Dean Johnston: The perfect apartment for our situation. We stayed here for 5 weeks during the COVID-19 pandemic since all our travel plans had to be cancelled. Big, comfortable, nice balcony (although only sunny in the late afternoon), washing machine, dishwasher, smartTV, excellent wifi, great couch, terrific bed. The kitchen was fully stocked so we were able to eat every meal in. The building staff was diligent about cleaning common areas, including elevators and doors, although we were always careful to never touch anything anyway. Very close to numerous grocery stores, the malecon, the beach and several interesting walks (inland back roads, cliffs, etc.). We were mostly avoiding public spaces so didn't really use the rooftop lounge and pool area, but it is really nice and would be great under different circumstances. Our apartment was on the street side of the building and we could hear the traffic a little bit but because we were on the 5th floor it was never loud enough to bother us. We really appreciated Raquel making an exception to let us reserve on a flexible basis because of the uncertainty over travel restrictions. Would definitely return!
