Agradável local simpático pitoresco na vila de Alvor não sendo necessário viatura para nada ou quase nada perto de tudo e da tranquilidade do local também por isso nada como passar uma semanita aqui no paraíso e desfrutar do calor da região....

It's clean and located around a ton of restaurants and shops. Lovely town. The only issue is that it's all street parking. This time of year is an off season so you can generally find parking. If visiting here during the summer parking could be a real issue. It would have been nice if they put together a package for tourist as to parking areas around the hotel, and other useful info. They will give you pamphlets but only when you ask for them They seem to take it for granted you know where everything is. Anyways I'm enjoying my stay.

Los apartamentos de la planta calle están sin reformar, pero está todo muy limpio. La piscina no es muy grande y en época de verano está llena de ingleses con un montón de hinchables que hacen todavía más pequeña. La localización es muy buena.

Mooi complex, lief personeel, goede faciliteiten en kindvriendelijk ingesteld. Alles is super schoon en midden in het centrum van alvor. Super locatie!

Almost impossible to fault these apartments . Been going here to stay on holiday for years we won't go anywhere else in alvor. Staff,rooms,services,cleaners,equipment, well it's simpler to say everything is a 10/10. Well done alvormar... we love you.

The Alvormar Apartmentos are a really great place to stay. We stayed here last year and came back because of the quality of tne accommodation and the friendliness of the staff. I would recommend that you pay a little extra for a second or third floor apartment as they have been recently refurbished to a high standard. The roof terrace is relaxing to sunbathe or to read a book in the shaded area. Overall, excellent for a quiet, relaxing break.

Small and friendly, is the best description. Self catering apartments, which are clean, comfortable and sufficiently equipped to prepare a family meal (if you really want to!). Close to the centre of the town (village?), and not too far to walk to the beach.

No google maps é um pesadelo!!! Inclusive está algo com esse nome na Rua Arco Maravilhas na parte velha de Portimão! Onde tudo está a cair de velho e nem perto de Alvor fica! - Quem gere isto não se apercebe disto? Recepção: Não há! N° para contacto: Não há - ou melhor: consegue-se encontrar um de Espanha que apenas serve pra fazer reservas! (pra sacar dinheiro)! Coitados dos clientes/turistas e de quem tem de trabalhar com tanto amadorismo e incompetência. Nota-se que apenas existe o cuidado em... receber! No entanto as acomodações (que não cheguei a ver) até podem ser das melhores no Algarve mas do que serve? Basicamente: onde os espanhóis metem o dedo...

Lovely, well appointed rooms and excellent customer service. Nice pool and gardens. Rooms cleaned daily. Short walk to local supermarkets, restaurants and bars. Would highly recommend this place.

These modern apartments in the centre of Alvor are fantastic. They are very well equipped with utensils and a full oven, very clean, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We never stay anywhere else in Alvor.

It was basic, old hard beds and no ac in the bedroom. But the people were nice, and had a full kitchen so it made the stay comfortable,

Todos os funcionários eram muito simpáticos e prestáveis. A limpeza era impecável, assim como o espaço interior e exterior.

We had one of the old rooms. Beds really uncomfortable and needs upgrade, not worth what we paid. Pool extremely noisy with none of the children being checked for screaming and shouting Snack bar was terrible I had a tuna wrap which had maybe a teaspoon of tuna in, plenty of nice places around which are much better. We would stay again but only in an upgraded room

Very comfortable and spacious apartments. Spotlessly clean, beautiful modern decor, and a great location. Lots of bars shops and restaurants a few minutes walk away.

The Alvoramar apartments are modern and chique..They are located over three floors with apartments on the third floor allowing you to take in that sea view. Here you will discover a solarium where you can laze away your days. The pool area is a nice size with the luxury of free sun ☀ beds and parasols. However the pool is rather on the smaller side than most I have come across, with a small area for children. There is no children's club here but there is a play area with toys. Also there is a poolside bar that is open till 7pm while you can stay by the pool till 8pm.There is no bar or restaurant here but there are plenty on your doorstep. Check out is at 10am so be mindful of that but there are facilities to cater for waiting around until pick up..Rooms are cleaned everyday but Sunday and staff are very pleasant. There is a taxi rank literally outside the Apartment block and can bring you to anywhere you want. Portimao costs around 8/9 euro and there is a shopping complex here that boasts of having 120 outlets. We were there, its massive. The beach is about 10 mins away from the Alvormar and is beautiful. Just off the beach there is a large parking allotment for campers. The transfer time to Alvor from Faro airport is Approx 40 mins. No need to bring books there is a library filled with novels and summer reading for all entrepid readers in all languages. All in all I would say that the Alvormar is a place to stay in Alvor.

Beautiful accommodation... newly renovated... very clean and well maintained. Staff courteous friendly and always helpful. Highly recommended.

Wow! Staying at AlvorMar in a newly renovated superior 2 bedroom, 2 bath and it is terrific. Fabulous views of the ocean from both balconies. Love the interior aviary and the roof top terrace. Very roomy, beautiful updated bathrooms, rainfall shower heads, fully decked out kitchen. And the beds - I am sleeping like a baby. So convenient to shopping, the beach and restaurants. No need for a vehicle if you want to go without one. Front desk staff are knowledgeable and very helpful. Definitely plan on returning. Low season rates are amazing - just 55 euros per night!

WOW. What a pleasant surprise. Staff incredibly helpful, location brilliant, and the renovated apartments are like 5-star hotel rooms. Only 2 floors renovated so far (another floor to be done this winter), but we're very impressed with what they've done.

We really enjoyed our stay in Alvormar apartments. Room was basic but clean and serviced every day. Hotel staff were very helpful. Will definitely be back.

The apartments are about a ten minute walk to the beach and really close to the town centre, but still quiet. They were clean and well equipped but we found the beds a bit hard. The more expensive apartments on the third floor certainly looked worth the extra money.

Will definitely stay here again. We were upgraded and our room was newly decorated. All of the areas we saw were clean modern and the staff were all friendly/

We were pleasantly surprised with the Alvormar, having stayed there off season, we did not realise what facilities they offered at this time. The swimming pool was small, but good to escape the heat. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the apartments are brilliantly situated on the edge of Alvor and close to town and beach; with much to do and great choices for eating. We will come back.
