Have eaten here 3 times. They serve some of the best tenderloins I've ever had and my friends agreed. Somewhat pricy (~50€) compared to other places in Lisbon but worth it considering the location and quality of their offerings

Muy buena experiencia , la comida muy rica, las empanadas estilo tucumano las note muy similares a sus originales argentinas , la carne rica también, con cortes estilo internacional pero muy buenos. La oferta de vino muy buena y las recomendaciones muy buenas al paladar también . La guarniciones bien distribuidas . El servicio bueno y solo la orden con el servicio de tableta no me funcionó, que es un detalle menor para la gran cena y su bella vista . Lo precios elevados pero valen en calidad .

Very nice Argentinian restaurant in on Lisbon's main road up from the seafront.
It's a nice atmosphere inside and they have a large picture window that reveals how high up you actually are.
The food here is of a high standard, and if you're after some meat you'll be very pleased with what's on offer, though I opted for a seafood tagliatelle that was still really good so it's a well balanced menu in a pleasant restaurant.

A carne é muita boa, o serviço é médio e o espaço também. A grande mais valia é a vista fantástica sobre a cidade. Os preços são exageradamente caros. Não recomendo pois há muitos sítios em Lisboa com carne da mesma ou melhor qualidade bastante mais em conta. Além de que o espaço e o ambiente deixam muito a desejar.
Às 23h e pouco, quando acabámos de jantar (e ainda com várias pessoas a jantar) começaram a desmanchar a sala e a prepará-la para o dia seguinte. Inclusivamente já alguns empregados estavam desfardados. Ora, para um sítio onde pagámos 110€ por 2 gins, couvert, uma garrafa de vinho (a mais barata da casa), dois pratos e duas sobremesas.... parece-me pouco adequado. Senti-me roubada.

While you can eat well for a smaller price, the overall quality of this place more then makes for the difference.
Tasted an excellent Bife de Chourizo and an entry of Porc and Pineapple and only drinked water but my friends confirmed the wine was quite good. I particularly liked the inside garden reserved to smoke. It' doesn't make you feel like an outcast.
The attendants (guy and two girls) were all extremely nice and receptive to our demands and also a pleasure for the eyes.
Overall it was a quite good experience.

Um restaurante com excelente atendimento e boa comida.
O preço é um pouco alto mas vale a pena pela vista panorâmica da cidade de Lisboa, possível de ver em praticamente todas as mesas internas do restaurante.
Convém chegar cedo ou reservar com antecedência para não perder a viagem e a oportunidade de conhecer esse belo restaurante.

Great Argentine cusine offering typical beef cuts grilled on the traditional Parrilla. Besides that they also offer a variety of different dishes, from pasta to fish. The location is beautiful, with an astonishing with of city. If you manage to get a reservation ask for a table as close as possible to the windows.

This place was a pleasant surprise, we came here after the wait at another restaurant was too long and would highly recommend. The staff were not the most attentive (had to ask a number of times to get more water) but the food made up for it.

Boa carne e boa batata. Para o preço, devia acompanhar também com qualquer tipo de legume. Vidta fabulosa. Staff mediano na simpatia e eficiência. Decoração e apresentação dos pratos um pouco antiquada. Acho inadmissível cobrarem 3€ por uma garrafa de água, de torneira, embalada pelos próprios em garrafa de vidro com o nome do restaurante.

bad experience: I booked for one person and after 5 hours they refused me only because they probably sold the table for two .... also they blocked me every other booking on the application so that I cacellassi the reservation ... wretched

The lunchtime buffet (weekdays only) for 14 euros includes all you can eat and a wine/beer, and is great value. The dining room has panoramic views over the city. And you're treated very well. Highly recommended!

Tem alguma variedade (é um buffet) mas a qualidade é medíocre. Tem é um salão com uma vista colossal sobre a cidade e um ambiente acolhedor e descontraído. O preço: é caro para uma refeição normal e é barato para quem "come que nem uma besta" mas a fraca qualidade não traz gula a ninguém.

Boa comida, com pouca seleção de carnes. Bom restaurante em tempos, desactualizado de momento. Actualmente focado no atendimento turístico. Staff com pouca paciência e pré disposição para recomendar um bom jantar ou vinho. De salientar uma péssima abordagem para SACAR "gorgeta" por parte do staff de mesas, deixando o cliente comprometido caso não colabore.

We had a delicious Christmas dinner here. You definitely need to reserve in advance since many restaurants are closed on Christmas. We will definitely try to make this a tradition! The steaks and sides are all cooked wonderfully and the views over Lisbon are lovely. I had the best “creamed” spinach here which was full of fresh spinach, and not your average overly doused with white sauce variety.

Wer gerne ein Stück Fleisch, dass sich mit dem Buttermesser teilen lässt, im Teller hat, für den ist das La Paparrucha ein Muss während eines Lissabon Besuchs. Abgerundet wird der Gaumenschmaus mit einer wunderebaren Sicht über die Dächer Lissabons.

I was fortunate to be treated to dinner here for my birthday during the summer and cannot fault it what so ever. The restaurant looks small from outside but upon entering has ample space, including a beautiful terrace area from which to enjoy a drink and take in the city view. Service was absolutely fantastic and our waitress was knowledgeable (of both the menu and accompanying wines), helpful, and attentive. The food itself both looked and tasted delicious and was an absolute delight. A return visit to this restaurant will most certainly be on the cards when I am back in town and thoroughly recommend checking it out. A well earned 5 stars.

Absolute tourist trap, shameful attempt at argentinian food and on the process seeking to make as much money as possible from the costumer with exorbitant prices for the abismal quality, charging for appetizers served before ordering that seem like gratuity, charging 3€ for tap water in refillable bottles that are not even opened in front of you, and staff that seem to be living in the clouds. Not worth a meal whatsoever. I do recommend having a beer or something light by their window as they have great views; however, don’t linger for long.

Carte présentée sur une tablette ce qui permet de voir les plats et les prix. Petit bémol : à l'arrivée on pose 4 petites bouchées sur votre table alors que vous n'avez rien demandé, que l'on vous facturera sans vergogne.... Dommage.

Aí, você sai procurando um lugar para comer depois das 10:30PM em Lisboa numa terça feira e se sente meio desamparado. Ao contrário da Espanha em Portugal o povo dorme cedo ( ou janta cedo, ou não sai de casa, sei lá) e os restaurantes ou estão super cheios e já não aceitam espera ou já estão fechando.
Claro, há exceções e o La Paparrucha é uma delas. Apesar de não ter muita gente na parte da frente, estavam abertos e fui conduzido ao salão principal, onde ainda havia bastante gente e uma magnífica vista da cidade.
A comida tem por proposta as carnes argentinas e acerta com qualidade. O atendimento é simpático e eficiente. Não tentam impor nada, mas fazem boas sugestões a partir da conversa sobre seus desejos e interesses.
Um pouco caro nos vinhos, numa terra de vinho bom e barato. Nas carnes ( boas e bem feitas) o preço ainda que alto é justo.
Foi uma gostosa surpresa e uma boa solução em função do horário.
Vale a pena.

Great place from start to finish. You choose what you want off an iPad by ticking and stating how many items of each you require. Me and my partner chose the grilled sirloin steak, think it was 270grms, it was a good size for €22 each, a side of real potato fries with the skins left on for about €3.50, two sauces, mushroom and a peppercorn for €2 each and grilled vegetables for about €3.50. we had two drinks, half a lager and a port. In total the bill came to €62.20. the quality of the steak, sauces, in fact the whole meal was excellent, would highly recommend this place, its well worth a visit!

A comida é muito normal para o preço que tem. Apenas têm um vinho a copo, o vinho da casa e não há possibilidade de tomar outro vinho a copo. Aceitam grupos, o que pode tornar o jantar das pessoas nas outras mesas um inferno! A sala não é muito grande e tinha uma mesa de 13 pessoas e outra de 11 pessoas, ambos grupos muito barulhentos. Nas restantes mesas (cerca de 10 mesas com 2 a 4 pessoas cada uma) era impossível conversar. Julgo que num local assim onde se espera um ambiente acolhedor e agradável deveriam colocar os grupos numa sala e as mesas mais pequenas noutra sala, em vez de terem uma sala de fumadores (têm um terraço grande, metade coberto, onde as pessoas podem fumar). Para nós foi uma desilusão!

En este sitio la comida es muy buena la ubicación fantástica no obstante los camareros son pésimos, pedimos un plato nos intentan cobrar otro y es el cliente quien se lo tiene que pagar el dinero y la falta de profesionalismo pues ni un pedido de disculpas. O preço é para carteiras mais volumosas, mas a comida e a visita privilegiada fazem valer a pena o dinheiro que "investimos", pois é um investimento para o corpo e alma.
A carne é maravilhosa e há uma boa escolha de vinhos.
O serviço é muito bom.
No verão costumam ter uns eventos de "Sunset" no terraço do restaurante, eventos esses que nós podemos inscrever na guest list através do Facebook. A não perder.

Negativ: Leider waren die Steaks mehr als done, obwohl medium bestellt wurde. Zudem wurde Kalbfleisch bestellt, es wurde aber maximal Jungbulle serviert. Des Weiteren kostet ein Schnaps 12,50 €.

Uma decepção. Menu apresentado num Tablet, anunciam-se como excelente carne Argentina mas... quem sabe o que é grelhar e comer carne de primeira tem muito melhores opções. Carne marcada na grelha que vem a "nadar"cheia de molho por baixo e com sangue cozido à volta, não é seguramente do melhor. Serviço atencioso.

Nice location with a nice view. Unfortunately the service was somewhat disappointing.
We were handed a tablet computer as a menu and selected our dishes. The waiter did then manually write down the items on a note only to enter then into the computer elsewhere.
While the first entrees were being served, the drinks were nowhere in sight. After 20 minutes they finally arrived.
The waiter spilled some sauce on my trousers when he set the plate down. A little bit later we were interrupted and had to stand up, as a staff member wanted to grab a bottle of liquor from a cabinet behind our table. Odd situation.
A split check for our table wasn't available either, which was avoidable actually using the tablet computers...
The most annoying thing was that we were sides charged that we never ordered. They appeared to be complimentary.
However, the meat appeared to be of supreme quality. Very delicious!
Considering the prices, this place does not live up to high standards. Not as fancy as you might think upon entering.

The good:
- Service was great and pleasant
- Ribeye steak was (VERY) good
- Seasoning was quite nice
- The bottled water was very fresh
- exquisite views
- Food arrived very fast
- Awesome restroom decor
The bad:
- The sides we had (sweet potatoes, spinach) were very meh, bland and boring to eat
- The cod fish was a tad bit bland as well
- The steak was served without any salt and pepper, and when asked for - you get a simple salt shaker, not really fitting for a presumably Argentinian restaurant.
- The dessert (Argentinian pancakes) were a bit burned in the center, a tad too sweet.
- This whole iPad-as-menu thing is a big turnoff and doesn’t do any good to any reputable establishment in my opinion.

Long review. Short version: amazing place, amazing food, superb view, one of the best views in Lisbon off the terrace and, most importantly the service was outstanding.
Going to La Paparrucha is not a new experience. The restaurant has always provided a great dining experience and remains solidly in my top3 places in Lisbon to "eat meat", especially with customers or anyone I'm showing off Lisbon to. The terraces offer an amazing view of Lisbon and, in milder weather, are amazing places for a few drinks. The restaurant offers sinful cuts of meat with a flawless understanding of what rare and medium-rare (sadly a somewhat rare thing), delicious chimichurri, a better-than-most assortment of sides and a great wine list.
Having written the bulk of a normal review, what has prompted to make it a point to write a review was what I consider most important in a service-industry establishment - the service.
A few minutes into being given menus and appetizers, La Paparrucha was delivering on my high expectations. They would soon be vastly surpassed. Enter Lucia Monteiro, our server, and unofficial sommelier. The group of mostly foreigners didn't know what to drink, they shouted somewhat contrasting styles (fruity, dry, balanced I think were the characteristics mentioned). With incredible class and grace she took the challenge making it sound not at all far-fetched and suggested two incredible wines which accompanied each step of our meal incredibly (and seriously increased our guests experience and their opinion of our restaurant choice, through little merit of our own). Lucia followed this up with stellar recommendations for digestif, suggesting my favorite drink, from a producer I am now a fan of but was before unaware of.
I would recommend the wines individually or the "aguardente" (Portuguese brandy), but in truth those will change, vary according to stock, year, etc. What I truly do recommend is that you go to La Paparrucha, have a wonderful evening and, if possible, I'd not chose a bottle of wine without asking for Lucia's delightfully delivered expertise.

It was alright. Not bad but I've certainly had better. Place was understaffed, cheap feeling tablet menus and electronic buttons you pressed for attention from waiters. Cocktails tasted cheap and food was slightly boring and bland. On a positive note the meat was top quality, wines were reasonably priced and the views were spectacular.

The food was absolutely amazing and delicious, very well cooked and with style, the staff are very welcoming and super friendly I was there on my birthday and they got me a cake for free! If the view was not spectacular enough, the service and food at La Paparrucha blew me away. The maitre'd welcomed us in and chatted to my son before showing us to our table. We all had steak which was perfectly cooked, tender and was a tasty char-grilled flavour, accompanied by a variety of scrumptious sides. Dessert was ice-cream and chocolate pancakes and all for just over €100 for 3. One of the best meals I have had, ever. Pity I cannot give it more than 5 stars.

I went for the lunch buffet 14€. The price/quality ratio is very good. You get soup, a buffet of starters, mains, salads and grilled meat, and deserts, a drink - I had , plus coffee.

Mauvais rapport qualité prix. Nous avons réservé la vue panoramique. Celle-ci nous été refusé notre arrivée. Nous supposo du fais de la présence d enfant. Notre table réservée est restée vide durant notre repas. La serveuse a fais semblant de parler uniquement en anglais puis nous nous sommes aperçu qu'elle parlais un français impeccable. Nous déconseillons ce restaurant. 300 € pour 4 menu enfant et 4 plats et dessert adulte.

Probabilmente siamo stati sfortunati, la carne non era ottima (sono le 2.30 di notte e ho finito di cenare alle 23.30, non riesco a stare stesa e mi viene da vomitare) ed i prezzi abbastanza alti. Il personale invece è fantastico e super accogliente e professionale, i camerieri super gentili e simpatici hanno anche avuto la gentilezza di spostarci più vicini al panorama non appena si è liberato un tavolo, ma il cibo per me è stato un grande no.

Besides excellent food and wines the staff should also be mentioned as a a full 5 star service... and then there is the view of Lisbon at your feet while you're having a good meal!

Porque no puedo poner 0 estrellas...
pésimo el jefe de sala... metieron un plato de más que no había... pero si cobraron... y el agua es rellenada que ni siquiera ves de dónde viene... y si dices de llevarte el vidrio de recuerdo te dice que vale 15€!! Vaya vaya!! Lo único bueno un brasileño y las vistas... pero para eso vayan a otro sitio que hay muchos y mejores! Y caro!

Muy decepcionados, el brasileño muy amable y nos atendio genial.
Pero nos cobraron el pan y le dijimos q se lo llevara... Y para colmo pedimos una empanada y nos la cobran tambien... Caro para lo que es

Situación, carta y atención perfecta. Si se le puede poner un defecto es que para ser Portugal quizás el precio sea un poco elevado. Con la cartera llena es un rincón exquisito si te gusta la buena carne y el buen vino.
