Haben uns flambierte Krabben, Brot mit Oliven und Aufstrich und als Nachtisch Algarve Delight bestellt. Alles hat erstklassig geschmeckt! Die Krabben stammen nicht aus einer Zucht sondern aus dem Meer :)

Restaurante situado en la localidad de benagil que es un pueblo pequeño. La mayoría de los restaurantes están uno al lado del otro.
La comida típica del lugar de buena calidad. Especialmente vistosa la brocheta de rape con gambas.
Muy rica la lubina con almejas y también los postres, concretamente los que tomamos la tarta de manzana estaba muy rica y la típica de la zona que es la del Algarve con alfarroba almendras e higo.
La ensalada del Algarve no era lo que habíamos visto por internet, se trataba de un picadillo de pimientos cebolla y tomates.
El servicio fue muy atento y muy amable, se puede recomendar este sitio.

Wurden leider nicht bedient... nur ein paar komische Blicke zugeworfen. Vermutlich weil wir in kurzer Hose und Tanktop waren... aber es wurde leider kein Wort mit uns gewechselt obwohl die Bedienung den Tisch neben uns ein paar mal bedient hat.

Sehr zu empfehlen. Wir hatten als Vorspeise Ceviche, das auf einem leckeren Salat mit Avocado und Mango kam. Danach hatten wir die Fischplatte für 2 - sehr lecker! 3 kleine Kartoffeln und etwas Gemüse, das in Öl und Knoblauch geschwenkt war, was uns sehr gut geschmeckt hat. Davon waren wir pappsatt und würden auch wiederkommen! Service war auch nett.

RACIST! Don’t bother coming if you’re Asian. Waiters have terrible attitude against Asian tourists and treat white people with a smile. The waiter ignored us and took him an hour to take our orders, half an hour for the food to come. Expensive but average food.

They turn away Asian people and say they are busy but let white people go in. Wouldn’t take our order for like half an hour while ordering for tables that arrive after us, they end up finishing eating before we can order.

They waited for a long time until they gave us the menu, then we had to wait a long time for the food as well. All other people already got their food, but my family was still waiting. Took them an hour to take our orders, half an hour for the food to come. Expensive but average food. Staff have terrible attitude. Perhaps it was because we are Asian.

Nice spot with good food. Grilled meat place for sharing is lovely. Fresh, quality meat is grilled nicely to give the best flavours. It was accompanied with beautiful grilled pineapple, fresh orange and stir fried vegs. They complimented each other very well. One thing I would criticise was the big amount of food. I would prefer a third less. Service was friendly and professional.

We booked a table for 5 and everyone loved the food, definitely worth the price. The staff are friendly. Today I only saw 2 waiters and alot of tables were booked and they were also communicating with eachother which was pretty cool. Recommended.

Good food, especially the salads. Beer is Super Bock but you can’t have everything! Friendly, welcoming staff.
Handy for the beach and cliffs but pricier than the local alternatives. Menu in Portuguese, English German etc.

Terrible service, and they only had four small tables occupied at the time. Waited for 20 minutes and we never even got a menu to take a look at. Two other tables left almost at the same moment as us, for the same exact reason.

Après la visite de la grotte..décidons d aller manger au littoral . L attente est très très très long pour manger ..ns avons commandé deux salades..... une heure d attente.. il fesait très chaud 36 °il a fallu que que ns réclamions une boisson..alors que les serveurs passaient devant....si vs voulez manger rapidement je ne vs le conseil pas ...sinon les salades étaient bonnes ouf...!!!!

Overall, disappointed. The staff were lovely, but not enough of them to cope with a group of 8 when only 2 other tables were occupied.
The fresh fish was good, but at 120 euro for 4 portions you expect more.
Each course saw 1 dish fail to arrive.
2 main courses had to go back as they were cold.
At over 300 euro for 8, not good enough sadly.

Amazing food. Is one of the best in the area with acceptable prices. The Linguine with fresh sea food were delicious. We had a good lunch time. Highly recommended!

Trato lamentable. Preguntamos si podíamos tomar un par de cervezas en la terraza con nuestro perro y nos contestaron muy desagradablemente que con el perro no se puede... El tono del camarero no ha sido nada adecuado.

For more than 15 minutes we were sitting in this restaurant and no one to take us an order, there are four waiters in restaurant and some of them just standing there. I asked one of waiter very politely and wished to be ordered because our small child was getting really tired. Unfortunately we got a very rude answer, something like another waiter will come to take us order. Again we wait for another 5 minutes and still no one is serving us, finally we decided to leave this restaurant.
It is pity to see the restaurant running like this, I have no clues how these waiters split tables or choose their own customers to take orders, I can not judge the food, but the service they have provided is very disappointing. I would not recommend this restaurant if you are traveling with children or having tight time schedule.

Restaurant très sympathique avec une jolie terrasse avec l’océan au fond du paysage.
Le service, rien à dire (+ parle français).
La salade césar est très bonne!

I visited benagil cave on my return ask the restaurant staff to use toilet because there is not toilet surrounding place he charged €1 for using toilet very strange for me ... not anywhere in Portugal have that experience... not recommended if he let me use i will definitely buy something from them ......

Not at all what I was expecting for a vegetarian pasta, but it was absolutely delicious nevertheless. Prices reflect the copious portions. The server was lovely and quickly corrected the fish that was a few seconds undercooked. The shrimp was one of the tastiest my mom has ever eaten.

We came in and hoping that have some rest from our bicycle tour but what we had was unfriendly and unforgettable service. Or maybe they saw ask with our bicycle outfit that's why they didn't make us comfortable.I asked for the MenuCard and the waiter ask me if I just want to have some drink or to eat? What a question from a HIM!!! Why should he ask for drink or to eat, he can give both MenuCard if a costumer ask for!!!
The restaurant was on the good best place but the service from the worker was not to great. Too pity that they have such worker.

Нам очень понравилось! Рыба- огромная порция манкифиш,с гарниром! Хамон свежий с дыней,вообщем закуски тоже оч вкусные! Подача на шампурах-класс! +вино, и самый главный плюс- они работают в обеденное время! Твёрдая 5!

Катаплана вкусная, заявленной на двоих порции хватило с головой, учитывая даже прекрасный аппетит мужа)) стоит попробовать это региональное блюдо, родиной которого считается юг Португалии, район Алгарве. С бутылочкой вина и вкусным десертом ваш обед будет превосходным

Nette Bedienung, leider wurde die Bestellung meiner Frau, der tagesfrische Fisch (ein Knochenfisch) tot gegart (Erwartung war das er glasig serviert wird, leider trat bereits das Eiweiß aus und der Fisch war dadurch trocken). Meine flambierten Garnelen in Öl & Knoblauch waren sehr lecker und die Spagetti Bolognese meiner Tochter waren auch soweit ok.

Food was average. Service was good. Salad was stale. Pasta didn't have any flavor or sauce on it. Bread was dry. Bottle of water was 3euros total 31 euros. Not worth it.
Totally unplease with this place. Go to carvoeiro instead. Enjoy...

An epic experience. They provided free bread and Olives with garlic as well as an amazing housemade Mushroom Pattaya. Had the Seabass Ceviché and it was incredible. The dessert was also impressive and all very reasonably priced!

Na jedzenie trzeba dość długo czekać ale naprawdę warto bo to co dostaniemy jest bardzo dobre. Byliśmy grupą 15 osób i każdy był zadowolony z jakości jedzenia. Duże porcje. Sympatyczna obsługa.

Pescado buenísimo, calidad precio estupenda. Comimos un entrante de queso tradicional,dorada a la parrilla y brocheta de rape a la parrilla cada plato acompañado por patatas y verdura, postre ,café y dos cervezas grandes por 52€. Muy recomendable!

Esperamos más de una hora la comida, y encima estuvieron sirviendo a mesas que llegaron después de nosotros. La comida en cantidad no es algo del otro mundo sobre todo el bacalao y encima el precio es excesivo.

Depois de visitarmos o Algar de Benagil fizemos uma parada para o almoço no O Litoral. O ambiente é perfeito. Atendimento muito bom e simpático. Comemos Dourada grelhada, Costelas de cordeiro e Solha grelhada com legumes. Finalizamos com Pudim de leite, Torta de amêndoas e café espresso.

Wir haben ganz frischen Fisch gegessen. Vorher wurde der Kilopreis offen mitgeteilt, so dass es keine bösen Überraschungen gab (55 € pro Kilo war völlig angemessen). Atmosphäre war absolut freundlich genauso wie die Bedienung. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

We stopped by for a late lunch after checking out the Benagil Sea Cove. Waiter brought out a platter of catches of the day and we selected the red snapper. It was cooked perfectly and fed the two of us, though it cost €54. Other items on the menu were more reasonably priced. Overall the food and service were pleasant.

This place is amazing! The seafood is fresh and tasty. The fish soup and sea bass ceviche was the best I've ever had. The service is also fabulous. Total bill was half of O Pescador but with twice the flavor and service. I highly recommend!
