Хорошее место, как для гостевого дома. Больше всего понравилась терасса на крыше. Там можно наслаждаться закатом и пить вино. Маленькая собачка на крыше тоже создавала шарм и уют. Хозяйка говорит по английски. В первый день посоветовала, куда можно сходить и ответила на все вопросы. Один из постоянных посетителей рассказал, почему улица и отель называются "Капитан Мор". Оказывается во время кругосветного путешествия тут побывал сам Колумб. Единственный недостаток - отсутствие плиты. Когда на сайте пишут, что есть кухня, то человек рассчитывает на кухне готовить, а не только хранить и разогревать. Но это никак не испортило наш отдых.

Capitão Mor is a wonderful place. Extremely well located and accommodating ownership. It felt like being at home! I would recommend Capitão Mor to my friends and family.

This Guest house was just what I needed: shared kitcheb, so coffee, fridge, and microwave: good-sized room with private bath: just right pillows, blankets, etc: close to museum, churches, restaurants, garbour, and bus: perfect for a walking tourist like me. Sylvia was great! She stayed late to welcome me in and gave me a map and clear directions to the store, etc..Outside, the building is old; inside, it has been beautifully decorated: very pretty. I would love to go back.

The place where we stayed is very Clean and neat place, convenient location with furnished kitchen as well as cloth washer and above all Silvia is very sweet and helpful person. We really enjoyed our stay.

The owner Silvia was absolutely nice to me. She welcomed me with a big smile and she was always happy to help me with anything. Close to bars and harvest and so many nice place where to it, it was a wonderful stay and hope to come back soon. Anyone heading to Faro should consider this place as one of the best and reasonable price! thank Silvia!!!

A great hostel with a great host. A couple of issues though.....the barking dog on the terrace and the street noise throughout the night either kept us awake or woke us up. But everything else was great!

Well located in the middle of Faro, and as advertised but... After the first night we were over the hard beds, difficult stairs, lack of aircon, cramped and unpleasant bathrooms. Access to the terrace was difficult and mainly for smoking, and breakfast truly was a joke. We appreciated Silvia staying late to meet us, but communication was difficult and surely its not unusual to arrive after 6 p.m.? The tone was set by the instant demand for payment on arrival and the sign saying left luggage would be charged at 4 Euros per hour per piece. We really enjoyed Faro and will return, but not to this Hostel.

Friendly owner ,flexible with luggage drop off.Basic room clean with own bathroom/shower,fan,towels etc.Own key to come and go, local info available paperback library if needed.Visited FARO for kids football tournament over weekend, flights expensive so looked for budget accommodation. Location near FARO marina and 15-20 mins from airport ,plenty of cheap Uber cabs available 3 mins walking distance to Marina / restaurants etc. Only downside is the small backstreet location near to a noisy bar with some dodgy characters about. Was fine as 2 males wanting just a bed for the night. however at same time two couples (New Zealand and Sweden ) also staying . Would use again for short stay.

My.boyfriend and me enjoyed our stay.The accommodation was amazing because of the lovely furnishing, it feels like home. The guest house is located in the city centre near the restaurants,shops and ferrys.I liked of most the hospitality of the owner and all the personal in the house. I would always go back to this house.

Perfect location in Faro centre, walking distance from the train station and bus station and local shops and restaurants. I was very well received on checkin. The room was clean and the bed comfortable, and the shared shower room was very clean. What else can you ask for?

Very welcoming. The guest house is right in the city center and it’s easy to walk to bars and restaurants. I would stay again.

Great Place to stay. One star taken off as the wifi does not work everywhere, which can get annoying.

Limpeza impecável e excelente localização.

Clean room with basic furniture, rather small. Basic and clean common bathroom and kitchen. On the roof there is a small very beautiful and romantic roof terrace.

Clean and convenient, reception was friendly and helpful. The room had no window, only a skylight so no airflow and made it stuffy/uncomfortable. Bed was ok, pillow not good. Stay for a night if you're not fussy and need to get to the airport conveniently.

In the Old Town and within easy walking to the port, the bus/coach and train stations, this is a little gem of a guesthouse. Friendly welcome and spotlessly clean, it boasts a roof terrace, Wifi and a fully equipped kitchen. My room was small but perfectly adequate and represented good value. Warm bed and a heater were appreciated (and needed) during an unseasonally cold spell. There is inevitably some noise at night, so wear earplugs if you are a light slipper. Plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity, shops too. Lots of information on site. So good and perfect as a base that I extended my stay. And there is a delightful and cute - if at first a little vociferous - little doggy. Prince will great you and likes cuddles! Food tip: as a vegetarian I had a little bit of a problem finding food other that pizzas and the like. I went to the ALGARVE FORUM (20mns walk or take the bus) where I found a good variety of outlets with a good choice of varied food at good value too. Visiting tips: Go to a show or do the visit of the LETHES Theatre, a short walk up from the main plaza: an utter gem of a place, quite unexpected (there is also a brand new theatre by the roundabout before the Algarve Forum).Whilst you're there, up another block will take you to the splendid and large Town Market. The size of some fish! And good place for lots of fresh food for picnics etc., incl. a superb bakery (delicious pastries!) and a supermarket in the he basement. All in all I had a very pleasant stay in Faro and have no hesitation in recommending Capitao Mor as an excellent place to stay.

Guesthouse was nice, has everything you need, free wireless and towels provided. We received a questionable recommendation for lunch, but everything else was good.

Don't be fooled by the shabby looking front door, this is not a cheap hostel but rather a nice budget hotel. The staff does speak no english, they had to call the hotel owner for any required conversation. The rooms are nice and clean, the location is almost exactly in the small city's center. A nice looking restaurant is attached, which we did not visit, though.

Simple but very good. The fish was really nice and the lady serving us was sweet and attentive. Wie didn't stay at the guesthouse though, but the housewine and the Ray is a recommendation.

We stayed one night before we flew back to Kerry (Ireland). It was a nice room. and It was a great Location close to the Rail Station and Bus station.

Przyjechaliśmy późno w nocy więc właściciel musiał na nas czekać. Bardzo polecamy. Miasteczko południowe jak z filmów.
