Wonderfull weekend spent in the most beautifull region of Portugal. The host Known by the locals as Paulo do Furado prepared a delicious welcome dinner with a grilled beef of «Cachena» (local breed of cattle). The flavour and tenderness was similar to better than a waygu kobe beef. after dinner we went on a spectacular jeep safari around the house were we were solucky to watch savage horses and cachena cows walking arround their natural habitat together with some foxes. It was scary to listen to the crying wolves in the other side of the mountain. The nature arround the house is fabulous. you can walk, ride a bike, ride a horse, swim in the river, explore the local handcraft and local foods. On day two I was presented with another dinner, now the special Paulo do Furado Cod. Cod fish is a must eat in PT. Paulo's recipe is a milk tendered cod with a special type of fries all togeather with olive oil and baked. Not only the house was new, confortable, clean, with internet, but the surrounding is excellent to relax, various sports activities and explore.

Simplesmente espetacular. No topo da serra com paisagens de tirar o fôlego. Casa ótima ideal para relaxar uns dias. Bom para levar animais de estimação.

A casa é extremamente agradável para se usufruir de um sossego ímpar. A natureza envolvente é maravilhosa! Não é à toa dizer que o tempo parece que pára... pára para podermos usufruir de tudo até de uma visita diária da nossa nova amiga raposinha que quase que vinha comer à nossa mão! Incrível e indescritível a sensação de aproximação! Agradecer e parabenizar o Sr. Paulo Vaz, pessoa de extrema simpatia. Adoramos e haveremos de lá voltar com toda a certeza.
