First time here, today. Definitely the best South Indian food in Portugal. Every Mallu, missing home should come here to taste the traditional food. Feels like home away from home.The owner is from Kerala. Very friendly service. Highly Recommended for dosa and Puttu.

A delicious and authentic Keralan restaurant right here in Lisbon! Such a delight to find a place with a delicious homely dosa and a perfectly flavoured spicy fish curry. Everything we ordered was simply delicious. For lovers of real Indian food and visitors wanting a tasty change, you can't go passed Kerala. Highly recommended.

Excellent place to activate your Indian taste buds. Vada is a must have. Hosts are excellent and courteous. Do they engage well with all visitors. Simply loved the experience. Couple of fusion items are available but in case you are just looking for authentic desi food don't try them.

Go there if you are looking for an authentic Kerala dishes because north and South Indian dishes are entirely different. An exceptional South Indian restaurant in Lisbon. They serve very different and marvellous items. I am from south part of India and was very glad to see authentic traditional Kerala dishes for reasonable prize. I highly recommend this one to the locals and tourists as you can feel the real taste of Kerala. Loved, enjoyed and felt like home!

We order the food through uber eats , became of covid restriction we preferred to be in home . The delivery was so fast and very good packing . The food was awesome taste , we had ordered some vegetarian options and non veg options. Mathanga erisseri , vazguthana theeyal, kuttandan fish curry. All items taste so good and feel like we are in gods own country. My friend kid interested in tandoori chicken we had order the tandoori chicken and he loved it . Thank you Kerala Restaurant for giving us a homely feast . Whenever this covid restriction over we will surely visit the restaurant

Friendly Staff.
The service was professional yet intimate, and along with the sheer quantity of the dishes served, their great price motivated me to pass on my recommendation.
I enjoyed their mango Lassi / shake & giant fresh crisp Chicken Samosa accompanied by a selection of appropriately selected seasonal vegetable.
The chicken Tikka Masala everything at a reasonable price
Highly recommended.
Must visit.

Fantastic food! Authentic South Indian food. We enjoyed the good food with a very warm and friendly service. This is a place that I strongly recommend. If in doubt on what to order, request the staff to suggest. I enjoyed the Biryani, fish and chicken dishes. The desserts are a must try as I tried 4 out of the 5 on the menu. We loved it!! Thank you!

Hands down the best Indian restaurant in Lisbon - and one of my faves anywhere in the world. I've been to India (including Kerala) many times, and lived mostly in London, so I've eaten a lot of fantastic Indian food. The tastes here are spot on. It's hard to pick a highlight - the dosas are amazing, the paratha, all the curries we've tried are fantastic, but my particular favourite is the Kerala Pepper Masala, which is a semi dry curry. Add to the food, the service is attentive, friendly, and helpful without being overbearing. Can't wait to go back.

Wonderful experience, authentic South Indian Cuisine, Masala Dosa is super large looks beautiful and taste awesome. We also had Panner tikka Masala, Koon Theeyal and Rice. Paneer Tikka is a dish of North India but Kerala restaurant cooked it very deliciously. Koon Theeyal cooked with Mushroom (champiñón) and Tamarind was a unique taste.

When l go to a local ethnic restaurant my criteria is quickly to check if the native eaters are coming. This Indian restaurant certainly gets recognition from their own people. The food is good, the restaurant is clean and neat. The service is friendly. The choices are wide. A great place also for vegetarians and vegans. My curry chicken choice was delicious and it was served medium spicy upon my wish. I could easily have tolerated a spicier one as this ”medium level spicy” tasted light to me. Nevertheless it was very tasty. Also the south Indian food Masala Dosa served in a crunchy crepe with stewed potatoes , lentils and beans, on the side with chutney sauce appears to be their signature dish. It is a budget restaurant.

Amazing experience at this restaurant! We ate outside. One of the owners came to our table and greeted us personally, sharing her story as an immigrant and expressing her joy at being able to share her culture with us. She went so far as to invite us to come back the following day to join her family in celebrating Diwali, which we unfortunately couldn't work into our plans.
The food was honestly amazing - spicy and fresh, vegetarian friendly and authentic. The garlic naan was extremely garlicky (in a good way). If we lived nearby we'd be regulars.

Numa cidade com uma oferta de restaurantes indianos numerosa, por vezes torna-se difícil encontrar os diferenciadores e de qualidade. Este restaurante é tudo isso e muito mais. Uma carta variada, em que o caril não é o foco. Recomendo a quem se queira aventurar em pratos indianos diferentes, executados com excelência. I was in Lisbon for a week and everyday I visited! The chef is the owner and is very passionate about creating genuine dishes from his Homeland with local ingredients. This is a difficult task as the rice for Dosa and Puttu is used differently in Kerala. Kerala cuisine is awesome and it is connected to Portugal. If you visit Maritime museum and the Sintra Palace you can see the Kerala/Cochin connection. The owner is young and prepares all the bases himself so you will get the same genuine Kerala taste every single day! I would recommend Puttu + Kadala curry + Mutton stew. I might travel to Lisbon just to have food here. Ofcourse Lisbon has a lot to offer culinary wise but this was a total surprise. Best Kerala restaurant in Europe for sure!

Nice place with indoor and outdoor seating. Indoor much preferred in November! Naan was stellar. Butter chicken awesome. Prawns Kerala also excellent. The owner recommended a delicious bottle of wine. We'll be back!

We really enjoyed the typical kerala food.We are from kerala and this restaurant serves the typical perfect kerala food.The courtesy of the people and the ambience of the reastaurant gives us a nostalgic feeling of kerala ...My child was so excited to see Masladosa .Kozhikodan Biriyani and chicken 65 rocks!Pidiyum Kozhiyum also was an intersting one

A última estrelinha fica em falta por causa do preço, que não é espetacular. Os pratos rondam os 12€. As quantidades são muito boas. Eu, por exemplo, trouxe o resto do jantar para casa.

Being a South African I can honestly say one of the best curry restaurants I have tryed in Portugal and trust me I have tryed alot of palaces. Don't let the looks of the out side deceive you this place has really great fish and also lamb curry. And hands down the most amazing home made rose petal icecream I have ever had. Very friendly service and the lady speaks English as well.

The owner of this restaurant is wonderful human being. I have to share my experience, I was on a trip to Lisbon and searching for some temporary workplace. I searched for an Indian restaurant and called to the restaurant finding on google. Unhesitatingly he invited me to the restaurant and fed me knowing I’m hungry without any charge. Next time when I visit Lisbon I’ll definitely visit his place to thank him for his kindness.

Really nice authentic Kerala food. Hospitality at it's best. The couple who run the restaurant are really sweet and they make sure you have tasted the best Kerala food . If you are looking for good South Indian food , this is the place to go. We tried their chicken 65. Kerala parota, chicken pepper Curry and kadalai(peanut) curry, brinjal Curry, puli Inji and pakodas . The food was just yummm. The conversation with the host was really good. The deserts were nice. Rose petals ice cream was good. Thanks for a memorable dinner .

The staff was friendly. They explained us the meaning of Kerala, an area in the south of India. The garlic cheese naan was so delicious with the tamarind sauce. The lamb Kerala curry is full of flavors and light because there is no cream inside. Definitely I recommend you to try it !

Superb food. Puttu, Dosa, Pollicha meen, Unniappam ...where .. in Lisbon.. an awesome experience. The place is run by a husband and wife pair. Very talented.. everything tasted like what we get in Kerala. Still cannot believe that we found an authentic south Indian restaurant in Lisbon. Very highly recommend .

After a few days of eating Portugese food in Lisbon my wife and I were dying for some spicy, flavorful food. Kerala Restaurant satisfied our need! Great restaurant to check out. Authentic Kerala cuisine. We came from US. Was in Lisbon for few days. Found this place. Was surprised to see a Kerala restaurant. Contrary to places tagged as Indian restaurants which is a broad term, this place was specific on the kind of food they were serving. Vijeesh (Chef/Owner) and his wife are great hosts. Absolutely recommend this place.

A comida é incrível. Foi até hoje o melhor caril de gambas que comi! Recomendo!
A sala é pequena por isso provavelmente será melhor reservar antes.
O estacionamento também não é dos melhores pois encontrar lugar naquela zona é obra!

The owner and staff of this restaurant are very polite and kind. We were introduced to certain traditional dishes from the southern Indian region of Kerala and were explained how the dishes were prepared. Aside from the nice conversations and great service from the staff, the food was just amazing and very tasty. I would recommend having dinner at Kerala to everyone who visits Lisbon, and will certainly return if I have the chance. Excellent restaurant!
