Pro: Das Hostel ist sehr sauber und bietet ein wirklich großrtiges Frühstück. Der Preis insgesamt ist außerdem wirklich akzeptabel, da die Einrichtung und die Küche sehr neu sind und die Dachterasse schön geschmückt ist. Contra: Als wir angekommen sind mussten wir einen Vertrag unterschreiben (ungewöhnlich für Hostels). Außerdem sprach das Personal (nicht der Besitzer des Hostels nur schlechtes Englisch. Des weiteren wird man in der Küche ständig Videoüberwacht und es gibt generell sehr viele Regeln im Hostel. Fazit: Insgesamt ein schönes Hostel, allerdings eher für kurze und ruhige Aufenthalte!

This hostel is great! So nicely designed and clean! The rooftop is a great place to meet friends! Also, free breakfast! Why not! Location is great too, right in the middle of the town, with lot of restaurants around and its so easy to recognize the place with its red walls on the outside.

진짜 너무 좋았어요 버스터미널에서 걸어가는건 좀 힘들었지만 중심지이기 때문에 너무나 좋았고 루프탑이나 숙소 위생 등 너무 좋았어요 다만 아쉬운건 방이좀 좁아서 서로간의 이동이 불편한데 그거빼고 다좋아요 다!!! 다음에 가도 꼭이용할겁니다!!! 조식도 짱맛 에그타르트가 있는데 정말맛나요! 선착순입니다 ㅎㅎ

En 2 palabras: IM-PRESIONANTE. Es uno de los mejores alojamientos de este tipo en el que he estado, incluyendo lugares como Canada, USA y resto de europa. Prolongo mi estancia sin dudarlo, merece la pena. Desayuno incluido muy completo. Cerca de parking gratis afuera de la muralla. En el centro del casco historico, tiendas, bares, restaurantes, playas....

Hostel com decoração linda, café da manhã excelente, lençóis e toalhas de ótimo padrão, tudo funcionando muito bem. Tem um terraço versátil, e funcionários que fazem plantão 24 horas.

Absolutely lovely hostel! Prices are right, all facilities are well maintained, cleaned daily and the personnel are like little angels always willing to help and accommodate you the best they can. My girlfriend and I stayed there 4 nights and enjoyed every one of them. Even though the proximity to the bars makes it a little loud at times, it's easy to fall asleep in this little sanctuary of peace and comfort. That proximity also makes it a perfect place to stay at if you want to go out for drinks from time to time. All of this, plus the tours and the services offered (like cheap laundry, the AC, ...) is why we recommend this hostel to everyone who wants a pleasant stay at Lagos.

Lovely hostel! PERFECT if you’re searching for relaxation. Great wood high quality beds. Cosy, lovely. Everything made with SO MUCH LOVE. Dayse and João are great and very helpful. The nights were very confortable. I got an extra pillow. The breakfast is amazing - they have crispy natas. Small hostel and great guest. I planned to stay two nights and stayed longer ☺️ P.S.: there is a cute hostel dog - Pablo. You won’t regret to stay here!

Wonderful hostel! Relaxed atmosphere in a great location. Staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Free breakfast in the mornings and a wide variety of tours (extra charge). I hope to come back one day soon!

This hostel is great. So clean and really chilled out. I generally do not stay at hostels mostly because of cleanliness and people up until early morning. But this hostel is spaced out well enough to not be disturbed. Bed sheets and spaces cleaned well. Very quiet after 11pm. Staff are genuine and helpful. The breakfast is full of continental variety especially with some fresh pastel de natas. I would return.

This was my very first solo-trip and very first hostel-experience! I absolutely loved it! I liked everything! I arrived around 11 am at the hostel and was warmly welcomed by João. I only had booked 2 nights, because I was unsure if I would like hostel vacation. I was able to add an additional night temporarily, just in case I wouldn't feel comfortable. I traveled with a rental car to Lagos and João organised everything for me to get a nice parking spot very close to the hostel, where the car is safe. He recommended me on a daily basis what I could do, always considering the weather. On my arrival day the cleaning was done much earlier and I was able to get access to my room earlier then usual. All the staff members were so friendly and helpful, I really loved the hostel dog Paolo, he is so cute and calm! As I have never stayed in a hostel, I do not know if it was cleaner or better. The rooms are cleaned daily, there is a nice big kitchen and a bigger and very cozy rooftop terrace. The hostel was only founded in 2016 and you can tell that the owners are taking care of it, because the rooms were looking so new!!

Forgot kitchen close at midnight my friend and I were in kitchen at 12.03 making a cup of tea and we got kicked out by staff saying it close at 12 (understable but I was half way making my tea and had to leave it ) this wasn’t that bad but the following night....a roommate yelled at my friend and I for” blasting music at night” for two nights in a row but it was clearly the music from the Bars and Clubs next to the hostel, hostel staff came up and told my friend and I off saying that we need to be more respectful with each other without even knowing the situation was when the roomate came at me and my friend rudely. Other staff were lovely. It gets really loud at night even at 3am bc of the bars n clubs nearby. Generally fairly tidy and clean,but a lot of flies in the bathroom and toilet!!! This was a bad end to my trip! Hope they would take this comment and improve on staff quality and fix noise problem. If you don’t have a hair dryer they can provide. Breakfast mainly cereal and bread , it was good. Hostel in good location.

The free breakfast was brilliant, the rooms and roof top were lovely and made good use of space, and the hostel is in a perfect location in the middle of shops and restaurants and a little stroll to beaches and the bus & train stations. Great place for solo travelers to meet people as the hostel isn't too big and other guests were all friendly. The staff were wonderful too!

Everything was great at this hostel except the toilets. There is only one toilet for women and one toilet for men for the ENTIRE hostel. So as you can see there were quite a lot of problems in the mornings. I wish this place had better washrooms since the rooms and everything else were nice, especially the rooftop patio.

Schöne, helle Zimmer, leckeres Frühstück ( verschiedene Kornflakes, Joghurts, Baguette, Vollkornbrot, Früchte, Kaffee, Tee, Marmelade, Wurst und Käse ) Die hauseigene Dachterrasse verfügt über eine Bar, ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und man hat einen tollen Blick über die Dächer!

Really nice hostel that I would definitely recommend to anyone staying in Lagos. Good and clean facilities, friendly and helpful staff, nice beds with power points and lamps, free breakfast, luggage storage, aircon in the rooms, well equipped kitchen a rooftop terrace with drinks and space to meet people. The location is also good near lots of restaurants and shops but also close to the beach.

Hostel agradable. Personal amable. Linda decoración. Posee terraza. Punto negativo: solo tiene un baño y dos duchas, para la cantidad de personas que se hospedan resulta poco. La limpieza no es la mejor.

The best hostel I have stayed at so far, and undoubtedly the best hostel I have seen in Lagos. As others have mentioned, the place has a unique boutique feel to it and they take extreme care of the design and cleanness of the whole place. Our experience with the staff was exceptional, despite the high season they managed to get us rooms on last minute and helped us organising our activities. Even on the last day, they managed to quickly organise an affordable taxi and get our rented scooters back on time. Looking forward to the next time!

Booking process: We booked two beds at Camone Hostel way back in January for our trip in July. It is a unique hostel in an otherwise quite touristy region. It is also affordable and we received quick confirmation from the hostel. Location and check-in: The hostel itself is conveniently located to the beach, bus and train station, and check-in was fuss free. We arrived early, but the staff was accommodating enough to allow us to drop our bags off. Stay: Later during check-in, we were told that we had to be reassigned to another room for two reasons. The first was that we had apparently wrongly booked a female room, and the second was that it was a peak period for the hostel. We generally had no issues with the reassignment, but found the circumstances of this very strange for the following reasons: 1. The room that we had initially booked for, Coral Bay, had in fact been advertised on their website as a mixed dorm, not female dorm as the staff had said. 2. The room that we were reassigned to, called "Reef", is not an advertised option on their website. 3. This new room was not unpleasant, but a little unusual. It is located in the basement, had little natural lighting, and only had 1 large locker( and 2 tiny lockers) for 5 beds. The staff provided us with combination locks for the 2 tinylockers but we later found them to be brand new and having the same combination code for both locks. The room is sparsely finished - it has one couch frame (with no couch pillows on it) and some lighting (that wasnt plugged in). 4. Unlike the other rooms, this room also has no keycard entry. We were given a steel key which we were told to place at reception when not in the hostel. It later transpired that this same key can be used to lock/unlock their store room and bag drop-off room. 5. When we arrived for check-in, this room was being used as a resting place for security guards/ staff of some other place so we were asked if we could check-in a bit later to allow them to clear out and for the room to be prepared. Later we discovered that 2 other tourists were reassigned to our new room at the last minute. 6. There was a toilet in the basement for us to use, but it could not be locked and we later realised that this was the same toilet to be used by the hostel staff. We later deduced - from the mere fact that the room did not have a unique lock; was not furnished in time; was not advertised; did not have its own bathroom - that the room must have been converted into spare lodging at the last minute (in spite of the fact that we booked several months before). Though the above was not told to us, we did find the staff to be somewhat apologetic throughout our stay. We would have gladly accepted an explanation were it provided to us; sadly the staff chose to conceal this matter and resorted to confusing instructions like having to return keys, using alternative toilets etc. All in all the stay was not unpleasant but we would have appreciated more clarity on the situation.

Best hostel I've seen! Hosts are very caring and friendly, everything is clean, breakfast is amazing with desserts and fruits. They have just opened a terrace, which is very cozy. Hostel is not noisy, place is good. Treat yourself and stay there, really!

I can not express the amount of kindness and professionalism I experienced during my stay. While researching other hostels in the area, most looked extremely underwhelming and so the choice to stay here was easy. However, I did not expect Camone to have a unique charm that you'd find in botique hotels.When I make my journey back to Lagos, this is where I'll undoubtingly stay.
