Very unfriendly service: when we arrived there, they were ignoring us for a long time and when we finally ordered, our meals did not come at the same time. Sadly, we did not get all the things we ordered and were still hungry when we left. People who entered after us, were also served sooner, which felt unfair...

I felt cozy there and the food was nicely cooked and served. The waiter was obviously doing his best, so everyone felt welcomed. Good coffee! I enjoyed

Some of the best pancakes I’ve ever eaten so far! We tried a lot of places in Europe and so many cafés sell flat, super small or oversweetened ones. At Break, they were unbelievably fluffy and had the perfect sweetness (which means not being too sweet). Besides, the presentation was very beautiful (see picture). Between the layers some yoghurt was added which I found quite smart since you did not have a topping only on top
I am used to pay around 8-9 euros for pancakes which don’t even have a good taste or consistency and here you get amazing(!) pancakes for half this price.

War hier zum Frühstücken und es hat mir sehr gefallen! Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und überaus freundlich. Der Kaffee/Espresso hat mir gut geschmeckt. Die Karte bietet für jeden Geschmack etwas und ist preislich fair. Obacht beim Toast mit Marmelade: auch wenn der Preis es nicht erahnen lässt - das reicht als Frühstück für die meisten. Sehr üppige Portion :)

Do not expect to come as a couple and eat together, unless eating the same thing then you might get lucky.
It's a cute restaurant with a very small quantity of staff, and with this size means it can get very warm inside.
The Eggs Benedict did not come with ham, so it's really just poached eggs with hollandaise sauce.
The fresh 'pineapple lemon ginger mint juice' was mostly water with a very weak flavour, and my wife had finished her meal 10 minutes before my meal even arrived.
Our environmental souls enjoyed the metal straws being served with the drinks, a nice change from plastic straws!
The Nutella pancakes were delicious and well presented even if they took a much longer time.

這是一家舒適的早午餐店，地點位於上城區中，不過由於不是在熱鬧的觀光區域，所以需要走一陣子，但也因此擁有安靜的用餐環境。老闆娘十分親切熱心，會為顧客說明餐點內容。
這裡的餐點以早午餐為主，每一道菜都是融合以不同的地方的特色來命名，像是利物浦套餐就是經典英式早午餐、奧斯陸則以鮭魚為主要食材，可以看出店家的用心。15 歐元的套餐中，可以選擇一份主要的麵包當作主食，另外還有沙拉、現榨果汁、咖啡、鬆餅等多樣配餐，整體而言非常划算。

Right from the start you get the feeling of not being welcome. The lady behind the counter is really unfriendly and rude. We sat down and waited for 10-15 minutes to be served but she never came to our table taking our order or letting us know that it might take a while. We simply got up, left and enjoyed our breakfast at The Mill.

I went for brunch hoping to catch a quick meal before going to the aquarium. Little did I know what I was in for. The environment is cute and all, but the lady at the front was rude to me and my boyfriend. It was clear that she does not appreciate her guests. I went up to order and she told me I had to sit and wait. The food took almost an hour to be ready. Granted, there’s only one lady in the kitchen cooking, but still it is not that hard to cook two scrambled eggs and there are only 5 tables in the whole place. The eggs were bland, but the sausage, mushrooms, and bacon were good. My orange juice and latte also took a long time. I asked for a hot tea to go and she forgot and gave me it when I left with almost half the cup empty.

Really great place if you like waiting 1.5 hours for orange juice and runny scrambled eggs. They use metal straws for their hot lattes, so if you enjoy burning your mouth with metal while trying to drink a latte, this is the place for you. Also highly recommended for people who like servers who hate life and want to kill you while you order food. Just a great place all around.

Very nice spot to have a good brunch or lunch in the city. They serve their food beautifully and it tastes good. Their menu is also really good prepared. I give it 4 out 5 stars because I think there are brunch places in Lisbon with even better breakfast still. But overall = really, really good

Man I really wanted to like this place, but it was so so unfriendly. The women behind the counter made me feel like it was a huge burden to make my coffee and breakfast.
It felt like they wanted me to leave from the moment I walked in. After a while it felt downright hostile.
I was hoping the food would make up for it, but the coffee was not good, and the breakfast was bland and soggy
On a street shared with places like The Mill, Dear Breakfast, Boa Vida, and Hello Kristoff - it’s just not up to par.
Other weird stuff like having plastic cakes on display instead of real ones you actually eat just made it feel like they don’t quite get it.

I had a lovely experience having a brunch at this place. First of all, the brunch menu is €15 with hot drink, fresh juice, pancakes and toast all included, which I think it’s a really good price for everything you get with it. The toast was good, with really good bread, and perfectly two poached eggs. But the highlight are the pancakes, which were light and fluffy. I picked caramel and nuts as a topping, but they had other options. I was so happy to find this place, specially on a Saturday morning when all the other places around are so full and with huge queues, so if you find yourself in the same situation, don’t hesitate to come visit this café!

The food is so slow, we wait for an hour and there is still no food. They constantly messed up our order. Eventually they gave us the wrong food and it tasted bad. It's a family business, I almost feel pity to criticize them. But it is what it is. AVOID this place. Wasted my time. Never ever come here.

We went here for brunch and both of us had delicious breakfast of eggs Benedict with extras of goats cheese and very crispy bacon as well as scrambled egg with mushrooms. Scrambled eggs were beautifully cooked and mushrooms were extremely tasty. Good coffee too and nice staff.

Really good food. We took english breakfast and were really happy from the choice. The quality seems very high. The service is amazing - the waiter is a super nice person. Prices are quite high but hey it is a center of a capital city, so I think it’s fair but be prepared to spend over 10 euro for a breakfast.

It was our last day in Lisbon so no time to waste. Our TWO pancakes arrived before the coffees, after about 20 minutes from ordering. Then, we got a small piece of bread with ONE “poached” egg (read. hard boiled) and some salad. Very polite service, really welcoming, but unfortunately for us, it ended there. Two toasts, pancakes to share and two coffees = €25.50.

Lovely place, friendly staff, but the breakfast??? We went for English - two fried eggs, some very fatty bacon, mushrooms, beans and a small sausage, plus toast. Everything, I mean everything, was cooked with garlic!! Bacon slathered in garlic pieces just couldn't be tasted. I can still taste the garlic 10 hours later - terrible.

Todo lo que pedimos estaba buenísimo y fueron muy rápidos al traerlo. Recomiendo pedir el menú brunch porque te hinchas a comer y te sale un poco menos caro (el sitio es carillo, pero para ir un día está muy bien).

Un sitio pequeñito pero grande en sabores!... Está muy bien decorado....Muy rico el pancake de dulce de huevo! Y los Smothies buenísimos... Son muy amables y simpáticos!!!

Disappointing service and food. Ordered a granola yoghurt bowl, came looking like this. Barely any granola. I asked for a little extea granola and 20 minutes later, nothing arrived even though I asked three times. Would not recommend.

Auf dem ersten Blick schien das Lokal die richtige Wahl für ein gutes Frühstück zu sein, da es auch optisch sehr ansprechend war.
Jedoch stimmt das Preis-/ Leistungsverhältnis überhaupt nicht.
Wir hatten zum Beispiel das Marsella Menü, welches mit nur einem unfertigen porchiertem Ei, einem Salat ohne Dressing und 6 abgezählten Kichererbsen serviert wurde.
Die eggs Benedict sind lediglich porchierte Eier mit einer Sauce Hollandaise ohne den dazugehörigen Schinken.
Zudem wartet man hier definitiv zu lange. Sowohl auf die Bestellaufgabe und vor allem die Zubereitung des Essens (45 Minuten).
Hier gibt es in unmittelbarer Nähe weitaus bessere Lokale.

Went there for breakfast. Very nice little cafe with lovely staff and a creative menu. Lots of people arriving all the time. The boss does a masterpiece in juggling this. I changed my place in order to accommodate a table for 5 and got a mimosa free of charge for it. Very attentive. I recommend warmly!

We were five and came for breakfast. Situated right in the middle, between The Mill and Dear Breakfast. An excellent alternative with very healthy and excellently presented breakfast.

Staff was happy to serve someone who can speak Portuguese (my fiancée) and we received our order very quickly. Was getting packed soon after we arrived. Food and coffee tasted great.

Cosy, friendly staff, well priced, good service and decent food. Ate here once and had a simple breakfast of bacon, avo, toast, egg and a couple of coffees. Well worth a quick breakfast.
