Family run small restaurant tucked out of the way but well worth the search. The fish is all fresh and superbly cooked. A little gem . We had sea bass & sea bream & cod. All superbly cooked and totally delicious. The starters again were super and the cheese board well selected and presented. Cannot fault anything here. So friendly.

The could be local or from anywhere around the world. Relax, enjoy, take your time. Most likely, the chef will serve your entree. He is passionate about what he is doing and greeted us with excellent English. You will enjoy your meal. Have desert and an excellent glass of port to finish. Charming place. We discovered Restaurante Qualquer Hora by accident, and it was very pleasant surprise . The food was very fresh and absolutely delicious, and the service was a pleasure. If you’re seeking an authentic, off the beaten path dining option, this is the restaurant you’re looking for.

Amazing restaurant, and i definitely had my best dinning experience in Portugal here. It is a one man run restaurant, the chef works all on his own, so you may have to wait a bit for food. However, the food totally worth the wait! Chef is very passionate about food (I can tell his passion from dishes!). What i would recommend to eat? everything! I had 6000 years sausage (=P the dipping sauce was amazing), deep fried octopus cousin (i can't remember the proper name for the fish but just remembered that it is octopus cousin. I am sure the chef will get it), My friend had grilled fish-amazing. Strongly recommend his desserts. Best ice cream and best fried banana! Last but not the least, Chef also has good wine tastes so ask for his drink recommendation!!! Overall, i would definitely recommend this restaurant, and i will definitely come back again to try other dishes. Good job!!

Man sitzt mit anderen an den Tischen, da das Lokal sehr klein ist, wird jeder cm Platz ausgenutzt. So lernt man automatisch andere Gäste kennen.

Acabei por ir duas vezes e foram sempre amáveis, acolhedores, tiveram o cuidado de reservar a esplanada exterior para o grupo poder fumar e apaixonámo-nos pela matriarca da família, uma senhora muito simpática que nos fez sentir em casa. Tábuas de queijo, croquetes, enchidos, pastéis de bacalhau, vinho, tudo da melhor qualidade para petiscar entre amigos. Altamente recomendado e num lugar tranquilo, fora do bulício da Baixa lisboeta. ENGLISH: I've returned to Lisbon last May after three years living in Mexico and I was so fortunate to find this little gem right outside our Airbnb. Run by a Portuguese family, a son, a mother and a father, their traditional Portuguese finger food (or petiscos) and the quality of their products is top notch. I'm Portuguese and I recognize quality miles away. We fell in love with the family's Matriarch who made us feel at home. The cheeses, the croquettes, pastéis de bacalhau, everything was perfect, high quality food and service for a night out sharing small dishes with friends. Highly recommended and at a very quiet neighborhood, outside the crowded Lisbon's downtown.

TRATO PÉSIMO. Fuimos a cenar y al día siguiente ibamos repetir. Llevábamos un perro y pedimos sentarnos en la terraza pero para nuestra sorpresa, a pesar de haber ido el día anterior, nos dijeron que no que la camarera tenía frio para salir y que no eran horas (20.30h de la noche de un sábado).

Отличный семейный ресторанчик. Открывается только вечером. Рассчитан на не большое количество людей. Около 20. Места не много, порой сложно развернуться, но очень вкусно. Столик нужно бронировать заранее или приходить к самому открытию, иначе прийдется ждать, пока кто-то не закончит свой приём пиши. Взрослая семейная пара готовит закуски и подаёт блюда на стол, сын - он же повар, отлично справляется на кухне со всеми заказами. А его жена отвечает за бар.

More than 3 but definitely not 4. I had this restaurant on my mind for 3 days and watched it from outside. My instinct pointed differently but good reviews led me to believe it would be a small but traditional and homey place. Also wine is a very important barometer for me indicating the culinary seriousness of the restaurant. Some reviewers mentioned this one has a good wine list - which swayed me enough to override my instinct / observation. It is a family run restaurant and I hope so much the business goes well. However, all businesses are an interaction between service providers and customers. I feel bad leaving a not good review but I simultaneously feel obligated to share with other potential diners. I dined solo but had 4 dishes. Cod croquet (cake) and sweet potato croquet were good (the price is for one croquet) but I am not sure if the price could justify the minimalistic single croquet. I was sadly disappointed with the main dish - grilled sea bream - and the wine list. The restaurant has a very mediocre wine list and if you are not drinking a bottle, your option is extremely limited (this is in Lisbon, Portugal, where so many good and affordable wines are abundant). As for the grilled fish, I hope the restaurant finds a way to improve significantly. I am not sure if such dish of overcooked broccoli heads and grilled potatoes with olive oil smeared fish is a staple to Portuguese. And I attest that I love olive oil. But this one I just had to force me to eat. Patrons seemed to be mostly non-Portugueses. (Certainly that was the case when I ate). The owner is friendly and speaks fluent English and the restaurant seems to evolve around foreigners. The price is also geared toward foreigners. It was quite expensive (for the quality of the food and the restaurant in my opinion). I am not simply advocating for low price. Maybe I was more disappointed because I had a different expectation based on some quite study on this place. Also it was my last dinner in Portugal (at least for this year) so I wanted to have a traditional and good experience. If you just stroll around the area and want to eat a simple food, this place would nicely suit your need. If you want some good culinary experience and have to travel to here, I’d suggest you search up first other options nearby you stay.

Charming family run little restaurant. I think the man who took our order was also the cook. He was fluent in English, helpful and friendly. I had the braised seabass which was very nice. We were the last ones to leave and the owners didn't put any preassure on us. I had a great time and I would happily recommend this place.

Excellent grilled fish, cod cakes and orange cake. People were very nice, size was very quaint. Really enjoyed the food and atmosphere.

Plutôt un restaurant pour touristes... Une carte très sommaire avec 2 poissons et 2 viandes + un assez bon choix de tapas et cheese cake en dessert. Très petite surface : on a l'impression de gêner à chaque passage de la serveuse. Côté tarif, bien plus cher que la moyenne pour la prestation proposée. Tarif des boissons est très bon mais 2,50 euros pour 1,5 petit pain c'est ultra cher. Je n'y retournerai certainement pas.

Went here on a whim at the last minute. The father and mother/son trio could not have been nicer and more helpful with the menu. The food was somehow even better than the service, with delicious chorizo and octopus and sea bass. Would absolutely return.

Dopo 4 giorni, stanchi per andare in giro ci siamo imbattuti in questo "ristorante" spinti dalle recensioni. Bocciato a pieni voti, vino bianco veramente di scarsa qualità, trovato a 5,90 su internet. I piatti? A parte il bacalahau a polpetta, due pezzettini di pane croccante, ciotolina con pomodori pachino di scarsa fattura anche loro, ed una salsiccia, avevamo chiesto se ci faceva lui dei piatti tipici, ma non credo che due pomodorini in ciotola siano tipici. Abbiamo praticamente saltato la cena, riuscendo a sfamarci dopo in un bar. Ma poi pesce e carne insieme nooooo, forse sarà usanza di qui, ma una salsiccia dal gusto forte ammazza il baccalà delicato.... No no no.

Andei 20 minutos para conhecer esse restaurante, e eles estavam fechados às 13 horas de uma terça feira (a página deles diz que abre das 12h as 15h). A equipe toda dentro, mas fechado para os clientes. Voltei às 14h e ainda estava fechado.

A very lovely small restaurant. We counted 22 seats for customers. The family who seems to run the place is very friendly. The food was good and made with love. The price-performance-ratio was very good.

This is a fantastic restaurant to go. It is not a Michelin star restaurant but the food is just very good, the service is an experience especially if you don't speak Portuguese, the waitress serves in an unequalled way. It is a family restaurant with a couple and their son. You sit very close together, next to your neighbours, but it was just that what is part of the charm. I am used to high standard restaurants, but this was just another extraordinary experience. Relax, enjoy the ambiance and the food. I recommend the bruschetta as a starter.

Workers are rude, disrespectful. I have never seen anyone in restaurant industry act like this with customers. The food might be good but the place is badly run. Will never go there again. We walked in, it was busy, the waiter/chef yelled at us for asking him if we can sit outside. He actually made a scene in front of everyone. Even if you serve good food, you cannot have meltdowns at guests.

Fabulous little family run restaurant. The chef, his mum and sister are very friendly and a delight. Fish is served as bought from the market that day and cooked excellently. As no fish markets are open on Monday the restaurant is therefore closed on Mondays. Dishes can be plentiful. The restaurant is really good value for money.

Primera noche en Lisboa, restaurante ideal. Cenamos de tapeo. La camarera, una señora mayor, era amabilísima, estuve practicando con ella mi escaso portugués y nos entendimos bien. Las croquetas y buñuelos de bacalao, bastante buenos. El crumblé de tomate, simplemente genial, bastante espaciado. La ensalada de cuscus, hay que probarla, con un toque dulce con los higos secos y una combinación perfecta de especias. Recomendable totalmente. El precio, bastante ajustado, menos de 35€ para dos personas con café y cervezas.

Super bem localizado para quem quer continuar a noite após o jantar. Fantástico para um jantar tardio. A comida é fantástica e bem típica como se quer de uma petisqueira. 5 estrelas bem merecidas.

Went there on our first evening in Lissabon and it couldn't have been better. Family business by a young cook and his parents. The food was amazing and great price - quality value. The Service was especially nice, got some recommendations by the cook who speaks English, we felt welcome from the first minute. Since it's very small be there in time to get a table. If you do, you will have a perfect evening.
