It was the best day of my life! Everything was perfect! I didn't had to worry about a thing on my Wedding Day! Rita is always on top of everything, she is like a superwoman! I had a beach ceremony in Guincho beach and the reception was in Senhora Da Guia Boutique Hotel, every little detail was extraordinary! I owe it all to Destination Weddings in Portugal!

Polina, Rita and their team went above and beyond our expectations in creating the most amazing experience. Their team was always one step ahead of us and appeared to have thought out even detail anticipating every single nuance of the event. Their local knowledge coupled with their impeccable sense and talent for hospitality was apparent from our first encounter and remained consistent throughout the entire (year long) planning experience. We found at Senhora da Guia in Cascais the perfect venue for our special day – a cozy and beautiful site by the sea, in a town and landscape with meaning for us. The hotel, the restaurant and the food was amazing, the facilities had everything that was needed and the staff was always friendly and handled all the details to ensure a perfect day. The organization conducted by Rita and Destination Weddings included a plan several weeks upfront for everything by the minute and things happened quite smoothly through the day, allowing us to relax and enjoy all the moments. The wedding happened in April, with a mix of sunshine and rain, which resulted in tremendous light for photography and the ceremony could still be held in the garden, with the ocean in the background, as we hoped for. We couldn’t have picked a better place to celebrate our wedding, so we definitely recommend it 100%!

Most professional and trustworthy service! We used Destination Weddings in Portugal to arrange our wedding in Cascais in September 2019. The organisation of our wedding exceeded our expectations. Rita recommended a number of amazing venues and we finally settled on Forte da Cruz in Estoril. The venue was beautiful and attention was paid to every detail. Rita and her team kept in close communication over the year and were helpful, prompt and really organised. We had photographers, videographers, large band flying in from the UK and everything went like clockwork! Rita was also invaluable in helping us navigate the bureaucracy and paperwork involved in our legal marriage process. We 100% recommend Rita and her team for your wedding in Cascais and other parts of Portugal!

We were given an extended menu of options for our wedding and both Rita and our venue were very flexible in accommodating all our needs and those of our guests. Rita also recommended a number of other professionals for the wedding, incl. photographer, hair and make up artists and a DJ. The whole day was perfectly organised and went smoothly. We chose Rita and her team as our wedding planners for our wedding party in Cascais. From the very first meeting all the way through to after the wedding, she was an absolute joy and I'm so glad we chose her. The communication leading up to the wedding was excellent, highly responsive, nothing was too much and everything was planned to the smallest detail. Flexibility with the menu, accommodating many guest request and really advising on the best possible deals for us to ensure we don't waste money given the high expense of the wedding. On the day itself - what can I say - as the bride, I had nothing to think or worry about other than enjoy every second of my wedding day. Our guests were incredibly impressed by the organisation given we had to move 85 guests (incl. elderly guests and children) between two venues, the service during the canapés and the meal and the quality of food and drinks. I do want to mention the food in a little more detail - it was the most delicious wedding meal I have ever tasted - many guests kept calling me even two weeks after the wedding to tell me how amazing the food was. It was literally incredible. We couldn't have asked for any more and are so lucky and appreciative to have had Rita and her team plan this special day for us. I would recommend them with no hesitation.

Oliver and I married at Senhora Da Guia on Saturday 19th May 2018. From start to finish the whole planning process was fantastically organised! Being based in England and marrying in Portugal I was slightly nervous from the offset, but Rita ensured I had nothing to worry about. Destination Weddings in Portugal is an absolutely fantastic company to work with. They planned our wedding in 2017 to absolute perfection. From start to finish they were accommodating and attentive. We spoke with three of their staff - Polina, Vanessa and Rita - who looked after us throughout the process of organising the wedding and there was never any task too big or anything that they couldn’t sort between them. They were all absolutely fantastic. The bonus here as well is that Senhora da Guia is a wonderful hotel. It has been tastefully upgraded and really for holding a wedding it is perfect. Having the wedding in the garden, reception in the upper grounds, dinner in the restaurant / veranda, and then the rest of the evening back in the upper grounds meant there was an amazing variety to the whole day, rather than being in one room the whole time. Rita and her team made sure that everything worked like clockwork as well. She even made me an emergency buttonhole (which was better than my groomsmens ones) from flowers in the garden when we realised the florist hadn’t sent enough! I really cannot praise the company, Rita and her team and the hotel enough. If you want to have your wedding in this part of Portugal then make sure that Destination Weddings are your first port of call. From experience I can guarantee you won’t regret your choice!

My fairytale wedding, that’s how I tell everyone about my Big day! A simple ‘thank you’ can’t begin to express our gratitude for everything you and your staff did to make our day truly perfect! I think we are the luckiest couple to fall into the hands of Rita and the Destination Weddings in Portugal team! For us was very important to plan everything online, because we currently live in Dubai and didn’t have time to come to Portugal before wedding. Communication with Rita was very easy, she always replied straight away and was available at all time, imagine the time difference and etc. There were no worries at all during key moments, Rita brought all my phantasy into reality, even magically found the way to work out all the disagreements between me and my husband when it comes to choose the cake for example. =) Rita helped us to choose the right location for our venue depends on number of guests, the style of the venue and our other preferences, and it was incredible, my first time to be there was at my wedding and I felt myself as a real princess going to get married in the beautiful villa by the ocean! The decorations, flowers, illumination and the most important – dinner, deserve a special praise! My bride bouquet was very special… I just shared with Rita my favorite flowers and colors, but I could’t imagine that she will go beyond and make it so significant. Every type of flower had a very deep meaning for me through out my life. The dinner was a truly a incredible experience! Not only because a mouthwatering food but also because of the level of service. Such a small details like me and my husband was served simultaneously made a big impression! Destination Weddings in Portugal not only fulfilled my expectations, went beyond that but even managed to surprise us with an unexpected fireworks during cake cutting! We want to thank Destination Weddings in Portugal for a great wedding at Senhora da Guia Cascais Boutique Hotel . All our guests have been telling us that this was the best wedding they have ever attended. Their professional attitude and obvious experience in arranging these events let us enjoy the wedding without worrying about anything. Our only regret is not paying for one more hour of open bar, as the party was so successful that hardly any of the guests wanted to leave at 2 a.m. The DJ did a very good job, and even people that normally would stay away from the dance floor could be observed dancing. We had our wedding in Senhora da Guia in May this year, organised by Destination Weddings Portugal, and it was absolutely perfect. Our 110 guests all loved the hotel and the beautiful location. It was a pleasure working with Vanessa in the run up to the wedding, she was really helpful and we loved the ease of being able to send pictures of what we were looking for in terms of flowers, decorations, cake etc and then Vanessa would sort it out for us. She is obviously very experienced and has a good artistic eye so we knew we could trust her to make everything look just as we wanted! When it came to the day itself it was wonderful to be able to relax and know that Vanessa and Patricia were organising everything – Vanessa was there throughout the day to make sure everything ran smoothly and would occasionally discreetly pop over to check we were happy with how everything was going. Every single element of the day, from the set up and decorations for the ceremony, reception and dinner, to the staff of the hotel, the food, the photographer and the DJ were absolutely perfect. The DJ, Tiago, did a particularly brilliant job, he had all the guests dancing all night! We are so grateful to Vanessa for helping to make our dream wedding come true. My sister got married in this venue and we absolutely loved it!! Such a beautiful venue, organized staff, and scrumptious foooood! The packages that they offer are also simply amazing as they take care of everything and my sister just had to be present, and when we arrived everything was taken care of. Since she is a mother of three and has quite the busy professional life, this was such a help for our whole family! Her wedding planner, vanessa, helped with everythinggg! No ano passado fui convidado num casamento organizado pela Destination Weddings no Hotel Senhora da Guia. Adorei a cerimónia no jardim com vista mar. Tiramos fotos muito giras no jardim da fonte. O Jantar tinha comida óptima. Gostamos imenso do Robalo e do Lombo de Porco preto que foi servido. A coordenadora do casamento esteve sempre lá o dia todo a ajudar os noivos e a preparar todos os detalhes. Este ano vou casar e esperamos ter uma wedding planner tão boa!

We ended up having a wedding at Senhora da Guia Hotel almost by accident as the Villa Sao Paulo we had originally booked went bankrupt and so we were offered a package there at the last minute. We have to say that it was the best thing that happened to our wedding. This hotel, the staff and particularly Polina and Vanessa, the manager and organiser were fantastic and really made it such a special occasion. The staff are so friendly, professional and helpful throughout the day and in fact the whole weekend that we really didn’t have to worry about a thing from start to finish. We could not fault a single moment of the day. All our guests have been saying how it was the most relaxed wedding they have ever been to, how the staff were friendly, happy and easy going, they all came across like they all genuinely wanted to help the whole time. This really is a value for money package they offer. Anywhere else in the world, you would pay double what Destination Weddings are offering. Vanessa the organiser is a genuinely warm friendly person, both incredibly kind and expert at what she is doing. She quietly went about in the background, always there when you needed her and never there when you didn’t. She was still there making sure everything was still going smoothly even at the end of the night, at 3 in the morning. If you could all see the happiness and the joy that our wedding brought to us, our family and all our guests, then you would understand why we are giving Destination Weddings such a positive review.
