Le patron devant son restaurant fait d'une voix haute un peu de "rentre dedans" ! Un peu saoulant à la longue. On aura tout de même essayé le cataplana qui selon notre avis à beaucoup manqué de finesse, comme le montre la photo, gros morceaux de poissons alors que dans le cataplana il devrait y avoir de petits morceaux de filets de poissons !!! Néamoins la fraicheur des produits n'est pas mise en cause.

For many years we have called in here for coffee, intact it was our first place we went to on arrival. We had coffee and a Portuguese tart. Which was is normal standard, so we thought no more about one day heading here for a coffee and watching the world go by . We have always just sat at any table which we did but was told to move to a table for 2 , this very very grumpy man then gave us menus which we just said no thanks we just want 2 coffee we was then told we had to move as the tables where for people eating , well we did move and keep on going to a more friendly cafe and enjoyed not only coffee but a lovely lunch

Upon arriving for our evening meal at this place we were ignored by a grumpy waiter at the entrance and found ourselves a table in this, otherwise empty, restaurant. We made the mistake of sitting at a table for four, there were two of us, we were rudely told off for it and ushered to a table for two in a poor location. Note that the whole restaurant remained otherwise empty for the whole time we were there. The waiter proceeded to take our order with grumpy one word replies to our questions. After taking our order he grumbled as he adjusted seats around us, muttering under his breath, and loudly slamming small plates down while setting empty tables around us. When the food came, calamares and a seafood stew, they were poor by my standards. Calamares soggy batter and constantly picking broken shell out of the seafood broth. To offer balance the seafood broth tasted nice and the mussles and prawns were large and a generous portion. The cook who brought the food seemed more pleasant and somewhat proud of the seafood dish. I could have forgiven the food with more cheery service but due to our experience of that waiter, who prowled the front of the restaurant, we won't be returning. It seemed inconvenient to him that we were there. We'll not bother him with our business again. Worst service I've ever had.
