I stayed here in May 2019 while walking the camino. It was not a good experience. Spoke very rude - telling me to close the windows as it lets flys in; gave me the wrong room; and told me to turn off all my lights. It got worse when the owner decided to discuss American politics while having dinner. It was truly an unpleasant experience.

Un buen sitio para tomar algo. Bonitas vistas.

El lugar es tranquilo, ideal para descansar. Su dueño es amable y atento. Las habitaciones y sala común limpias. Hasta ahí todo bien. El baño se comparte entre las 3 habitaciones. Doy 3 estrellas porque, en ocasiones, se siente más como si alguien te invitara a su casa y no a quedarse en un hotel: se debe ser muy cuidadoso con la limpieza y el dueño pareció importarle que la salida la hiciéramos a las 10 a.m. y no antes. La cena estuvo buena pero fue la más cara que pagamos en el camino de Santiago (€20) y también la única que no incluyó las bebidas.

My husband and I stayed here for one night while walking the Camino. It was easy to find as there is signage leading you from the Camino to the Casa. We were greeted by Zezinha and shown to the guest house which is very beautiful! The lower level is a shared area with some seating and a fridge stocked with refreshments and light snacks (not included in price but all very reasonably priced). The upper level has the 3 guest rooms. Our room was very clean and comfortable and it's obvious that great love and pride has been put into the rooms. The Casa is not close to any restaurants by foot but Zezinha offered to drive us to a nearby restaurant or have dinner with them at the Casa. I would recommend having dinner at the Casa. It's a shared dining experience with the other guests staying at the guest house. The meal is prepared by Zezinha and her husband, Fernando, hosts the dinner. Refreshments are not included with the meal but you can choose what you'd like the drink. Fernando had a selection of wines that ranged in price from 9 euros/bottle up. It was a lovely meal with great conversation. I will be honest in that I was a bit nervous booking here because of some of the reviews that I read on Google/TripAdvisor. I just wanted to say that I feel those reviews do not represent the actual experience of staying here. The guesthouse is beautiful and it's obvious that Zezinha and Fernando take great pride in it and sometimes that means that you have to remind people to take their shoes off before going inside as it's not always cultural norm to remove footwear prior to entering a household. I would stay here again and I'd recommend others to stay here as well.

Calidad y atención de primera entre naturaleza y tranquilidad.

The place was lovely but I felt very ripped off by a 40 euro laundry bill for a pile of hiking clothes that will go in the garbage after the Camino. There was nothing on the information sheet in the room about the cost, nor did Fernando the host explain when offering to do my laundry. I was explicit about nothing special, throw it all in the washer/dryer together which he agreed with. But with the 40 euro bill he said each piece was done individually with a separate cost for each. My bad for not asking but I would have been ok with anything reasonable (I did the same in Lisbon for 6 euro). Expensive lesson!

O sr. Fernando uma simpatia. A casa uma maravilha. Sem duvida que irei voltar mais vezes. Recomendo.

Local perfeito para uma escapadela de fim de semana. Espaço pitoresco e com decoração simples e muito característica da zona do Minho, transmitindo.nos uma sensação de regresso ao passado.Pelo Forno de Lenha e Fachada da Casa. Possui internet, tv por cabo e esta situada perto do caminho de Santiago. Muito concorrida na altura do Verão, convém fazer marcação antes de aparecer. Estilo antigo mas a casa está totalmente equipada. Com sistema de som, ar condicionado (quente e frio) frigorífico, microondas, fogão e congelador. Muito espaço verde e espreguiçadeiras. No coração do distrito leva.se deste local um pouco da alma do Minho. Aconselho!

Sehr schön gelegen und mit freundlichen Gastgebern!

Eine ganz tolle Unterkunft mit sehr sehr viel Charme. Wundervolle Atmosphäre. Liebevoll eingerichtet mit Händchen für jedes Detail. Im Erdgeschoss befinden sich die gemeinsam zu nutzenden Räumlichkeiten, in Obergeschoss die Zimmer der Gäste. Das historische, top renovierte Steingebäude liegt eingebettet auf dem parkähnlichen Areal der Hausherren. Sehr lieber, herzlicher und zuvorkommender Empfang durch die Hausherrin, die uns jeden Wunsch mit Herzlichkeit und Gastfreudlichkeit/Gastfreundschaftlichkeit erfüllte. Ca. 800m abseits vom Camino und etwas einen kleinen Berg rauf. Ein Umweg der sich mehr als lohnt, selbst nach der etwas anspruchsvolleren Etappe hinter Pontes de Lima. 5-Sterne mit dickem Ausrufezeichen!!! Besser kann man nicht relaxen und die Akkus wieder aufladen.

Sehr zu empfehlen! Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Haus mit viel Atmosphäre. Sehr ruhige Lage. Gegen Aufpreis sehr gutes Abendessen (von der Hausherrin). Reichhaltiges Frühstück. Liegt in der Nähe zum Jakobsweg und bietet viel Luxus, wenn man mal die Herbergen satt hat.

Liebevoll renoviertes und eingerichtetes Landhaus. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, das Zimmer geräumig und das Bad super ausgestattet. Es gab ein dreigängiges Menü am Abend sowie zwischendurch immer einen netten Plausch mit den Vermietern. Wir waren auf dem Jakobsweg hier gelandet und können das auch für einen Erholungsurlaub wärmstens empfehlen.
