Ubicación perfecta, personal simpático, terraza preciosa. Algo fuera de precio para no ser temporada pero al otro con perro no teníamos muchas opciones. Las mejores vistas de la ciudad la terraza común.

Great location. The perfect place to relax. No TV on the rooms but it's Algarve so you came to enjoy the sunny outside, not the inside. If the weather is windy, you can always choose a room with a private balcony or go to the rooftop and enjoy a sun tan or, choose one of the rooms with a river view. Simple, recycled and colourful furniture and a lot of handmade decorations made by the owner or friends, make it a simple place like home, away from home. Really clean place The staff is not always there but, who needs it when they are reached in a phone call. It's a guest house, we feel like a real guest in someone's house, not a 5⭐ hotel with lots of staff that we don't even know their faces. It's perfect in March with sunny days and almost no turists. This was the second time that we stayed in this Hotel/Guesthouse and it’s amazing to see the difference from one year to another! In 2017 we stayed one week and it was a good experience, there was always someone at the reception, remember that the guy had a good English and knowledge of Hotel industry, one day we had a problem with the Aircon at 3 am, and this guy came to the hotel to fix the problem, pick up us in one night at the restaurant and more things that made the high price seem nice! This year diferrent Staff, for one week only saw them twice, the reception guy the day that we talked was smelling like a beer barrel! Not professional!! Had problem again with the aircon but this time no one give a feedback our showed at the hotel, charged me twice for the week, and waited a lote to have the refound! And use the “Eco” to make money and clients. -No Eco on the Bathroom -No Eco on the rooms -No modifications made in one year like we were informed And the most horrible thing, talk with you by Whatsapp when you need something and to justifie The situations this new young lady lies to the clients. So for me it’s a place that I won’t repeat! Building with a lot of potencial and very well localized but runned by people that only want to make money. Steve

Ok guest house. But there is no ventilation in the bathrooms. That means that the whole room gets really wet. The towel did not dry over the 4 days we stayed there. There were also water drops in the ceiling from the first time we took a shower. We started the air condition and opened the door to the bathroom but did not help much. Nice staff.

Sehr nettes und ansprechendes Hotel. Sauber, freundliche Vermieter. Zentral gelegen, Onlinebuchung erforderlich, da Vermieter nicht immer vor Ort.

The hotel is quiet, central right on the river with a rooftop terrace overlooking the river. The owners were very helpful to me, gave recommendations of restaurants and even let me check out a bit late so that I could shower after going to the beach. They were very helpful.

Stumbled across this lovely place by accident and stayed longer than planned. The owners could not have been more helpful and the guesthouse is quirky and situated in a great place to walk into Tavira. Lovely roof terrace looking out over the river.

Excellent place to stay. Room with terracce and a large rooftop terracce perfectly suited to relax on after a day at the beach. Common fridge with coffemachine etc. Perfect for us, very reasonable priced.

Agnes and Bruno are wonderful hosts and are genuinely concerned that your stay in Tavira will be a pleasant one. My room was clean and spacious and was cheerfully decorated. The fact that there was no TV was actually a plus, as the news is always depressing. You have all the other comforts of home, since in the common area there is a refrigerator, a microwave and a hot pot for boiling water. An added bonus is a a rooftop terrace where you can lounge in the sun while gazing at the river. Finally, you are right across the street from the bus station. I truly enjoyed my sojourn in Tavira.

Lugar perfecto para pasar la vacaciones en pareja. Sitio acogedor y muy bien equipado. Pedro el anfitrión muy amable. Nuestra habitación daba la ventana al río y bonitas vistas.

Lovely place, very sweet and helpful owners. Convenient parking is a big plus. On the river so nice views and easy walk around. Only drawback is that if you’re on the street side, it is a little noisy. Not terrible but...

Excellent location near the centre close to the bus station alongside the river. Wonderful views of the river from the room and the roof terrace.

It was good, but here are some suggestions: It would help to have someone at reception; the soaps in small plastic tetrapacks that have to be torn open were frustrating; the colours could have been less loud--bright orange?

Es un sitio pequeño pero tipo hotel con encanto tiene unas buenas vistas aunque no desde la habitación pero la chica te hace sentir como si te conociera aparte puedes admitir el perro o tu mascota y te lo facilitan todo la verdad que volveré a ese sitio

Buena ubicación. Habitación limpia, bonita y cuidada. Realmente un sitio original y muy agradable. Recomendaría hospedarse.

Agnes was excellent with communication, and delightful when she welcomed us to the unique eco-friendly Al-Gharb. The room was spacious & spotless. We enjoyed a glass of wine (or two) on the rooftop terrace with lovely views of the Roman Bridge and riverside cafes. We would recommend Al-Gharb for its location, reasonable price, comfort and ambience. Thank you, Agnes!
