Die Unterkunft war grandios. Super zentral gelegen, so dass man die Stadt auch zu Fuß erkunden kann. Luis und sein Team waren einfach super. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und mit Tipps versorgt. Das Frühstück war super, mit Obst, Eiern, Kaffee und was das Frühstücksherz sonst so begehrt. Danke an Luis und sein Team!!

Highly recommended for the experienced traveler who is happy to not be another big hotel. Luis and his staff really understand hospitality. Breakfast is actually memorable. The location is terrific.....walk out the front door and go to the left and there are three good restaurants.....go to the right and there is both another nice restaurant and best of all...A Faro bar! This is the real deal with no cover charge and local singers. Buy a drink and sit down to enjoy. Toast yourself for making this good choice...and include Rick Steve’s recommending it.

Excelente experiência. Zuza o proprietário é extremamente atencioso. Ambiente limpo e aconchegante. A equipe faz você se sentir em casa, sempre preocupados com nosso bem estar. A localização é boa e silenciosa. Com certeza retornarei.

Ik heb duidelijk andere ervaringen. Bij binnenkomst meldt de gastheer de regels en wat er niet kan (bed verschonen bijv.). In mijn appartement staat nog vieze vaat van vorige bewoners. In de gang/trap een penetrante rioollucht!!! Ontbijt karig en niet afgestemd. Bestek: voor 2 personen net toereikend....De tip om bij de buren (naast) te gaan eten was wel oké.

Would absolutely recommend. Comfortable room, fresh hot breakfast, good amenities, excellent location, AMAZING service. I was in Lisbon for 5 days and wish I had stayed here each night. I am consistently blown away by the service here. This was my 1st stay at the Guest House, though it was my 2nd stay at a Zuza location. SERVICE: They are attentive to every detail with each guest. Luis reached out even before my arrival to confirm the accommodations and ensure someone would be at the property to greet me when it was convenient for me. Ana and Diego were wonderful and offered suggestions of what to do and were always available to help, even when it was clear I was having a hard day. Also, I watched Luis switch seamlessly from Portuguese, English, and French as he greeted each of his guests, and it was lovely. LOCATION: Very close to numerous restaurants and a very lively nightlife. Also close to Rossio, Restauradores, and Baixa-Chiado train stations. Plenty to see (and eat) nearby and can easily connect anyplace you'd like. AMENITIES/ROOM: My double-bed room had everything I needed, with comfortable pillows, as well as towels, slippers, a robe, a safe, a tower warmer, and air conditioning unit. You get your own key at check-in so I could lock my room behind me when I was gone all day, if I wanted to. I shared the floor with 4 other rooms, with one bathroom on that floor. I didn't experience any issues with the bathroom not being available when i needed it. But if necessary, just use the bathroom on a different floor. FOOD: Breakfast is included and is made fresh. Includes juice,breads, cheese, sliced meats, fruit, and made-to-order eggs & bacon. Also, tea & coffee available all day. Full kitchen is available for guest use as well during the day. Things to know: - the location is central to many restaurants, so expect some noise from the street, sometimes late into the evening. Main door faces small street (like an alley), and while there is minimal car traffic, expect noise in the mornings from the garbage truck. The noise carries. -It's an old building. The floors creak and doors opening/closing make noise that carries through the hallway & stairwell. It happens. - There are stairs everywhere!! Inside the Guest House, on the way to the Guest House. Everywhere. - The 3rd floor bathroom has a very small shower stall, not really made for tall people like myself. Best to use the bathroom on the main floor instead, which has a tub/shower combo (and a bidet). - Do not be put off by the graffiti. I've found is fairly common and i never once felt uncomfortable walking to/from the location after dark. Of course use common sense. (LUIS: your welcoming me back into the Zuza family, and somehow remembering me from 2 years ago made my trip wonderful. Traveling solo can be quite lonely, and sitting down for a chat during breakfast, with you and the other guests, has been, more than once, my favorite part of my stay.)

Sehr persönlicher Service. Zimmer sind klein aber in Ordnung. Der Chef und seine Leute sind großartige Gastgeber und kümmern sich wirklich sehr um ihre Gäste. Super nettes Frühstück, jeden Tag jemand da, der einen Tipps gibt. Eine Empfehlung!

É ideal para uma temporada em Lisboa! Quartos ideais e um pequeno almoço de excelência, raro visto em muitos locais....

Super Unterkunft und mittendrin... perfekt um Lissabon unsicher zu machen ;-) Ein bisschen lauter Holzboden beim an den falschen Stellen gehen aber ja eigentlich normal. Wir werden wieder kommen ;-)

Meer dan 2 jaar geleden geweest nu en kijken er nog steeds met positieve blik op terug. Super gastvrij. Budgetvriendelijk en terwijl heel goede accomodatie. Heel goede ligging als uitvalbasis. Vlakbij winkels eetgelegenheden en historische trekpleisters. Voor 100% een aanrader.
