Incredible deserted island. We went in January and the weather was stunning. There is only one building on the island and that is a restaurant(quite pricy). But for the experience of ferry ride and quiet island I am definitely giving 5 ⭐️ Must go if you are visiting Faro and looking for special experience.

Siamo approdati in questa isola deserta, che si estende per 7 km circa sulla spiaggia. Il mare non è niente di che e l'acqua è fredda come del resto in tutte le spiagge dell'algarve, tuttavia lo consiglio a gli amanti della pace e della tranquillità

Île déserte qui n'a rien de déserte en été. Mais on oublie très vite la présence d'autres Crusoés. Le paysage est à tomber, plusieurs fois.

Ilha da Barreta, Faro Super balade sur cette île. Sur la partie arrière de l’île vous avez des chemins fait en ponton de bois. Nous avons eut la chance de pouvoir voir des dauphins. Venez le matin pour pouvoir faire de longues balades jusqu'au bout de l’île. on se retrouve seul au monde. Bonne balade

Desde luego desierta está! Sólo hay un restaurante, el Estaminé en el que te arrancan un ojo de la cara con la bebida y demás, un café son 3,40. Así que mucho mejor llevarse bebida y algún sangüichito o algo para picar. La playa está genial, limpia y tranquila. Para los amantes de los pájaros y/o senderismo hay un recorrido precioso para hacer que te lleva a la parte más al sur de Portugal. Es un lugar bucólico, merece la pena ir.

No puedo decir si me ha gustado o no a causa del mal tiempo q nos hizo,pero puedo decir que en el restaurante nos dejaron refugiar de la lluvia sin necesidad de consumir ,cosa q si hicimos y pagamos con creces. Por otro lado los tripulantes del ferry tuvieron muy mala educación a la hora de atender al público extranjero con respecto a los portugueses, veníamos mojados y mucho, y tuvieron la idea de dejar toallas para secarse SOLO a los portugueses. Lo siento! Muy mala imagen

Realmente um paraíso. Uma anotação, apesar de todas as pesquisas apontarem para a ilha ser desabitada tem um senhor que diz que vive na ilha a mais de 30 anos.

Beautiful island. For arrive there is a boat that for only 10€ sell ticket for go and return that is cheaper! Also there is a small bar and a funny group of little house when a man decided to live alone. Peaceful island with a stunning view in one side that is the direct ocean side there is a long white sand beach but the water is so cold! On the other side the other small beach are not directly on the ocean and are a mix of this with the river so temperature of the water is better for swim. I advice only to take an umbrella for the sun because in the island there is always a little bit of wind so the risk is to burn your skin without understanding. Definitely a good trip if you are near by!

Ein sehr schönes Bootsausflugsziel für einen Kurztrip aus Faro. Der Nationalpark ist Natur pur und wunderbar um einfach mal weg vom Tourismus zu sein und zum abschalten. Hier kann man schön über den Steg durch das Vogelschutzgebiet laufen.

Olyan sziget, amit igazából a természet kedvelők tudnak élvezni. Egyetlen étterem van és egy nyilvános WC. A táj gyönyörű, a víz kristály tiszta. Rengeteg kagyló van a parton. Ideális hely egy jó sétához és kikapcsolódáshoz.

Wonderful, peaceful island. We were there off season. So not many people there a we could enjoy it more. I think, during the season it's a wonderful place for the lazy type of vacation. Just enjoy the sun on the beach

Un conseil prenez le ferry, meme si c'est 40 min vous paierez moins cher, car sinon les autres bateaux sont hors de prix et sur l'ile il n'y a pas grand chose à visiter. C'est vraiment pour les amoureux de la nature, les plages sauvages et les randonneurs.

Payer 20euros aller retour avec un “speed bateau” pour aller voir une île où il n’y a vraiment pas grand chose à voir. Perte de temps total je trouve qu’il a des choses beaucoup plus intéressante à voir. Oui c’est une île déserte mais la plage c’est la même que le sud en France pour le coup! Nous avons marché tout le tour de l’île rien de très passionnant

Get the boat from Faro at 1130 and prepare to spend the day on the island. You can walk all round it on the boardwalk and you can have lunch in the restaurant, cheap or expensive, swim, sunbathe (they rent umbrellas and loungers but take a towel) and return on the 4.30 boat all for a very reasonable outlay.

Stunning. A lovely walk around the whole island will last a few hours . The nature there is stunning.

Niet helemaal verlaten zoals de naam doet vermoeden, maar wel heel erg mooi. Pluspunten: -lekker rustig (september) -mooi en schoon strand -vuurtoren -restaurantje -slechts 1 bewoner -helder water Minpunten: -steeds meer mensen gaan dit plekje ontdekken, dat houdt in dat het steeds ietsje drukker wordt...

Expectacular!!! La mejor isla del Algarve, poca gente, muy muy tranquila!!!

Será a ilha mais bonita da Ria Formosa? Das mais bonitas certamente! Quem não conhece este pequeno paraíso não se vai arrepender de conhecer. O barco apanha-se nas portas do mar em Faro (5€ ida e 5€ a volta). A saber: só há na ilha um único restaurante pelo que é conveniente levar um snack para passar por lá o dia.

Playa paradisíaca a pocos kilómetros de Faro. Poca afluencia de gente ya que se llega a ella en barco (5€ por trayecto, 10€ si vas en speedboat... recomendable hacer la ida o la vuelta al menos en uno de estos). Es una playa en la que se puede practicar el nudismo. La isla solo cuenta con un restaurante, que suele estar abarrotado (a partir de las 15:30-16h hay ya más posibilidades de encontrar sitio), pero cuenta también con un snack bar en el que es más sencillo coger una mesa. Si estás unos días por el Algarve es uno de los sitios que debes visitar.
