We came at a rush hour so the wait was a bit long, but the brilliant food made up for it. We had filet mignons and they were perfect. Totally recommended. And the sea view was fab

Lovely location, quite limited menu. Food was okay, my kid loves the fries. Gf was happy with the omelette. My prawns were okay, small portion, one of them not cleaned well. Desserts okay too.

First time in Portugal. First meal in Portugal too. Tried the filet mignon Portuguese style, delicious! As were the starters and garlic bread. Sat outside overlooking the sandy beach. Staff really friendly, had a laugh with them. Picture is avocado and prawn starter.

Excelente localização, de referir que o sumo de Laranja Natural, era sumo de garrafa sem gas(e do pior) e o pior de tudo ter palhinhas de plastico numa praia... foram muitos simpaticos mas há espaço a melhorar em muito...

L'endroit est sympathique mais d'année en année la qualité du service reste à désirer. Les prix augmentent d'année en année et la quantité diminue. Malheureusement!

Empregados que têm o estigma de que o cliente não pode pedir um prato para duas pessoas. Quem faz isso não tem dinheiro para pagar. Amigos abram a pestana. Estou ligada à hotelaria há já alguns anos eu e o meu marido. Não sabem o que posso ou não comer mas dizem logo que se quiser mais algum prato a seguir vai demorar muito conseguiram trazer um polvo à lagareiro primeiro que umas sardinhas assadas que só apareceram depois de já ter comido com o meu filho, tenham vergonha e pensem que se não tivéssemos dinheiro para ir ao Algarve, íamos para o Sul de Espanha que pagamos metade e são bem mais atenciosos. São uns preconceituosos e mal educados que se esquecem de metade do serviço e servem sardinhas cruas ao cliente ao fim de hora e meia. Aprendam a ser profissionais, pois o Algarve ainda não era conhecido por estrangeiros já os vossos compatriotas Portugueses vos enchiam os bolsos.

Vi cá pela primeira vez e estava bom. Bom peixinho, carne tenrra e empregados simpáticos. Decidimos voltar a ir, mas desta vez com amigos. Desta vez a comida e o serviço não nos agradou...
Pedimos e pagamos uma poste de 4 cm de altura e veio uma de 2 cm. A carne não estava tão saborosa como a da outra vez.
Pareceu que, pela segunda vez termos ido com amigos fez com que eles nos enganaçem para fazer dinheiro

Хорошо расположен на пляже. Работают русские девочки официантки, подскажут что выбрать. Заказывали рыбный суп вкусный наваристый с рыбкой, салат из томатов обычный, и бакалау треску не плохо, но сделали жирновато, многовато масла(я просто мало ем масла) мидии так себе мелкие.

Limited veggie options on the menu but went out of the way to make us something good and different when we asked. Moved us from inside to outside as soon as a space became available. I had the lamb cutlets and they were delicious and was a generous portion, couldn't have asked for more.

My food was good and there was a value for money.
No one attended to sit us, we took a table by ourselves.
We were not given any menus unless I stood up and went to get them myself.
The staff is extremely unattendive it took them 20 minutes to collect the money and not bring the change back after another 20 minutes.
If I wouldn't ask I wouldn't get the bill if I wouldn't ask I wouldn't get the change.
My glass was full of sand in the bottom.
All in all go to other restaurants around as they have 3 beach bars.

Cataplana tasted good but was spoiled by dirty mussels that should never have been included in dish. No apology for this. Took an hour from seating to serve first food. Disappointed.

Have been visiting this beach side restaurant for 15 years. Alway a good meal, sometimes a bit full, but that shows the quality, locals dine here as well. Best to book at busy times and if you want anyting special then a day or two ahead and they will normally oblige with food or parties.

Se em 2016 foi um 5 estrelas, este ano apenas um 3 estrelas. Aquela praia merecia um restaurante como a antigo Galeão. Veremos o que nos reserva 2018.

Perfectly decent. Don't get why a lot of waiters look clearly upset when you just want to have a drink. The place is half-empty. A full terrace is better than a half-empty one....

Make sure you book!! It's very popular & people keep going back, always a good sign. They squeezed us in "unbooked", gave us an hour & a half to eat & leave & served us an awesome dinner. Kids loved their food too (they don't do fancy fish) & the views are fantastic. We have booked to go back already & cannot wait! Apologies for the slightly eaten plates of stuffed grilled squid & whole prawns, both were cooked to perfection.

Horrible comida y servicio muy deficiente. Lo unico "bueno" es que la cocina no cierra pero es caro, la comida mal cocinada (hemos pedido unos mejillones y estaban crudos) y materia prima de mala calidad (se salva ligeramente la ensalada mixta). Dudo que me vuelvan a ver por aquí.

Der schlechteste Cheeseburger den ich gegessen habe. Alles nur Massenabfertigung. Sorry, aber das können viele andere Strandbars 1000x besser.
Einen Stern gibt es für die Lage und den Ausblick und den 2. Stern für die kalte Cola und das kalte Bier.

The service and food was fantastic! Prawns for starters were delicious and the red snapper for the main was the best fish I have ever had. Worth the visit but book in advance to sit inside in case of a fresh Atlantic wind.

Nul. 1 heure et 30 minutes pour être servi d'un croque monsieur alors qu'il n'y avait personne dans le restaurant ! On aurait préféré passer cette heure a la plage mais il fallait attendre que les cuisiniers aient fini de manger et leur pause café clope.. pr info il était pourtant 11h45 qd nous sommes arrivés.. servis a 13h00..

DO NOT EAT HERE !! Staff are really rude, they got are order wrong twice and when we asked for the bill we were charged 9 euro each for breakfast even tho some of us just had beans on one slice of toast and were charged for full breakfast.

Un hamburger sans pain pour 7€ c'est possible. De compter 4 bières au lieu de 2 dans l'addition c'est possible aussi. Par rapport à d'autres bars du même type sur d'autres plages (on a fait toute la côte) c'est malheureusement le moins bien. Quand je vois dans les autres avis service sympathique etc je me dis que je suis pas tombé le bon jour. Je mets pas moins car la vue est jolie

Visited this restaurant two years in a row now to have our last dinner in Algarve here each year. Both times both the food and service were excellent and if we're back in Algarve sometime in the future, we'll most certainly come back. Also the view from the terrace is excellent, especially in the evening. Highly recommended.
