Terrasse in einem originalen alten Wohnhaus des originalen Stadtzentrums. Das originale Stadtzentrum von Portimao befindet sich etwa 30min oder mehr Fußweg weit weg vom kommerziellen Strand mit seinen hässlichen Hotelzügen. Dies war aber für uns nicht relevant, da wir an dem lokalen Strand nicht interessiert waren und ihn nicht genutzt haben, sondern mit einem Mietauto die Gegend erkundet haben. Ein großer öffentlicher, kostenfreier Parkplatz war nur ca. 5min Laufweg weit weg vom Hostel. Da wir uns wegen des Hostels im originalen Stadtzentrum befanden, konnten wir die lokalen Fischrestaurants ausprobieren, wo man definitiv zu kochen weiß. Tipps für die richtigen und falschen Restaurants kamen ebenfalls von der Hostelfamilie. An awesomely nice, open minded and personally interested family runs this hostel on the first floor of an original town house of Portimao in the original centre of the town. The original centre of Portimao is located about 30min or more away from the commercial beach with its ugly hotel lines. As we were not interested in that it did not bother us as we rented a car to have a look around the town. A big parking-fee-free parking area had been just about 5min far away on foot. As we were in the original town due to the hostel we could try the real local fish restaurants where people really know how to cook. Hints for the good and bad restaurants were given by the hostel family, too..

Lugar muito agradavel, limpo e organizado. Os donos são extremamente gentis e prestativos. Preço excelente. Recomendo.

El lugar esta muy lindo y ordenado, los dueños son muy amables y serviciales. Le falta un poco de organización en la cocina, me costó encontrar las cosas, eso se solucionaría muy fácilmente poniendo carteles en las alacenas ( ejemplo: tazas y vasos, platos, etc). Por otra parte también pondría un cartel frente al fregadero aclarando a los huéspedes que cada uno debe lavar los utensilios que utilizó. Cuando me hospedé aquí, hubo gente que no lavaba sus platos, realmente muy irrespetuosos. Por otra parte pondría trapos para poder secar los platos, asi poder guardalos en las alacenas y también para limpiar la mesa. La ubicación es excelente!!

Só passei uma noite, mais achei organizado, banheiro limpo, cozinha limpa e organizada, e perto de tudo. Não precisei pagar Uber ou táxi para chegar até o hostel, pois fica bem perto da paragem de autocarro, com certeza ficaria novamente outras vezes!

Negatief: Ik vond de prijs-kwaliteit verhouding niet goed. Verder miste ik een raam met uitzicht naar buiten..

This Hostel is a very nice place to stay!! We really enjoyed the three nights! The owners are really nice and everything is clean and comfortable! Also with a nice rooftop!! :)

Mas Kant nicht Schlafen nachts biel zu laute Strasse .Zimmer zu klein . Nicht empfehlenswert.

Positif: séjour hors saison, personne dans l'établissement ! pas dérangé par le bruit et pas de problème pour accéder à la salle de bain. Cuisine très bien équipée, rooftop super sympa. Situation idéale dans la ville. Négatif: Ça n'a pas été un problème pour moi car seul dans l'auberge, mais 2 salles de bain pour un étage ça doit être un peu juste, surtout quand les wc sont dedans.

Positiva: No hubo nada que me impresionara. Negativa: Tardaron en llegar al check in, el jaleo se escuchaba un montón por lo cual no pudimos descansar bien.

Positiva: La habitación era muy cómoda y bonita, con una cama muy confortable y aire acondicionado. En general todo el hostal estaba muy limpio y durante el tiempo que estuvimos era muy tranquilo. La cocina común era muy grande, y aunque no la usamos, estaba muy bien equipada. Lo mejor, la terraza de la parte de arriba del edificio, muy agradable y con un toque encantador. El hostal está localizado en el centro histórico de Portimao, cerca de todo. Hay sitio para aparcar gratis en el estadio de fútbol que está al lado, para poder explorar las playas hace falta moverse en coche. Conocimos a Manuela, una de las encargadas del hostal, fue encantadora, nos explico bastantes cosas sobre la ciudad y nos recomendó un restaurante riquísimo para cenar. Muy contentos con la estancia.. Negativa: Poco se habla que el baño privado está separado de la habitación por un pasillo común, por lo que puede ser un poco incómodo..

Positivo: O hostel está localizado na parte histórica de Portimão, sendo de fácil acesso e com estacionamento gratuito relativamente perto, podendo contudo estar ocupado durante as horas do dia. Durante a noite é possível deixar a viatura mesmo na rua do hostel. O quarto tinha janelas amplas, com muita iluminação natural. A decoração dos espaços comuns mostra algum brio.. Negativo: A limpeza dos espaços, apesar de não ser péssima, poderia ser melhorada. Para viajantes que procurem ficar muito próximos da praia, este hostel não será a melhor hipótese, contudo, nesta zona é possível dormir mais tranquilamente por estar longe da zona dos bares da praia..

I stayed here for 4 nights during BPM festival and loved it!!!! Amazing price, very clean, great location and good atmosphere. It's owned by a cute little family (husband, wife, and her mother) who make you feel super comfortable! I even checked out quite late on my last day because I was so exhausted from a crazy weekend and they were so nice and understanding and not bothered. I 100% recommend this hostel!!!

A great place with everything organized and neat, I came during the Christmas time and needed up getting stranded by my ride. I couldn't have asked for better hosts at a hostel, I really enjoyed my time and City Stork is both centrally located in Portimao and the south region of Portugal, couldn't ask for a better location regionally or locally within the city to be able to see everything.
