Most of the staff were friendly, however some of reception staff were beyond rude. I am self-employed so have to make sure my computer and phone is charged at all times. They would not let me do this and would only give one met card despite sharing with a friend. They eventually agreed to give me another key card but I had to sign a disclaimer that I would not use the electricity whilst not in the room.

We enjoyed our stay here, there was wi-fi all around the complex and even in our rooms. The rooms are clean and quite spacious, ours was room 308A and overlooking the pool. The rooms have a safe which has a 20 euro deposit for the key and lock and plenty of storage space in the bedroom. The TV had four English channels and several European channels. If you are thinking of cooking in the room we had a two ring hob and the oven was a microwave oven, so beware of the food you buy as it won't cook the normal oven foods. The restaurant food was excellent and was reasonably priced, the drinks were 2.50 euros for a large beer and 7 euros for a cocktail, the soft drinks were 200ml cans and 2 euros each. The reception staff are very helpful and will help with printing your return boarding passes or they will phone or arrange your airport transfers. The pool area is clean and well kept and have plenty of sun lounges with parasols, all free of charge, there is a grassed area if you want to just use a towel or blow up lilo to lay on.

It's a lovely hotel.with clean spacious rooms.we done breakfast included with self catering and the breakfast is top notch .swimming pools are good with lots of rubber rings and floats for kids and adults no need to buy any ..Sophia at the pool bar is lovely and friendly .old town best for food and shops plenty to do .

Staff were friendly checkin and out was a breeze rooms checked everyday cant find fault with our stay there.

The Hotel was more than we expected The photos on the website do not do this hotel justice. It is immaculate inside and outside and all facilities are on hand and the old town is about a 10 minute walk. We had an excellent time and have recommended this hotel to friends and family. We will definitely visit again in the future.Thank you to all the staff for their help and hospitality when we needed help with something.

Very friendly staff . Hotel well located with a good bar. Would book again although bed was not as comfortable as expected. Would recommend a pool side view as traffic noise could be off putting for some people especially if there’s a road crash at 6 in the morning.

Pokój na nasz przyjazd był posprzątany bardzo powierzchownie, na ręczniku czarne włosy, na podłodze w łazience i w pokoju włosy, w łóżku również, jak pokazaliśmy to pani która sprzątała powiedziała że prześcieradła są czyste... jak hotel 4 gwiazdkowy może na coś takie pozwalać? pierwszy raz spotkałam się z taką sytuacją, oczywiście posprzątali ale nadal nie było idealnie czysto jakieś tam włosy zostały, ogólnie wszystko co potrzeba w pokoju było, ale byliśmy w grudniu a kołdra była bardzo cienka, przez co było chłodno w nocy, oprócz tego wszystko było ok, ale jak dla mnie to nie był standard na tyle gwiazdek, po prostu mam porównanie do innych hoteli

Enjoyed our 6 days stay here and our first impression was how spacious the place is. Real family hotel with great amenities. Best of all, the location is everything and within walkable distance to most places with Albufeira Shopping Centre only 2 blocks away. We loved our stay and will definitely stay here again. The only downside was the restaurant which was very slow even though we were the only ones most night eating there, the wait is torture when you have a toddler and the pizza is a no no no. Twice we got the pizza, they were soggy and not fully cooked with ingredients just thrown on top and not cooked into it. The giant prawns and the steaks were divine and very tasty. The best deal are the kids meal and well prepared, overall it was ok and our disappointment with the Restaurant won't put us off the hotel itself.

Entrance is next to shops and cafés, so does not look like a hotel entrance. Staff are very helpful and speak very good English. Rooms are spacious. The only problem is, that there is only one key card. So we had to go out together, as there were 4 of us. It didn't worry us, but if we wanted to go out separately, may have caused a problem. Pool is large and lots of inflatables, which people have left behind. So no need to buy balls or Lilos. Easy walk to Old town and to The Strip, then on to Praia de Oura. Which is a lovely beach. The Hotel is next to a large supermarket complex. KFC and McDonalds are a short walk across from the Hotel. Would definitely recommend. May go back one day. Taxis are very cheap too. Free WiFi.

Just returned from a stay at this hotel and the central location is very good. The rooms are spotlessly clean, however the layout of the apartment was very poor! No bedside tables! One chair in a studio appt! Lack of mirrors, only one in small dark space with no area to sit and apply makeup - such small fixes would make this hotel befitting its 4 star rating! 100 yards along the road is the Brisa Sol (same 4 star rating) and this is by far the better option as thought has gone into every detail - they have comfort spot on

I will start with the important thing, the WiFi is excellent (I have 2 teenagers ) The hotel is located halfway between the strip and the old town a short walk to either place, everyone is friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and tidy, we went half board the food excellent. The only criticism I could find would be the lack of storage space for four people in one apartment.

Excellent service: we put our luggage in the hotel before the check-in and after check-in without any problem. We have booked the apartament for 4 adults with 2 rooms and we were surprised the sofa was divided into 2 separate parts, so my friend was sleeping at the floor. It was very strange considering that the price for the apartment is not low. Bathroom, kitchen were great! The hotel does not have the buffet meals, but it is possible to have breakfast in the restaurant choosing from "breakfast menu". To sum up, I can recommend this hotel, but in a high season the prices are extremly high for this kind of apartments. Location is great!

We had a lovely stay in Portugal this summer. Very helpful staff, good food at the restaurant and a nice atmosphere at the swimming pool (and no rush to put your dowel down in the morning, unused towels are said to be removed after an hour, although there is no supervision). We spent 2 evenings at the hotel bar for karaoke hosted by Pedro, great energy and and amazing voice. Definitely worth checking out. The rooms were clean and we had all the cooking utensils needed there to make dinner etc. The supermarket is next door and is huge. All in all a very nice hotel for your stay.

Os funcionários do hotel variam entre muito simpáticos e apáticos. As recepcionistas e o pessoal do restaurante são fora série, competentes, simpáticos, impecáveis. O pessoal do bar depende muito, os portugueses são bons os estrangeiros menos bons. Quanto ao pessoal da limpeza são um pouco fechados e parece que estão a trabalhar por obrigação, isso reflete-se na qualidade da limpeza que é mediana. O apartamento em si estava mal equipado mas para quem pouco cozinhou não fez grande diferença. O Wi-Fi é só nas zonas comuns ou nos apartamentos próximos delas. Para ir para a praia de carro é rápido mas a pé é terrível, não aconselho. De forma geral foi uma semana agradável mais pela localização.

Excellent apartments and very clean with a fridge, kettle, small oven/grill and cuttlery/plates etc. There is also a supermarket and various food outlets just a few mins walk away. The pools are large and have plenty of room around them with a good sized bar and covered eating patio. The staff are very strict on noise so it is family friendly as well. Would definitely stay there again.

Clean, friendly staff. Rooms good size and spacious. Do tend to get groups of hen party's but we didn't see any trouble when their. Sunbed s towels started after 8 am. So don't have to get up very early lime some places. Thank God. Well situated between old town and bar street.

Spent 2 weeks at the paladim, a very pleasant hotel, except from Thursday's to Sunday's, very noisy stag and, hen party's no respect for others, if you are unable to walk far, taxis are nearby, we had room 206 pool view, ,large apt ,good food and breakfast is available till 12 noon

Great hotel the rooms were nice, would most definitely stop here again but didn't like the inconsistency with asking for deposits on rooms our friend didn't get charged (it is refundable) either charge everyone or not at all just seems like they are judging you as soon as you walk through the doors

Nous avons séjourné à l'hotel PALADIM à ALBUFEIRA pour un mariage. Ce fut une CATASTROPHE. - Déja à notre arrivée, nous nous sommes fait réclamer 50 euros de caution pour la chambre, alors que nos amis qui avaient récupérés leur chambre plus tôt n'ont rien eu à laisser. C'était en effet écrit quelque part en petit lors de la réservation, mais nous n'avons pas compris ce traitement différent. - Il nous a presque fallu trois quart d'heure pour récupérer 2 clefs de 2 chambres de 4. C'était pourtant pour un mariage, nous étions attendus et nous avions une reservation. - La reception nous a annoncé nous avoir changé de chambre. Arrivés dans l'appartement, seuls les lits de la chambre étaient faits, à l'inverse de ceux du salon, et seuls 2 paires de serviettes dispo (pour une chambre de 4 ca fait peu...) La reception nous a donc donné deux paires de draps et serviettes supplémentaires... oui, donné, c'est NOUS qui avons du faire notre propre lit ..... et je ne vous raconte pas l'état des alèses / drap housse.... - Le chauffage (clim reversible) du salon et de la chambre ne marchait pas, il devait faire 3 ou 4 degrés de plus seulement dans l'appartement que dehors, et bien sur il manquait également une couette .... - MAIS LE POINT LE PLUS INCOHERENT, C'EST LEUR REGLEMENT CARTE D'ACCES AU CHAMBRE : Seulement une carte d'accés à la chambre pour 4 personnes, alors qu'en plus il est OBLIGATOIRE EN ARRIVANT DANS LA CHAMBRE DE POSER LA CARTE DANS UN PETIT BOITIER AFIN D'AVOIR ACCES A L'ELECTRICITE !!! Je vous laisse donc imaginer l'organisation pour un groupe de 4 personnes pour gérer cette histoire de carte d'accés unique ... - L'ascenseur pour aller de la reception à la chambre ne marchait pas toujours et cela n'avait pas l'air de déranger les receptionnistes, hagards, ... - Nous avons eu le droit à un menu (entrée plat dessert) pour le mariage : L'hotel a quand même trouvé le moyen de ne pas être capable de sortir tous les plats et ont servi à une dizaine de personnes (moi compris) des plats différents des autres : legumes crus encore croquants et immangeable, les morceaux de viandes restants et donc gras, .... - Pour finir, le dernier point mais pas le moins important : les receptionnistes ... FUYEEEEEEZZZ !! Je me suis longtemps demandée si la receptionniste était juste profondément stupide ou si elle faisait exprés de ne pas répondre à mes questions et de me pousser à bout : en fait c'était un mélange des deux : elle était complétement stupide et elle faisait un peu exprés. TOUT CA POUR RESUMER : FUYEEEEEEEEEEZZZZZZZZ. Vous pourrez trouver d'autres hotels plus abordables, accueillant et chaleureux !

Returned from this hotel on 7th October shattered and in need of another holiday due to the constant noise from the bar area and other anti social guests. Do not stay in studio 102p as it is directly above where the weekly acts and karaoke wannabees blast out their poor songs until well gone 2am everynight. This hotel just seems to excaserbate the noise along with scraping furniture from inconsiderate guests. We even tried putting towels at the bottom of the doors to deaden the noise to no affect. It was impossible to sit out on the balcony as you couldn't hold a conversation. One night a drone was flying around with a camera on looking into our room for several minutes which was very unsettling. Whilst staying a room just down from ours was broken into and another night a Male disturbed on one on the road facing balconies. The problem is that the hotel has an open to anybody policy for the bar and acts, who just aren't bothered about any noise or guests staying in the hotel and are free to just roam around the corridors with very little security. The rooms are tired and dated and the only way you could use the kettle in the kitchen area was to balance it on top of the toaster to reach the plug socket. Not really ideal!!! The room floor was never cleaned in 2 weeks and the pool cleaners in the morning starting at 7am aren't shy at shouting to one another again waking you up whilst trying to get a bit of sleep. All in all don't bother with this hotel as it needs drastic changes.

Lovely apartment, very closer to the old town rather than the strip, nice bar area and restaurant, 2 pools with sun lounger around pool, big supermarket next and across the road aswell, also nearby loads of restaurants like pizza hut, KFC, Mcdonalds plus local ones, tourists train bus stops very close to entrance of hotel bus costs 4 euro and goes around hotel hop on and off

Fantástico aparthotel con grandes habitaciones limpias y bien equipadas. Todo funciona perfectamente: electrodomésticos, aire acondicionado, wifi en recepción...Baño muy grande. Cama cómoda y enorme. Piscina de calidad.

Lovely open spaces around the pool, such a shame the pools aren't heated as no one is using them! The bar staff are brilliant and work so hard, they make the hotel I think. The hotel is in a great location, 10-15min stroll to old or new town. Nice mix of people stay at this hotel which leads to a great atmosphere.

A very good mid range hotel in a busy seaside resort. The hotel is good for the price, the staff are friendly and the prices are comparable for drinks with all local bars. The only area where there could be an improvement is the shirts which are a bit dated but sufficient for your needs. Overall a very pleasant experience and would definitely come back.

Visited for 10 nights. An excellent hotel, very friendly staff, large open spacious rooms with balcony. Lovely pool areas, never overcrowded. Restaurant and bar had great selection of food and drinks. Its only a short walk to the beach and both the old and new towns. I would definitely recommend it. I was very happy with my stay and if I visit Albufeira again I would certainly love to stay here again.

Room was just ok, needed a bit of modernisation, grout in the bathroom was black & grotty. Had to make the sofa beds up ourselves for the kids as they hadnt been done when we arrived. Kitchen facilities were good. Location is great. Good choice of food & drinks at the pool bar, decent food at a decent price. Wasnt impressed at having to pay for a new room key when the plastic got a small crack in it... the key wasnt new & had obviously been used repeatedly before we got it, it just happened to break whilst we had it & had to pay for a replacement, NEW keys should be issued if this is the case! My wife son & myself, Stayed at the Paladim hotel for our two week holiday, the reception is managed 24/7 which is excellent if you have a problem& they all speak English. The hotel is clean and tidy as is the rooms plus a bonus of the next door hotel was purchased by the Paladim so two hotels in one,with two pools plus sunbeds to boot.

My husband stayed at this hotel where having only 1 key card was inconvenient as sharing room with a golfing friend! Breakfast service was very slow! Either orange or coffee was included so if you wanted both extra cost! Evening meal selection was very limited and had to wait an hour for food! Overall experience poor!

We were in Hotel Paladim for a week with child in aprlil 2016.Very happy there ,clean ,nice settle ,close to the beach and shoping centre . Lovely ,pleasure staff in .We had room with fridge ,microwave ,kettle etc,.I`ll recommended .We also got breakfast there very nice ,and plenty .very good price. 5 STAR for everything.

Lägenhetshotell. Rent och gemytligt. Dock rätt långt till Marinan om man ska på båttur. WI-FI ok i lobbyn, men bara där!. Liveband eller karaoke varje kväll, men tyst och lugnt efter kl 24. AC funkade utmärkt i rummet. Finns glas bedtick kastruller och vattenkokare. De har mkt mer att erbjuda i receptionen typ strykjärn, hårtork etc. Men ska ha deposition på
