Mr Freddie is a wonderful restaurant you're treated as old friend. The ambience is superb and the staff are very professional. The food is first class. Would recommend this restaurant everyone

Absolutely fantastic - from start to finish. Fabulous food, excellent services, not cheap but worth every penny. Off the beaten track, so only those willing to take extra 10 minutes drive will reach it, and get well rewarded for the effort!

Wir haben Freddie‘s gewählt, weil es einen schönen Garten hat. Und würden nicht enttäuscht: gemütlich, allerdings auch eher „fine dining“, was mit Kindern tendenziell nicht immer so einfach ist. Ging aber, auch dank dem Personal, ganz ordentlich. Das Essen war durchwegs sehr gut und die Preise sind - wie in der Umgebung üblich - eher im oberen Segment. Speziell Fischgerichte und das „portugiesische Steak“ sind zu empfehlen. Der Service war sehr gut, hätte aber eine Spur aufmerksamer sei können (Getränke), was aber Jammern auf sehr hohem Niveau ist. Ich gebe „nur“ 4 Sterne aus folgendem Grund: mir hat etwas das „Spezielle“ respektive „Eigentümliche“ gefehlt. Menü und Service hätte ich auch in der Schweiz oder in manchem anderen Land mehr oder weniger identisch erhalten. Ich möchte aber die Algarve und Portugal mit ihren Menschen, Kultur und Kulinarität erleben, wenn ich zum „Fine Dining“ gehe. Ein gutes Steal oder einen netten Fisch gibt es auch im Radisson am Flughafen :)

Unfortunately we booked online for 9 pax taxi there - when we arrived we were informed they didnt have a booking for us !! Come back Monday guests leaving today not likely to return.

Limited menu. Oredered Tomohawk Steak to be given Veal. Manager said this should have been explained but waitress forgot. I appreciate some of you may believe this is my mistake but the menu is not clear anymore. Used to be a great place

We had an amazing meal at this restaurant. The service at this restaurant was outstanding and the food was great. It’s a shame that it is such a good restaurant and not as busy as others. Would highly recommend this restaurant if you like fine dining and an exceptional night out.

I've been eating here for (must be 20 odd) years with my family, I used to come with my grandparents and parents as a child and now I take my daughter. The food is always absolutely fantastic and the service second to none! The outdoor setting is so pretty too. Our no 1 restaurant in the Almancil area. Sorry to hear Nuno has left and we wish him all the best.

Fantastic restaurant. Staff are so friendly and polite. They shake your hand as you leave and even guided me out of the car park and checked the traffic as I left. Food was amazing. Monkfish and prawn kebab with wild rice and hot Piri piri sauce (on the side), stone bass in tomato sauce, lamb cutlets was also melt in the mouth, crepe Suzette was delicious and made in front of you . Family friendly . Definitely going again. Price wasn't too bad considering we are in Portugal.

Excellent food, wonderful atmosphere sitting under the leafy branches. When I visited with my family the staff gave really exceptional service, were friendly and attentive and made for a wonderful evening. Definitely recommend checking it out when visiting the Algarve.

Lovely meal tonight at Mr Freddies. Been coming to Vale do Lobo for many years and driven past this restaurant but first time we have eaten there. Beautiful steaks in lovely outdoor surroundings all served by the most friendly staff. Will definitely come again.

Service et accueil tres chaleureux et le personnel est tres professionnel et au petit soin. on nous a servi des amuses bouches comme des fromages accompagnes de miel et configue de fruit. nous avons commandes un boeuf chateau briand, du poisson grille et brochette de poisson. les produits sont frais et le cout est juste. je recommande ce restaurant pour les amoureux et les familles.
