De brug is afgesloten omdat ie erg scheef staat en ooit zal omvallen in de rivier. Iedereen gaat gewoon door het hek heen, de brug voelt nog stevig genoeg. Volgens mij is er geen andere optie om het water over te steken als je eenmaal daar bent.
Ik hoop dat ze eens een nieuwe brug bouwen.

There is no bridge here. A new bridge was erected here only 4 years ago and collapsed. The previous one was there for 100 years!
21/01/2020. This is the new bridge that was erected late 2019. It is similar to the previous one but has 4 extra supports to keep it from twisting like the last one..... I hope!

This river is not navigable. Nice views from the old salt marshes and there is a tidemill remains where the river flows into the ria.
