A little, cosy restaurant. Try the fish soup (with cod and shrimps), which was excellent! They encourage food-sharing, which is indeed a nice option when you're 2 or more people.

The food here was really good, especially the tuna. It's a Tapas sharing kinda place. We loved our hostess. They'd actually tell you if you've ordered too much. And trust their recommendations here. Prices are fair for the quality of food that you get.

Stumbled in here on our first night in Lisbon and could not have had a better experience! We were seated right away and the staff was incredibly attentive and helpful. The food was delicious - especially the Shrimp "Ideal" and the salad on the appetizer menu, but really it was all good. Setting is cozy and homey, not too loud but still sat plenty people (so you know it's good). Don't hesitate to go if you're reading this.

La nourriture est plutôt bonne selon les plats, la déco est jolie, mais ce n'est pas un restaurant cosy: tables hautes et sièges sans dossiers, plats servis très rapidement, et lorsque nous nous sommes levés pour payer, la serveuse s'est jetée sur nous de peur que nous partions sans payer. L'ensemble n'était pas très agréable. Correct mais sans plus.

Came here on my first night in Lisbon, how lucky I was to stumble into this gem! It really set the tone for my whole trip. The waitresses were so lovely and the food incredible, very affordable as well! Highly recommended

Mir gefiel es hier leider nicht. Viel zu eng alles und das Konzept finde ich an sich gut. Man sollte dieses Essen zum Teilen dann aber auch für alle Gerichte anwenden. Mein "Burger" war wie ein normales Gericht für eine Person angerichtet, andere Gerichte wie z.B. das Steaksandwich war zum Teilen angerichtet. Die Portionsgrößen sind "medium", von einem Gericht wird man aber nicht satt. Wenn man satt werden will muss man pro Person schon 2 Gerichte bestellen und dann wird es ziemlich teuer. Irgendwie war dies nicht meins, geschmacklich leider auch nicht. Das ist wohl aber subjektiv.

Meine Meinung zu diesem Restaurant ist geteilt. Aufmachung ist gut. Interessante Ideen sind dort eingeflossen und auch die Speisen sind lecker, jedoch sind die Portionen,zumindest bei unseren Gerichten, absolut nicht ausreichend gewesen. Man bestellt zwei Gerichte für zwei Personen und wird davon nicht satt?! Man müsste ein drittes Gericht bestellen um satt zu werden? Finde ich komisch für ein Restaurant und habe ich nicht erlebt bisher. Und dann fast 13€ für ein Steaksandwich und nicht satt davon?! Geschmacklich top aber das wars auch schon. Schade!

Very nice little restaurant. Staff were friendly and helpful. I'd recommend the black pork stew which was delicious. We had the olives and bread which is bought to you on arrival then shared the pork (as I said - yummy!) and stuffed mushrooms with a bottle of red. This was enough for us and we paid 40€
I'd have given it 5* but my Portuguese partner thought it a bit expensive so he said 4*

Absolutely delicious. Don’t know how it is compared to the past (as some here were complaining about the loss of its magic) but the food is amazing. We had the tuna, baby squids and clams and we wished we would never finish and eat forever! The service is soo helpful and nice! Really great place!

Visitei recentemente, fazia anos que aqui não vinha.
No passado era excelente, entre as melhores das casas de petiscos em Lisboa.
Desta vez, infelizmente, uma ténue sombra do que fora.
Absolutamente banal.

Very cosy and affordable dishes. We had the bread and olives as a starter which was delicious. The quail is a good dish to try, and share. The sauce is a bit salty, but overall good.The tuna was average, nothing special.

Great little place with delicious typical Portuguese food and friendly staff. Try the seared tuna with sweet potatoes! Spent 12 days in Lisboa and this was our favorite restaurant.

Uma decepção e uma sombra do que já foi. Entrada de batata doce frita ensopada em óleo e queimada, beringela recheada péssima e um bacalhao à zé do pipo sofrível. Infelizmente é apenas mais uma armadilha para turistas. A evitar.

I love this restaurant. All the choices in the menu are really good! The sweet potato fries are fantastic and so is their dessert with cottage cheese and honey. But really all the food here is special and well prepared and the service is quite good. A gem of a place, really!

Ну тут 1 блюдо будет стоить от 10 евро, не дешево... и подали мне еду в разбитой тарелке, мясо было жёстким, места не проживать. Порции маленькие для своей цены((( к сожалению. Можно найти намного лучше и вкуснее за 10 евро в прогулках и местах подальше от туристических )))) а так кому не жалко 25 евро потратить уэлкал))

Fantastic food. Their tuna was so good that I ordered it twice as a dessert, then we came back two days later and ordered the exact same thing. Great service, English speaking staff, and also a great wine menu.

Just ok, nothing wowed us. Decent food, but I felt prices were a little high by Lisbon standards. Staff was friendly, but we had made a reservation and they seemed quite confused. Not sure what that was about, but eventually they got it together.

Très très bon restaurant, le ragoût de porc à la confiture de poivron, une tuerie. Service très convivial, juste un petit pemol l'endroit un peu bruyant. Mais l'endroit est à découvrir sans souci.

Essen war lecker, würzig, große, üppige Portionen. Bedienung war zügig und freundlich. Ohne Reservierung bekamen wir für 2 Personen einen Platz.
Wer Nähe zu fremden Personen nicht mag ist hier allerdings falsch. Es gibt quasi nur zwei lange Tafeln die man sich mit den anderen Gästen teilt aber gerade das macht in Kombination mit dem guten Essen eine besondere Atmosphäre.

Nice setting and warm welcome but the food was disappointing. Most of the dishes were rather heavy and the interpretation of the "tapas" format stretches the concept a bit.

Scoperto per caso durante vacanza a lisbona. Qualità ottima e cucina più ricercata rispetto ai tipici ristoranti portoghesi. Piatti da condividere, ottimo polipo e tonno. Locale carino e curato. Da provare! Prezzi ovviamente più alti della media ma giusti, in linea con i locali turistici.

An sich ist dieses Restaurant von der Idee her gut. Es gibt verschiedene Gerichte, die man sich jeweils teilt. So kann man viele verschiedene Dinge probieren. An einem Donnerstag Abend haben wir hier problemlos ohne Reservierung einen Platz gekriegt, was in den umliegenden Restaurants eher unmöglich ist.
Als wir da waren, kamen jedoch einige Punkte zusammen, weswegen wir hier nicht fünf Sterne geben können:
- Wir mussten auf eins unserer drei Gerichte über eine Dreiviertelstunde warten, obwohl der Laden nicht annähernd voll war. Die ersten beiden Gerichte kamen je nach 5min.
- Die Speisen selbst waren nicht perfekt. Oft fehlte einfach Salz oder allgemein etwas Geschmack. Sicher war alles gut und man konnte es gut essen, aber es wäre deutlich mehr möglich gewesen.
Man hatte so selbst im quasi leeren Laden das Gefühl, dass das Team etwas überfordert ist.

Found this little restaurant on maps.. at first sight it looks small but cozy. It works a little bit different from a normal restaurant. There are several tapas to choose. High prices and dishes aren't big enough to get full. We payed 50€ for 3 tapas and 1 l of sangria and we were still hungry. The idea is nice, personally I would lower the prices or increase the amount of food. Better call before to reserve a table

Fantastic food (we tried several ones from vegetables over meat to fish), simple nice place, very friendly waiter. Unfortunately while enjoying the dinner there was a dispute between the waiter and his female colleague in front of the customers - very unpleasant. The woman did not stop expressing her great deal of anger that in our opinion was unprofessionall while the guy tried to defuse the uncomfortable situation smiling.

We had a very nice time with friends at Petiscaria Ideal. Very fresh and nice portuguese cuisine, reviewed in a modern way but very accessible. Everything was fresh and good.

Delicious food with really friendly service. We ate the octopus with sweet potato, polenta and seafood chowder, and the steak sandwich. All were superb, and perfectly portioned - probably the best meal I've had in Portugal so far.

This place was recommended to us by our B&B and we are really glad it was!
It is only a small place, a little of the beaten track, but we'll worth tracking down. There are only a few individual tables, mainly long tables were you could be sat next to a stranger; however this adds to the experience!
More importantly, the food is absolutely amazing! They serve Portuguese tapas, petiscos. The portions here seem to be larger than in other places, however the quality is definitely not sacrificed. We had 5 meat and fish dishes between 2, which were more than enough and each one was superb!
The service was excellent as was the price. We would highly recommend this place.

Não gostamos decidamente! se calhar tivemos azar, o hambúrguer de porco preto estava incomestivel, e caro de uma forma geral(preço /qualidade). Perderam dois clientes porque não souberam remediar o erro. Espaço engraçado.

This is a great place, where they give you a various choice of fresh food. We tried Octopus, salads and a nice dessert selection. You taste some tradition in there. It's a very lively experience, with the cosy long tables where you will sit next to locals and the guys in the service, who'll understand there job! I absolutely recomand this place, and we will be back to try out there other specialities.
