4 people dinning 4 steaks @ 24 euros each steak was asked to be cooked different there was only 2 of us got the rite steak no appology
Advice to you write your orders down so you get it rite wont be going back

Restaurant aan het strand in het oude centrum van Albufeira. Smaakvolle, volgens mij huisgemaakte, gerechten. Ik vond de bacalhau (kabjauw) uit de oven heerlijk.

Vår favoritt på strandpromenaden i Albufeira. Topp beliggenhet og god mat. Happt hour på drikke om vinteren. Travelt, populært sred der det blir fort fullt til lunsj, så viktig å komme tidlig. God service og moderate priser.

Sit and watch the world go by on a sunny afternoon with a few drinks and maybe some tapas. What more would you want?, we always spend a few afternoons there when in Albufeira.

Great views and a very busy place. Service not the quickest. Seem more eager getting people in than actually serving them when they are there. Food was good and the price not too bad.

They have the views so the food and service is not their strongest point. Food was ok ( you can do better going to a place of the beach boulevard) but the portions were small. Although restaurant was not full the wait was longer than in other restaurants in center of Albufeira. That being said it is nice to eat just off the beach. Prices are reasonable.

Food was very nice. Service terrible. A couple on the next table asked for 2 coffees and were refused, because staff were too busy to stand at a coffee machine. So they walked out.
No apologies, . Quite shocking really.

Op dit terras in Albufeira kun je heerlijk chillen. Doorgaans is het een druk bezocht terras met uitzicht op het strand en de zee.
Je kunt er heerlijk 'mensen kijken.
Het personeel is vriendelijk en attent. Louisiana is geschikt voor een hapje en/of drankje!

Good simple place to get Spanish and somewhat Louisiana style food. Not quite creole but still good food and quality. Peri peri chicken was good, mild and not super spicy (most likely for the waves or British tourists) and would have been good if a bit more hot. Food was quick and good though.

Great location opposite the beach and quite a sun trap. Tapas very tasty and good value. I particularly liked the chicken 'pie' - not pie in the traditional sense, but a sort of fried croquette with chicken. Very busy, however, and service can be quite slow.

Bon restaurant de bord de mer à Albufeira. Tarifs très corrects pour le lieu et nourriture de bonne qualité. 37 € pour 50 cl de sangria, 40 cl de Superbock, une soupe de poisson, un plat de sardines, des ribbs caramélisés

De locatie is heel goed. Het is er altijd druk dus dat gaf ons de indruk dat het er goed was maar het eten viel ons tegen. Maar wellicht ook omdat we bij verschillende andere restaurants in Albufeira juist heel positief verrast werden.

Nice pub/restaurant overlooking Albufeira old town beach.
We only had a snack for our lunch, however the food was good, quick service and value for money.
Oh yes, and the views were stunning.
We would definitely visit this pub again if we are in town.

Muy recomendable, este es el sitio en el que mejor comimos durante nuestra estancia en Albufeira.
La atención por parte del personal muy buena.
La comida exquisita además de a muy buen precio. Una tapa bien cargada de Calamares por 4€.
El arroz con marisco riquísimo, recomendable 100%.
Y el postre, un postre típico y artesanal la guinda del pastel, buenísimo.
Merece la pena comer aquí y el precio está bien.

Excelente restaurante, muito bem localizado frente à praia dos pescadores e com uma grande esplanada.
Escolhemos um jantar à base de marisco, por permitir uma refeição leve e muito do nosso agrado.
Ameijoas à bolhão pato e camarões flambeados à Louisiana, acompanhados com pão caseiro e umas imperiais fresquinhas - estava excelente.
O atendimento foi muito simpático e prestável.

Beautiful location, friendly welcome & seating, drinks arrived promptly having ordered both drinks and food together.
That's the good stuff.
We waited & we waited & we waited. We watched others sit and be fed for fifty minutes. When the food arrived, nothing complicated, sea bream & pork loin in a tomato sauce, both meals were cold, the vegetables raw, the pork loin tough, stringy, well overcooked, the synthetic sole of my man made shoe more appetizing at this point. The sauce cold and gloopy. We tried a few mouthfulls.
The rather disinterested waited looked at our plates."You no like?". Politely I said no and told him why. "I see manager." We waited a further 5 minutes; got the bill. Paid and left. This is the third time in two years that we have eaten at this restaurant, the first two times I would echo all the positive comments. This last time was a disgrace. We will not be going back and if no star was a mark; this restaurant has it.

Tolle Lage am Strand mit Meerblick. Sehr gutes Essen mit abwechslungsreicher Speisekarte. Super Preise. Tolles Personal, insbesondere die nette Dash. Netter Blick auf die Promenade mit vorbeischlendernden Touristen.

What a shame. A beautiful view, a nice place, but 2 out of 3 times we ate here they got the meal wrong. I would not go back a fourth time and can't in all honesty say I recommend it.

Not good. Wish I could give it a minus. Went to a 30th birthday celebration. Checked in advance they could accommodate vegetarians in the party only 2 out of 11.
They said they could. They did not. They ran out Of most of the starters. Then they did not have any vegatarian main. No apology.
Said they could "put together" a plate of rice veggies etc.. they actually brought out 4 plates of vegetable side dishes. Rice , potatoes , salad and boiled vegetables. 6 euros per plate too bland to eat.
Those lucky enough to have an actual meal did not get what they asked for ... They just brought out substitutions without checking.
We complained about the service the waitress apologised and told the manager who declined to come and speak to us . Very poor the waitress ( who tried very hard to be accommodating) was embarrassed by the situation.
the bill was extortionate of course. ...
Basically our celebration was ruined. This place is better at tempting people in than it is at accommodating those in there. I think the beachfront location and reliance on tourists rather than locals means they do not try very hard.
Service is slow. Food not nice , attitude is bad.
My advice is to go elsewhere.

Shocking .... don't eat here. Staff are little chavs. They forgot my main and when it did arrive it was overdone. Poor compared to other places nearby. It is cheaper but not worth it.

Slecht...broodje hamburger..t broodje was zo droog dat het verkruimelde toen ik een hap nam..alleen t vlees eruit gevist..omdat bediende niet reageerde op klacht.
Befiening was naar...drankjes op tafel naast ons hooien..omdat madam geen zin had paar passen meer te zetten.

I am currently sitting in the restaurant. My first meal in Portugal. My clams starter was beautiful, as is the Portuguese wine. However I ordered the Louisiana FILLET steak with sliced potatoes, it was not a fillet. It was the toughest rump steak smothered in a gravy to hide it's true nature, it was surrounded by (previously frozen) sliced chips in a serving dish. I tried cutting the meat that was not medium rare as I had asked. It was well done. We had to pour our own wine while other diners were chatted with and had their wine poured. My partner has eaten here before and loved it and was very disappointed on his return. Our server admitted that I was not the only one to complain about the quality of the meat and had a look himself and said it was very hard to "separate", describing it like a "net". 2 starters and 2 main courses and a bottle of wine, 1 beer and water came to €71...
Our server said he will be speaking to the owner tomorrow as it is happening too often.
I however, am hungry, my first meal in Portugal and it was a disgrace. 1 star given in order for me to give my review and for the clams. We won't be back. I can't believe we've been charged for a course I couldnt eat. I don't blame the front of house staff. The chef should be either sacked or the owner should consider another venture. Every other restaurant was full except The Louisiana..

The food was soo good. And for once my friends could order cod without bones in it! And the omlette i had was delicious. Everything was amazing and reasonably priced, accompanied by fantastic views of the beach.

Fantastisch uitzicht over zee op perfect terras. Ideaal voor lunch en diner in een ongedwongen sfeer. Goed aan de prijs maar dan heb je ook wat, betaal maar wat meer voor een middag c.q. avond zonder ergernis.
Zeer aanbevolen, met Carnaval zijn we daar weer. Groetjes.......

Temps d'attente pour l'arrivée des plats, pommes frites froides,poulet Piri Piri immangeable, steak de cheval pas bon et cuisson laisse â désirer.. Salade pas assaisonné et quant à la sangria plus de glaçon que de contenu.. Personnel accueillant pour y entrer mais introuvable pour les demandes. Déçu

Best food in Albufeira so far. Service very friendly but slow... not so much of an issue as the house wine is very quaffable... but be prepared to wait for your food. I'd definitely return.
