It's not your typical hotel or apartment complex, but it's a really nice, traditional Portuguese experience. It's stripped down and simple, with the main USP the fabulous view and proximity to the beach. The staff are really nice and the pool is too. I enjoyed the stay a lot.

Mobiliario un poco anticuado. Hacía frío en el apartamento y el agua de la ducha salía casi fría.

La luz exterior la encienden muy tarde, y al anochecer tienes que andar con linterna, MUY caro para lo que ofrecen, todo viejo en el apartamento, las camas insufribles. Mi consejo: cualquier sitio es mejor. He de admitir, eso sí, que el trato del personal ha sido muy bueno, lamentablemente lo único reseñable.

Vista agradável , piscina fantástica. Perde por os hóspedes não terem acesso nos quartos wi-fi.

The apartment style rooms are spacious and clean and the service is good. The restaurant food is very good and reasonably priced. There is a kitchenette with a stove top, microwave, mini fridge and nice cutlery. There is a nice seating area outside of your room. There is no wifi in the room but you can walk over to the game room and use it there, but we were able to connect using our own hotspot from our cell phone. It is a great place for couples or a family who wants to relax by the ocean.The location is off the main road and is in walking distance of the Colares beach.In October the ocean water is very cold and we saw many surfers enjoying the waves. Stunning view of the ocean and the cliffs. I definitely recommend having a rental car if you come here, there is not many stores in walking distance. It was a 15-20 min drive on curvy roads to get to Sintra, and a 40 min drive to Lisbon.

Donde está situado no hay nada, el personal super agradable eso si. Pero el restaurante para poder desayunar, comer o cenar es una auténtica pena, nosotros llegamos a las nueve de la noche para cenar y nos dicen q están cerrando , ya q se han quedado sin comida ( un sábado del mes d agosto en temporada alta) la playa sobre todo para surfistas

Tout est payant, y compris les services gratuits ailleurs: spa, ping-pong, mini tennis,... La carafe d'eau est plus chère que la bière!!!! Personnel serviable, à l'écoute. L'établissement ne "vaut" que 2 étoiles d'un point de vue prestation/confort, la troisième étoile est justifiée par l'emplacement (sauvage, vue sur mer). Quelques problèmes d'humidité dans l'appartement.

Fomos no Inverno o apartamento é acolhedor, o aquecimento funciona bem, se bem que a caldeira podia dar para mais tempo no duche. Devia ter uma forma de poder esconder a claridade da manhã, um pouco mais pois com crianças pequenas quando veem o primeiro raio de sol acordam.

Veel muggen, geen horren. Alleen op verzoek blijk je dagelijks schone handdoek te kunnen krijgen. In de hotelkamers amper waterdruk dus 's middags douchen is hopeloos. Terug na een lange wandeling zin in een biertje heeft de hotelbar geen koud bier of cola zero. En is er ook gedurende een kwartier niemand die tijd voor je heeft. Een pracht plek, maar vergane glorie. Komen nooit meer terug

Personal war sehr freundlich und hat uns bei Fragen gut zur Seite gestanden. WIFI war kostenlos und hat auch in schwacher Signalstärke auch unser Zimmer erreicht. Frühstück war befriedigend und minimalistisch aber für den Preis den wir gezahlt haben akzeptabel. Der Hund Rex hat uns immer ein lächeln aufs Gesicht gezaubert, obwohl er traurigerweise -wie es aussieht- kaum auslauf bekommt. Der Strand ist Fußläufig zu erreichen und mit dem Mietwagen kommt man auch an sehr schöne Orte die alle ca. 5-15 km entfernt sind an (Kloster, Burg, Palast und Historische Stadt im Raum Sintra sowie den westlichsten Punkt Kontinentaleuropas) Wir waren hier nur für 3 Nächte aber ich denke länger hätte es auch nicht sein dürfen. Unser Zimmer war für unser Empfinden das schäbigste im ganzen Hotel (Zimmer 302). Wir konnten einen Blick in ausgecheckte Zimmer werfen und diese sahen nicht so abgewohnt aus wie unseres. Mit unter das schlimmste war der Geruch, er ist unbeschreiblich, zwischen feucht und WC-Reiniger. Im Bad waren Schimmelflecken an der Decke (siehe Bilder) und der Wasserdruck war als würde man sich mit einer Kaffeetasse voll Wasser waschen, wenn das Wasser nach ca. 5 Minuten laufen lassen dann doch warm wurde, hat der Wasserdruck dann noch einmal deutlich nachgelassen. Der Reinigungszustand bei unsere Ankunft war ausreichend aber nicht sehr sauber, in der Zeit die wir da waren war zwar ein Zimmermädchen da, diese hat aber nur Ordnung gemacht aber nicht gereinigt. Handtücher werden alle 3 Tage gewechselt, Klopapier darf nicht in die Toilette geworfen werden. Großes Problem war für uns auch die Mückenplage (etwa 30 Mücken bei ankunft). Zimmer sind zusätzlich auch noch sehr hellhörig, wenn jemand im Nachbarraum gehustet hat, klang es als wäre er zu gegen. Insgesamt sieht alles ein wenig im Stich gelassen aus, es war bestimmt mal eine schöne Anlage. Trotzdem würde ich zumindest das Zimmer mit Meerblick im Haupthaus nicht weiterempfehlen. Wir hatten trotzdem eine schöne Zeit, die aber dem Mangel unseres Aufenthaltes im Hotel geschuldet ist.

Boa tarde Quero agradecer a todo o staff e principalmente a colaborador Joana toda a ajuda e atenção que me proporcionaram e a minha esposa na comemoração dos 11 anos de casamento. Conseguiram o mesmo quarto da noite de núpcias, o decoraram e deixaram me acabar a surpresa que estava a preparar. Um local que deixa marcas não só pelo significado mas também pela atenção que sempre prestaram. Não perderam as qualidades e espero voltar a repetir.

Un apartamento muy acogedor y cómodo. Ideal para estancias en verano sobretodo, porque está en primera línea de playa y tiene una piscina enorme y zona de jardín y barbacoa. También tiene zona de columpios para niños.

Property was on the beach, not able to find any dinner option in walking distance. WiFi was not available. Staff was friendly. Very limited breakfast.

The room was horrendous. Truthfully did not want to stay in this apartment, but there were no other options. It was a last minute plan, but not a very good one. The reviews made me very thrown off. There were soooo many flys, the bathroom was very worn down, and the beds felt like you were sleeping on the floor. Overall, the place needs an update. I travel a lot in Portugal to visit family, but I will not be staying here again.

The people at this property work hard and correct some of the deficits in other aspects like the condition of the property. The location on the beach provides stunning views. If they can get the property up to date, they will offer a genuinely wonderful stay.

Ужасные условия в номере. Сырость, плесень, запах и комары. Нет вентиляции. Розетки вываливаются из стен. Завтрак - пара булок, ждём и масло с йогуртом. 110 евро за ночь! Вспоминать неприятно. Хорошо что на одну ночь проездом останавливались. Один плюс есть в таком качестве - сразу начинаешь ценить то, к чему раньше придирался. Все познаётся в сравнении.

Nos gostamps muito, foi uma experiência e tanto, até o meu filho de nome de casa nova. E queremos ir de nova no verão.

Super accueil - des gens très aidants et sympathiques!Très propre, mais malheureusement les meubles sont très usés (tâches sur sofas, plafond).Cest quand même un endroit très tranquille et agréable avec accès direct à une plage spectaculaire.Si le prix de létablissement était plus bas, le fait que les installation ont vue des meilleurs jours maurais moins dérangé.

Ein kleines und einfaches Hotel, das seine besten Tage (Besuch 2015) gesehen hat. Stühle und Betten zollen mit Rost der salzigen Luft Tribut. Das Bad wartet dringend auf eine Erneuerung. Aber die Lage des Hotels ist kaum bezahlbar. Abseits des Massentourismus an einem bei Surfern bevorzugten Strand liegt das Hotel an bester Stelle. Essen kann man im Hotel oder in bequem zu Fuss zu erreichenden Gaststätten. Alles in allem ist der Zimmerpreis angemessen (nicht zuletzt durch die Lage)

Very friendly and helpful staff but the rooms are basic. For the price I wouldve expected more and the wifi was very iffy.

Wir haben ein Appartment für 4 Personen gebucht, aber als wir ankamen sagte man uns, dass sie überbucht seien und uns nur zwei Doppelzimmer zu einem günstigeren Preis anbieten könnten. Die Zimmer waren ohne Balkon und in einem runtergekommenen, nicht ganz sauberen Zustand (Haare im Bad,Toiletteneimer den man mit den Fingerspitzen nicht anfassen möchte, Löcher in der Badewanne und Waschbecken). Das Hotel bietet ein Frühstück an, auf welches man wirklich verzichten sollte (Haar im Kaffee, Obst aus der Dose etc). Das Servicepersonal hat sich bemüht und wir haben anfangs alles mit einem lächelnden Auge hingenommen und akzeptiert, weil die Lage der Quinta einfach wunderschön ist und ideal als Ausgangspunkt für die Kombination Strandurlaub/Städtebesichtigung (Sintra, Lissabon) ist. Als dann aber am Ende eine Rechnung kam über den Preis des ursprünglich gebuchten Appartments und sich herausgestellt hat, dass die Hotelleitung keine Stornierung bzgl. der Überbuchung bei Hotels.com vorgenommen hat, waren wir wirklich sauer. Letztendlich haben wir den geforderten Preis bezahlt, weil wir uns dummerweise auf das Wort der Hotelleitung verlassen haben und nicht selber Kontakt mit Hotel.com aufgenommen hatten. Wir wären nach der 1. Nacht ausgezogen und hätten uns eine andere Unterkunft gesucht, in der wir uns auch hätten selber verpflegen können.

When you go through the gate you feel like you arrived at a Spanish mansion. Quinta da Vigia sits right on the cliff above the ocean, you can smell the salty air and hear the waves. Definitely something different.The place is not a 5-star hotel, so if you look for the cold, fancy style of Hilton, Intercontinental etc. - this is not the place for you. But if you are into the local atmosphere, this is a great spot.Pedro was very kind and helpful. We highly recommend this place.

El personal (Pedro) super amable y muy atento. Los apartamentos son chulos y espaciosos. Están completos y no es necesario llevar prácticamentee nada de casa.

Hotel is Nice. You will need a car if you are planing to stay here. All the difference is made by the hotel Rep. Pedro. He will go out of his way to answered all your questions. He will make you feel at home. From restaurants to sight seen places He will give the best of advice. Hotel has a nice private parking lot and a nice view to the water.
