floor apartment, with a common room and balcony on the ground floor, bedroom on the first and a terrace on the second. The bedroom is comfortable. When we went in July, the weather was great to sit outside in their ground floor balcony for sometime. Their second floor terrace has a nice view of the buildings and the sea (though the sea is at a distance). Our 4 year old daughter enjoyed sitting on the terrace when it was not too windy. The apartment is well maintained and clean (although the terrace was not cleaned with the same vigour - but then again, keeping a terrace clean is tough). It has a clear holiday charm about it. The location is also quite nice. It is not exactly at the main street of Lagos where you will find lots of outdoor restaurants, but it is no more than a 10-15 minute walk away. We had rented a car, and found no difficulty in getting free parking on the street close to Baluarte. Praia Dona Ana and Praia Do Camilo are also quite close by car. I would definitely recommend this place and would love to visit again, if I visit Portugal again.

Loved our time in Lagos, pool area is as picturesque as the website and the staff were super helpful.

Die Lage ist zentral und ruhig. Wir wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt und bekamen tolle Restaursbtempfehlungen. Das Apartment war sehr schön. Die Poolanlage war auch sehr schön zum entspannen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Schöne Lage, das Haus hat auch viel Charme. Vielleicht hatten wir nur Pech, aber die Sauberkeit (u.a. weiße Flecken auf der Bettdecke!) und der Zustand im Detail passen leider nicht dazu.

위치가.....언덕이 진짜 헬......근데 방도 넓고 수영장도 엄청 넓었음!! 위치빼고는 다 최고엿고 리셉션에 있던 직원분도 친절했음. 카약투어, 보트투어도 여기서 바로 예약했는데 친절하게 잘 해주셨음!무튼 위치만 빼면 다 좋은곳! 아 그리고 엘리베이터가 없어서 계단으로 이동해야해서 짐이 무거우면 힘듦..

La situation de lhotel est exceptionnelle. Sur les hauteurs de Lagos avec une vue imprenable sur lOcean deja depuis la rue. Le quartier est local et typique mais on rejoint le centre ville pavé avec tous les commerced en 5mn à pieds. Quant à Jessica elle est parfaite ! Elle nous a arrangé une sortie en mer exactement comme nous la voulions nous permettant ainisi de ne pas aller prospecter tous les stands ! Elle est toujours souriante et avenante ! Lappartement etait parfaitement équipé et dun grand confort ! Si nous retournons a Lagos, cest là que nous séjournerons a nouveau !

Located in quiet neighborhood but also not far way from tourist center. 18mins walking to train station and 18mins walking to the biggest supermarket. Inside is separated to three parts. Living room &kitchen, bedroom, bathroom. Furniture looks clean and new. But wifi seems not good enough and no basic cooking oil and salt. Bed stuff not clean enough. Shower water maybe become not warm after a while.

Loved everything about this apartment style hotel. Tons of space, roof top patio, beautiful pool area and all in the perfect location. Only 5 minute walk to the start of the beaches and 10 minutes max to city centre with all the shops and restaurants. Staff is so kind and helpful, wifi worked great and our place had two bathrooms. Would definitely book this place when I come back to Lagos.

Muy buena situacion geografia en lagos ya que todo esta muy cerca. No hace falta usar el coche para ir a ningun sitio. Mucha limieza y cocina muy equiada. Mucha tranquilidad. Yesica la chica de recepción muy simatica y amable te dice todo lo necesario para moverte y visitar en lagos y te da buenos consejos para donde ir a comer. La habitación muy amplia buena cama y el baño muy grande. Recomendable 100%.

Magnifique endroit, très propres avec un personnel charmant ! J'ai été dire que je n'avais pas de sel et poivre et le monsieur de la réception à été m'en acheter pour me l'amener ensuite à ma chambre, pour vous dire à quel point ils sont serviable ! Super piscine et très bien placé à Lagos. Je le recommande vivement !

This apartment was a beautiful surprise! Our apartment was two floors connected by a pretty, spiral stair case. It was nicely decorated, comfortable and over looking the pool with the Lagos beaches in the distance. I felt most at home in this place. It was a short walk to town, groceries, and beaches. I would definitely stay here again.

Clean room/hotel with accommodating and friendly staff. Walking distance to downtown, beaches and grocery stores.

We are mesmerized by this facilty.pools,hot tub,big spaces,cleanliness..well come back again..accessible to the town...

Hotel is high up on the hill, a 5 minute walk up from the town. Although it was hard to get into on first arrival, just as we arrived at 11am someone was leaving so let us in. There was someone on the desk and although we were not due to book in from 3pm they had one of the two rooms ready and we were able to leave our bags etc. The hotel is lovely, although there is no bar or restaurant. The pool has plenty of sunbeds and room to sunbathe. Our two 1 bedroom apt, were both spacious and had everything we needed from toaster, microwave, hairdryer.Great hotel, very quiet, very reasonably priced.Loved it.

Eine gute Unterkunft in optimaler Lage. Hätten nicht anders wohnen wollen. Die Nähe zur Lagune und Altstadt mit Aussicht über die Bucht war optimal. Die Apartments sind zwar etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber absolut sauber und schön.

We stayed here for 2 nights and it was beautiful. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The apartment was clean and huge! There is a beautiful pool and the apartments are close to everything. 5 minute walk to the beach!

Loved this place!! Well exceeded our expectations. We had a one bedroom which had a sitting room/kitchen and toilet on ground floor. First floor had a twin bedroom which was quite large as well as a full bathroom. Up the stairs to the second floor - was a private roof deck with beautiful views!Pool was very nice too. Not too windy which was great. Will absolutely stay here again.

En general, el hotel es muy recomendable. Lo mejor es la ubicación. Está situado en una calle muy tranquila, muy cerca de las playas y de la zona de bares y restaurantes.

We revisited Porta Da Vila this October for a 9 night stay and can see how much it has improved since our last visit 18 months ago. Cleanliness is now far better with a cleaner who called 6 days a week and the towels and linen were also changed regularly this time. We had one of the Garden rooms (107) which is relatively quiet and has a roof terrace with excellent views across the town and Meia Praia beach. There are no views from the ground floor lounge or bedroom - but the roof terrace compensates for this. Like another reviewer we had a problem with noise on Friday and Saturday nights when some young Portuguese residents returned at 4.00am with a huge amount of shouting and laughing which resulted in no sleep until they finally all got into their apartments and presumably went to sleep. Happily they only stayed for the weekend. Things to bear in mind: kitchenette facilities are basic with two rings only and very cramped. OK for a snack but not too much more. TV - a few English channels, but nowhere near as many as privately rented apartments which usually have the full range of Sky channels. Lounge has just one settee and a dining table and chairs, so you either all sit on the sofa or on an uncomfortable wooden dining chair. Just one additional lounge chair would make a lot of difference. Reception is usually unmanned although the receptionist can be contacted on her mobile if you need her and she speaks excellent English. For us the best thing is the location at the top of town within the city walls. Value wise, it is not as good as some of the apartments weve rented privately in the marina area for the same sort of cost which weve found are generally far better equipped. But on the plus side you are only 5 minutes walk from the city centre with the Porta Da Vila apartments.

Wir wohnten in einem Studio mit Blakon und Blick aufs Meer. Die Zimmer waren ein wenig altmodish aber gemütlich eingerichtet. Die Lage der Unterkunft war für uns super. Zu Fuß ist man in 5 Minuten in der Stadt und auch zu den Stränden dauert es nicht lang.
