Best restaurant I've ever been to !
Everything we tried was absolutely delicious, service was great. Not very cheap, but it's definitely worth every Euro! You should reserve a table before you go there. When you're in Lisbon at the moment - have dinner at Rua!!!

Inventive and modern international cuisine in a "disco" décor. Friendly staff. I especially recommend the duck, the mackerel and for dessert the coconut ice cream with passion fruit and basil.

We spent four nights recently in Lisbon and after eating in Rua we decided to go back again for our last night. Two nights out of four! We loved the food, it was really delicious. Everything we ordered was amazing and the staff were so friendly and helpful as well. I would have no hesitation in recommending it ....and I'm fussy! It was also very reasonably priced for what we got.

One of the best restaurants I have tried in Lisbon. We ordered the curry chicken (my favourite take of a curry chicken so far) and 2 scrumptious prawn and cevicehe tacos with hard shells. We ended the night with a caramel custard dessert with ya grin sorbet and cookie crumble. Perfect end to a perfect dinner. The only thing I would add is that they should serve bread with the food (because I wanted to take all that sauce on the plate left from the cevicehe)
One of my favorite restaurants to date.

Restaurante oriental con una carta reducida pero perfecta. Pedimos cuatro platos y los cuatro buenísimos: espárragos en tempura, yakitori de pollo, bao de pato y curry verde. Platos muy bien preparados y presentados.

Embora pequeno, o espaço é acolhedor e fica-se um pouco próximo das mesas vizinhas. A comida é boa, de realçar a barriga de porco (leitão?) que é deliciosa e gulosa. O conceito é compartir, portanto não espere grandes doses, terá mesmo que pedir vários pratos se for bom garfo. A sobremesa era saborosa e visualmente muito agradável. O único senão do espaço são mesmo as porções e o vinho que foi milimetricamente servido, que a meu ver foram semíticos. E por justiça, o staff foi impecável e simpáticos.

Die schicke Aufmachung des Restaurants erweckt Erwartungen an Essen mit einem besonderen Touch. Grundsätzlich ist der Ansatz gut nur fanden wir das Essen sehr enttäuschend und zudem überteuert - kleine Portionen. Ausser das Chicken Green Curry (EUR 18) war alles ziemlich fad bzw. fehlte der Wow-Effekt. Spargeltempura, sprich panierte Spargel, mit einer einfachen Tartarsauce für EUR 8. Falafel mit einer Süßsauersauce ebenfalls EUR 8. Sepiagericht (eher trocken und hart) mit wachsweichem Ei und Süßsauersauce EUR 12. Alles nichts besonderes.
Auch fanden wir die Cocktails schön in der Präsentation geschmacklich jedoch mittelmässig.
Eventuell spricht die Tatsache, dass wir an einem Mittwochabend alleine im Restaurant saßen, während die umliegenden Lokal gut frequentiert waren, für sich.

Excellent. The pork belly is really.a star dish. The octopus, cuttlefish and veggie dishes were great too. The raspberry chocolate dessert was unique as were the cocktails. All around nice experience. We will bring more of our visitors to lisbon here to eat and drink well!

Excelent food for sharing. Choose from an eclectic list composed by duck baos, tender octopus, chicken green curry, pork belly and lots of other finger food perfectly cooked and presented in a very tasteful way. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails are a must, specially the litchi ones. Mostly recommend to leave some space for the degustation of one of the three wonderful deserts. The prices are affordable and the staff is very efficient and friendly.

Hands-down our favorite non-traditional meal while in Lisbon! Reservations recommended for this stylish fusion tapas restaurant, but we came on the early side of dinner and made it in without one. The two of us shared four dishes and one dessert. Every dish was creative, delicious, and beautiful. Flavor standouts were the ceviche, fried cuttlefish (to our surprise), the coconut ice cream dessert, and the cocktails (unfortunately don't remember the names). Hats off to the entire team- the server made great recommendations, the bartender made some of the best drinks we’ve had, and of course we wish we could have tried the entire menu (it’s small but full of flavor!). We found out afterwards that apparently the chef won the second edition of Masterchef in Portugal. Best part is the amazing value- we spent around 75€ for 5 dishes and 3 drinks. For top flavor and service, it’s a steal, and we regret not coming back for our last night. Honestly it was one of the best meals we’ve had, and this will be our first stop when we’re back in Lisbon.

Incredible tastes at this little gem in Principe Real. Great cocktails (recommend Smoke It and Jungle Fever) and beautiful combinations of cold and hot. A shout out to the Pork Belly and Massaman. Absolutely delicious!

Pedimos 4 platos para compartir y ninguno nos pareció nada especial lo siento pero me esperaba algo más elaborado. Uno de los platos eran unos espárragos y lo único que comías era rebozado de tempura. No puedo entender que tenga tan buena puntuación.

Fusion food very well executed :) I had the pork belly and the vegetarian green curry, both really nice. I can’t say the same for the cocktails there are a little bit to much. Don’t take me wrong they are ok and drinkable but I little bit forced. Good service :)

RUA is a fun restaurant. It easily wins best service in Lisbon with very polite, efficient and friendly staff., Ricardo was great. The atmosphere is casual with trendy neon lights and comfortable seating.
Tapas menu with plenty of options that I wanted to try. The food was prepared nicely, I think my error was ordering two fried dishes (asparagus & fish) so I felt heavy mid-way through the meal.
The seafood tacos and chicken wings are a delight and I would love to have tried the Keftas and Falafel next time.
I will say though that the asparagus were very well done as the tempura was light.

Incrível. O pessoal é muito simpático e atencioso, o chef é um artista que conjuga vários sabores distintos para realçar cada alimento presente no prato. Recomendo e voltarei sempre que possível. De salientar, a variedade na escolha vegetariana e os cocktail são ótimos!

It’s easy to give 5 stars to this great little restaurant that offers good ambiance, great service and excellent food. Reservation is definitely recommended, but they were able to accommodate us without one. Cocktails came out frothy and tasty, dishes were flavourful with excellent presentation and balance. Great recommendations made by the waiter. We will definitively be back.

Love this place! Everything was delicious especially the tacos and angry fried chicken. Beautifully presented and well executed. One of the best modern tapas place that have successfully interpreted and reinvented traditional dishes without being pretentious. The coco-nuts and white chocolate desserts are highly recommended too! Service is very friendly and the chef came to our table twice to check if everything was going well. Only thing I would like improved is probably the lighting which I find too harsh and bright. Otherwise looking forward to revisit already !

Superbe expérience! Le personnel est très gentil. Les plats sont parfaitement executés. J’ai trouvé les prix tout à fait corrects pour la qualité. Je recommande aussi les cocktails :)

RUA has brought life to Lisbon again! All the exotic flavors, the art on the wall, the diversified sound track, the friendly staff and the amazing cocktails, just made this comfy restaurant one of my favs in Lisbon! I recommend the Taco time, Angry Fried Chicken, Carrots, Green Curry and please, do save space for these deserts, they’re a must - Are the Coco Nuts and the Raspberries!
To drink, the JinZoo has stolen my heart, but the Orange Spice and the Just in Thyme are great too!!
Keep up the good the work guys, cause we’re loving it! :)
