Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Main dish of Beef stroganoff and sole with almonds both very tasty abd enjoyable. Relaxed and friendy ambience. Quiet back streets but well worth the visit.

Excellent repas. Ce canard à l'orange était divin. Le resto perdu dans les petites rues de Lagos est tenu par la patronne portugaise très sympa et son mari français aux fourneaux. A recommander

Fresh seafood, French style cooking, local feel, nice wine list, reasonably priced, really cute inside. Very quiet area with not much else around & unassuming exterior. Definitely recommend!! Although if you’re looking for traditional Portuguese cuisine, this is not really it ;) other reviews have mentioned wait time. It is a mom & pop chef-owner place, very small, everything made to order, so yes, you will wait more than fast food but it is not unreasonable. Worth it for the quality, and they provide nice service as well.

Sehr netter Empfang. Alle Speisen super: Seezunge, Rochen,Ente, Froschschenkel. Han alles probiert. Wir gehen wieder hin.

Really super place. Quail starter was fantastic as were the prawns. Lamb also juicy and meltingly tender. Very friendly. Enjoyed wee chat with the French chef/ proprietor. Maybe you'll find less expensive places in Lagos, but I doubt you'll find better quality.

Dinner was very very good - for me, it was the Best Restaurant in Portugal on Our Trip! The two owners are very kind and lovely. Restaurant is little bit hided between houses. Prices are totally okay for that quality!

Eigentlich soll man ja nie ein Restaurant betreten, wenn man der einzige Gast ist... Ich habe es dennoch getan, weil es schon spät, und ich hungrig war - und habe es nicht bereut. Ein freundliches, älteres Ehepaar, er (Küche) Portugiese, und sie (Service) Französin servierte mir zuerst wunderbare Miesmuscheln in Weißwein-Obers-Sauce (für unsere deutschen Freunde: Obers = Sahne) und dann eine butterzarte Kalbsleber mit gebratenem Speck und Gemüse (Bild). Alles in allem ein wunderbarer Abend, inklusive zwei Gläser Wein, Wasser, Kaffee, Digestiv (Armagnac) und Trinkgeld um 40 Euro, absolut wert!!

Schön versteckt in einer kleinen Gasse gelegen liegt dieses Restaurant. Der Geheimtipp in Portugal wenn man mal das beste Filet mit Pfeffer oder Gorgonzola Sauce in Portugal essen möchte. Tolles Ambiente mit einer offenen Küche. Das Inhaberpaar spricht Portugiesisch, Französisch und Englisch. Der Fisch ist auch sehr gut. Seid nun mehr als 20 Jahren ein Muss für uns an der Algarve. Macht bitte noch lange weiter so und behaltet die Sternequalität.

Excellent service and gorgeous food. Had the mussels and beef stroganoff from specials board, Devine. It is out of the way but definitely worth finding this gem.

Restaurante muito tranquilo , comida excelente. Recomendo o magret de pato, tornedó, optimo patĕ e as deliciosas e caseiras batatas fritas. A repetir.

Loved the food here. Well presented and good. Tucked away in a back street at the top of town, you may have to ask for directions. This is somewhere you go on a special occasion as it isn't cheap but it is affordable if that makes sense. Worth a visit.

Great French cuisine with romantic aura - love it! I recommend the duck, it's the best I've ever had.

Excellent food, cozy and quiet. It's Portuguese and French combined to make the most delicious experience for your tastebuds. The location of the restaurant is a little hidden away but what a gem. Wonderful dishes like the Chef's Prawns, octopus Salad, the salmon and the duck will have you thinking about it for days. I highly recommend it for a nice evening out either with a loved one or your whole family.

Um chef francês e uma portuguesa gerem este pequeno achado em Lagos. Comida internacional bem confeccionada e simpatia são as mais valias desta casa. O local é despretencioso e pacato, de fácil estacionamento, mas aconselho reserva a quem pretende jantar. Fechavam o mês de Agosto, mas agora já não tem acontecido. A seleção de vinhos é básica, podendo ser melhorada.

This was a favourite this week in Lagos, we went twice and it was probably our favourite two meals of the week. The ambience is really relaxed, the service very friendly, and the food fresh and tasty with some really delicious dishes. Highly recommended.

Wonderful food! We had shrimps chef style, very fresh, a little bit spicy, excelent, an octopus salad, I enjoyed it a lot even if I don't usually like octopus, fried chicken with homemade ketchup, simply perfect (dry on the outside, juicy on the inside) and an amazing lamb with provenzal sauce (a tasty garlic sauce) that really made the difference. It was magistrally cooked, medium-rare as I asked, and because of it we're talking about coming back again tomorrow evening. We're wondering how the duck fillet could be... Everything has been served with a good white wine and followed by two normal italian espressos - italian coffee lovers know how difficult could be to find an espresso above the "scarce" rating - and the price was very affordable: 57.40€. A reservation could be necessary: even if the restaurant is a little bit hard to find, it's highly recommended both by tripadvisor and lonely planet and it has 8 tables only.
