Food was very good, lovely porco preto with sliced potatoes and lovely ratatouille. Came with a novel salad in a glass. Staff were nice. A good experience all round.

The food here is amazing. Service is good and a lovely area. Very relaxed atmosphere. I had the lamb chops and they were perfect.

I don't know why other reviewers seem to like it, but all the dishes we took were just bad. It looked and tasted like everything was deepfreeze, inferior ingredients and badly prepared. Did we come on a bad moment? Anyhow, if you ask me: go to one of the two other places just next door.

O Cantinho is a local restaurant that serves great food. You sometimes have to wait but the quality is excellent.

Sehr nettes kleines Lokal, bescheiden aber auf eine Weise gemütlich mit sehr gutem Essen und sehr gutem Wein, gute Auswahl und passendes Preis Leistungs Verhältnis. Freundliche aufmerksame Bedienung.

Je suis aller par rapport a des amis , que c'etait tres bien et bom.Crevettes trop salées et la suite poisson pareil saléeee? Comment on peu dire que c'est bom?
Bien moi jai eté deçue a commençer par le serviçe et personnel vraiment pas sympa.
Je ne retournerais pas .

A demora não é compreensível, apresentam se como pizzaria mas depois fazem uma infinidade de pratos e a conclusão é que levam uma hora a entregar uma pizza, pizza é pizza leva no máximo 30 minutos

pour deux ; apero, bouteille de vin, repas, dessert, 35 euro

Auf dem Weg zu einem anderen Restaurant, welches allerdings wegen Ferien geschlossen war, fanden wir in kurzer Distanz dieses gemütliche Restaurant. Etwas gehoben, was sich auch an den Preisen sehen lässt. Dafür exzellenter Service und das Essen war hervorragend. Seezunge war ausgezeichnet. Ich war mit den Pizzen und Pastagerichten etwas vorsichtig, habe mich dann aber doch für Tagliatelle entschieden und muss sagen das es die besten waren für ich bisher gegessen habe. Fish soup had no fish, sole fish was another fish, too breaded. Service ok, side serving with the food also ok.

A beautiful restaurant with some incredible pizza! That's how I ended up with two. The covert was fairly priced and surprisingly tasty considering its simplicity. The atmosphere was authentic and delightfully rustic. A charming experience, thankyou.

Zojuist opgestaan en weggegaan. Na wee 15 minuten zitten geen contact met bediening. Niet welkom... nueten bij de buren.. veel meer welkom en ook lekker

Cheguei para almoçar e tinham umas quatro mesas cá fora e perguntaram se era só um o que disse que sim e que preferia sentar-me cá fora . Resposta - não é possível porque as mesas são de 4 pessoas e não apenas uma . E assim perdem um cliente . Além de que foram super antipaticos.

The chef of this restaurant knows how to cook and present the food.
Eaten here twice while on holiday each time the food it's presentation and the service have been faultless, good value for money.

Food average. Wait was over an hour. Staff extremely rude. One waiter told my mother her “English had improved” after having to repeatedly ask for milk in her coffee... we are both English and I can only assume this was a dig at my mothers ethnicity. Very disappointed and upset by the experience.

Es war ganz ok, aber einer der Kellner , der uns bedient hat, war extrem ungeschickt und es war in manchen Situationen etwas unangenehm, es war dazu auch nicht so ganz billig wie in anderen Restaurants!!!

Very bad experience with staff. We went into the restaurant 2 couples and one baby 2 years . The restaurant was empty at 11.40 am and the restaurant staff insisted that they will be full with customers in a few minutes so fold your baby pram and keep it close to your table.There was no one in the restaurant at 11.40 am. So we left the restaurant. Not a good restaurant very rude

Man kann hier sehr gut Essen, zu moderaten Preisen. Etwas gehobene Klasse und nicht die gängigen Speisen, die man in jedem anderen " normalen" Restaurant an der Algarve bekommt. Was nicht abwertend für die anderen sein soll. Alles was wir verspeist haben ist zu empfehlen.

Struggled to think of where to eat and found good reviews here. So glad we tried it, loved everything about it, Swordfish was beautiful and the steak looked so good we are coming back tomorrow. Can well recommend eating here.

Lo más rico los langostinos flambeados en brandy. Platos con buena presencia, atención inmejorable y tiempos de espera adecuados. El camarero muy detallista colocando los platos en la mesa.

Fantastic food and friendly service. Great to get off the main tourist trial. The little bar next door is good fun too.

While on holiday in the area. We came across this little gem of a restaurant. The food and service was so fantastic that we went a second time. The house wine is very good as well. What more can I say - truly a great place to go and eat. Reserve before you go if you can.

Falta de cordialidade e atenção para com os clientes.
O dono, face à nossa sugestão de utilizar mais uma mesa, referiu dificuldade, alegando que lhe poderia fazer falta para outros clientes :(. Não obstante termos referido que esperávamos mais pessoas.
Demora prolongada (com a casa vazia...) no servir dos pratos. Quando serviram um dos pratos veio trocado :(

Really nice local restaurant to Amendoeira golf resort. Food excellent, family run and lovely people.
