My wife had the risotto and insisted that due it's magnificence she would possibly never accept another risotto again and has declared the search to now be ended.

We only went to the restaurant as we were given misleading information on which restaurants were open on a Sunday evening in the area that we were staying. However, the outdoor patio was very pleasant, if unexpected, it's a long way down under the hotel. The place lacked atmosphere as it was empty, but the food was delicious and the young waitress was a delight. She was friendly, funny, and very apologetic when the food took a little longer than expected.

How does this place not have more great reviews?? I picked it after doing a little research and it came up as a place with a nice outdoor patio, good food, good service and live music. What else can one ask for? Well this restaurant exceeded expectations on all levels! The outdoor patio is lovely, dining al fresco under trees, the food and the wine were good, our waiter Miguel was super professional and knowledgeable, and the gem of the evening was the live band inside the bar! When done with dinner, we took our drinks and migrated inside to listen to some great music. This evening was just lovely.

Really great service. We were celebrating our anniversary and it was an amazing romantic place to do so. There was live music and the food was authentic and homely. Thank you for looking after us - we had a great night!

My wife and I were hoping to get into another nearby restaurant but realized they didn't have any availability until ten pm so we decided to try out Sitio Valverde. It is a restaurant connected to hotel Valverde. And boy were we glad we did. Mario and Luis did a phenomenal job in answering questions about the menu, giving us details about the hotel, and frankly just being great hosts. And even if they hadn't done any of that, the food was magnificent. I would go back just to try out more items but I would definitely go to see simply how Mario and Luis are doing. As an aside, the hotel looks very nice. They are expanding it but it seems that is a must visit hotel in Lisbon.

Absolutely fantastic meal. This place is excellent food with great service. Other local ‘top reviewed’ places do not compare. When we went tonight there was plenty of tables free - yet around corner in other toad you can wait for hours to get a table. This is exceptional food. Please do not miss.

Nice hotel and outside eating area was secluded and quiet. Ordered duck tagliatelli which was very nice. Staff very helpful and attentive. Overall a lovely evening out

Service incroyable, efficacité et gentillesse, plats onctueux, décoration et patio délicieux, prix doux, tout pousse à venir et j’ajouterai une mention spéciale pour les desserts du niveau des grandes maisons française. Venir un soir de Fado donne une dimension plus intime, la voix des chanteurs et la musique des guitaristes portent à merveille. Bravo à l’équipe de la réception, au service et au Chef bien sûr

A very lovely corner in the city. We sat in the garden for lunch and it was great. Foods were delicious and staff were very friendly. The next door building happened to be renovating so it was a bit noisy in the garden. But it doesn’t stop us from wanting to come back. PS. Duck confit salad was the highlight of our meal. Must try!!

Éramos 7 pessoas buscando um restaurante para um domingo à noite... Em cima da hora e sem reserva, só conseguimos lugar no Valverde. Imagino, no entanto, que outros dias e horários não deva ser fácil conseguir lugar, pois a comida e o atendimento foram realmente surpreendentes. Nos sentimos convidados VIP com tratamento 5 estrelas! Minha mãe é vegetariana e o chefe foi extremamente atencioso dando-lhe opções que nem se quer estavam no menu da noite. Os demais pediram o menu sugerido pelo chefe (32€ com couvert, entrada, principal, sobremesa e chá/café) e do couvert em diante foram só supresas boas. O POLVO estava tão macio e quase derretendo na boca como nunca comemos em nenhum outro lugar!!! Saímos de lá mais do que satisfeitos. Super recomendadamos!!!
