We popped into the restaurant for a light dinner before going to the theatre one evening in Silves. We were not disappointed, the service is excellent, and the food was tasty. I will definitely be using this restaurant as a base restaurant, when in Silves. I saw some locals also just popping in for a coffee, and/or a beer, definitely a good sign. We were not disappointed with our experience and look forward to the next meal there!!

Ordered a cod dish. Basically was codfish immersed in a dish of olive oil. Absolutely no flavour. Thumbs down.

Ils facturent 1.6 euros le beurre, 1 euros le pain et 0.8 pour quelques olives. Piège à touriste. Mais les plats sont bons.

Think we choose the wrong meal reading the previous comments. Salty Meat was floating in fat and fries so soft you could tie a knot in them. But staff was indeed very friendly.

Son las 22:10 y la cocina está cerrada. Pero nos avisan después de habernos servido las bebidas... Así que tiempo y dinero perdido

Mein Steak war Klasse. Die Bedienung war zuvorkommend. Die nationale Küche, die meine Frau in dem Lokal probiert hat, ist sehr empfehlenswert.

Fantastic food, enjoyed by all of us. The sangria (red) was so tasty. The service was very good, so friendly. A must if you find yourself in the beautiful town of Silves, Portugal.

Jantar tardio em família. O dono é simpático e atende bem. O bife à casa estava uma delicia e a cervejinha bem fresquinha. Recomendo

Fomos muito bem recebidos
Caracóis muito saborosos com pão torrado aromatizado de manteiga alho e orégãos.
Choco frito acompanhado de batata frita caseira e rica salada muito bom.
Local agradável e limpo.

Der Service war nicht gut. Wenn wir was wollten, mussten wir rein gehen. Wir haben nur was getrunken, das war okay. Mehr als Durchschnitt ist es aber nicht

C’est rare de manger aussi mal au Portugal du coup je poste ce commentaire, d’entrée de jeu 6 olives bam 1 euro mon plat bife a Casa baignant dans une sauce marron degueulasse cachant une viande dure et pleine de nerfs et de gras servie avec des chips et l’autre plat calamars panés (chocos) insipides du caoutchouc et la note 31 euros. Lieu à fuir

This place is incredible. You can sit and eat or get take out. The chicken is superb and there is a guy who stands in front of a huge outside BBQ cooking endless chickens and sardines. Haven't tried the sardines yet although they look wonderful, had the chicken again and it was as good as last year. Staff are lovely and work incredibly hard. Very reasonable - 3 course meal & carafe of wine & water for two =18 Euros!

Были в этом ресторане вчера, 09.08.2019. Еда действительно оказалась вкусной, порции огромные, мы смогли осилить только половину, хотя были голодными. Но есть одно НО! После получения от Вас заказа официант приносит Вам тарелочку с оливками, маринованной морковкой, две упаковки масла и упаковочку рыбного паштета, и корзиночку хлеба. Это Вы не заказывали, но Вам всё равно принесли. Мы подумали, что эти принято так, или комплимент от повара. При оплате счета оказалось, что это всё было включено в счёт. И конечно мы с этим не спорили, так как действительно всё это съели, но тот факт, что стоимость моей рыбы раздули в два раза не оставил меня равнодушной! Место плохое, не ходите туда!

This is only our 2nd visit but both times the food has been excellent and the service from Nuno and Sonia is fantastic. Service with a smile and a joke no matter how busy. Will definitely be going a 3rd time, and a 4th and a .......

O sítio é bonito e a esplanada também me parece agradável. Quanto à comida não posso opinar mas pela carta pareceu-me interessante. Posso dizer que o café é muito bom mas simpática do staff para quem pede apenas um café é que não é nenhuma. Este é o mal da restauração nestes locais, só o estrangeiro que não pede NIF na fatura é que interessa.

Had the black pork...very tasty and reasonably priced. Our sever spoke English very well and was attentive, friendly and humourous.
