This may just look like an ordinary restaurant but behind closed doors George Gomez is a con man who scams people and families. If you have any property or savings he and Karen will combine their tactics to entice and manipulate you to invest one way or another. They’ve done this numerous times and they will do it again so please be aware!!!!!!

Stopped off here after our trip to Benagil Caves. Very lovely, cosy atmosphere and very welcoming hosts, great choice of cocktails and food on offer, had the peri peri chicken and my partner had a pizza, all the food was cooked brilliantly and reasonable prices. Lovely family run place.

A simple dinner menu, but with enough choice to suit most people. There's a good kids menu, and the food and service were good.

Helt greit. Pluss for happy hour fra 12-18

A* service! Arrived after 1 am to our temporary accommodation and after unpacking etc, placed an order and the delivery guy walked right to the door after 2am with hot pizzas! Legend

The fresh fish was quite good but portions were smaller than in the past and rather expensive. Service was friendly and helpful.

Wir waren hier, weil uns die Pizza empfohlen worden ist, der Teig ist sehr labberig anstatt schön cross, deshalb einen Punkt Abzug. Das BBQ Chicken hingegen war sehr lecker. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und alles ist auf englische Gäste eingerichtet. Wer also landestypisches Essen sucht, sollte lieber 10 Meter weiter in Helders Restaurant gehen, ansonsten kann man hier einkehren.

AVOID!!! The menu in this restaurant is OVERPRICED and FALSE. What they serve is frozen food directly out of microwave. For the same price you can get quality fresh grilled food. The place is a scam.

We did not have a good experience at this resturant. We ordered BBQ chicken but it was just fozen food with bbq sauce on the side, other dishes were bad as well.

Taste of McDonald’s food at the price of gourmet food. We ordered calamaris that was deep fried (not mentioned in the menu)with a small portion of salad( not fresh one). Place to be avoided!

Very basic menu but cooked very well, we had scampi, steak and piri piri chicken, all very tasty, reasonably priced and decent portion size. The real gem here is the staff, friendly and courteous. The pool tables were a real hit with all the family and we spent a few hours here eating, drinking and making happy memories

Like a boomerang we always come back to Algarve 2000 . Happy relaxed atmosphere. We have met some great friends here. Try the chicken piri piri. Best in town. No scrawny chicken meat at this establishment. The beef curry is superb..made to your liking. The noodles also fantastic. If you like your coctails, there is a wide range suitable for all tastes. We love it here. Thanks George, Mae ,Karen Shawn and Gavin. Keep up the high standards.

The service is excellent. Highly recommend the Malaysian curries for lunch or dinner. The kids menu has a good selection.
