Very quite and peaceful. Highlight seeing large wading bird some 4feet tall plus lots going on on fresh water lake. Nice walk around the reserve

Sarebbe un Bel parco naturale se non fosse per la sporcizia e per lo stato generale di abbandono. La vecchia casa è veramente mal tenuta. Le vie vicino la laguna molto sporca. Suggestiva la passerella vicino al mulino. Così com'è non consiglio di fare tanti chilometri per visitarla.

Petit parc payant, 2,80€ par personne. Balade sympa, mais a part le moulin et les cabanes d'observation des oiseaux, tout est à l'état d'abandon avancé. Dommage...

Fascinating piece of historic engineering using tidal power to drive mill grinding wheels. Lots of near-intact grinding stations on display with loads of simple explanatory documentation (in English as well as Portuguese) and pictures. All set in the wonderful Ria Formosa Reserve - I could have stayed the whole day. Highly recommended to see when you're in the area. Using a natural power resource over man-made fuelled designs - who would have thought?! Hope it catches on.

Sehr sehenswert! Außerdem ist dort ein öffentliches Naturschutzgebiet. Super zum Spazieren und verschiedene Tiere kann man auch beobachten.

Un bel endroit au milieu de la réserve, à voir si vous la visiter. Vous découvrirez le fonctionnement des moulins à marées. La terrasse sur le toit, offre une belle vue sur la ria. Déçue par la visite de la réserve naturelle, en soi, ce lieu et la lagune sont les plus intéressants.

Molto interessante e ben spiegato il funzionamento del mulino di mare. Posto incantevole, se visitate la riserva naturale non perdetevi questo mulino e... portatevi dietro costumi e asciugamani perché il bagno in mare nei pressi del mulino è imperdibile!!!!

In een natuurreservaat gelegen. De laatste van zijn soort hier in de Algarve. Op posters wordt uitgelegd (in het portugees en engels) hoe dit vroeger werkte met laag en hoog getijde voor het malen.

Ancien moulin fonctionnant avec la marée, situé dans la réserve d'oiseaux, c'est à voir en ballade. Longer la VF, il y a un passage dans la clôture.

Уникальная мельница, функционирующая за счёт проточной воды. Неплохо отреставрирована, по стенам развешаны плакаты с объяснением принципа работы и зарисовками из рабочего дня мельника.
Находится мельница на территории природного заповедника, вход для иностранцев платный.

Mulino a mare unico nel suo genere e situato all'interno del parco naturale (entrata a pagamento per i non residenti ).bellissimo poter godere del panorama lagunare dalla sommità del tetto. Sinceramente non ci farei nemmeno il pediluvio nelle acque in prossimità del mulino visto che si tratta di laguna e che questa terra offre delle ben più notevoli spiagge e anfratti che si tuffano nel mare e nelle limpide acque dell'oceano.

Interesting historical mill. Partly restored but currently not operational. Well documented, worth a quick visit during your stay at the reserve.

Superb educational natural reserve. Trail and education stops range from wildlife to environmental benefit to historical features. Park pamphlets are in Portuguese, Deutsch, english, French and Spanish.

Open to the public when visiting Ria Formosa this mill was one of the last remaining flour grinding mills that used the tide to drive the stones.
There is lots of information on the walls telling you the history of the place. The stones that were used have been left in place and the living quarters are also on show.
The rooftop is alos open giving spectacular views across the bay and inland over the Natural Park.
It may not take long to look around, but is worth half an hour to step back in the past and see how things used to be done.
