We have been there twice already and plan to go again soon. Super friendly staff. Great food and a wonderful view. Try the fresh fish they offer. It is absolutely worth it.

Wonderful views of the estuary! Fantastic fruity white sangria, fish soup and garlic bread with cheese. Just great for our light lunch stop with good service, too...

Lovely, albeit a bit gusty dinner. Maybe we should have sat inside, but our attentive waitress brought over blankets so not a problem. My son was not too keen on his squid but I thought they were great! I shared the monkfish cataplana and it too was cooked.to perfection.

Beautiful place one of the best restaurant in alvor have been there with my friends the view are wonderful. The staff mostly one of the young lady call ana very helpful.*****.

Reserved a table at this restaurant for a Birthday dinner for a family member. We arrived a few minutes and were shown to our table. The server then took over 20minutes to come and take our order. (A family came in after us and had their order taken & were given starters before our order had even been taken)! Server was rude & seemed to be distracted when taking our orders. Food was ok, we ordered steaks with pepper sauce, it was quite bland though. Beautiful views though. Hope that the server was just having a bad day & isn't like this all the time.

Lovely restaurant in Alvor, located on the top o a small hill that offers a breathtaking sunset. The food is great and the staff is amazing. You can have lunch, but I prefer this restaurant for dinner due to the views it offers of the ria. Try the sangria, you won’t regret.

Comida e serviço excelentes. O peixe é fresco, a sangria é ótima e as amêijoas são deliciosas, bem como as sobremesas. Ao almoço é muito calmo e fresco. Excelente restaurante!

A very pleasant restaurant, located above and overlooking the harbour. The food was well prepared and reasonably priced for the location. Very good service, English spoken as well as the menu.

Me ha gustado mucho tiene unas vistas impresonantes el trato que han tenido con nosotros es muy bueno.
La comida estaba deliciosa, la cataplasma o como se llame, es la primera vez que escuchaba este plato, está bastante buena y el queso típico de allí, es lo que ponía en la carta, es muy suave y se come muy bien. Lo que no me ha gustado es el precio de la botella de agua 3 euros una botella, lo mismo que una copa de vino

Excelente ubicación. Vistas al puerto de Alvor. Cada vez que vamos a Potugal visitamos este restaurante. Deliciosa Cataplana de pulpo o de pez, salmón o dorada a la parrilla, variedad en el menú infantil. Ideal para ir con niños ya que al lado del restaurante hay un parque.

Gragerbass estuvo aquí cenando. Un lugar peculiar con vistas al puerto. Tranquilo, buen servicio de camareros. De entrada pan, queijo y olivas, y una ensalada mixta, de principal carne de porco(cerdo) con almejas y patatas fritas en dados( rico, me recordó a comida Marvao). Y de postre tarta de Algarvia ( buenísimo y casero)?

Um lugar 100%! Com uma vista do porto de alvor e de lagos mesmo top, se tiver la à noite vai poder apreciar o por do sol.
Mas o ponte forte deste sitio e a equipa, fomos muito bem servido pelo à Sarah, Fabio e Ruben sem esquecer o senhor fernando que trata de grelhar o peixe fresquinho e a carne de qualidade!

Très bon restaurant pour le prix...poissons ultra frais, terrasse ultra sympa. Nous étions 13 avec 4 enfants et c était parfait! Nous avons passé un très bon moment et avons bien mangé pour un prix ultra raisonnable ! je recommande!!!

The restaurant is in a great location, the food was delicious. The only thing that should improve in order to make me to give 5* is the staff that annoying the appetite ( A lady with nails and horrible make-up frightens the customers.) :(((

Outstanding meal and service as alwwys. We booked in advance asking for a nice table with a view and wow it didn't disappoint we have been many times but this time was amazing. We all had a lovely evening enjoying food and wine and the restaurant had a nice atmosphere full of both tourists and locals

On a découvert par hasard ce restaurant qui surplombe la Ria donnant une superbe vue sur Lagos.

The food was very good here, the view is absolutely stunning but unfortunately this time the service was not great, we were waiting a long time for our orders to be taken, when we ordered drinks the waiter took 10-15 minutes to bring them to the table and forgot our last order, when we mentioned to him that he hadn't brought our drinks he got defensive but to be fair he got them and didn't charge for them which is fair enough.
I have eaten here in the past and it was always one of my favourite restaurants because there is such a beautiful view of the Alvor sunset, I never had any issues before but last night was disappointing and not what we have come to expect in Alvor.

Estuvimos comiendo un día de diario, en mayo. Las vistas muy buenas y la comida también. El camarero que nos atendió, a pesar de ser del atleti, un crac, auténtico genio y figura. EL precio no es el mas barato de Portugal, pero al menos lo que te comes está mejor que decente.

Enjoyed a fabulous meal here last night. The food was excellent and all freshly cooked.The waiters were very attentive and made everyone feel very welcome. The views from the terrace are outstanding ,as it was windy however we were seated indoors. Would highly recommend as somewhere special to eat in Alvor.

What a lovely spot to have a Sunday long lunch over a bottle of rose. We shared the sardines as a starter which turned out to be the highlight of our meal. We had the grilled salmon and pork special of the day, which were also delicious. The waiters were both friendly and chatty which was lovely.

Excellent view over the river. You can catch sunset here in August. Food is traditional of what you can find in Alvor. Normally, fish is good, bit side dishes are trivial.

We went here on our last evening in Alvor and weren't disappointed. The service was very good and food excellent at a reasonable price for what we had - 25€ each for a main course, dessert, wine and coffee. I had monkfish and prawn kebab - very fresh and tasty.
There were several groups of local people in the restaurant which is always a good sign.
We booked the table next to the window and the view over the harbour was beautiful. Watching the sun go down over the sea was spectacular!
I'd recommend this restaurant without any hesitation.

The food is delicious! (we ordered today's special meal with fish and potatoes) Salmon tasted really good too! We also enjoyed the sunset here and the nice view!
