Waren hier zweimal zum Frühstück. Sehr lecker und die Preise gehen in Ordnung. Der Betrieb wirkt familiär geführt. Der Service und die Qualität leidet aber ganz und garnicht darunter. Man wird super freundlich bedient. Das Lokal ist klein und strahlt eine gemütliche helle Atmosphäre aus. Man hat immer einen freien Blick auf die Zubereitung der Speisen.

A slightly hidden spot, with a beautiful exposed rock & brick interior, very friendly staff and great fare. Still pretty undiscovered, so you can easily get a table even on weekends. Recommend for brunch!

We love Mimo. The food is good, the staff friendly and the space minimalist and welcoming. We go for lunch and sometimes breakfast on Saturday. They are close for dinner. They have different main dishes and cakes every day, but these are some of the must try that are always on the menu: the Bacalhau à Brás (so yummy), the rabbit and white beans salad and the Tarte Alsaciana (my favorite is with burrata e bacon). Buon appetito!

This lovely little place opened just 2 months ago. You will not find it in the evening because it’s closed and there is no sign yet on the outside. They have different breakfast / brunch menus with yoghurt - pancakes - homemade cake - espresso - homemade juice of the day. But you can also pick single items. Everything is made here including the bread that we took in a basket . Very friendly service and So serviceminded ! A small suggestion although ! One or two more menus with customers choice of coffee (and not only espresso) and bread basket / cheese / jam should make this place even a little better !

I was just walking down the street and decided to take a turn to the right and right in front of me was mimo. Like anyone who doesn't know where to eat in a city and doing my best to avoid the tourist traps this hearty restaurant was so good. I had the bacalhau bras and was looking to find a restaurant to sample this Portugese delicacy. I am so happy I turned right you won't be disappointed, from the warm and friendly service and delicious food this is a real gem in Alfama.

I had such a great experience at Mimo de Alfama! Here I found delicious comfort food and a simple and lovely decoration, the full experience took me back on time and made me feel at home! I loved everything, the fresh juice of the day, the Tarte Alsaciana and the banoffee.... real honest food with a very good service!

Had lunch here today and the food and service were both amazing. Do yourself a favour and go find this place for some delicious authentic Portuguese food.

We were trying to find the perfect place out of the sun for a big brunch, when we stumbled across this little gem! The ambiance is delightful, very carefully and minimally decorated with thoughtful bits throughout. I even loved the little wash area near the bathroom, with neatly folded hand towels. The waitress is fluent in English which helped her explain the beautiful traditional dishes with a modern twist that we ended up choosing. She spent time to explain their brunch menu thoroughly, many thanks to her! I loved the caldo de farrinha, the rabbit and the pumpkin pancakes were divine. This place smacks of love and care from the decor to the waiting staff and most certainly the chefs. Really haven't had a quality meal like that in a while.

Amazing food! Top service made of love, care and precision. We had a tasty cheap brunch surrounded by a lovely decor. Plus we loved the reusable towels instead of throwaway paper and plastics... Highly recommend

Great new restaurant in Alfama for a brunch, lunch or snack. Loved the natural juice, the fresh and tasty soup and the dish of the day (couscous with vegetables). The cake of the day was wonderful. Price quality is one of the best. Alfama is a touristic neighbourhood (full of fado and typical restaurants)....so after a while visiting fado restaurants this place is the oasis on the desert... :)
