My very first surf lesson - however, I wasn’t that happy after all. First of all, the initial price of 25€ was raised to 30€ even though we agreed on a lower price the day before. I told them that I am an absolute beginner and they took me to Guicho beach. The waves were too big for a first surfing lesson.

Já experimentei muitas escolas de surf, mas nunca nenhuma foi tão completa como a Lisbon Surfaris! Atendimento e acompanhamento excelente

These people of Lisbon Surfaris is awesome! Surfing is not the easiest thing in the world but they really make sure even the clumsiest person in the world is able to surf some waves in the first lesson, I really recommend! So much fun!

Danke für den freundlichen und flexiblen Service! Vor allem meine Bike Touren, die Orte rund um Lissabon und die Yogastunden mit Sofia habe ich sehr genossen. Ich habe in meinem Zimmer sehr gut geschlafen!
Frisches Obst zum Frühstück wären wunderbar gewesen. Die Bäder bedürfen einer Renovierung.

The instructors are very charismatic and enthusiastic about surfing. I learned that my instructor has over 20 years of experience! Stretching and safety lessons beforehand helped to avoid injuries. The instructor was very knowledgeable and helped me catch some nice sized waves, very well done! Not to mention a great price!

Guys were great. Good times, friendly and professional. I had two days with much more personalized instruction than the bigger surf groups around me that had 8-10 to a group.

Amazing team working at Lisbon surfaris! The owners Ze and Tiago really make sure your experience is beyond your expectations. All equipment is brand new and they have a huge range of surf boards. Located in the beautiful Carcavelos, they also offer bike rentals for you to explore the area, I tried one of the bikes and they are really comfortable. Keep up with the good work guys!! I was very excited about my first contact with surfing. The experience was wonderful, from the approach in the shop to meet the school, to the practical class. Francisco was a very patient, caring instructor and he encouraged me all the time! I loved the experience!

I hadnt surfed in six years, but these guys were really great with helping me get back on the board and really ride it out to shore! Super grateful, hopefully will get to meet them surfing again in portugal or somewhere else in the world!

I took a couple of surf classes with Lisbon Surfaris and I will for sure be back! They are such an great group of experienced surfers, super motivated to give you the best surf lessons. They know the ocean very well and adapt the class times and locations to provide the best experience. But most of all they are all funny people and always in a great mood, as every surfer should be ;) Totally recommend!!

We had a lovely experience with Lisbon Surfaris, we were in 2, both beginners and it was great to be able to try and even surf some waves on Christmas season with such a good vibe.
Teachers were nice and professional always pushing us to not give up, explaining what we should improve and giving each one the space we needed to respect our own times.
The group was different every day and there were different levels being followed on the same class but it was a good thing as you could learn from watching and understand (for example) how important the timing is on surf.

We stumbled across Surfaris accidently getting out at Carcavelos to go surf. They gave us a board, a nice wetsuit and a ride to the beach. Perfect service for 15 € for the few hours. Was perfect, thanks!

I took a group beginner lesson and although it was a big group there were plenty of instructors to make sure that everyone got as much help as they needed. All the instructors were super friendly and helpful and the best bit was their genuine excitement whenever anyone in the group caught a wave and managed to stand up. It was a really nice atmosphere to learn in. The beach was also perfect for beginners with no rocks or stones to crash into or stand on and you could access good waves from waist deep so it was perfect for someone like me as I get a bit uncomfortable when I'm out of my depth in the ocean. A great experience and I would definitely recommend! Thanks guys!

Uma escola espetacular que sem perder o profissionalismo, mantém a animação imprescindível duma escola de surf. Quem tiver a sorte de ter aulas com o professor André Figueiredo, reformulará todo um conceito de aprendizagem nas ondas. Recomendo vivamente! Boas ondas ♂️

I took a surf lesson and rented a bike from this company. I was much older than all the other students but Francisco, my instructor was amazing and wouldn't let me give up until I stood up. It's not easy but they made sure we were safe and pushed us to keep trying. Loved my experience and would highly recommend them!!

super professional instructors!
Don’t think too long until your vacations come to the end,as we did taking the surfing lesson on our last day and regretting that we hadn’t started earlier. It’s better to try it immediately ❤️

We loved surfing with Thiago today! Fantastic instructor and excellent banter throughout the session. We initially thought it would be too cold in February, however the wet suits provided were great quality. Despite being low season, we managed to capture lots of gnarly waves

Although my body hurts today, I can definitely recommend taking a class with these guys! We were a small group of beginners and had lots of fun and a good experience. They did not let us give up! :)

This surf school is amazing, I've always been curious to try and who would say that during a walk I was going to come across this school in Carcavelos, the sympathy of the instructors captivated so much that I decided to try it. I was a little bit afraid, but the instructor's professionalism was excellent, I realized right away that I was in good hands. No doubt that I will come back.

I can describe the experience using 3 words: fun, safe and completely new. If you are familiar with the snowboard well the surf board will definetly get you out from the comfort zone, but Tiago is a professional instructor and he will help you conquering the waves . Kudos

The Lisbon Surfaris guys were awesome! Super friendly and helpful, they didn't let me or my girlfriend give up. Would definitely come back to improve on my surfing skills when I come back to Lisbon!

I was looking for a place where I could learn surfing in a fun, social environment, have a different experience with my cousin while had the best time.
The guys made me feel completely at home, very good communication with all people and guidance in and out of the water.
The school and activities are well organised, with good equipment and local experts that take us to the best beachs around.
If you are new to surfing, or just want a local guide to get you on waves and point out the breaks and channels, this is the way to go. Thanks José and Francisco.

We had a surfing class today at Surfaris and we would really recommand it! Nice people and chill vibes. We’ve been picked up at our hostel and they even brought us back. Had a very nice experience for the first time surfing! :-)

The surf teachers are cool guys and friendly and such, but I honestly didn’t learn much from them. I had my first surfing lesson at Guincho beach three days before, which was great, so I knew the basics already, at least by head. At Surfaris we only got taught some basics, not even about what to do when you fall and a few other important things were left out that I did get taught before. We spent about an hour in the water and paid 30 euros, even though the website says 25 euros for two hours of surfing.
During surfing I didn’t get any feedback at all, even though I was falling constantly as the waves this day were too strong for beginners to practice with. The “teacher” only pointed out waves to surf and gave us a high five if we did something right. My first surfing lesson was really good, but this one was just dissappointing unfortunately.

“You can’t stop the waves but you can learn how to surf” ~ my friends and I love surfing, and this week we had a breathtaking experience at Lisbon Surfaris.
Francisco, Patrick, José and Sebastian were amazing instructors with deep knowledge and passion for surfing.
The friendliness and approachability of the Lisbon Surfaris team made our week of surfing delightful and educational.

This was a great experience and made a lot better by Lisbon Surfaris. They were really flexible with our schedule and Francisco the instructor was amazing!!! Highly recommend
