3rd trip to carveoiro with the family. Came across this restaurant for the first time yesterday. Wide menu but they made all of us very happy. The cataplana was great. Kids were best pleased too. Recommend!

Très bon rapport qualité prix. Une très bonne daurade pour 9€. Un sourire en plus de la part de l'équipe aurait été apprécié (même si nous n'avons pas été les clients les plus rentables) et un service un peu plus rapide (nous ne sommes qu'en Mai, le restaurant était loin d'être rempli, 25mn d'attente c'est limite ....). Je recommande pour les petits budget qui ont un appétit moyen et qui veulent malgré tout bien manger

Delusione!!! Prezzi sul menu diversi dal prezzo finale!!! Abbiamo consumato due portate da 9 euro, un dolcino, due Birre ed il costo finale è stato di 47.50 euro!! Motivazione?! Iva a parte!! Ladri!!!

Our favourite restaurant during our stay in Carvoeiro. The food and service was excellent. We came here twice during our stay in the town. We tried both the seafood and meat options and they were both of excellent quality. Highly recommended if you are looking for a nice evening meal. We much preferred here than neighbouring Binary restaurant which we found poorer quality ingredients and lower quality in general. P.s. we highly recommend the seafood cataplana here, the best in town! (We tried cataplana in 4 different restaurants during our stay).

The restaurant claims to have the best fish in Carvoeiro and I'd have to agree.
We ordered the prawn cataplana and it was extremely delicious. Fresh giant crab, mussels and prawns, well seasoned in a white wine and tomato sauce with rice and vegetables. Very filling and we'll presented, couldn't fault the local dish.
The staff were very attentive.
Received a glass of complementary port after our meal which was a nice touch.

One of the worst pizzas, which is saying something. Lasagne was OK. No justification spending any money on pizza this bad. Processed base, heavy with some kind of cheese, tasteless topping.

Food was decent, but the way that the staff lure people into the restaurant is a bit intimidating when you are looking to browse menus out front. Large portion of ribs for €9, but by comparison a relatively small peri peri chicken for €8. Caught out by the price of the sea bass at €30 - make sure you share the sea bass as it’s too big for one person. Not sure we will be back.

Porque no se puede poner 0 estrellas. Caza turistas. Comida mala, tardaron una hora y solo había 3 mesas. Personal intrusivo, muy molesto e incómodo. Fuimos porque no había abierto mucho más. Error!

We ate a grilled sea-bass as a meal for 3. It was fresh and quite delicious, although a bit overpriced at 40 euos. A positive point was that we got a refill of potatoes and salad “free of charge”. Service seemed professional and adequate. Expresso coffee was not the best, but if you are not too choosy it works.

Sehr gutes und frisches Essen.
Wirklich grosse Portionen.
Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hat teilweise Deutsch verstanden.
Ansonsten kann man sich gut mit Englisch verständigen.

Restaurante para turistas. Empregado extremamente antipatico, sisudo que nos fez um favor em atender-nos.
A comida que está exposta cá fora nem aparece no menu que nos dão à mesa.
Comida normalissima, que não deixa vontade de repetir. Aliás, independentemente da comida, perdemos a vontade de voltar, sobretudo pelo empregado (um Sr. mais velho).
E claro, que no final enganaram-se na conta em prol da casa, óbvio! Tão evidente e expectável!
Não caiam na rede!

Regular...tardan mucho en servir comidas. Y cuando te traen un primer plato ( despues de mucho reclamar...Y era una triste ensalada), le reclamas el segundo, y te dicen que cuando acabes con ese te lo sirven.

Avoid at all cost. We ate here last week and while we found the food average and overpriced we could have forgiven that. However our main concern was one of the head waiters who from the moment we sat at our table made us feel uncomfortable. He repeatedly asked my 2, 4 and 6 year old children if they had boyfriends and girlfriends and if not he would find them some. He also leaned in over me to debone my fish resting his arms on my shoulders despite me telling him I could debone my own fish. Perhaps he was trying to be funny but he just made us uncomfortable. He was rude to the other staff members and he just seemed unpredictable and on edge. We queried the bill as it was much higher than we expected with lots of little extras having been added. Despite this we paid the bill in full as we just wanted to leave but as we were leaving my partner (much to our regret) mentioned to some people who were coming into the restaurant to do themselves a favour and eat else where. At this point the waiter starter shouting that we had no money and hadn't paid our bill. My partner was startled and had my 2 year old in his arms and then the waiter spat at him. My partner stepped back and asked what he was talking about and then the waiter lunged forward and kicked my partner in the back, he then picked up a loose cobble stone and threatened to throw it at my partner. Other customers started to stand up and another waiter got in front of our waiter pushing him back trying to calm him down but he kept trying to come at us. He shouted "Son of a b++ch" at my partner as we were walking away. The whole incident probably lasted 3/4 minutes but we were left so shaken and our kids were really unsettled.

Based on what we ordered (Piri Piri chicken and the "Blackened Angus" burger off the specials board the food was a little disappointing; 1/2 or 1/4 chicken chopped into pieces and full of bones, frozen burger in a floury bap with tomato and raw onion. Other tables had some very nice looking prawn skewers so we probably just ordered the wrong thing. Didn't get a drinks menu with the food menu. It was then brought over when the waited asked what we wanted to eat but felt rushed into making a choice. Jug of white sangria was nice and plentiful. Music entertainment then came round asking for tips and was very persistent. Would go back as it wasn't terrible but order something else.

Lekker Italiaans restaurant met uitgebreide keuze. Klein nadeeltje : er is maat 1 damestoilet voor deze grote zaak. Aankleding in verschillende stijlen. Raar maar opvallend.

Ja, die ständigen Preissteigerungen ziehen einen Abzug eines Sterns nach sich. Das Essen war sehr schmackhaft. Die Portion sehr groß, eigentlich zu viel für eine Person. Bedienung sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und unaufdringlich. Trotzdem gerne wieder.

Fries were not fresh, Spare Ribs did not have very much meat and contained nearly only ketchup as sauce; white whine was not cold, prawns were bitter. Too expensive for this quality

Espera interminable para un plato de pasta, una ensalada y una dorada, llevo esperando más de 30', no me fui por educación, pero lo que está claro es que ni vuelvo ni lo recomiendo. Y encima prepotentes.

Cataplana deliciosa! No tuvimos que esperar para comer y todo estaba buenísimo, eso sí no es precisamente barato pero por la calidad que sirven merece la pena. Pedimos dos cataplanas, dos bacalaos y un entrecot para 8 perdonas, con pan y bebidas un total de 175euros

Mehrmals sind wir während unseres Urlaubs hier eingekehrt. sehr freundlicher Service, guter Wein und leckere Gerichte. Wir haben verschiedene Gerichte ausprobiert, alles war sehr gut. Man kann hier nette Abende verbringen, es ist gemütlich und lustig, deshalb ich kann euch dieses Restaurant empfehlen.

The food here is good and the service is ok.
The waiter remembered my sons name which made me smile but they do shout out to passers by to encourage them to eat there.
They are also trying to get you to have the little extras that add up on your bill (like bread).
It is worth a visit .

Comida maravilhosa, porém atendimento péssimo.
Fui dois dias, no primeiro tive problemas com os 3 garçom, eles demoraram muito para trazer a comida e depois demoraram mais ainda para trazer a conta. Na segunda vez fui por falta de opção de resultantes na região e porque a comida realmente é boa.
Os garçom foram mais simpáticos, mas na hora em que paguei deixei apenas 4 euros de caixinha e eu fui novamente destratado. O garçom começou a olhar feio e mudou a postura.
Enfim, péssimo. Agora eu como pedra mas não volto nesse lugar.

Amazing Ambience and superb Hospitality with some lip smacking and awesome varieties of Seafood as well as some Italian and local Portugese Food on offer. Almost always full, goes to show how much it is popular and loved. Will come here again any day !

My child's favourite restaurant thanks to the attentive waiters, but I think you can get better food for less money nearby. Played the same song on loop all night (which was then stuck in my head for the entire holiday). Front of house also tells every woman walking past that he likes her hair and/or shoes, which gets a little tiresome after a while. Bit different to the other restaurants and quite entertaining.

El menú para turistas, por 9 euros, te ofrece un entrante (sopa o ensalada) y de segundo costillas, dorada o arroz tamboril. Las costillas riquísimas, te ponen un costillar entero hecho a la brasa que por su tamaño cuesta acabárselo aunque por lo rico que está al final cae, acompañado de patatas fritas y naranja.
El servicio muy bueno, te cambian de cubierto y de servilleta con asiduidad.
Totalmente recomendado.

Prettige sfeer, karig interieur, vriendelijk doch joviale personeel. Dorado in boter en ui, voortreffelijk. Bacalhau, rijk van smaak. Laat in de avond tijdens wandelen werden we nog herkent en begroet door het personeel. Snel en goede service.

Was very bad service...
We ask for two Dorado, to cook it, you can take no more that 30 minutes as maximum, after wait 55 minutes they bring the fish and instead say sorry he try to convince us that this's the time to cook a fish Dorado, ..
the manager never say sorry for that. And they never ask us if the food was ok..
I am not recommend it to eat..
I give it place half star..

Pedimos dos dorados y nos tardo una hora. Seguro q fue un error q lo lo cargaron, puede pasar, pero ni el encargado ni ninguno vino en 40 min a decirnos nada salían platos de mesas de al lado y cuando reclamaba, me decían q era porque era pasta o carnes..!! Q un pescado de 2 centímetros de espesor tardan en cocinarle 50 min..
Muy mala atención, no lo recomiendo..

Delicioso! El mejor spaghetti que probé en Portugal y en toda mi vida hasta ahora! Quizá el buen servicio y el hambre ayudaron a que lo disfrutara tanto pero aún así no cabe duda que esta riquísimo!
