Das Hotel sieht schon etwas älter aus und hat seine besten Zeiten hinter sich. Im Lobby Bereich roch es des Öfteren sehr unangenehm (Ursache nicht klar) ansonsten war der Service gut! Die Zimmer waren waren großzügig mit einem schönen Balkon. Die Ausstattung war ordentlich aber der Boden auch schon alt. Das Bad war eine Fehlplanung. Die Dusche überschwemmt das Bad und es gibt keinen Abzug. Ein Föhn fehlte auch. Das Frühstück war nicht ansprechend hergerichtet und nicht wirklich gut. Der Kaffee war unterirdisch. Ich würde nicht wieder kommen.

A little out of town close to the beach the hotel was wonderful with exceptionally helpful and friendly staff. Children loved the pool.

The reception is manned 24/7, the staff is friendly and efficient. Opt for the sea-facing rooms to make the best of the stay. If you have a car, then it's a 5-min drive from the Lagos marina and also the best restaurants in Lagos. We stayed for two nights but hadn't opted for breakfast or any other meal, hence, I cannot comment about the same.

Mesmo em frente a 5km de uma praia extensa. Muito tranquilo e renovador para fugir ao reboliço do Algarve, mas bem perto de tudo.

Die einfach, aber ausreichend ausgestatteten Apartments liegen in unmittelbare Nähe zur Meia Praia, mit einem Taxi oder Uber ist man in 20 Min im Zentrum von Lagos - zu Fuß ist es ein netter Spaziergang von ca. 30 Min an der Praia bzw. am Hafen entlang. Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit, obwohl wir kein Frühstück gebucht hatten, hätten wir es morgens noch problemlos dazubuchen können. Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis war in Ordnung, normalerweise bevorzugen wir individuellere Unterkünfte, für einen kurzen Zwischenstopp in Lagos war das Dom Pedro aber völlig in Ordnung.

Die Appartements sind großzügig, das Personal sehr nett und hilfsbereit, die Ausstattung der Küche ist nicht so üppig und die Möbilierung schon etwas älter. Aber die Lage des Hotels ist einfach super, direkt am Strand. Zur Stadt Lagos hat man einen Fußweg von ca. 30 Minuten, aber gut zu laufen.

The location is great. The hotel services are ok. Nothing is included, so it’s all extra. The furniture in the units is not very good. Couch was broken and the beds were 2 single twin beds pushed together. Hotel is very clean and there is a lot of effort by the staff to maintain the cleanliness.

It's a 3 star hotel but one of the best three star hotels I've ever stayed at reception is manned 24/7 And the maid staff are some of the most friendly you'll ever meet. Rooms also contain electronic safes

No me gustó nada hospedarme en medio de una obra. No nos avisaron que estaban en plena reforma y estábamos prácticamente solos en el hotel, con colchones viejos y todas las carpinterías de las ventanas tiradas en el parking. Eso hay que avisarlo y uno decide si quiere estar en esas condiciones. En cto al apartamento, ya reformado, muy bien, aunque faltaba el menaje.

It's okay, but lacks several things. Our bed is just two twin beds, so we can't actually sleep "together", there is no dresser to put our clothes in, there are no laundry facilities on site, so when here for long stays, you have to find the laundromat in Lagos. Also, the breakfast onsite is not worth the cost...go to the marina cafe's. No coffee in the kitchenette. On the plus side, the location is wonderful, and the small restaurant connected to this, Atlanticio, is great!

Lovely we enjoyed our time here staff excellent. Slightly disappointing at first as we arrived in the dark and left in car park with very little lighting to find you needed to go down a level to reception .

We loved Dom Pedro! So much that we stayed an extra few nights in Lagos when we were meant to travel North to Porto. Check in was a breeze. There is someone at the front desk 24/7. There is also a bar behind the check in desk, tables just outside, and the pool area just down from that. There is a breakfast buffet if you are staying 3 or more days. Bed was comfy, living room was comfy. We had a nice spacious balcony overlooking the lawn and the next door apartment or hotel building. A/C worked well but it was almost just as nice having the sliding door open for fresh air. I think the only complaint I had was the shower. The temp and pressure were great, but there is a permanent partial glass wall. It doesnt come out very far, so the floor ends up soaked after a 10 minute shower. They do come daily for housekeeping and will replace the floor mat.DO NOT MISS THE RESTAURANT NEXT DOOR, Atlantico! Must go if you love wine. The owner is a collector of 50 years. My boyfriend is a sommelier and they let us in the cellar to see their selection. There was a port from 1912! Very cool experience and delicious food. Also good food across the street in the large odd shaped restaurant, so if you dont feel like traveling the less than a mile back into Lagos, there are places to eat near the restaurant.

Estamos perante uma unidade hoteleira de 3 estrelas. Ao efetuar a reserva as fotos eram agradáveis e embora alguns comentários não tivessem a melhor opinião optei ainda assim por reservar. A localização é simplesmente excelente. Para quem gosta de praia é só atravesar a rua, um parque de estacionamento, a linha do comboio, seguir o passadiço e surge o enorme areal da meia praia. O D. Pedro Lagos proporciona estacionamento privado gratuito, embora seja insuficiente e a precisar de ordenamento pois assim que chega e não tiver estacionamento perto da entrada vai ter que andar com as malas mais alguns metros. Assim que se entra na propriedade começamos a ver que é uma unidade hoteleira que não prima muito pela limpeza exterior e de bem receber se me percebem. Depois de aceder ao interior dá para ver que é um edificio a precisar de conservação para aprimorar a receção dos hóspedes. A zona de chek in e chek out é no piso inferior ao do estacionamento, ou seja, recomendo que primeiro efetuem o chek in e depois vão buscar as malas. Na zona de chek in também servem café o que cria um pouco de confusão com pessoas a chegar outras a partir e outras a beber café ao balcão. O apartamento que me foi atribuido era espaçoso com casa de banho, cozinha, quarto e sala. A casa de banho mostra que o edificio tem alguns bons anos pelos materiais aplicados embora alguns elementos sejam recentes. A cozinha de dimensões reduzidas, tinha eletrodomésticos recentes e em bom estado embora a nivel de panelas se resumisse a uma de 24 cm e outra de 14 cm ( tipo chaleira) com 1/2 frigorifico e microndas. O quarto de dimensões generosas tinha como elementos a cama dupla, roupeiro, tabua e ferro de engomar e ar condicionado a funcionar na perfeição. A sala de dimensão generosa tinha televisão com boa qualidade e com variedade de canais. Uma mesa com quatro cadeiras e uma cama de casal embutida num movel (gostei do pormenor). Equipada também com ar condicionado. Face ao valor que paguei (150 euros por noite em agosto) e para uma propriedade de 3 estrelas não condiz com a qualidade que se exigia em comparação com outras de nível equiparado. A casa de banho tinha habitantes que não fizeram chek in, formigas, muitas formigas. No corredor do apartamento via-se que tinha sido efetuada uma pintura à pressa com tinta branca a invadir os rodapés, fio do telefone solto pelo pelo chão. No exterior, numa das zonas de aceso pedonal somos recebidos com a exposição de uma palete de madeira encostada. Segundo as informações a limpeza interna era diária o que nao se verificou. Durante cerca de dois dias um cheiro ambiente nauzeabundo a esgotos não era nada bem vindo. As funcionárias notava-se um stress que quase contagiava os hospedes. Resumidamente, uma propriedade com enorme potencial para ser uma unidade de referência, pela localização e sossego que proporcina a zona envolvente, mas tem de melhorar o aspeto a limpeza interior/exterior para dar aquele toque bem português de receber de portas abertas. Se fosse um artigo sujeito a devolução devolvia ou um desconto à medida face ao preço/qualidade.

We stayed for 1 week in September 2018. The hotel is right next to the Meia Praia beach. It was clean, the staff was very friendly. The rooms were clean, but walls slightly thin. The rooms have air con which worked very well. The view was lovely, the restaurant had great food and all in all everything was perfect

Einfache Räume, schlichtes Frühstück - in unmittelbarer Strandnähe. Positiv ist eine kleine neu eingebaute Küche, der Balkon, Parkplatz für ein Mietauto. Ein gutes Hotel, für alle die, die das Hotel als Schlafplatz sehen und am Tag die Algarve kennenlernen wollen. Das Hotel selbst bietet kein Verwöhnprogramm.

Allt var perfekt, förutom det var inte någon "live music"

Das Hotel liegt nur wenige Minuten vom Strand und ca. 20 Minuten vom Zentrum. Unsere Wohnung war riesig, aber leider waren nur sehr wenig Möble in der Wohnung. Das Wohnzimmer wirkte wie ein Wartesaal! Die kleine Küche war ganz gut ausgestattet, es fehlte aber eine Kaffeemaschine oder einfach ein Kaffeefilter! Bei der Nachfrage an der Rezeption, wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass es so was in den Wohnungen nicht gibt!! Auch ein Fön ist nicht vorhanden! Handtücher gibt es jeden Tag frisch, aber die Putzfrau hat das putzen einfach mal vergessen! Nach ein paar Tagen haben wir dann die Toilette mal selbst geputzt!!!! Der Hausflur wurde in den 13 Tagen nicht einmal geputzt oder einfach mal gekehrt! Leider sammelte sich der Dreck in allen Ecken und auf den Treppen. Im Badezimmer kann Wasser aus dem Gulli hoch! Nach einer Reklamation wurde die Verstopfung beseitigt und der Dreck wurde dann nach 4 Stunden mal weggeputzt!!! Die Toilette in der Hotellobby ist ein Drecksloch!! Die Bar ist einfach keine Bar, sondern einfach ein kleiner Kiosk, wo man Dosenbier kaufen kann!! Die Bilder im Internet sehen auf jeden Fall viel besser aus, als die Wohnungen in Wirklichkeit aussehen. Der Hotelpool wurde während unseren Aufenthalt einmal komplett leer gemacht, aus der Pumpe kam graubraune Dreckswasser!!!! Aus diesem Hotel könne man mit Kleinigkeiten so viel machen!! Die Lage ist perfekt und das Personal hat sich auch immer sehr viel Mühe gegeben!!

Dieses 3-Sterne Hotel ist seinen Preis wert (Als Pauschalreise). Ruhige Lage etwas außerhalb von Lagos. Fußweg bis zur Altstadt etwa 1/2 Stunde. Keine Drängelei am Pool. Der Parkplatz für PKW, hinter dem Hotel, nie voll besetzt. Ruhiges Publikum. Zimmer ok. Haben absichtlich nicht ein Südzimmer, sondern eines nach Westen, mit "Nachtblick" auf die Stadt, gewählt. Klimaanlage. Moderner Fernseher, ohne deutsches Fernsehen, wenn überhaupt gebraucht. Küchenzeile. Anmietung PKW sinnvoll, aber schon zu Hause! Wie es im Hotel ist, wenn Schulferien beginnen, entzieht sich unserer Kenntnis. Wir kommen wieder vorbei.

Un buen hotel con habitaciones amplias y un personal amable, muy buena localización (justo en frente de la playa). El personal amable y hay aparcamiento gratuito. Lo único es el ascensor que es antiguo y pequeño, por lo demás fenomenal.

Luxury stay in Lagos. We were fortunate to stay there offseason so there was very few people around. Very professional and polite staff, large rooms great views, parking inside, nice garden, all you can dream about when travel. Beach is at very short distance.

Our room had a beautiful sea view with a balcony. Comfortable beds. Beautiful long stretch of beach for walking. I liked the layout and the fact that the washroom was more private as it was hidden behind the bedroom away from the kitchen. The grounds and pool are very well kept. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We found Uber very useful for going over to the old town (€3 - €6 one way). The sofa was not comfortable but that’s my only complaint. I stayed for 4 days in January 2020. The good – I had a fabulous corner unit overlooking the beautiful ocean so I got the sunrise and the sunset. The entire hotel is immaculate!! The cleaning staff is constantly cleaning, and it shows. The desk staff are very helpful and professional. The beach is directly across the street. It’s a 20 minute walk to town or a 5 minute ride on the Onda (bus stop is directly in front of the hotel). There is also a great restaurant right across the street on the beach. The bad – the furniture desperately needs updating. The dining table has plastic chairs like you find at the outdoor section of Home Depot. The small sofa was like sitting on a rock and was only 5 feet long so you couldn’t really relax. There was no lighting in the dining area. One small wall sconce lights the area. The bed was HORRIBLE!! The mattresses are old, hard and cheap. You can feel the springs. The base creaked every time I rolled over. I never got a good night’s sleep.

Very nice studio hotel with a fantastic location less than two minutes from the beach. The staff were always nice and helpful, cleaners always came by every day around 10AM. I wish there was a sign to put around the doorknob on the outside to indicate whether cleaning was necessary or not. Also Dom Pedro has ironing boards, s full working kitchen with pots/pans etc, but there was no hairdryer which would have been very helpful.I should also note that I went in December and the hotels restaurant was always closed (understandably) and walking into the city centre where the restos are is about 35mins. (A lot of restos are closed Mon and Tues, or closed during the off-season without updating their website.) If youre there for the beach (which I was) then you can walk into into town once to pick up groceries (theres a fridge and small freezer in the hotel) and have food in the room to maximize time spent at the beach. Its beautiful and so worth it!I would stay there again (:P.S. Reception desk is open 24/7.

Die Zimmer sind groß und geräumig, wenn auch etwas karg eingerichtet, eine Kaffeemaschine sucht man vergebens. Die Zimmer werden täglich gereinigt mit frischen Handtüchern. Alles in allem gut wir kommen seit Jahren nach Lagos und würden hier wieder buchen.

El personal super atento tiene servicio de estacionamiento gratuito , el elevador es viejisimo y ridiculamente pequeño no contemplan que los huéspedes traen maletas . Las habitaciones son bastante amplias aunque para mi gusto necesitan una remodelación pero todo funciona perfectamente. El desayuno me pareció un poco pobre en comparación de otros hoteles de la misma cadena. Está lejos de muchos servicios pero la playa está justo enfrente y hay un restaurante bar.

The staff at Dom Pedro, Lagos were so friendly and helpful. Specifically, the receptionist Catarina. She was the absolute best. We stayed downstairs and chatted with her most nights. She told us how to get to other cities in Portugal using the local train and buses. She also told us how to say a few words in Portuguese which was very helpful. In addition to helping us get around Lagos, Catarina also told us where to get good food and where to go in the center city to enjoy the night life. There are also many restaurants nearby. The restaurant located in Dom Pedro has some of the best pasta I ever had. There is also a restaurant across from Dom Pedro, Restaurante Gaivota Braca, the service there was amazing and the food was even better!Overall, I would stay here again and again. If you are traveling to Lagos, Portugal and want to stay somewhere close to the beach, the city and local transportation, this is the place to stay!

The location was right on the beach, across from an amazing restaurant with the best sunset view and close to town. We loved the Quiet Large room with oversized Private balcony and Kitchenette. Comfy beds. Would recommend.

Wir waren Sept. / Okt. für 2 Wochen im Dom Pedro. Wir hatten ein Club Appartement mir Meerblick (Nr. 314). Die Möbel sind recht in die Jahre gekommen und teilweise unansehnlich. Ein Austausch wäre sinnvoll und angebracht. Küche sehr spärlich eingerichtet und auch hier wäre ein Renovierungsbedarf angezeigt. Recéption und Reinigungspersonal sehr freundlich. Sauberkeit gut. Lage super - In wenigen Schritten am wunderschönen Sandstrand Meia Praia.

Les + : La vue sur la mer depuis le balcon, la proximité de la plage (une rue a traverser) l'agencement de l'appartement, avec la cuisine bien aménagé (manque un lave linge pour être nickel) et la chambre séparée donnant sur les toits, au calme. La résidence dispose d'un parking, vite plein, mais possibilité de se garer juste a coté ou en face. Le wifi fonctionne bien. Les - : Les matelas des 2 lits de la chambre 501 sont fatigués, on a mal dormi car on sent les ressorts de partout. Le bruit de l'ascenseur contiguë a la chambre. La piscine était froide (non chauffée) mais ça ravigote !! Appartement un peu éloigné du centre, il faut une voiture impérativement.

Nice hotel, great for chillout, awsome view from a hotel, spacious rooms, with equipped kitchen. Only two things that were lacking: - no vegetables on breakfast, - the room was cleaned selectively, each day something was not properly or fully cleaned.

Hotel is across the road from a beautiful 7km long beach. Ocean view rooms offer unobstructed vistas. There is a good seafood restaurant on the beach just steps away from the hotel. There is plenty of free parking.But building is old and infrastructure (e.g. elevators) pretty dated. The attention to guests needs is very average.

The view was fantastic, big balcony, and large appartement. Quiet, Few thing is missing: the wifi don’t work in the room just in the living room and no tv in the room also (if you are someone who like to fall asleep with...) and just a boiler no cafetiere in the kitchen.

Room was as described, was nice to have a kitchen and living space, beds were comfy and there was enough linen and blankets. Staff were very helpful. The hotel was within walking distance to town.

Me encantó este aparthotel pegadito a la playa más grande de Lagos (y eso que la llaman ‘Meia Praia’). Escogí un apartamento con vistas a la playa. Todos los días desayunaba en la terraza con el solecito de las mañanas…. El apartamento, tipo estudio, tenía por este orden de fuera a adentro: una terraza orientada a la playa; una sala de estar grande, con sofá cama y televisor LCD grande; una cocina tipo americana en la propia sala de estar, con todo lo necesario: nevera, microondas, fuegos eléctricos, fregadero, vajilla y cubertería, etc. (hasta plancha y tabla de planchar), totalmente equipada y no echamos nada a faltar; una cama grande de matrimonio; y finalmente, junto a la puerta de entrada, el cuarto de baño. NO me pareció un hotel muy trallado como he leído en algún comentario. El personal amable, aunque sólo me relacioné con ellos en el checking y en el checkout. La Wifi arrojó unas lecturas con el SpeedTest de 22 – 23 Mbps en bajadas y 8,5 Mbps en subidas (en la habitación), y de 26 Mbps y 30,7 Mbps en bajadas y subidas respectivamente en el lobby. Hotel très bien situé. Il suffit de traverser la rue pour aller à la plage. A mon avis, il sagit de la plus plage de Lagos, car il ny a pas de grosses vagues et on peut marcher longtemps (5km). Très près du centre-ville de Lagos.

We loved the staff and our apartment, which was clean and well equipped. The pool and restaurant were also quite enjoyable.

Lovely quiet spot but an easy walk into town. We had a studio and we were well impressed by how spacious and well equipped it was. Would definitely recommend as superb value for money.

Lappartements est propre, fonctionnel, face à la mer. La cuisine est équipée. Tres spacieux, parking gratuit. Wifi gratuit, connection stable. Un peu loin du centre Lagos. Lappartement a lair un peu vieilli, les finitions de décoration ne sont pas soigneuses. Mais tout reste correct, fonctionnel.

Foi uma semana excelente, receção ótima, staff simpático e disponível,pequeno almoço bom. Boa localização, sítio tranquilo, apartamento muito bom, limpeza diária, local que recomendo e voltarei.Um cumprimento especial também ao gerente Pedro Contente.

No geral é bom... Localização previligiada mesmo em frente a praia... Pecam pela limpeza, uma semana aqui e não mudaram os lençóis nem uma vez, ate tive que pedir para me sacudirem os qie tinha por causa da areia... As empregadas da limpeza falam mais do que limpam. El chico de anoche en recepción es poco colaborador. El establecimiento pide una pequeña reforma y cumple con las espectativas. La piscina está bien, pero echo de menos una barra para pedir alguna bebida durante los baños.

Hemos pasado una semana en este alojamiento y es genial. Un lugar tranquilo con la playa al cruzar la calle. Si quieres visitar Lagos puedes ir andando, es un pequeño paseito. El desayuno es sencillo pero bueno. El personal muy amable. Sin duda repetiria si viniera de nuevo al Algarve.

Lugar privilegiado pela proximidade á praia

Alguns empregados são simpáticos e outros nem por isso. A localização é muito boa. A piscina é boa. Os quartos são simples, o WC é normal e a cozinha pequena! Gostei da atenção que tiveram connosco em nos dar um apartamento piso 1 por causa do bebé.

9 nuits, presque 1600 euros. Nous nous attendions à un peu de standing, que neni malheureusement... Points positifs : la partie d'accueil de la réception est clean, moderne. Personnel agréable. La piscine et l'espace autour fort agréable quand trop de vent sur la plage. Plage et océan à 4 minutes à pied. Tous les logements ont vue sur l'océan. Salle de bain spacieuse. Terrasse pratique et isolée sans vis à vis direct. Ménage fait tous les jours. Clim efficace. Points négatifs : Mobilier de chambre vieillot : canapé c'est deux coussins sur une planche, guère confortable. Manque d'ustensiles pour cuisine (passoire, grande poêle (car une poêle assez grande pour un steak quand on est 2 c'est assez chiant), un couteau autre qu'un couteau à beurre, une cafetière ne serait pas du luxe etc etc). Literie vraiment mauvaise. Manque de rangement cuisine (surtout quand on y reste 9 jours). Problème d'insonorisation (on entend les chaises traînées des voisins d'à côté et du dessus, ainsi que leurs discussions jusque tard dans la nuit). Porte d'entrée avec un gros trou de bien 4 centimètres de large et presque un centimètre de haut (quand il y a du vent, ça siffle : la nuit c'est assez chiant, très chiant...). Petit déjeuner très basique, pas de variété comme on a pu le connaître dans d'autres appart-hôtel en crête par exemple. C'est assez redondant au bout de 9 jours... Salle de bain sans ventilation : odeur d'humidité très forte. Après la grosse commission, il faut beaucoup de temps avant qu'une autre personne puisse y aller. Pas de sèche cheveux dans salle de bain. Déco mériterait un petit rafraîchissement. Les investissements à faire ne sont pourtant pas énormes mais s'avèrent nécessaires pour justifier le prix...

The location is very good. 2 minutes away walking from the beach and 7 minutes away from the city center by taxi. The rooms are very average, nothing special. The building in general is a bit old, the ceiling started dripping water one night, so they moved us to a new room. The safe is managed by a third party, we had to pay 10€ deposit and 2,5€ daily for using it. The utensils aren’t very clean, and room service isn’t that good or friendly. The reception staff however are very friendly and their reaction to the issues we faced was very fast

O hotel tem uma ótima localização e um staff prestativo porém os quartos não são confortáveis e o wifi não funciona direito em todos os locais, também vale ressaltar que o hotel não tem vagas de estacinamento suficientes para os hóspedes e, caso voce queria sair para jantar a noite, é bem provavel que fique sem vaga e seja obrigado a parar na rua. Alguns objetos de pequeno valor sumiram do nosso quarto, ao informarmos ao hotel nos disserem que não se responsabilizariam e que não podiam fazer nada. O café da manhã tem pouquíssimas opções e não vale o preço. Não vale a estadia, recomendo que procurem outro hotel no Algarve.

Super hôtel, il y a des avis négatif mais ils ont du changé beaucoup de choses. Pour ma part le studio était propre et rénové, cuisine bien équipé, casserole neuve, studio supérieur avec vue magnifique, hôtel silencieux pour 5 nuits passé. TV avec beaucoup de chaînes, très bon accueil à la réception et gâteaux de bienvenu, eau en bouteille. Rapport qualité prix imbattable, j'ai pris un hôtel sur alvor l'an dernier et j'ai été déçu. Les points négatif de l'hôtel sont sur les clients de l'hôtel qui salissent et ne range pas leurs transats après utilisation, (vous faite ça chez vous ?) pas de sèche cheveux Merci dom Pedro je reviendrais certainement.

The pictures that they offer online aren't the same in reality, so is something to think about it. But anyway after that desapoiment, the pool is amazing, nice staff 100%, and the rooms are clean, big, comfortable.

El sitio esta en una buena localizacion. Pero de servicios anda corto. En las cuatro noches no nos han limpiado la habitacion, poniamos el cartel y lo unico que cuando llegabamos nos daban toallas, papel higienico y se llevaban la basura. Es un tres estrellas cortito. En la ducha no hay donde colocar el jabon y el champu.

Very good, location is nice, staff is very nice and friendly, parking is big and even in the night you could squeeze somewhere to park The only thing is that it looks outdated, need some modern face in the rooms and from time to time to fix the things :) because they break. Otherwise you need a car if you do not want to walk to the town which is not so far anyway. Across the street is a very nice tavern with fresh fish, they guys there are also lovely. Obrigado guys, we felt very good, looking forward to see you again.

Sitio muy bien ubicado y Fácil acceso. Servicio muy profesional. Se está muy cómodo, sitio ideal si se busca tranquilidad. Vistas inmejorables. Si quieres acceder a centro de Lagos enseguida se llega en coche. Hipermercado en coche también cercano.

Nice hotel, very clean and staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Positioned directly opposite the beach and there is a bus service into town as well as a road train.

Nice hotel opposite the main beach and away from the busy harbour area in a quiet position. Staff very friendly and hotel spotlessly clean and is in the process of bring upgraded. Our apartment whilst very nice was a bit sparsely furnished but what we had was new. Free WiFi and satellite TV. Really good value for money, worth giving it a go!

Old beach front hotel. Slowly being totally refurbished. No hair dryer, for those who need one! Only thing missing. 8 am builders start. Location excellent. Staff very good. Early season, so not many residents. Pay extra for the safe opening pin, 9 euro for 4 nights 4 to 5 stars when finished.

The hotels is across from the beach which offers a long walk in either directions. Walking to Lagos was about a 20 mins following a path just across the street which at time follows the railway. To cross into Lagos, there is a pedestrian bridge just behind the marina which bring you right into the malacon along the main street with lots of restaurants. Walking further south along Av. dos Descobrimentos, the sidewalks lead to a town square were more restaurants are located. It is a fascinating walk, but be careful of pickpockets as usual.

Nice view, and fairly clean. It rained heavily the night we were there and caused some flooding. The funny thing is that they provided us with some plastic tubs in the closet for the flooding. It was also very cold at night when we went in April and the unit did not have heat. I believe it would be very nice during the summer season though.

Gute geräumige Appartements, absolut strandnah und unweit zu allem in Lagos. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis gut.

Super séjour de quelques jours.

Localización inmejorable para ir a la playa, están renovando las habitaciones. Espero que pongan mamparas en la ducha y aumenten el menaje de cocina. El personal súper amable.

Hotel simples, porém muito bem localizado.

Showing its age. A pretty basic, clean apart-hotel with a small swimming pool. 100 metres from the expansive Meia Praia beach. It has a tiny playground and games room but overall not really suited for kids/young families. About a 20 - 25 minute walk to Lagos town centre

Das Studio wahr eher spärlich ausgerüstet. Es fehlten gewisse Gegenstänge wie eine richtige Pfanne oder ein anständiger Kochlöffel. Die einrichtung ist eher alt, aber noch in gutem Zustand. Die Zimmer wurden Täglich gereinigt. Für die Reisezeit Dezember war es leider auch im studio zu kalt (auch mit den drei Elektroheizungen, welche uns ins zimmer gestelt wurden). Personal ist sehr freundlich.

It's a little "tired" Needs a good coat of paint and Newer Furnishings. However for time of year it was a reasonably cheaper option.

Justito, antiguo, sin aire acondicionado, desayuno justito de variedad. Eso sí, muy bien ubicado cerca de la playa.

We had a great view on the balcony and room was kept clean for the 8-days we stayed. I'd recommend hiring a bike. (it's cheap too). We found this so helpful and more enjoyable when getting to and from Lagos Marina etc. Beach is directly opposite hotel and what a beautiful view it is. We enjoyed the pool at the hotel and felt safe. We never tried the restaurant directly across (that's on the beach) but it looks nice and handy for a few drinks as it's a 1-2minute walk back.

La ubicación perfecta y el personal del hotel muy amable pero las instalaciones son las de origen (1988) y no hay aire acondicionado. Pedimos un ventilador y nos lo facilitaron sin problema, hemos estado bien pero necesita una renovación.

La situación está genial, aunque en la habitación vimos algunas cosas q a mi personalmente no me gustaron, una gotera dentro del armario, con humedad incluida claro esta, y la bañera no desagua bien por lo que se queda el agua ahí bastante rato. Vinieron a limpiar el baño a las 5 de la tarde. Y el restaurante del hotel con una carta súper corta y nada apetecible y encima muy muy caro

Decent location on meia praia, with great views from all sea facing rooms. 10-15 minute walk to marina so be prepared for this. Rooms are fitted with all manner of practical items for use in kitchens, albiet the kitchen is quite small with no oven, also very little light in kitchen area. Powerful showers and very high standard bathroom all round. Beds fine but annoying that all double rooms are two singles pushed together. Living area large and with a huge TV that has plenty of English channels. Balcony large too. Air con was good but silly system whereby you have to call up reception to have it turned on or off.

Super accueil. Prise en charge rapide et efficace. La dame à l accueil parlait français et nous a suivi pour traduire pendant la consultation. La carte européenne est prise en compte.

Tudo impecavel desde o pequeno almoço ate ao pessoal , muito simpaticos . Só o apartamento necessita um pouco de retoques.

Ubicado frente a una playa en la margen izquierda de la desembocadura del río en Lagos, en el algarve portugués. Dispone de aparcamiento gratuito y wifi gratis. El hotel necesita una renovación ya que se está quedando viejo. El hotel no acepta animales. Es recomendable preguntar si tu habitación tiene aire acondicionado ya que no todas lo tienen.

Large apartment with all the entities for a low price. They also have a pool, bar, 24hour reception and are 5min walk from the beaches.

Nice enough hotel. There seems to be a lot of differences between rooms priced the same - some had cookers, others had air con - in the summer the rooms get very hot if the sun is on them so get air con if possible. I was told there were no better rooms when I tried to change mine, only ones facing the pool which were in the sun all day. I later realised that the sun never actually hit the windows of those rooms so they are probably cooler. Nice pool and was always able to get seats easily. The attached restaurant for which they offer 10% discount isn't that good, you're better off popping into the old town for good places to eat. Very close to beach though, which is really nice

Aspetos muito negativos: falta de ar condicionado nos quartos; só existe wireless na receção e com fraco sinal; pequeno almoço fraco ( pouca diversidade, sem fruta, iogurtes,...); a limpeza/ manutenção da zona da piscina é realizada mesmo antes de abrir (10:00), ficando as espreguiçadeiras molhadas. Aspeto positivo: localização (em frente à praia).

Usine à touriste des années 90. Personnel peut accueillant. Petite piscine. Pas de climatisation. Déco et ambiance sans intérêt. Studio propre mais équipements vieux et minimum. Parking extérieur non fermé. Prix élevé.

Muito fraquinho, não merece as 3 estrelas. Instalações: são muito antigas e como tal, nada confortáveis. Estão claramente a precisar de renovação. Crianças (bebés): Não disponibilizam as condições adequadas para estadias com bebés. Disponibilizaram uma cama de viagem com um colchão demasiado usado e muito fininho, praticamente equivalente a não existir qualquer colchão. Tivemos de utilizar as almofadas do sofá a fazer de colchão para a cama de viagem. Estivemos num apartamento com kitchenette mas não têm disponível cadeira de alimentação para bebés, nem mesmo no sitio onde é servido o pequeno almoço. Limpeza: Péssima! Durante a semana inteira de estadia o chão nunca foi lavado, aliás nem quando entrei o chão se encontrava lado, estava apenas aspirado (tenho uma bebe a gatinhar e o estado da roupa dela não era de todo resultado de um chão lavado!). A reposição das toalhas nem sempre era feita de acordo com o número de pessoas alojadas no apartamento. A limpeza não é efetuada ao Domingo e nem oferecem qualquer solução para, por exemplo, o lixo, mandaram-me literalmente ir ao caixote do lixo e explicaram-me exactamente em que rua ficava. A limpeza não engloba a kitchenette ou qualquer utensílio de cozinha! Existiam utensílios de cozinha muito mal lavados desde do momento que entrei no apartamento. Além de tudo isto, a pouca limpeza que é feita é realizada a horas demasiado tarde. Existiu vários dias que recusei a limpeza porque a minha bebe já estava a dormir a sesta. Pequeno-almoço: Péssimo e não vale de todo o preço! É caríssimo para a qualidade do mesmo. Além da variedade ser mínima e de ser sempre a mesma pouca coisa, nem sequer eram de qualidade. Empregados: A condizer com hotel, péssimos! Nada prestáveis e nada simpáticos. Localização: Para quem quer apenas praia é a única coisa positiva deste hotel, é apenas atravessar a estrada. Para a noite (restaurantes, comércio) já é necessário uma deslocação de carro para o centro de Lagos. Wi-fi: Apenas na recepção, nem no sitio do restaurante existe sinal e é mesmo ao lado da recepção. Inadmissível nos dias de hoje! Ar Condicionado: o apartamento em que fiquei não tinha A/C e o calor era mais que muito. Mais uma vez inadmissível nos dias de hoje. Mas existia um aquecedor! O que num destino em frente à praia fará todo o sentido... ou não! Em suma, precisa de uma renovação geral e não merece as 3 estrelas ou a pontuação atribuída em determinados sites.

Good space, very good swimming pool and location. The hotel is a little old but spacious and very quiet. Good for families with children. Could be a lot better just with more attention to small details.

25 minute walk into town no Internet in the bedroom and it doesn't always work in the lounge area, unhelpful staff can't recommend this hotel my first time in Portugal was not a good experience.

Simple appartment, but everything you need is there. Great view from the terrace. Clean room and swimming pool. Just crossing the street and you're at the wonderful Meia praia beach. Lagos centre is 2 km away, hence rent a car. Pingo Doce supermarket in 1 km. Only minus: the creaky bed. Lagos is the nicest town we saw on the Algarve. Lovely!
