This hotel was INCREDIBLE! It was so beautiful and peaceful, the perfect place to spend time in Cascais. Wonderful staff, delicious restaurants, and the most incredible breakfast buffet I’ve ever seen. The pool was a perfect place to relax. It was about a 15-20 minute walk or short Uber ride into the main part of town. The walk was along a path with beautiful with view of the water, so we did not mind walking. Lots of great beach options nearby and fun restaurants and shops in town!

War alles ok gibt nichts negatives außer das die Bedienung des öfteren mal vergisst das man da ist. Gerade beim Frühstück viel das auf. Leider weil sie den sehr guten eindruck getrübt haben.

Das ist Genial in jeder Beziehung,jeder Stern hat seine Berechtigung Es ist wirklich das Beste Hotel weit und breit.Es ist wirklich teuer aber dafür auch exklusiv.Während meines Aufenthaltes waren die meisten Gäste US Amerikaner.Was mir nicht gefallen hat ,war ,das das Hotel mit ua. SPA Resort wirbt und bei den Preislagen je Nacht für den Zugang zum SPA extra 20€ berechnet ,jedesmal!! und nur mit Terminvereinbarung.Bei 250€je Tag /Nacht habe ich hier Mühe dem Marketingkonzept zu folgen.Das Personal ist mehr als überdurchschnittlich geschult

The Grand Real Villa Italia is my favorite hotel in the world. That is a strong statement as I do not live close to Portugal and have been to many wonderful places in my lifetime. I recently turned 40 and thought that I should go back to my favorite hotel and celebrate with my friends. I made two reservations. I made one for myself for the date of 4/20/19. I stayed in the hotel room by myself that night. I made a second reservation for 4/21 for 3 people.
On the 21st I called the front desk to request that the room's beds be remade as I had another reservation for that evening. I also asked for them to bring in another bed. When I made the original reservation I asked for 3 beds NOT a roll away bed. I was very disappointed that I was given one. I thought we would have 2 double beds. It was literally a child's bed. I went to the pool and then lunch came back to the room and noticed the beds were not only not changed but were haphazardly made. I went to the front desk and spoke to two women requesting the beds be remade with fresh bedding as I had a new reservation. I also told them how much I loved the hotel and they stated that they will have champagne be sent to my room. This NEVER happened. Also I went back to the pool and noticed all my belongings were moved and my towels were gone. That was not okay. I would think a 5 star hotel would do everything in their power to accommodate guests. Especially guests that have stated this is their favorite hotel.
Because of these 4 egregious things. I am very disappointed and contemplating writing a Google review. My beds were never changed with fresh bedding for my second reservation, not 3 beds, no champagne, and my belongings and towels moved from the pool. I think the thing that upsets me the most is that it my favorite hotel and I asked about the bedding twice. I am truly disappointed. I am not a wealthy woman and work very hard for my money. I traveled thousands of miles to celebrate my 40th and I was truly disappointed.

Jolie chambre / Personnel au petit soin Par contre on a découvert que le spa était payant , à savoir que dans un 5* il est inclus étant donné que le prix de létablissement est déjà élevé ! (Dommage, de plus le spa ne vaut pas les 20 euros dentrée, petit bassin , vestiaire pas entretenu, pas de fruits secs ou autres... )

Sehr schönes Hotel an guter Lage. Parkplatz war gratis. Unser Zimmer war in einem separaten Haus ausserhalb des Haupttraktes. Es gab leider kein Balkon, dafür seitliche Meersicht. Das Personal war stets freundlich und aufmerksam. Leider waren für unseren Geschmack zu viele Kleinkinder beim Frühstück. Wer also vornehme Ruhe sucht, wird hier wohl nicht glücklich. Vorschlag: Bereich nur für Erwachsene einrichten oder Hotel Adult Only machen. Ansonsten alles Bestens für diesen Preis.

Je voulais donner 5 étoiles mais le brunch était vraiment limite et pas à la hauteur. A éviter. Car ce n est que le petit déjeuner améliorer. Pas bcp de plats préparés. Dommage. Et le jour de pâques au petit déjeuner et dans l hôtel. Pas d attention pas de festivités. Dommage. Ces hôteliers devraient aller voir les hôtels autrichiens pour apprendre l hospitalité. Sinon l hôtel est bien même si assez bruyant surtout à cause du bruit du restaurant et le manque de chaises à la piscine est visible. Il manque 20, chaises minimum. Un plus au personnel très gentil par contre

Ambiente agradable. Desayuno espectacular. Las habitaciones con un lujo muy discreto. El jabón de las amenities marca Castelbel es muy bueno. El spa por el precio que tiene ofrece muy poco con un mantenimiento mediocre (muchísimas agua en el suelo en la zona de las duchas).

From the moment you enter to the moment you leave - all the staff are incredibly kind, patient and fantastic hosts.
The rooms are incredible, the spa is great and the view of the sea from the hotel is hypnotic!
Breakfast has 5 stations split into drinks, breads+cheese, English breakfast, sweet baked items and healthy items.
The waiting staff are always walking around and very friendly.
Great hotel for a relaxing and relieving all stresses of the world.
Highly recommended.

A beautiful hotel, great service, the breakfast selection was great. Unfortunately the pool was shut during our stay (1st week of March) as the weather was perfect for some sun lounging. Only a short walk into town. Couldn't fault it.

Todos os empregados do hotel foram muitos professionais connosco durante a nossa estadia no hotel. Eu e o meu esposo estamos muitos felizes com o dia do nosso casamento, tudo foi como imaginamos e mais. O hotel é lindo, a localizaçâo é perfeita e o ambiente é maravilhoso. A noite do nosso casamento era mesmo perfeito. Todos os empregados fizeram o máximo para tornar a nossa noite de núpcias à uma ocasiâo memorável. Também quero mencionar que toda a refeiçâo estava deliciosa. As sobremesas eram óptimas e de melhores qualidades. O nosso bolo de casamento também era o melhor que já provei, simplesmente uma delicia, e o chefe o decorou exatamente como queria. Quero mencionar igualmente que a Mariana, a Coordenadora de eventos encarregada de organizar o nosso casamento, foi muito simpática, professional, e bastante competente. Durante a nossa estadia, tivemos o prazer de frequentar os restaurantes do hotel, e todos eram óptimos. De facto, cenamos no Belvedere no dia de Natal, e o buffet era excepcional, uma refeiçâo deliciosa de cuatro pratos preparada com os melhores ingredientes. Houve uma variedade de sobremesas que estavam simplesmente fantásticas e deliciosas. Vale a pena adicionar também que nâo hesitamos a voltar a Grande Real Villa Italia no futuro, e de facto estamos bem ansiosos por voltar um dia em breve

This is a gorgeous hotel. I stayed there for five days. It is clean and very well kept. The staff is friendly, kind, and ready to help with anything you need. I was here for an art retreat and the staff told us- anything you need, we’ll make your dreams come true. The conference room we used was very nice but on the smaller side. The breakfast is amazing with so many options! The spa was wonderful- try the thalassotherapy pools and get a massage while you’re there.
It is close to boca de inferno with some amazing views of the ocean, the city center with lots of great restaurants and shops, and only about thirty minutes from Lisbon. I will stay here again the next time I come to Portugal.

Os quartos com excelente conforto têm vista mar ou Jardim.
Tem 2 Bares, 3 Restaurantes, 2 piscinas exteriores com água salgada e uma piscina coberta.
Ao sábado e domingo o Brunch à "boca do mar", um dos melhores de Cascais.
Desde o pão sem glúten e muito, muito +s...
É um lugar, onde o tempo passa devagarzinho.

I visited the Grande Real Villa Italia hotel on a business trip and I loved every minute of it. The rooms are big, clean and cosy. All rooms seem to be different and they all feel welcoming. My room consisted of a bedroom and living room.
The food is great and the staff is nice, the view is amazing. The only downside is the payed indoor pool, to swim for 15 minutes a 20 euro fee was requested. The gym is well equipped.
Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Magnifique établissement...on est chouchoute... tout le personnel est adorable....une mention particulière pour Ana au petit déjeuner qui a contribué à rendre notre séjour super...le service réception est professionnel, les voituriers exemplaires. Les chambres sont propres, service étage au top...un excellent séjour grâce au personnel de l hôtel...un grand merci pour votre délicate attention...le surclassement et accueil VIP pour nos 20 ans de mariage ont été fort appréciés. .. nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir et ne manquerons pas de parler de vous à notre entourage en France. We have just returned from a 5 day stay at this hotel. The staff were amazing - so attentive, considerate, polite and kind, and we can only thank them for all they did for us when one of the children in our group was unwell. We couldn't have wished to have been better looked after. Not only did they call a taxi for us in the middle of the night, but they were always there for us if we needed something extra - an amazingly personal service. Thank you. The hotel itself is beautiful, with wonderful views, and it is in a quiet location but within easy walking distance of the pretty town of Cascais. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, and with such comfortable beds. Room service is excellent, and such good value. The buffet breakfast was delicious, as were the brunches (we went to both the Saturday and Sunday brunch as they were so good). We could see why the spa has had such good reviews. We will definitely be back and are already recommending you to our friends.

Hotel espectacular con vistas magníficas al mar. Las habitaciones son muy amplias y la decoración de calidad. El desayuno es fantástico y tiene una terraza muy agradable con vistas al mar. Tiene un italiano con cocina de gran calidad y diferente de los italianos que frecuentemente nos solemos encontrar pero es sin duda la amabilidad de sus trabajadores pendientes en todo momento de hacer una estancia agradable a los clientes lo que hace que para mi sea el mejor hotel de cascais. Y para venir en familia y con niños fenomenal.

So happy I chose this hotel for my husbands surprise birthday present. It is:
- Beautifully presented and unlike some hotels classed as 5*, this hotel was clearly worthy!
- Excellent, friendly staff who go above and beyond for the simplest of requests.
- The hotel is a stones throw away from the beautiful coast (the lovely staff upgraded us to a penthouse suite free of charge for my husbands birthday) so we got breathtaking views over the ocean.
- As Portugal has a very well priced Uber service, we were able to get to and from the local city centre which is full of bustling shops/ market stalls and restaurants for €2-3
- The all inclusive breakfast was full of flavours and variety.
- I was very pleased to have booked a massage at the hotels spa which like the rest of the hotel, is exquisitely presented with attention to detail and was a truly relaxing experience.
The only two minor issues I thought could have done with some improvement is:
- The outdoor pool was absolutely freezing and clearly had no temperature control which explained why hardly anyone used it. That was a bit disappointing as it meant I only used it once for the duration of my stay.
- Secondly, in our suite, there were stains on the carpet from what looked like red wine in a few spots which is not the biggest deal but just prevented me from giving the hotel 10/10 because it is something which can be easily fixed.
I would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to returning myself!

We stayed for only two nights, which is regrettable because the service, the rooms, the view, the staff are all magnificent.
It’s a beautiful hotel, very elegant but relaxed. The staff makes it special. The hotel faces the ocean, is a short walk to town or to Boxa da Inferno. The outdoors space is Beautifully attended.
We stayed in an ocean front room with a balcony. What a relaxing joy. Housekeeping is excellent, rooms are comfortable and well decorated.
Breakfast buffet is delicious with sparkling wine and vodka for morning cocktails such as mimosas, screw drivers, etc. The staff will also prepare custom dishes such as omelets and eggs Benedict if you like. Be sure to try the almond cake - it’s the best I have ever had.
If I had to plan this trip again, I’d stay at this hotel and travel into Lisbon for day trips. Lovely location and you just can’t beat the ocean and relaxing vibe at this hotel.
Much thanks to the welcoming and friendly staff who made us feel special.

Poderia ser uma boa classificação (4☆) se não fosse o facto de o Hotel ter 5☆. Quarto espetacular, limpo e com todas as acomodações e mimos que precisamos. A perda da estrela tem a ver com um pequeno-almoço referido como soberbo sem que existam produtos que o justidiquem. Muita simpatia e cortesia mas os produtos parecem comprados no Continente. Na minha opinião, menos produtos e mais qualidade.

A great holiday experience in a fantastic location with a historical dimension. Genuinely friendly, helpful and knowledgable staff who give you the feeling that you as guest are the king and this really fits this historic, royal place. The entire team from the reception to the sommelier to the chamber maid gives great service and full attention to the guest, I have never seen a team that delivers this in one hotel in such a consistent fashion, compliments to the manager's leadership skills for forming such a great, focused team that truly care for their guests. Delightful!

Hotel de luxo com uma localização privilegiada. Ficamos num quarto com vista jardim que era muito confortável e bonito. Ofereceram uma garrafa de Porto e pastelaria aquando do check-in. Tem uma piscina interior agradável.
Jantamos no restaurante La Terraza que ultrapassou as nossas expectativas. Comida muito bem preparada, deliciosa.
Não chegamos a conhecer o spa e piscina interior. Tinha um custo adicional de 20€/ pessoa.
O pequeno-almoço é muito bom e o serviço foi simpático e eficaz.
Recomendo este hotel para uma escapadela romântica.

Mal servicio en los restaurantes del hotel, inaceptable en un hotel de 5 estrellas. Una noche estuvimos 70 min esperando la comida, un plato de pasta. En el resto de restaurantes la calidad de la comida regular y el precio altísimo. La limpieza de la habitación muy muy mejorable. Una pena porque el hotel es maravilloso y estos detalles hacen que sientas que te están tomando el pelo. Porque los precios sí que son de 5 estrellas

This is a 5 star that is truly warranted. We stayed for 12 nights at the end of June beginning of July 2018 and found it to be brilliant.
The rooms are spacious and well appointed. We went for a sea view room and I highly recommend these. You look straight out to sea.
The staff are all lovely and looked after us very well. The two restaurants for dinner offer plenty of excellent quality food and surprisingly reasonable prices.
Similarly the food and drink at the pool bar is just right.
The hotel has an opulent feel to it with excellent furnishings and decor. The spa is beautiful and the entrance to it very memorable.
The hotel's position is spot on. An evening stroll into Cascais town takes only 10 mins or so.
We will definitely revisit in the future. This is a lovely hotel, in a beautiful quiet setting close enough to the town but just far enough outside.

The hotel, lobby and pool area are beautiful an in a great location. However, the room that we were originally put in had a very strong odor and a white carpet full of stains. When we asked for a new room, we had the same issues. We were eventually placed in a beautiful villa in a separate building and realized that the updated rooms are the gorgeous pictures that you see online. We were also told that the hotel is planning to renovate the rest within a few months. I personally would be afraid to take this risk in the future, but if you are planning to stay, be sure to call and request a Seaview, updated room!

Não estive alojado no hotel e fui unicamente cliente do brunch. Não é propriamente um brunch apesar de ser em buffet. É mais um bom pequeno almoço num hotel de 5*. Falta muito para um bom brunch e há bem melhor e mais barato. Os funcionários são excelentes e superprofissionais tendo-se tornado a grande mais valia desta refeição. Foram de uma disponibilidade e simpatia rara de encontrar.

It’s terrible that they don’t refill water / coffee capsule inside the room everyday. However , the hotel said if I break the four days stay into 4 bookings, the hotel would refill water / coffee capsule per booking, ie 4 times. This is ridiculous. I would never go back despite I used to stay there quite often before.

We were here for 3 nights and it was a delight. The room was large, clean and great value. Breakfast had an excellent selection and was always fresh. Unfortunately it was too cold for the pool but I would imagine it would be delightful in the summer. And an easy walking distance to the centre.

One of the nicest places to stay in the Lisbon / Cascais area! Highly recommended! Clean, spacious rooms, perfect service, very attentive and friendly staff. Not to forget about the location: next to the ocean, five minutes walk to Boca do Inferno, 16 minutes walk to train station (1,49 km or 4€ with taxi), downtown even less than 10 minutes walk.

Lovely property, underground parking, located well, and in good condition.Pertaining to room 315, the rooms condition were not reflective of the properties standards, the air con was intermittently squeaky, and some part of the door frame was in disrepair. It’s really unfortunate, as it was a suite that we were upgraded into. I’d rather much a modern, problem free room than being “upgraded” to a older and worn out suite.

A festade Natal da empresa foi feita no Grande Real Villa Itália Hotel, não no edifício do hotel, mas no edifício ao lado, no que foi a residência do Rei Humberto, de Itália.
Este edifício está bem adaptado a grandes reuniões e festas de empresas.
No edifício construído para o hotel, funciona o hotel propriamente dito, com uma excelente varanda, que é ainda melhor quando o tempo está quente.

This is one of the best 5 star hotels my wife and I have seen. It’s ultra modern, absolutely clean and with very high end decor. Marble finish everywhere is unique. Staff are very friendly, responsive and very efficient. We spent 5 nights here and wished we stayed longer. It’s also located in a beautiful part of Portugal, close to Lisbon but in a small holiday town of Cascais. It’s close to Sintra, a must see in Portugal, and lots of historical attractions. It was November so we didn’t enjoy the beaches near by. We are planning our next visit to Portugal and this hotel will be our base. Nearby there are many awesome restaurants. The hotel restaurant is great but we decided to check out others in the town of Cascais, a short walk from the hotel. No real cons

It is a really nice hotel! Good food and a room's are insane and really comfy. I would like a coffee machine on the room for a quick cup of coffee.
I was there for a business trip so I didn't use the spa so I can't say anything about that.
Only one thing that I saw. The personal never smiled at me and that didn't make me feel welcomed. I didn't had any fancy closing on me but I hope that wasn't why.
But over all, a cerry nice place and it's a wow experience when you arrive at the hotel!

The personnel is outstanding at this hotel. Always available and very friendly but never pushy. All but one lady at the reception (I think middle long blond hair) that was negative and immediately said that it was our mistake while it wasn´t. Maybe she was a trainee and still need to learn how to deal with customers, but that was the only unpleasant encounter. Cleaniness: Overall quite clean, but for a 5 star I was expecting more (the toilett was not thoroughly cleaned for 3 days, I had a whole in the linens, that was right in the middle of the duvet, the cleaning lady - unless blind - must have seen it, the provided slippers had a whole after 2 days and got only replaced after asking

Great hotel. Stayed here for our honeymoon. Staff is exceptional - all very helpful all hours of the day.
Our room was lovely. Large with a sea view and the biggest bed I've ever seen! Staff knew we were from the UK so there was a UK wall adapter for us to use, nice details you get from a 5 star hotel.
Breakfast is great - buffet style but with extras like omelettes on demand and DIY cocktails if you fancy.
Spa is very nice, and numbers are always limited so it's not busy. Gym looks good but didn't try.
The location is very good - about 10min Walk away from the busy Cascais town. 5mins walk away from a marina with a few shops&restaurants.
Perfect stay, I wouldn't have changed the hotel for any reason!

Superbe hôtel avec personnel au petit soin, on n'a pas pu profiter de la piscine car il faisait quand même frais dommage. La salle de sport est toute petite aussi snif. Le buffet du petit déjeuner est top bien que répétitif mais bon, le restaurant portugais de l'hôtel est très bon bien qu'un peu trop salé Mais serveur super sympa et professionnel.
J'avais demandé une chambre avec lits jumeaux mais j'ai eu une double a la place, est ce un oublis ou une erreur de votre part ? Ou bien vous vous êtes dit un homme et une femme forcément un couple alors que non, amitié homme femme ça existe ^^
En tout cas j'ai fais la remarque et vous m'aviez changé cela de suite

Fantastic welcome from the check-in team.We had a standard room, it was light, bright and airy and looked over the swimming pool.Breakfast was brilliant and all staff were exceptionally polite and helpful.My only two criticisms would be that firstly, there are no tea/coffee making facilities in the room (love a cuppa as soon as I wake up) and secondly. The bed is a fabulous size (sure it was bigger than a super-king) but incredibly noisy, even when just sitting on it!Hopefully planning to go back next year!

Don’t care about their guests and the special occasions in their lives unless they are millionaires or work in the travel industry. We were given an old dirty damaged dark suite despite contacting them prior to travelling to inform them it was our wedding trip. Pictures speak for themselves. My husband has asked for a surprise with fresh flowers, prosecco and chocolate in the room for arrival. He never received a response and had to call the hotel to make sure they prepare that. We arrived at 14.45 and only got our room at 15.40! Check in time was 15.00. No apology, no compensation and no explanation. No fresh flowers left in the room. Only fake rose petals. All they offered us after our complaint was a downgrade but no refund of cost and asked us to speak to hotels.com for the refund. Not sure in what world this is 5-star service. We met an American lady who was a travel agent fromNew York who told us she was upgraded to a Penthouse on the same day we checked in. Just goes to show where their priorities are. Manager is useless and not interested in hotel guests and may need one or two training courses in customer services and guest experience. We took 14 people to their hotel (our wedding guests) and they all had nice room excepts from us as the bridal couple. Well done Grand Real Villa Italia. None of our guests will be coming back either.

The service at the Grande Real Villa Itália Hotel and Spa is outstanding. Every staff member was available and able to answer any question we had for them, and promptly responded to requests. The rooms are clean and lovely, and very comfortable.
The hotel overlooks the coast, and it is a quick walk to Boca do Inferno. The views are amazing!
Breakfast can be eaten inside or outside, near the pool. It consists of many fresh fruits and pastries, plenty of juices, and breakfast meats. The staff is attentive to keeping your coffee refreshed and your table clear of plates.
Descending into the spa is almost like entering a fantasy world, as you walk down stairs with water flowing on either side. It's calm and peaceful.
The pool is lovely, but unheated.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were not ready to leave, and hope to return soon!

Villa Italia will always hold a special place in my heart as it is where we chose to have our wedding. We had visited previously and were blown away by the staff and the facilities. The spa is so relaxing and extremely good value. The rooms are luxurious and if you are lucky enough to have a sea view then you will be blown away. We ate in all of their restaurants, from the terrace to room service and every one in-between. The food is delicious. The place really is fit for a king. If there is one stand out thing I have taken away it is the professionalism of every single one of the staff. Their attention to detail is mind blowing. Will keep returning so long as we are returning to Cascais

This place was excellent. I liked the location it is far away from the crowds in Lisbon, but it is still easy to see Lisbon via train. It is a resort located about 300 meters from the beach. There is a great beach boardwalk (actually pavers) that leads to the Boca do Inferno. Short walk to town to take the train to Lisbon or the bus to go to Sintra. The staff here is what made the stay well worth the money. The breakfast buffet was phenomenal - great selection of eggs, meat, cheese, bread, fruit, and pastries. The lounge offered a decent selection of beers and wines.

I'd say this is one of the top 5 hotels in the country. Located in the "PORTUGUESE RIVIERA", this was the home for the last 40 years of life of the last king of Italy. With that presentation card, you can easily assume the quality and historic value of this stunning building. The spa? One number will easily define its importance: 1000 Square meters! How about that? Rooms are massive. And the penthouses? Well... Expensive, yes. But a life changing experience!

Excelente local para relaxamento e descanso. Pessoal muito atencioso. Possui um spa interno de muito bom gosto, com piscinas aquecidas e programas de tratamento. O quarto que ficamos é bastante amplo. Café da manhã bem sortido, sem, contudo, fugir ao padrão europeu. Gostei muito.

Costumo visitar este hotel exclusivamente para o spa incluindo as excelente massagens. Mas desta vez, fiquei alojada pela primeira vez e desiludiu-me. O quarto tinha carpete no chão, que por sinal estava toda suja e manchada ... A casa de banho estava cheia de cabelos na zona da banheira, as almofadas da cama estavam manchadas... para um hotel de 5 estrelas ficou muito aquém !
Em relação ao spa, acho que devia manter o espaço arranjado e luxuoso, há azulejos caídos, o tecto todo estragado, uma zona de bar completamente vazia, que até poderia ser útil para os hóspedes; Na parte do restaurante, onde foi servido o pequeno almoço, estava constantemente a faltar loiça, desde copos, pratos, taças...demoravam imenso tempo a repor á comida, enfim... Perante esta visita, não diria que era um hotel de 5 estrelas e o valor não se justifica ...

Beautiful holiday. Relaxing and very high standard. Staff very friendly and helpful. The food is just excellent. Breakfast 10 out of 10 and we had evening meal in the Belvadere restaurant upstairs. Italian and OMG so good. Would certainly highly recommend.

We have just come back from this beautiful place,excellent hotel ,staff are very friendly,large variety of food at breakfast and Sunday brunch.(didnt get the chance to eat in the evening)
Rooms are very clean and spacious that includes the toilet/ shower room
Outside pool and beds are excellent even though our weather was not the best on our stay.
Overall this hotel deserves its 5 stars i wouldn't have any problem recommending it to anybody.

My hubby and I love this hotel. Great staff excellent guest service, SPA with fantastic treatments, hydrotherapy pools jacuzzis massage, saunas , hot tubs , as well as garden. Gourmet dining, first class service, cosy chic Piano Bar Restaurants Terrasse with pool garden ocean amazing view. Excellent location direct in ocean, in just a few minutes walk to Cascais great Marina with shopping area and international guest , restaurants, pubs . Glorious in vibrant atmosphere. The breakfast buffet for every wishes . I spend a amazing time to business and much joy.

Amazing rooms with amazing views. Gym is terrible (not enough weighs or equipment and is only open 8am-8pm) and the rooms didn't have the heat working.

Hotel est très bien en soi et très agréable très calme ...il faut savoir que cet hôtel nest pas â Lisbonne, mais à Cascais. idéal pour voir une petite ville côtière qui se situe à 15 km de Lisbonne. il ya possibilité de se rendre à Lisbonne par train ou taxis.

Alles perfekt, wir ganen ein Upgrade in eine Suite erhalten.Grosse Auswahl beim Frühstück.Die Restaurants im Hotel servieren sehr gutes Essen. Auch Preis-Leistung stimmt.Einziger negativer Punkt: Man muss Eintritt zahlen um Hallenbad/Sauna zu benutzen.

Needs an update / facelift, urgently. Service was good, not great - not as warm and friendly as other properties in Portugal, but definitely functional. The biggest let down was the mattress, which felt like it was 30 years old. Very soft spring mattresses, they definitely need to be replaced.

Das Grande Reak Villa Italia gehört zu den wenigen Hotels, die ihre Gäste wirklich willkommen heißen und der Gast nicht nur als zahlender Kunde gesehen wird. Bereits beim Check-in geht es los: keine langen Formalitäten, stattdessen wird man beinahe sofort auf das Zimmer begleitet. Und....zwei Minuten später sind auch schon die Koffer da.Beim ersten Mal Frühstück geleitet einen die Hostess an einen Tisch im sehr schönen Restaurant und erklärt das sehr reichhaltige und frische Frühstücks-Buffet....und schon steht der Kaffee auf dem Tisch. Allgemein: ein sehr gepflegtes Hotel mit großzügigen Räumen und ausgewähltem Ambiente. Ein schöner Meerwasserpool mit ausreichend Liegen (und trotzdem reservieren sich einige Gäste ihre Liegen, was aber vom Poolpersonal auf sehr charmante Weise zumindest versucht wird zu unterbinden!) rundet das Erholen ab.Abends auf der Terrasse ein Dinner und Drink......man möchte nie mehr weg!Ein letztes Wort zum Personal: sehr sehr freundlich, aufmerksam aber nicht aufdringlich, und allesamt perfekte Gastgeber, was insbesondere natürlich für die beiden Hostessen Fillipa und Claudia gilt. Wie immer gilt:wie man in den Wald hineinruft, so schallt es heraus!Vielen Dank für beinahe zwei herrliche Wochen des Verwöhntwerden und Geniessen.

Book sea view room, not garden view as there's no real garden and patios get little sunshine. Breakfast is good and staff excellent. Bar expensive and lacking in atmosphere. Lovely bathrooms and well-equipped bedrooms.

What an awesome hotel! Everything was so stunningly beautiful! Very friendly and helpful staff from the check in to restaurant and pool area. Great views of the ocean and pool. The pool is beautiful and big. We got a room upgrade with ocean view!! Huge room with really nice bathroom and tub. Quick and easy walk to the shops and restaurants (about 10 min). Breakfast was included and it was amazing with so many options to choose from, mimosas and other drinks included. I don't regret have paid a little bit more to stay here because it made our last day in Portugal even more special.

The hotel was excellent with good food at reasonable prices.It took me 25 Minutes to reach the station but found a quicker and prettier way the second time.Taxis are very cheap (compared to France).My only disappointment with the hotel was the absence of a tray with coffee and tea which I like to make if Iwake up during the night.I used the spa twice and found it very goodI would be happy to return to the hotel but perhaps ask for a tea tray!

Superb location right across amazing views of the atlantic. The hotel staff is friendly enough and the grounds are well maintained for a somehow old building. Breakfast buffet has great choices with lovely fresh local breads and cheeses. The room was huge but a bit dated and worn carpet and furniture. Bathroom was beautiful and spacious with all sort toiletries. Is February, so pool was close and I didnt have time to use the Spa facilities but they look nice with a Roman sort of vibe. All in all was a pleasure expericence, perhaps next time get an ocean view room because the one facing the back buildings is definately not worthed.

Fui usar o voucher Spa + Brunch. O circuito de talassoterapia tem ótimas condições. Não estando hospedada, disponibilizaram roupão, chinelos, touca, toalhas... O brunch tem muita variedade, incluindo pratos feitos ao momento. Espero regressar!

"O melhor hotel de Portugal"
Desde a entrada aos quartos este hotel não existe um ponto que se possa dizer que podia ser melhor. A cama, os lençois, os sabonetes aos cremes e shampoo são ótimos!
O café da manhã para mim não tem melhor no mundo, incrível!
O restaurante e os pratos feitos com uma delicadeza e um sabor perfeito.
Já o Spa é algo inacreditável! é de não querer sair mais de lá.
Muito bem localizado e tudo ao alcance á pé!

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, der Service ist Perfekt, alle Mitarbeiter sind extrem freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstücksbuffet lässt ebenfalls keine Wünsche offen. Wir haben ein upgrade auf ein Zimmer mit Meerblick bekommen was uns sehr gefreut hat. Das Parken war kostenlos möglich. Schade ist dass der Spa Bereich mit Thalasso Pool und Sauna nur gegen Gebühr zu nutzen ist. In den beiden Restaurants La Terraza und Belvedere haben wir sehr gut gegessen. Die Hotelbar ist ebenfalls sehr zu empfehlen. Es gibt eine große separate Gin Karte.

Fuimos mi mujer y yo en navidad, y tengo que decir que en ningún sitio me han tratado mejor, nos sorprendió gratamente el personal del hotel, el sitio aún más, sus habitaciones, la ubicación, el spa, el bar para tomar un snack o una hamburguesa.

Ein wunderbares Hotel in einem schönen Ort! Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personale. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt, modern und perfekt ausgestattet. Eines der besten Hotels in denen ich abgestiegen bin. Ich würde dort sofort wieder ein paar Tag verbringen.
